Detailed Description
The application provides a USB function testing method, device and equipment of a KVM system, which are used for solving the technical problems that in the prior art, the function of USB mobile storage equipment accessed to the KVM system is tested in a manual operation mode, and the testing efficiency and the accuracy of a testing result are low due to the fact that the conditions of missing testing, misoperation and the like are easy to occur.
In order to make the technical solutions of the present application better understood, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
For easy understanding, please refer to fig. 1, an embodiment of a method for testing a USB function of a KVM system provided in the present application includes:
step 101, after a first KVM receiving terminal in the KVM system accesses a first USB removable storage device, performing a function test on the first USB removable storage device through a monitoring program installed on a controlled host to obtain a first test result, where the controlled host is in communication connection with the first KVM receiving terminal.
In consideration of the fact that the prior art tests the KVM system to access the USB removable storage device, the test is mainly performed in a manual test mode, that is, the USB removable storage device is accessed into the KVM system, and after the remote end is detected to be accessed by the control host, the remote end manually performs read-write function tests such as copying files and the like on the USB removable storage device; and index changes in the testing process cannot be recorded in detail.
In order to solve the above problem, in the embodiment of the present application, a monitoring program is installed on a controlled host in a KVM system, and a function test is automatically performed on the USB removable storage device through the monitoring program. Specifically, after a first KVM receiving terminal in the KVM system is accessed to a first USB removable storage device, a monitoring program installed on a controlled host computer is used for carrying out function test on the first USB removable storage device to obtain a first test result; the controlled host is in communication connection with the first KVM receiving terminal. According to the test requirement, a test scheme can be configured in the monitoring program in advance so as to automatically perform the function test on the first USB removable storage device. The test scheme can be configured by self, and various functional tests can be performed according to the test scheme, such as read-write functional tests, USB transmission functional tests which are enabled or disabled, and the like.
In the embodiment of the application, the monitoring program is installed on the controlled host in the KVM system, the monitoring program automatically performs the function test on the first USB mobile storage device on the first KVM receiving terminal in communication connection with the controlled host to obtain the first test result, and the test is performed without manual operation, so that the technical problem that in the prior art, the function test is performed on the USB mobile storage device accessed to the KVM system in a manual operation mode, the test missing, the misoperation and the like are easy to occur, and the test efficiency and the test result accuracy are lower is solved.
The above is an embodiment of a method for testing a USB function of a KVM system provided in the present application, and the following is another embodiment of a method for testing a USB function of a KVM system provided in the present application.
Referring to fig. 2, in an embodiment of the present application, a method for testing a USB function of a KVM system includes:
step 201, after a first KVM receiving terminal in the KVM system accesses a first USB removable storage device, performing a function test on the first USB removable storage device through a monitoring program installed on a controlled host to obtain a first test result, where the controlled host is in communication connection with the first KVM receiving terminal.
Referring to FIG. 3, the KVM system includes a plurality of hosts to be controlled, a KVM transmitter, a KVM switch, a KVM receiver and a control terminal. The controlled host and the control terminal are connected through the KVM transmitting terminal, the KVM signal switching device and the KVM receiving terminal through Ethernet communication. When the USB removable storage device is connected to the KVM receiving terminal and the KVM system enables the USB pass-through function, the same USB removable storage device can be connected to and displayed on the corresponding controlled host, and normal reading and writing operations can be performed.
Further, the functional test includes an enable USB pass-through functional test, and the corresponding first test result includes an enable USB pass-through functional test result. The specific process of enabling the USB pass-through function test is as follows:
after a first KVM receiving terminal in the KVM system is accessed to a first USB movable storage device, whether an access signal of the first USB movable storage device exists on a controlled host or not is detected through a monitoring program installed on the controlled host, and a test result of enabling the USB transmission function is obtained.
Under normal conditions, after a first KVM receiving terminal in the KVM system is connected to a first USB removable storage device, a controlled host in communication connection with the first KVM receiving terminal has an access signal of the first USB removable storage device.
Further, the function test includes a test for prohibiting the USB transparent function, and the corresponding first test result includes a test result for prohibiting the USB transparent function, specifically, after the first USB removable storage device is removed, whether a removal signal of the first USB removable storage device is present or not can be detected by the monitoring program on the controlled host, if so, it indicates that the USB transparent function is prohibited to be normal, otherwise, it indicates that the USB transparent function is prohibited to be abnormal.
Further, the function test also comprises a read-write function test, and the corresponding first test result comprises a read-write function test result. The specific process of the read-write function test is as follows:
and after detecting the access signal of the first USB movable storage device, performing read-write function test on the first USB movable storage device through the monitoring program to obtain a read-write function test result.
After the monitoring program on the controlled host detects the access signal of the first USB removable storage device, it may read and record the relevant information of the first USB removable storage device, such as the memory size and files of the first USB removable storage device. And the monitoring program on the controlled host copies the preset file under the local designated path to the first USB movable storage device, copies a file from the first USB movable storage device to the local, and tests that the read-write function of the first USB movable storage device is very normal, thereby completing the read-write function test, wherein the times of copying the file can be set in the monitoring program according to the actual situation. Further, in the read-write function test process, recording the performance data of the first USB removable storage device in the read-write function test process through the monitoring program, wherein the performance data at least comprises read speed, write speed or network bandwidth occupation data. Specifically, when the monitoring program on the controlled host copies the file to the first USB removable storage device or copies the file from the first USB removable storage device to the controlled host, the reading speed and the writing speed of the file, and the network bandwidth occupation data are recorded.
Step 202, a switch command is sent to the KVM signal switch in the KVM system, so that the KVM signal switch communicatively connects the controlled host to the second KVM receiving terminal.
In the embodiment of the present application, since there are multiple KVM receivers in the KVM system, in order to perform the function test on the USB removable storage device of each KVM receiver, the controlled host is connected to different KVM receivers through the KVM signal switching device in the KVM system, so as to complete the test. A controlled host in the KVM system may send the switching instruction through the network, or an additional host is accessed to the KVM system, and the additional host sends the switching instruction through the network, so that the KVM signal switching device realizes automatic switching.
Specifically, the sent switching instruction carries switching information, where the switching information may include an identifier (e.g., a number) of the controlled host and an identifier of a second KVM receiving terminal to which the controlled host is correspondingly switched, so that the KVM signal switching device connects the controlled host to the corresponding second KVM receiving terminal according to the switching information after receiving the switching instruction. For example, assume that a KVM system controlled host 0, controlled host 1, controlled host 2, KVM signal switch, and KVM receiver A, KVM receiver B and KVM receiver C, which have USB removable storage devices connected thereto; the controlled host 0 is an extra access host and is used for sending a switching instruction; the controlled host 1 is connected with a KVM receiving end A currently, the controlled host 2 is connected with a KVM receiving end B currently, the monitoring programs on the controlled hosts 1 and 2 both perform function tests on the USB movable storage devices, after a preset time period, the controlled host 0 sends a switching instruction to the KVM signal switching device through a network, switching information carried by the switching instruction is to connect the controlled host 1 to the KVM receiving end B, the controlled host 2 is connected to the KVM receiving end A, the KVM signal switching device connects the controlled host 1 to the KVM receiving end B according to the switching information carried in the switching instruction after receiving the switching instruction, and connects the controlled host 2 to the KVM receiving end A, so that the controlled host can perform one-to-one test on the USB movable storage devices on different KVM receiving ends. Of course, it is also possible to implement a function test under various conditions such as one-to-many (for example, the controlled host 1 is in communication connection with the KVM receiving terminals A, B and C) and many-to-one (for example, the controlled hosts 1 and 2 are in communication connection with the KVM receiving terminal a) and many-to-many (for example, the controlled hosts 1 and 2 are in communication connection with the KVM receiving terminals A, B and C), and it is also possible to repeat the test for a plurality of times to ensure the reliability of the test result.
It can be understood that the switching information and the switching time may be configured in advance in the controlled host sending the switching instruction according to the actual situation, and the switching time may be configured flexibly according to the test time required under various situations, such as one-to-one, many-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many.
In the embodiment of the application, the KVM signal switching equipment executes automatic switching without manual operation, so that the testing efficiency is improved; meanwhile, the KVM signal switching equipment and the monitoring program are matched to operate, a certain time is left between the next switching after each switching, so that the monitoring program executes corresponding testing tasks, one-to-one, many-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many and repeated tests can be completed through automatic switching, testing results under various conditions can be obtained, the testing efficiency is high, and the USB transparent transmission function limit of the KVM system is easy to test.
Step 203, performing a function test on the second USB removable storage device through the monitor program to obtain a second test result, where the second USB removable storage device is accessed to the second KVM receiving terminal.
The specific process of obtaining the second test result by the test is similar to the specific process of obtaining the first test result by the test, and the detailed description of the specific process of obtaining the second test result is omitted here.
In the prior art, various conditions such as one-to-one, many-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many, and many-to-many are tested manually, for example, a plurality of controlled hosts are connected with one KVM receiving terminal in a communication manner, and one controlled host is connected with a plurality of KVM receiving terminals, so that the test in these scenarios brings great inconvenience to the manual operation test, may cause problems such as misoperation, missing test, unfavorable observation, and the like of a tester, seriously affects the test efficiency, cannot accurately obtain the performance boundary of the USB movable storage device in the KVM system, and cannot efficiently perform accurate analysis on defects that may occur.
In this embodiment of the application, the number of the second USB removable storage devices connected to the second KVM receiving terminal may be 1 or more, and it may be implemented that one KVM receiving terminal performs a function test on multiple USB removable storage devices in the same controlled host. In the embodiment of the present application, the number of the second KVM receiving terminals may be 1 or more, and when the number of the second KVM receiving terminals is more than one, the function test of the second USB removable storage devices of the plurality of second KVM receiving terminals may be performed in parallel. Similarly, a second KVM receiver may be communicatively connected to 1 or more controlled hosts, so that the monitoring programs of the controlled hosts perform a function test on the second USB removable storage device of the second KVM receiver. The testing method in the embodiment of the application can obtain the testing results under various conditions, has high testing efficiency, is easy to measure the USB transparent transmission function limit of the KVM system, and facilitates developers to analyze and optimize the KVM system according to the obtained testing results.
Furthermore, the controlled host is connected to the second KVM receiving terminal through the KVM signal switching device, so as to perform a function test on the second USB removable storage device, and indirectly perform a function test on the KVM signal switching device, so as to test whether the KVM signal switching device can normally perform a switching function.
And step 204, generating a test report according to the first test result and the second test result.
After a first test result and a second test result which comprise a test result of the USB transparent transmission forbidding function, a test result of the USB transparent transmission enabling function, a test result of the read-write function and performance data are obtained, a test report can be generated based on the first parameter result and the second test result so as to analyze the USB function in the KVM system, the performance boundary used by the USB movable storage equipment in the KVM system can be accurately known through the obtained test report, and the method is favorable for accurately analyzing the defects which possibly appear.
Furthermore, in the embodiment of the application, the controlled host is connected to the second KVM receiving terminal through the KVM signal switching device in a communication manner, so that the second USB removable storage device is subjected to function testing, a plurality of KVM receiving terminals can perform function testing on the USB removable storage device in the same controlled host, and the same KVM receiving terminal performs function testing on the plurality of USB removable storage devices in the same controlled host, so that the USB transparent transmission function limit of the KVM system can be tested, and developers can analyze and optimize the KVM system; in addition, the embodiment of the application can also realize the automatic function test of the KVM signal switching equipment and test whether the KVM signal switching equipment can normally execute the switching function.
