Abstract

Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of electroplating of drying racks, in particular to a strong current protection device for electroplating of an electric heating towel drying rack body.
Background
The electrothermal towel rack and the bathroom drying rack on the existing market are mainly made of iron materials, the surface of the iron rack body needs to be electroplated, and the plating layers are mainly copper plating, nickel plating and chromium plating. Four end faces exist on the upper portion and the lower portion of the frame body, sharp corners and sharp edges are arranged on the edges of the frame body, cathode current is large in the electroplating process of the frame body, dendritic electroplating scorching can be generated at the tip end of the cathode and the protruding portion, and a cathode strong current protection device needs to be adopted. The current cathode strong current protection device generally adopts a mode of adding a circle of steel wire at the periphery of the rubber coating of an iron thread plug, but has the following defects:
1. when a steel ring on a common protection device is plated in a strong current area for a long time, dendritic electroplating is generated on the surface of the steel ring and accumulated, so that electroplating deposited metal on the steel ring needs to be cleaned regularly, if the steel ring is damaged, the steel ring needs to be replaced, and the connection part of an iron screw plug needs to be encapsulated again;
2. although the steel ring protector can effectively protect the frame bodies of the electric heating towel rack and the bathroom drying rack from being burnt and damaged by the spongy plating layer, copper, nickel and chromium ions in the electroplating solution can be lost in vain, and huge electroplating plating layer metal raw materials are wasted.
In view of the above, in order to reduce the production cost, it is necessary to design and manufacture an application and technology of a high current protection device for electroplating rack bodies of electric heating towel racks and bathroom drying racks.

The bottom of the sealing protective cover 1 is provided with a plurality of water through holes 103, and electroplating liquid in the electroplating bath can freely circulate through the water through holes 103 during electroplating.

The sealing protective cover 1 and the hanger protective cover 6 are made of plastic materials, and the sealing threaded joint and the hanger threaded joint are made of metal materials.
Similarly, the bottom of the hanger protective cover 6 is also provided with a plurality of limber holes for free flow of electroplating liquid in the electroplating bath during electroplating.

The sealing ring can effectively prevent water and electroplating solution from entering the inner cavity of the frame body 802, and sharp corners and sharp edges of four end surfaces of the frame body 802 are protected by a plastic protective cover during electroplating, so that the upper limit and the lower limit of cathode current density of a good coating can be obtained, and the phenomena of 'scorching' and formation of dendritic crystals or a spongy coating can be avoided at the sharp corners and the sharp edges; after the electroplating is finished, the hanger protection plug 801 and the sealing protection plug 803 are taken down through a bolt or a wrench, and then the electroplating process is finished.
The plastic protective covers of the hanger protection plug 801 and the seal protection plug 803 may be circular, square, oval, etc., or may be changed according to the shape of the frame pipe, so as to obtain the upper limit and the lower limit of the cathode current density of the good plating layer on the end surface of the frame 802. Because the protective cover is not made of iron or copper materials, the loss of copper ions, iron ions and nickel ions is reduced, and the loss of electroplating materials is saved by more than 0.5 percent.
