The positive terminal comprises a positive connecting piece and a positive pressing plate, the cover plate comprises a first surface and a second surface which are oppositely arranged, the positive pressing plate is directly fixed on the first surface and is electrically connected with the cover plate, and the positive connecting piece is directly fixed on the second surface and is electrically connected with the cover plate. The invention also provides a battery applying the cover plate component.

In the market environment, batteries with low cost, high efficiency and high shell voltage consistency will become the mainstream of the future market.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the present invention is directed to a cover plate assembly and a battery using the same, which have simple structure, convenient processing and reasonable design.
The embodiment of the invention provides a cover plate assembly which comprises a cover plate and a positive terminal. The positive terminal comprises a positive connecting piece and a positive pressing plate, the cover plate comprises a first surface and a second surface which are oppositely arranged, the positive pressing plate is directly fixed on the first surface and is electrically connected with the cover plate, and the positive connecting piece is directly fixed on the second surface and is electrically connected with the cover plate.
In some embodiments, the cover plate assembly further comprises a negative terminal comprising a rivet, a negative connection piece, an insulator, and a negative pressure plate, the rivet sequentially penetrating through the negative connection piece, the cover plate, the insulator, and the negative pressure plate and electrically connecting the negative connection piece and the negative pressure plate.
In some embodiments, the cover plate assembly further comprises a bracket disposed on the second surface between the negative connection tab and the cover plate, the rivet extending through the bracket.
In some embodiments, the bracket, the cover plate, and the insulating member define a through hole through which the rivet passes, and the negative terminal further includes a sealing member disposed between the rivet and a sidewall of the through hole.

Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a cover plate assembly 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a cover plate 10, and a positive terminal 30 and a negative terminal 50 disposed on the cover plate 10. The positive and negative terminals 30 and 50 are disposed adjacent to opposite ends of the cap plate 10, respectively.
The cover plate 10 has a substantially rectangular plate shape and includes a first surface 11 and a second surface 13 which are oppositely disposed. The positive terminal 30 includes a positive connection piece 31 and a positive pressure plate 33. The positive electrode tab 31 is directly fixed to the second surface 13 and electrically connected to the cap plate 10 for introducing or discharging current of the electrode assembly in the battery. The positive electrode pressure plate 33 is directly fixed to the first surface 11 and electrically connected to the cap plate 10 for introducing or discharging the current of the battery. The cover plate 10, the positive electrode connecting piece 31, and the positive electrode pressing plate 33 are all made of a conductive material, for example, metal. The positive electrode connecting piece 31 and the positive electrode pressure plate 33 may be fixed to the cover plate 10 by welding.
The negative terminal 50 includes a rivet 51, a negative connection piece 53, an insulator 55, and a negative pressure plate 56. The negative connection piece 53 is disposed on the second surface 13. The insulating member 55 is disposed on the first surface 11. The negative pressure plate 56 is arranged on the side of the insulating member 55 facing away from the cover plate 10. The rivet 51 penetrates the negative connection tab 53, the insulator 55, and the negative pressure plate 56 in this order, and electrically connects the negative connection tab 53 and the negative pressure plate 56. The rivet 51 is riveted to the negative electrode pressure plate 56. The rivet 51, the negative electrode connection piece 53, and the negative electrode pressing plate 56 are made of a conductive material, for example, metal. In the present embodiment, the cover plate 10, the positive electrode pressing plate 33, and the negative electrode pressing plate 56 are made of aluminum, and the positive electrode connecting piece 31, the negative electrode connecting piece 53, and the rivet 51 are made of red copper. Optionally, the outer surface of the rivet 51 is provided with a nickel plating layer (not shown). The insulator 55 is made of a high temperature resistant, corrosion resistant material, such as plastic. The insulating member 55 electrically insulates the negative electrode pressing plate 56 from the cap plate 10.
The cover plate assembly 100 also includes a bracket 40. The bracket 40 is provided on the second surface 13 for supporting the cover plate 10. The bracket 40 is located between the negative electrode connecting piece 53 and the lid plate 10.
The bracket 40, the cover plate 10 and the insulating member 55 are provided with through holes (not shown) for passing the rivets 51 therethrough. The negative terminal 50 further includes a sealing member 57, and the sealing member 57 is disposed between the rivet 51 and the sidewall of the through-hole such that the rivet 51 is hermetically connected to the insulating member 55, the cap plate 10, the bracket 40, and the negative connection tab 53. The sealing member 57 is made of a high temperature resistant, corrosion resistant insulating material, for example, plastic, to electrically insulate the rivet 51 from the cap plate 10. Alternatively, the seal 57 is formed by injection molding.
The first surface 11 is stamped to form two first recesses 112 and one second recess 113. Between the two first recesses 112 there is a protrusion 114. The positive pressure plate 33 crosses the protrusion 114 and is fixed in the two first grooves 112, and the insulating member 55 is received in the second groove 113 such that the positive pressure plate 33 and the negative pressure plate 56 are flush in the height direction of the cap assembly 100. Further, the insulating member 55 is formed with a receiving groove (not shown) in which the negative pressing plate 56 is received.
When the first groove 112 and the second groove 113 are formed by punching, the second surface 13 is formed with a first protrusion (not shown) corresponding to the first groove 112 and a second protrusion (not shown) corresponding to the second groove 113, respectively. The positive connecting piece 31 is correspondingly arranged on the first protrusion, and the negative connecting piece 53 is correspondingly arranged on the second protrusion.
Further, the cover plate 10 is provided with a mounting hole (not shown). The cover plate assembly 100 further includes an explosion-proof valve sheet 81, and the explosion-proof valve sheet 81 is disposed in the mounting hole and closes the mounting hole. When the internal pressure of the battery is too high, the explosion-proof valve plate 81 explodes to reduce the internal pressure of the battery.
Further, the cover plate assembly 100 further includes a protective sheet 85. The protection sheet 85 is disposed on the cover plate 10 corresponding to the anti-explosion valve sheet 81, and is used for protecting the anti-explosion valve sheet 81.
Furthermore, the cover plate 10 is provided with a liquid injection hole 15. The electrolyte is injected into the battery through the injection hole 15.
When the positive terminal 30 and the cover plate 10 are assembled, the positive connection piece 31 and the positive pressure plate 33 are directly welded to the cover plate 10, and the assembly is completed. When the negative terminal 50 and the cover plate 10 are assembled, the rivet 51 is arranged at the lowest surface, the negative connecting sheet 53, the bracket 40, the cover plate 10 and the insulating member 55 are sequentially sleeved in the rivet, and the rivet is punched and riveted on the negative pressure plate 56, so that the assembly is completed.
In the invention, the positive connecting sheet 31 and the positive pressure plate 33 of the positive terminal 30 are directly fixed on the cover plate 10 and are electrically connected with the cover plate 10, the structure is simple, and the consistency of the shell voltage is high; all the accessories are sequentially connected in series by the rivet 51 of the negative terminal 50 and are punched and riveted, so that the operation is convenient and fast, and the working efficiency is improved; meanwhile, most parts are stamping parts, so that the processing is convenient and the cost is lower.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides a battery, which includes a cap plate assembly 100, an electrode assembly, and a case.
The electrode assembly comprises a positive pole piece, a negative pole piece and a diaphragm, wherein the diaphragm is arranged between the positive pole piece and the negative pole piece. The positive electrode tab, the separator, and the negative electrode tab may be sequentially stacked and wound to form a jelly-roll type electrode assembly; or the positive electrode tab, the separator, and the negative electrode tab may be sequentially stacked to form a laminated electrode assembly.
The case forms a receiving chamber therein to receive the electrode assembly and the electrolyte. One end of the case forms an opening, and the electrode assembly may be placed into the receiving cavity of the case through the opening. The housing may be made of a conductive metal material such as aluminum or aluminum alloy, or may be made of an insulating material such as plastic.
The cap assembly 100 is fixed to the case and covers the opening of the case, thereby enclosing the electrode assembly within the case. The positive electrode tab 31 and the negative electrode tab 53 are electrically connected to the positive electrode tab and the negative electrode tab, respectively.

6. The cover assembly of claim 2, wherein the negative pressure plate and the positive pressure plate are flush in a height direction of the cover assembly.

The cover plate assembly of claim 6, wherein the first surface is stamped to form two first grooves and a second groove, a protrusion is disposed between the two first grooves, the positive pressure plate spans the protrusion and is fixedly disposed in the two first grooves, and the insulating member is received in the second groove.
8. The cover plate assembly of claim 1, wherein the positive connector tab and the positive pressure plate are connected to the cover plate by welding.
