Description

Method for reporting measurement report and related products
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method for reporting a measurement report and a related product.
Background
For the unlicensed NR-U band in the New air interface (New Radio) NR system, the third generation partnership project 3GPP RAN working group agreed to the stand for unlicensed operation of NR (WID RP-182878) in month 12 of 2018, which aims to make NR operate in the unlicensed band, including the following working scenarios:
(1) Carrier aggregation scenario: the PCell is a licensed spectrum, and SCell working on an unlicensed spectrum is aggregated in a carrier aggregation mode;
(2) Double connection working scenario: PCell is LTE licensed spectrum, PScell is NR unlicensed spectrum;
(3) Independent working scene: NR as an independent cell operating in unlicensed spectrum
Generally, the operating Band (Band) of NR-U is 5GHz unlicensed spectrum and 6GHz unlicensed spectrum, (e.g., US5925-7125MHz,or European5925-6425MHz, etc.); on unlicensed spectrum, the design of NR-U should ensure fairness with other systems already operating on these unlicensed spectrum, such as wireless high-fidelity WiFi, etc. The principle of fairness is that the NR-U cannot have more impact on systems already deployed on unlicensed spectrum (e.g., wiFi) than between these systems.
In order to ensure fair coexistence between systems on unlicensed spectrum, energy detection has been agreed as a basic coexistence mechanism. A general energy detection mechanism is a listen-before-transmit LBT mechanism, whose basic principle is that a base station or terminal (transmitting end) needs to listen for a period of time as specified before transmitting data on an unlicensed spectrum. If the result of interception indicates that the channel is in an idle state, the transmitting end can transmit data to the receiving end. If the interception result indicates that the channel is in an occupied state, the transmission end needs to intercept the channel again according to the specified rollback for a period of time until the channel interception result is in an idle state, and then the data can be transmitted to the receiving end.
For the scene that the terminal is switched from the NR-U cell to other cells, the terminal needs to execute channel interception and preemption operation based on an LBT mechanism and report a measurement report when the channel preemption is successful, so that the channel interception and preemption operation can influence the instantaneity of the measurement report.

In addition, the base station may also be an Access Point (AP), a transmission node (Trans TRP), a Central Unit (CU), or other network entity, and may include some or all of the functions of the above network entities. The core network device 105 includes a device on the core network side such as a Serving GateWay (SGW). The related art to which the present application relates is described below.
Currently, as shown in fig. 1B, a main procedure of cell handover performed by a terminal includes: handover preparation, handover execution, and handover completion. The switching preparation means that the source base station configures the terminal to perform measurement reporting, and sends a switching request to the target base station based on a reporting result of the terminal. When the target base station agrees to the handover request, a radio resource control (Radio Resource Control, RRC) message (e.g., mobile control information) is configured for the terminal, including a system message for a random access channel (Random Access Channel, RACH) resource, a cell radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI), a target base station security algorithm, and a target base station. The switching execution comprises the steps that the source base station forwards the mobile control information to the terminal, and the terminal initiates a random access flow to the target base station after receiving a switching command. Meanwhile, the source base station sends a sequence Number status transition (SN STATUS TRANSFER) to the target base station, so as to tell the target base station about the receiving status of the uplink packet data convergence protocol (Packet Data Convergence Protocol, PDCP) Sequence Number (SN) and the sending status of the downlink PDCP SN. The handover completion includes that when the terminal successfully accesses the target base station (random access is successful), the target base station sends a path handover request (PATH SWITCH REQ) to the terminal ST, and requests the mobility management entity (Mobility Management Entity, MME) to switch the downlink path, and after the path handover (path handover) is completed, the target base station instructs the source base station to release the terminal context, and the handover is completed.
For some special scenarios, such as a terminal moving at high speed or under high frequency conditions, frequent handovers are required. The conditional handover (conditional handover) can avoid the problem that the handover preparation time is too long, so that the terminal has passed late when it is to be handed over, and as shown in fig. 1C, a handover command HO command can be configured for the terminal in advance. On the other hand, for the high-speed rail scenario, the moving track of the terminal is specific, so the base station can allocate the target base station to the terminal in advance, and the handover command HO command includes a condition for triggering the terminal to perform handover, and when the allocated condition is satisfied, the terminal initiates an access request to the target base station. Currently 3gpp ran2#104 conferences have agreed to conditional handover and support configuration of multiple target cells in HO command of conditional handover. The terminal determines which target cell to access based on the configured condition.
Dual Connectivity (DC) is an important technology introduced by the 3GPP Release-12 Release. Through the dual connectivity technique, the LTE macro and micro stations can utilize the existing non-ideal backhaul (X2) interface to implement carrier aggregation, thereby providing higher rates for users. The terminal supporting dual connection can be connected with two LTE base stations at the same time, so that the throughput of a single user is increased. In the deployment process of the 5G network, the 5G cell can be used as a macro coverage independent networking, and can also be used as a small station to carry out coverage and capacity enhancement on the existing LTE network. 3GPPRelease-14 defines the dual connectivity technology of LTE and 5G based on the dual connectivity technology of LTE. The LTE/5G dual connection is a key technology for an operator to realize the LTE and 5G converged networking and flexibly deploy scenes. The method can realize rapid deployment based on the existing LTE core network in the early stage of 5G, and can realize comprehensive network coverage through the combined networking of LTE and 5G in the later stage, thereby improving the wireless resource utilization rate of the whole network system, reducing the system switching time delay and improving the user and system performance.
In the 3GPP mobility enhancement problem, an optimization method for reducing the interruption time at the time of handover is proposed, which includes the following two architectures: DC based HO, in the switching, adding a target base station as SN, changing the SN (target base station) into MN by a role change signaling, and finally releasing a source base station so as to achieve the effect of reducing the interruption time in the switching. Based on the existing handover procedure, the UE continues to keep the connection with the source base station while initiating random access to the target base station when receiving the HO command, and does not release the connection with the source base station until the UE completes the access with the target base station.
At present, for the scene that the terminal is switched from an NR-U cell to other cells, the terminal needs to execute channel interception and preemption operation based on an LBT mechanism and report a measurement report when the channel preemption is successful, so that the channel interception and preemption operation can influence the instantaneity of the measurement report. And the terminal sends a measurement report to the base station when the terminal fails to preempt the channel for one or more times until the channel is preempted successfully, and the base station cannot accurately know the generation time of the measurement report at the moment, so that the switching is failed.
In view of the foregoing, embodiments of the present application propose the following embodiments, which are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a method for reporting a measurement report according to an embodiment of the present application, which is applied to the above-mentioned exemplary communication system, and includes:
in 201, the terminal obtains a measurement configuration from the first network device, and performs measurement according to the measurement configuration to obtain a measurement report;
and the terminal specifically performs cell measurement operation to obtain a measurement result when the handover measurement event meets a preset condition, and generates a measurement report according to the measurement result.
In part 202, the terminal sends the measurement report to the first network device and notifies the first network device of the time of generation of the measurement report in a preset manner.
The preset mode is a rule preset by the terminal and the network device, specifically includes a first indication information indication, a second indication information indication, a hidden indication and the like, and is not limited only herein.
The time for generating the measurement report specifically refers to the time when the terminal successfully seizes the channel. In a specific implementation, after receiving the measurement configuration, the terminal continuously monitors the channel quality of the own cell or the neighboring cell, and when the configured measurement event is satisfied (for example, the channel quality of the neighboring cell is higher than a certain threshold value and the channel quality of the own cell is lower than a certain threshold value), the terminal generates a measurement report and reports the measurement report to the base station, before reporting to the base station, the terminal of the NR-U cell needs to monitor the channel first, and if the channel preemption succeeds, the measurement report is considered to be sent in real time.
It can be seen that in the embodiment of the present application, the terminal firstly obtains the measurement configuration from the first network device, performs measurement according to the measurement configuration to obtain a measurement report, and secondly sends the measurement report to the first network device and notifies the first network device of the generation time of the measurement report in a preset manner. Therefore, the terminal can timely inform the first network device of the generation time of the measurement report through a preset mode when sending the measurement report, so that the problem that the terminal cannot accurately determine the generation time of the reported measurement report due to channel preemption failure can be avoided, the timeliness of reporting the measurement report by the terminal can be guaranteed, and the cell switching success rate can be improved.
In one possible example, the terminal sending the measurement report to the first network device and notifying the first network device of the generation time of the measurement report in a preset manner includes: and the terminal only sends the measurement report to the first network equipment, wherein the measurement report carries first indication information, and the first indication information is used for indicating the generation time of the measurement report.
The base station may select a target cell to send a handover request based on the generation time indicated by the first indication information, for example, if the generation time of the measurement report is shorter, the network may consider that the measurement report has real-time performance, perform handover preparation based on the measurement report, and if the generation time of the measurement report is longer, the base station may select to reconfigure the terminal to perform measurement or perform handover preparation according to other auxiliary information of the terminal.
In one possible example, the terminal sending only the measurement report to the first network device includes: the terminal executes channel interception and preemption operation to obtain preemption results; determining that the preemption result is successful in preempting channels, and determining the generation time of the measurement report; carrying first indication information for indicating the generation time in the measurement report; and sending only the measurement report carrying the first indication information to the first network equipment.
For an unlicensed frequency band, such as an LTE LAA unlicensed frequency band, in a channel access procedure of the frequency band, for downlink data transmission, on the unlicensed frequency band, the base station needs to perform channel interception and preemption operations according to an LBT mechanism, where a priority of channel access is determined by the following table:
table 1, (Table 15.1.1-1) channel Access priority classification
Figure GPA0000302586570000051
Figure GPA0000302586570000061
Where mp is related to the listening channel time for performing channel access. Specifically, the base station needs to perform channel listening for Td time first, where td=16us+mp×9us. Cwmin, p and Cwmax, p are related to the random listening channel time during channel access. Specifically, when the base station listens to the Td time channel to be idle, it needs to listen to the channel N times again, each time the duration is 9us. Where N is a random number from 0 to CWp and Cwmin, p < = CWp < = Cwmax, p. Tmcot, p is the longest time that a base station occupies a channel after preempting the channel, and has a relation with the channel priority adopted by the base station, for example, the priority is 1, and after channel interception is successful, the channel is occupied for 2ms at most.
In this example, the terminal needs to monitor and preempt the channel based on the LBT mechanism before sending the measurement report, and under the condition that the terminal fails to preempt the channel, the terminal can monitor and preempt the channel continuously until the channel is preempted, so that the processing duration of the channel monitoring and preempt operation is not fixed, and aiming at the condition that the channel is preempted once, the terminal can determine the first indication information according to the generation time of the measurement report, that is, inform the base station that the measurement report is reported in real time, thereby improving the reporting efficiency and accuracy of the measurement report.
In one possible example, the method further comprises: the terminal determines that the preemption result is that the preemption of the channel fails, and continues to execute channel interception and preemption operation until the preemption of the channel succeeds; determining the time of actually generating the measurement report by the local terminal as the generation time; carrying first indication information for indicating the generation time in the measurement report; and sending only the measurement report carrying the first indication information to the first network equipment.
The time when the home terminal actually generates the measurement report refers to the time when the terminal actually seizes the channel successfully.
In this example, the terminal needs to monitor and preempt the channel based on the LBT mechanism before sending the measurement report, and the terminal can continuously monitor and preempt the channel until the channel is successfully preempted under the condition that the channel is preempted, so that the processing time of the channel monitor and preempt operation is not fixed, and there is a difference according to the actual execution condition, and the first indication information accurately indicates the generation time of the measurement report, so that the situation that the base station cannot accurately locate the generation time of the measurement report due to the fact that the processing time of the channel monitor and preempt operation cannot be determined can be avoided, which is beneficial to improving the accuracy of reporting the measurement report by the terminal and improving the success rate of cell switching.
In one possible example, the method further comprises: the terminal determines that the preemption result is that the preemption of the channel fails, and continues to execute channel interception and preemption operation until the preemption of the channel succeeds; judging whether the measurement configuration is consistent with the measurement result in the measurement report; judging that the measurement configuration is consistent with the measurement result, re-executing the measurement to obtain a new measurement report, and determining the generation time of the new measurement report; carrying first indication information for indicating the generation time in the measurement report; and sending only the new measurement report carrying the first indication information to the first network equipment.
In this example, the terminal may further detect suitability of measurement configuration and measurement results in a scenario that the multiple preemptions are successful, because the terminal may cause a large change in the communication situation of the terminal in the current period due to movement or the like, so by determining whether the measurement results of the measurement configuration and the measurement report are consistent, and re-measuring the latest measurement report under the consistent condition, the problem of inaccurate measurement report caused by processing delay can be avoided, which is beneficial to improving accuracy of the measurement report and success rate of cell handover.
Furthermore, the method comprises the following steps: and the terminal judges that the measurement configuration is inconsistent with the measurement result, and cancels the measurement report of the time. Namely, the environment of the current terminal is not suitable for cell measurement any more, and subsequent operation is not required to be continued, so that the intelligence and the power saving are improved.
In one possible example, the terminal sending the measurement report to the first network device and notifying the first network device of the generation time of the measurement report in a preset manner includes: the terminal sends the measurement report and second indication information to the first network device, wherein the second indication information is used for indicating the generation time of the measurement report.
In this example, the terminal can specifically indicate the generation time of the measurement report through the special second indication information while reporting the measurement report, so that the situation that the base station cannot accurately know the generation time of the measurement report due to the LBT processing delay of the terminal and the like can be avoided, and therefore cell handover and the like can be accurately performed, and the reporting accuracy of the measurement report and the success rate of cell handover can be improved.
In one possible example, the terminal sending the measurement report and second indication information to the first network device includes: the terminal executes channel interception and preemption operation to obtain preemption results; determining that the preemption result is successful in preempting channels, determining the generation time of the measurement report, and determining second indication information for indicating the generation time; and sending the measurement report and the second indication information to the first network equipment.
In this example, before reporting the measurement report, the terminal may perform channel interception and preemption according to the LBT mechanism, and for a scenario of successful preemption, the terminal may send the measurement report and the second indication information at the same time, so that the base station determines the current generation time of the measurement report according to the second indication information, thereby performing communication in a corresponding period, and improving the reporting accuracy of the measurement report and the success rate of cell handover.
In one possible example, the method further comprises: the terminal determines that the preemption result is that the preemption of the channel fails, and continues to execute channel interception and preemption operation until the preemption of the channel succeeds; determining the time of actually generating the measurement report by the local terminal as the generation time, and determining second indication information for indicating the generation time; and sending the measurement report and the second indication information to the first network equipment.
In this example, the terminal fails to preempt the channel, and the processing delay makes the reporting of the measurement report no longer have real-time performance, so that the reporting event of the measurement report is accurately recorded through the second indication information, the situation that the base station cannot accurately locate the generation time due to the processing delay of the terminal can be avoided, the base station can accurately locate the time period of the terminal preempting the channel resource according to the second indication information, and effectively communicate in the corresponding time period, thereby improving the reporting accuracy of the measurement report and the success rate of cell switching.
In one possible example, the method further comprises: the terminal determines that the preemption result is that the preemption of the channel fails, and continues to execute channel interception and preemption operation until the preemption of the channel succeeds; judging whether the measurement configuration is consistent with the measurement result in the measurement report; determining that the measurement configuration is consistent with the measurement result, re-executing measurement to obtain a new measurement report, determining the generation time of the new measurement report, and determining second indication information for indicating the generation time; and sending the measurement report and the second indication information to the first network equipment.
In this example, the terminal may further detect suitability of measurement configuration and measurement results in a scenario that the multiple preemptions are successful, because the terminal may cause a large change in local communication conditions in the current period due to movement or other reasons, so by determining whether the measurement configuration is consistent with the measurement results of the measurement report, and re-measuring the latest measurement report under the consistent condition, the problem of inaccurate measurement report caused by processing delay can be avoided, which is beneficial to improving accuracy of the measurement report and success rate of cell handover.
In one possible example, the terminal sending the measurement report to the first network device and notifying the first network device of the generation time of the measurement report in a preset manner includes: the terminal obtains measurement configuration from first network equipment, and performs measurement according to the measurement configuration to obtain a measurement report; and sending only the measurement report to the first network equipment, wherein the measurement report is used for determining that the measurement report is reported in real time when the first network equipment receives the measurement report.
In one possible example, the terminal sending only the measurement report to the first network device includes: the terminal executes channel interception and preemption operation to obtain preemption results; determining that the preemption result is successful in preempting channels, and determining that the measurement report only carries measurement results; only the measurement report is sent to the first network device.
In this example, the terminal may directly determine that the measurement report is sent in real time according to the situation that the terminal only receives the measurement report by only sending the measurement report that does not carry any indication information of generation time, so that the method does not need any indication information, and is simple and efficient.
In one possible example, the method further comprises: the terminal determines that the preemption result is that the preemption of the channel fails, and continues to execute channel interception and preemption operation until the preemption of the channel succeeds; and carrying first indication information in the measurement report, and sending the measurement report carrying the first indication information to the first network equipment, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating the generation time of the measurement report.
In one possible example, the method further comprises: the terminal determines that the preemption result is that the preemption of the channel fails, and continues to execute channel interception and preemption operation until the preemption of the channel succeeds; and sending the measurement report and second indication information to the first network equipment, wherein the second indication information is used for indicating the generation time of the measurement report.
In this example, the terminal can specifically indicate the generation time of the measurement report through the special second indication information while reporting the measurement report, so that the situation that the base station cannot accurately know the generation time of the measurement report due to the processing delay of the terminal and the like can be avoided, the base station can accurately locate the time period when the terminal occupies the channel resource, and therefore the cell switching and the like can be accurately completed through communication, and the reporting accuracy of the measurement report and the cell switching success rate can be improved.
In one possible example, the method further comprises: the terminal determines that the preemption result is that the preemption of the channel fails, and continues to execute channel interception and preemption operation until the preemption of the channel succeeds; judging whether the measurement configuration is consistent with the measurement result in the measurement report; judging that the measurement configuration is consistent with the measurement result, re-executing the measurement to obtain a new measurement report, and determining that the new measurement report only carries the new measurement result; only the new measurement report is sent to the first network device.
In one possible example, the second indication information includes any one of the following: radio resource control, RRC, signaling, medium access control, control units, MAC CE, and uplink control information, UCI.
In one possible example, the first network device comprises a new wireless NR unlicensed NR-U cell and the second network device comprises any one of: NR-U cell, NR cell, long term evolution LTE cell, primary and secondary cells PScell in dual connectivity scenario.
In one possible example, the measurement report is for the first network device to: when the measurement result in the measurement report is detected to meet a preset switching condition, a switching request is sent to second network equipment, a switching response from the second network equipment is received, and a switching command is sent to the terminal;
after the terminal sends the measurement report to the first network device and notifies the first network device of the generation time of the measurement report in a preset manner, the method further includes: and the terminal receives the switching command from the first network equipment and initiates a random access flow to the second network equipment according to the switching command.
Further description is provided below in connection with specific scenario examples.
