Abstract

A cleaning tool includes a base plate configured to enable attachment of a disposable cleaning sheet, the base plate having a top surface with oppositely disposed front and rear surface portions; a retaining mechanism adapted to releasably retain the disposable cleaning sheet on the base plate, the retaining mechanism comprising a clip disposed on the top surface, the clip having first and second side portions spaced apart from one another and front and rear portions extending between the first and second side portions, the first side portion being hinged to the top surface and the second side portion being releasably engaged to the top surface; the clamp is movable from a first position to a second position; in the first position, the front and rear portions of the grip member are capable of gripping respective portions of the disposable cleaning sheet at the front and rear surface portions of the top surface, respectively; in the second position, the disposable cleaning sheet is releasable from the substrate.

As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the cleaning tool includes a substrate 1 and a holding mechanism 2. A disposable cleaning cloth 3 can be attached to the bottom surface of the base plate 1. In order to make the disposable cleaning cloth 3 more securely held on the base plate 1, the top surface 11 is provided with a locking member 22, which locking member 22 forms part of the holding mechanism 2, the locking member 22 being configured to be frictionally engaged with the second side portion 212 of the holder 21 to hold the holder 21 in the first position. Specifically, the locking member 22 includes a protrusion 221 disposed on an inner side wall of the groove 113, the protrusion 221 has an outer surface, when the clamping member 21 is located in the first position, the outer surface of the protrusion 221 can be in frictional contact with the second side portion 212 of the clamping member 21, so as to more firmly limit the clamping member 21 in the groove 113, a user needs to apply a greater dragging force to release the clamping member 21 from the groove 113, and a situation that the user releases the clamping member 21 in advance or releases the disposable cleaning portion due to a wrong operation during use can be avoided. The outer surface of the projection 221 is partially designed as an arc-shaped surface so that the second side portion 212 facilitates the movement of the clamping member 21 from the first position to the second position when sliding along the arc-shaped surface.
To facilitate user manipulation of the clip 21, the second side portion 212 of the clip 21 includes an upwardly arched projection 215, and a user can apply a force to the projection 215 to overcome the frictional engagement between the locking member 22 and the second side portion 212 of the clip 21.
In other embodiments, rather than providing a recess in the top surface of the substrate to retain the clamp in the first position and transition from the first position to the second position, a member such as a snap or jaw may be provided on the top surface to secure or release the clamp so that the clamp engages or releases the top surface of the substrate. The locking member is not limited to a structure in which a projection is provided in a groove of the base plate, i.e., a snap-fit type, and may be designed to have a structure such as a latch for holding the clip member on the base plate.

1. A cleaning implement, comprising:
a base plate (1), said base plate (1) being configured to enable attachment of a disposable cleaning sheet, said base plate (1) having a top surface (11), said top surface (11) having oppositely disposed front (111) and rear (112) surface portions;
a retaining mechanism (2) adapted to releasably retain said disposable cleaning sheet on said substrate (1), said retaining mechanism (2) comprising a clip member (21) disposed on said top surface (11), said clip member (21) having first (211) and second (212) side portions spaced apart from one another and front (213) and rear (214) portions extending between said first (211) and second (212) side portions, said first side portion (211) being hingedly connected to said top surface (11), said second side portion (212) being releasably engaged to said top surface (11); the clamping piece (21) can move from a first position to a second position; in the first position, the front (213) and rear (214) portions of the grip (21) are capable of gripping respective portions of the disposable cleaning sheet at the front (111) and rear (112) surface portions of the top surface (11), respectively; in the second position, the disposable cleaning sheet is releasable from the substrate (1).
2. The cleaning implement of claim 1, wherein: the clamping piece (21) is of an integrated structure.
3. The cleaning implement of claim 1, wherein: the clamping piece (21) is of a rectangular annular structure.
4. The cleaning implement of claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein: the clamping piece (21) is a metal piece.
5. The cleaning implement of claim 4, wherein: the clamping piece (21) is formed by bending a metal wire.
6. The cleaning implement of claim 1, wherein: the top surface (11) is provided with a groove (113); in the first position, at least part of the clamping member (21) is clamped in the groove (113).
7. The cleaning implement of claim 1, wherein: a locking member (22) is disposed on the top surface (11), the locking member (22) being configured to frictionally engage the second side portion (212) to retain the clamp (21) in the first position.
8. The cleaning implement of claim 7, wherein: the locking member (22) comprises at least one projection (221), said projection (221) having an outer surface, said outer surface of said projection (221) being configured to frictionally abut said second side portion (212) when said clamp (21) is in said first position.
9. The cleaning implement of claim 8, wherein: at least part of the outer surface of the bump (221) is an arc surface; the second side portion (212) slides along the arcuate surface when the clamp (21) is moved from the first position to the second position.
10. The cleaning implement of claim 7, wherein: the second side portion (212) includes an upwardly arched projection (215), and a user can apply a force to the projection (215) to overcome the frictional engagement.
11. The cleaning implement of claim 1, wherein: the substrate (1) has a bottom surface (12) opposite the top surface (11), the bottom surface (12) being substantially flat.
