The DG-3S epoxy glue is mainly characterized by high consistency and extremely weak fluidity at normal temperature. The commonly used method is that the DG-3S epoxy glue solution is picked up by a plastic glue stick and is placed into the electric connector base. Such operation is not only inefficient, but also prone to sticking to the external conductors of the electrical connector, creating an excess of material, which can reduce the performance of the wiring harness.

In some embodiments, in the electrical connector potting device, the pinhole aperture of the needle 1 of the glue injector 2 is 1.5 mm. In some embodiments, the clamping structure includes a clamping member 306 and a mounting hole 305, the mounting hole 305 is formed at a clamping portion of the air collection nozzle 3, the clamping member passes through the mounting hole 305, and when the clamping portion of the air collection nozzle 3 is sleeved outside a muzzle of the heat gun, an inner end portion of the clamping member 306 abuts against the muzzle of the heat gun, so as to fix the clamping portion of the air collection nozzle 3 to the muzzle of the heat gun.
Specifically, the clip 306 is operated to pass through the mounting hole 305 and abut against the outer wall of the muzzle of the heat gun, so that the air collecting nozzle 3 and the muzzle of the heat gun can be fixed together. The clamping part of the air collecting nozzle can be arranged at the rear end of the air collecting nozzle.
In some embodiments, in the electrical connector encapsulating device, the outer end of the clamping member 306 protrudes out of the mounting hole 305. When the air collecting nozzle 3 needs to be detached from the hot air gun, the clamping piece 306 can be pulled, the clamping piece 306 is pulled out from the mounting hole 305, and the air collecting nozzle 3 can be taken down at the moment. Specifically, the bolt is installed to the installation hole, the length of the bolt is slightly longer than that of the installation hole, the bolt is matched with the threads of the installation hole, the bolt is screwed down and props against the outer wall of a gun opening of the hot air gun, and the air collecting nozzle is installed with the hot air gun into a whole. And (3) starting the hot air gun, and enabling the heat to reach the surface of the glue solution through the air outlet of the air collecting nozzle, so that the glue solution can flow under heating.
In summary, the electrical connector potting device provided by the embodiment of the invention can improve the potting efficiency of the electrical connector, so that the potting process is simple and easy to operate, and can prevent the glue solution from being bonded on the external wires of the electrical connector in the potting process, thereby preventing the performance of the wiring harness from being damaged.
A specific implementation scenario is provided below to illustrate the working process of the electrical connector potting apparatus provided in the embodiment of the present invention.

After two components of the DG-3S epoxy glue are fully mixed, according to the proportion of the components, the heating temperature which is favorable for the DG-3S epoxy glue to flow is selected, a hot air gun is adjusted to the temperature, and the DG-3S mixed glue solution is heated at a position which is 20mm away from the glue solution. After the glue solution starts to flow, the glue solution can be poured into the injection cylinder 2.
The front end of the syringe 201 is fitted with a wide-mouthed needle 1, thus forming a complete glue injector 2. The wide-mouth needle 1 is aligned to the base of the electric connector to be filled with glue, and the injection tube push rod 202 is pushed until the glue is extruded from the needle 1. According to the scale on the injection tube 201, the required glue amount is extruded to the elastic micro-rectangular electric connector base.
The air collecting nozzle 3 is sleeved to the gun mouth of the hot air gun, the bolt penetrates through the mounting hole and is screwed tightly, and therefore the air collecting nozzle 3 and the gun mouth of the hot air gun are stably connected together. After the temperature of the hot air gun is adjusted to be suitable for the flowing temperature of the DG-3S epoxy glue, the air collecting nozzle 3 is close to the elastic micro-rectangular electric connector base, the DG-3S epoxy glue is heated at a position 10mm away from the elastic micro-rectangular electric connector base, and the heating can be stopped after the glue solution is filled in the base.

Claims (9)
1. An electrical connector potting apparatus, comprising:
glue solution injector and hot air supply device.
2. The electrical connector potting apparatus of claim 1, wherein a pinhole aperture of a needle of the glue injector is 1.5 mm.
3. The electrical connector potting apparatus of claim 1, wherein the hot air supply means comprises a hot air gun and a collection nozzle, wherein the collection nozzle is disposed on a muzzle of the hot air gun.
4. The electrical connector potting apparatus of claim 3, wherein an aperture of an air outlet of the air collection nozzle is 5 mm.
5. The electrical connector potting device of claim 4, wherein the air collection nozzle comprises a cylindrical air collection nozzle body, a conical transition section and a cylindrical air outlet end which are connected in sequence, and the air outlet of the air collection nozzle is formed at the cylindrical air outlet end.
6. The electrical connector potting apparatus of claim 3, wherein the air collection nozzle is detachably sleeved on the muzzle of the heat gun by a clamping structure.
7. The electrical connector filling and sealing device as claimed in claim 6, wherein the clamping structure comprises a clamping member and a mounting hole, the mounting hole is formed at the clamping portion of the air collection nozzle, the clamping member passes through the mounting hole, and when the clamping portion of the air collection nozzle is sleeved outside the muzzle of the heat gun, the inner end portion of the clamping member abuts against the muzzle of the heat gun, so as to fix the clamping portion of the air collection nozzle to the muzzle of the heat gun.
8. The electrical connector potting apparatus of claim 7, wherein outer ends of said snap members project outside of said mounting holes.
9. The electrical connector potting apparatus of claim 7, wherein the mounting holes are screw holes and the snap members are bolts threadedly coupled to the mounting holes.
