Abstract
The invention relates to a water-based base material which comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass: water-based resin, wetting agent, anti-settling agent, ethanol and water; the water-based paint comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: the above aqueous binder and powder coating. A method of repairing a powder coating comprising the steps of: mixing and stirring the powder coating and the water-based base material to form a water-based coating; coating or spraying the water-based paint on the repair area of the powder coating, and then waiting for the surface of the repair coating to be dried; polishing and flattening the repairing coating by using sand paper; and baking and curing the repairing coating by adopting hot air. The water-based paint can be prepared by mixing the existing powder paint and a water-based base material, can be directly repaired locally, avoids the trouble of specially preparing a liquid repairing paint, and is simple and convenient, low in cost and completely matched in performance and color.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of powder coating, in particular to a water-based base material, a water-based paint and a powder coating repairing method.
Background
With the enhancement of global Environmental protection consciousness, powder coating has the advantages of economy, high efficiency, Environmental protection, Energy Saving and the like (often called 4E: Economical, effective, Environmental, Energy Saving), so that the powder coating is developed rapidly, more and more liquid coating is continuously replaced by the powder coating, and good Environmental protection benefit and economic benefit are brought. In fact, the development of powder coatings has been accompanied by the replacement of liquid coatings by powder coatings, referred to as "paint-to-powder". With the continuous progress of powder coating technology and powder coating technology, especially the more and more strict national environmental protection policy in recent years, the process of changing paint into powder is greatly accelerated.
The situation that a local coating on the surface of a workpiece coated by powder is damaged by collision often occurs in the processes of transportation and installation, and the traditional method is to find a liquid repair paint which is prepared by a liquid paint supplier and has the same color as the powder coating for field repair. The method for repairing the powder coating by adopting the liquid repair paint has the following disadvantages that firstly, the liquid coating is usually cured in an air-drying mode, and is difficult to be completely matched with the powder coating cured at high temperature in color, luster, mechanical efficiency, chemical performance and the like, so that the quality problem is often caused; secondly, manufacturers for providing the powder coating do not usually produce the liquid coating, and need to find special manufacturers for the liquid coating for extremely small quantities of refinish paint, so that the color mixing, proofing, production, ordering, transportation and the like are troublesome, most of the refinish paints are extremely small in repairing quantity, the quantity of the refinish paint required is extremely small, the corresponding process is complicated and extremely high in cost, and the operation is often impossible; thirdly, the use of liquid refinishing paint also has safety and environmental protection problems.
With the increasing popularization of powder coating, nearly 200 million tons of powder coating are produced every year in China, and the problem of repairing after local coating is damaged is a very wide problem. How to find a quick, simple, low-cost and constant-performance powder coating repairing method is a topic with great application value.

The technical problem to be solved by the invention is as follows: the defects of the prior art are overcome, and the water-based base material, the water-based paint and the repairing method of the powder coating are provided to solve the problems of high cost, inconvenience and unreliable repairing quality of the existing powder coating during local repairing.

The invention has the beneficial effects that:
the water-based paint can be directly repaired locally, avoids the trouble of specially preparing liquid repair paint, is simple and convenient, has low cost, and completely matches the performance and the color.
Detailed Description
The repair by using the existing powder coating is to solve the problems of coating and baking firstly.
The coating is that firstly, the existing powder coating needs to be prepared into water-based coating which can be used for repairing, firstly, water-based base material is needed, the water-based base material is matched with the existing powder coating to prepare water-based suspension, and the suspension is sprayed by a small brush or a miniature spray gun.
The present invention focuses on how to prepare a liquid suspension using existing powder coatings for spraying using a conventional air gun. The powder coating is a mixture of polymer resin and pigment, is insoluble in water, has a relatively large specific gravity and is easy to settle in water. How to solve the problem of no sedimentation of powder is the key point that powder coating can not be used for repairing.
Another problem is the curing of powder coatings; regardless of the manner in which the application is accomplished, powder coatings require relatively high temperatures to complete the cure. The huge workpiece cannot be re-baked, and many products are installed and applied on the site without heating condition at all. Therefore, finding a simple, low-cost and anywhere applicable curing method is also the focus of the solution.
The existing powder coating mainly comprises polyester powder coating, polyurethane powder coating, polyester epoxy mixed powder coating, epoxy powder coating and PVDF powder coating; four water-based binders with high compatibility with the water-based binders are developed, namely a polyurethane water-based binder, an acrylic water-based binder, a polyester water-based binder and an epoxy water-based binder; the following examples are given to illustrate the present invention
Example one
The water-based base material comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass:
aqueous resin: 10-30 parts; the water-based resin is the main composition of the water-based base material, and can be partially dissolved with the powder coating with the help of a wetting agent to form a suspension.
Wetting agent: 0.5-2 parts; wetting agents are amphoteric surfactants which help to disperse and wet the powder coating with the aqueous resin, and oily powder coatings are more easily suspended in solution after being coated with the aqueous resin.
Anti-settling agent: 0.05-1.5 parts; the anti-settling agent can be used for preserving the prepared water-based paint for a long time, so that the particles can be kept for a long time without settling or agglomeration after settling.
Ethanol: 0-80 parts; the ethanol acts as a solvent, dissolving and diluting the resin. The ethanol is easier to volatilize than water, and can be added when quick drying is needed.
Water: 0-90 parts. The water acts as a solvent, dissolving and diluting the resin.
Optionally, the water-based resin is polyurethane water-based resin, and the prepared water-based base material is polyurethane water-based base material; the product model of the polyurethane waterborne resin is WD-551 Japanese DIC waterborne polyurethane;
the water-based resin is acrylic water-based resin, and the prepared water-based base material is acrylic water-based base material; the acrylic waterborne resin product is Joncryl 678 from BASF corporation.
The water-based resin is polyester water-based resin, and the prepared water-based base material is polyester water-based base material; the product model of the polyester water-based resin is Japanese shin-Etsu MD-1500.
The water-based resin is epoxy water-based resin, and the prepared water-based base material is epoxy water-based base material.
The epoxy water-based resin product is EPlKOTE6520-WH-53A water-based epoxy resin in Hansen Mi picture (original shell)
The water-based base material of the embodiment has good compatibility with the powder particles, can enable the powder particles to suspend in the water-based resin, is not easy to settle, and provides guarantee for repairing the powder coating.
The following table 1 shows the concrete sampling of the aqueous binder using the polyurethane aqueous resin, and the components of the acrylic aqueous resin, the epoxy aqueous resin, and the polyester aqueous resin may be referred to the polyurethane aqueous resin.

Unlike case one, a polyurethane waterborne resin and a PVDF fluorocarbon powder coating were used; the baking temperature of the powder coating panels was 230 deg.C/15 minutes.
The obtained repair coating has a smooth surface, and the luster and the color of the repair coating are basically consistent with those of other powder coating surfaces.
Case five
Unlike case one, acrylic waterborne and polyester powder coatings were used;
the surface is smooth and glossy, and the color is basically consistent with the surface of other powder coatings.
Case six
Unlike case five, a hybrid powder coating of acrylic waterborne and polyester epoxy;
the surface is smooth and glossy, and the color is basically consistent with the surface of other powder coatings.

According to the repairing method, the powder coating is prepared into the aqueous suspension by the aqueous coating, electrostatic spraying equipment is not needed after the powder coating is changed into the liquid, coating can be carried out only by a brush or a miniature air spray gun, and the coating is repaired more conveniently, quickly and simply.
