Please refer to the fourth preferred embodiment shown in fig. 18 to fig. 21, which is similar to the compasses of the third preferred embodiment in structure, and the difference is: the movable device 10C and the coupling end 31C of the operating member 30C do not have an eccentric distance therebetween, i.e., the first axis C of the movable device 10C1A second axis C of the coupling end 31C of the operating member 30C2The two half bodies 13C of the movable device 10C are combined with each other by the concave- convex grooves 131C,131C 'and the convex columns 132C, 132C', and the two half shells 44C of the outer cover 40C have a combination hole 441C and a combination column 442C that can be combined with each other; still further, each half shell 44C is provided with a lower half portionA circular arc-shaped limiting section 443C, so that when the outer cover 40C is combined with the two supporting legs 20C, the two limiting sections 443C can form a limiting space, thereby limiting the outward opening angle of the two supporting legs 20C relative to the outer cover 40C.
Further, referring to fig. 18 and 21, in a fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention, the position-limiting portion 33C of the operating element 30C has a first length L1The holding portion 45C has a second length L2The movable device 10C defines a maximum displacement D and the first length L1Not less than the second length L2And the sum of the maximum displacement D, i.e., L1≥L2+ D. In addition, a gap is formed between the limiting portion 33C of the operating element 30C and the inner wall of the holding portion 45C, and preferably, the gap is more than 0.05 millimeter (mm).
In the compass of the fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention, when the two legs 20C are folded, the limiting portion 33C of the operating element 30C is inserted into the limiting hole 42C of the outer cover 40C, and when the compass is used, referring to fig. 18 and 22, when the user opens the two legs 20C, the two legs 20C will drive the movable device 10C to move upward along the length direction of the operating element 30C relative to the outer cover 40C, so that the limiting portion 33C of the operating element 30C gradually extends upward through the limiting hole 42C of the outer cover 40C, and the swing angle of the operating element 30C is positively correlated with the opening angle of the two legs 20C, that is, the length of the operating element 30C protruding from the limiting hole 42C of the outer cover 40C increases as the radius of the circle/arc drawn by the two legs 20C increases, so that the swing angle of the operating element 30C is automatically adjusted accordingly, therefore, the compasses of the invention can automatically adjust the swing angle of the operating element 30C according to the setting of the circle drawing radius of the two support legs 20C, effectively improve the problem that the deflection angle of the existing swing type operating element can not be adjusted, provide users to draw circles or arcs with required radius quickly and easily, and greatly improve the versatility and the practicability of the compasses in operation.
