Description

Portable electronic equipment and remote controller thereof
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to a portable electronic device and a remote controller thereof.
Background
More and more electronic devices are equipped with electronic accessories, such as remote controllers, etc., which are separated from the electronic device body.
On the one hand, for electronic apparatuses, particularly portable electronic apparatuses, electronic accessories such as remote controllers are often designed to be separated from the apparatus main body. When going out, the utility model needs to be carried separately. It may be possible to forget to carry the electronic accessory, lose the electronic accessory, or adapt to an inconvenience of finding or removing the electronic accessory from the bag. In other words, the conventional electronic device has a disadvantage that it is inconvenient to carry the electronic device in a manner of separating the electronic device from the electronic components such as the remote controller.
On the other hand, these electronic accessories also require a power supply as with the electronic apparatus main body.
Typically, these electronic accessories use dry cells as the power source rather than rechargeable batteries. Therefore, when the electric quantity of the dry battery is used up, the battery also needs to be replaced, and the use is inconvenient.
Dry cells are typically used in the prior art because providing additional charging equipment separately for these electronic accessories results in redundant equipment accessories that are inconvenient to use and carry.
In particular, for portable electronic devices, the device main body generally also has a battery that needs to be charged. In the case where a power adapter is provided for an apparatus main body for power supply and charging, it is neither economical nor convenient if a set of apparatus accessories for charging electronic accessories such as a remote controller is prepared.
It is seen that there is still a need for an improved design for electronic accessories such as remote controls.

Therefore, the rechargeable battery 210 of the remote controller 20 can directly obtain electric energy from the device body 10 without being equipped with a set of charging accessories, so that the charging is realized, the device is simplified, and the use and the carrying are convenient.
[ CONTROL ]
As shown in fig. 2, the apparatus body 10 may further be provided with a sensing device 150 and a control module 160.
The sensing means 150 senses the attached state of the remote controller 20 to the apparatus body 10 of the portable electronic apparatus and transmits the detection result to the control module 160.
The sensing device 150 may be, for example, a mechanical sensing device such as a contact. Alternatively, the sensing device 150 may be an optical sensing device.
The control module 160 controls the operating state of the portable device.
In the case where the portable electronic apparatus is in the power-on state, the control module 160 may turn off the portable electronic apparatus or put the portable electronic apparatus into the sleep state in response to the remote controller 20 being attached to the apparatus body 10 of the portable electronic apparatus.
In addition, the control module 160 may also turn on or wake the portable electronic device in response to the remote control 20 being detached from the portable electronic device.
It may be set when the apparatus is shipped from a factory or may be set by a user, and when the remote controller 20 is attached to the apparatus main body 10, the apparatus is turned off or put into a sleep state. The device may also be turned off after entering the sleep state for a predetermined length of time.
For some portable electronic devices, such as a portable projector, the replacement of an electronic component such as the remote controller 20 in the device main body 10 often means that the user ends the use of the device, and the removal of the electronic component such as the remote controller 20 from the device main body 10 means that the user intends to start the use of the device. In this way, the device is turned on/awake or turned off/hibernated according to detachment or attachment of an electronic accessory such as the remote controller 20 to the device body 10, so that the device operation is simplified, and the user experience can be significantly improved.
In addition, it should be understood that the sensing device 150 may also transmit the above detection result to the charging module 130. The charging module 130 may also control the charging process according to the detection result, such as starting or ending the charging.
[ residual electric quantity ]
In addition, a power detection module 170 (exemplarily shown on the apparatus body 10 in fig. 2) may be further disposed on the apparatus body 10 or the remote controller 20 of the portable electronic apparatus for detecting the remaining power of the remote controller.
Accordingly, an output device 172, a reminder device 174, and a transmission device 176 may also be provided on the apparatus main body 10 or the remote controller 20, which is exemplarily shown on the apparatus main body 10 in fig. 2.
The output device 172 outputs the remaining power information of the remote controller, for example, in the form of voice, LED display screen, LED signal lamp, or the like.
When the remaining power of the remote controller is lower than the first threshold, the reminding device 174 may send out a reminder in the form of a warning tone, voice, LED display screen, LED signal lamp, or the like. The first threshold may be, for example, 20% or 10% of full charge.
In addition, the information of the remaining power of the remote controller 20 or the reminding information that the remaining power of the remote controller 20 is lower than the first threshold may be sent to the server or the smart device through the sending device 176. The user can check the remaining power information or the reminding information of the remote controller through an APP page on the intelligent device.
In addition, the charging module 130 may start charging the rechargeable battery 210 if the remaining capacity of the remote controller 20 is lower than the second threshold. And in the case where the remaining capacity of the remote controller 20 is not lower than the second threshold, the rechargeable battery 210 of the remote controller 20 is not charged even if the remote controller 20 is fixedly attached to the apparatus body 10. The second threshold may be, for example, 50% or 60% of full charge.
It should be understood that the first threshold and the second threshold may be preset when the device is shipped from the factory, or may be set by the user.
In one embodiment, after the sensing device 150 senses that the remote controller 20 is fixedly attached to the apparatus main body 10, the power detecting module 170 may further determine whether the apparatus main body 10 is currently connected to the external power source through the power adapter 30 when the remaining power of the rechargeable battery 210 is lower than the second threshold. In the case where the apparatus body 10 is not connected to the external power supply through the power adapter, the rechargeable battery 210 is not charged. And in the case where the apparatus body 10 has been connected to an external power supply through a power adapter, the rechargeable battery 210 is charged.
The portable electronic device may further have a battery 110 provided on the device body 10.
The battery 110 may be a battery for supplying power to the portable electronic device. Alternatively, the battery 110 may be a portable power source dedicated to charging an external device such as an electronic component such as the remote controller 20.
The apparatus body 10 of the portable electronic apparatus may be further provided with a changeover switch 180.
When the portable electronic device is connected to an external power source through a power adapter, the switch 180 is switched to enable the charging module 130 to charge the rechargeable battery 210 through the power adapter.
When the portable electronic device is not connected to the external power source through the power adapter, the switch 180 is switched to enable the charging module 130 to charge the rechargeable battery 210 through the battery 110.
In addition, in the case where the battery 110 is a battery for supplying power to the device main body 10 of the portable electronic device, when the device main body 10 has been connected to an external power supply through a power adapter, the control module 160 may also determine a charging policy according to the respective remaining power amounts of the battery 110 of the device main body 10 and the rechargeable battery 210 of the remote controller 20, and determine which battery is to be charged with priority, so as to achieve a comprehensive optimization effect.
For example, in the case where the remaining amount of the battery 110 of the apparatus main body 10 is small, less than a predetermined proportion of the full charge amount, for example, 10%, or insufficient for use at the time of power-on for a predetermined period of time, for example, 10 minutes, the battery 110 of the apparatus main body 10 is preferentially charged even if the remaining amount of the rechargeable battery 210 of the remote controller 20 is lower than the second threshold, for example, less than, for example, 50% of the full charge amount.
If the battery 110 is dedicated to a portable power source for charging an external device such as an electronic accessory like the remote controller 20. The rechargeable battery 210 of the remote controller 20 can be charged with priority.
In this way, on the one hand, frequent charging of the rechargeable battery 210, which may lead to damage or aging of the battery 210, can be avoided, and on the other hand, particularly in the case of charging the rechargeable battery 210 using the battery 110 of the apparatus main body 10, unnecessary consumption of the electric power of the battery 110 can be avoided, reducing the sustainable use period of time of the apparatus main body 10.
The control logic of the control module 160 may be briefly described as follows.
When the remote controller 20 is fixedly attached to (replaced in) the apparatus main body 10, it is determined whether or not the portable electronic apparatus is in an on state.
If in the on state, then (depending on the configuration) a shutdown operation is performed or the device is put into a hibernation state.
It is determined whether the apparatus body 10 is connected to an external power supply through a power adapter.
If connected to an external power source through a power adapter, the rechargeable battery 210 of the remote controller 20 is charged through the power adapter.
If the apparatus body 10 is not connected to an external power source through a power adapter and the apparatus body 10 itself has the battery 110, the rechargeable battery 210 of the remote controller 20 can be charged by the battery 110 of the apparatus body 10.
As an example, the portable electronic device of the present disclosure may be a portable projector.
The remote controller is removably attachable to the portable projector and is fixed integral with the portable projector. In the case where the remote controller is attached to the portable projector, a charging module provided on the portable projector may charge a rechargeable battery of the remote controller.
The lens of the portable projector may be configured such that, when the remote controller is attached to the portable electronic device, the remote controller may cover the lens, thereby playing a role in protecting the lens.
The above description has been made by taking a remote controller as an example. It should be understood that the same or similar design scheme may be used for various other electronic accessories used with portable electronic devices so that the electronic accessory can be removably attached to and integrally secured with the portable electronic device. In the case where the electronic accessory is attached to the portable electronic device, a charging module provided on the portable electronic device may charge a rechargeable battery of the electronic accessory.
In addition, the above description focuses on the design scheme of the portable electronic device and the electronic accessories such as the remote controller thereof. It should be understood that the design of the present disclosure is equally applicable to various other types of electronic devices.
