Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of display technologies, and in particular, to an identifier display method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium.
Background
At present, a 5G mobile phone gradually supports dual-card 5G, that is, two SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) cards in the mobile phone can simultaneously use 5G network for communication.
However, since the network where the SIM card is located may change, the state of whether the SIM card can use the 5G network for communication may also change, for example, when the SIM card is located in a 3G network, the 5G network cannot be used for communication, and the 3G network needs to be used for communication.
In order to enable a user to intuitively determine the network which can be used by each SIM card for communication, the identifier of the network where the SIM card is located may be displayed on the mobile phone for each SIM card, for example, a 5G identifier is displayed when the SIM card can use 5G network communication, and a 4G identifier is displayed when the SIM card can only use 4G network communication.
However, due to the configuration problem of the network where the SIM card is located, a situation may occur where the network can provide the 5G communication capability, but the SIM card does not know that the network can provide the 5G communication capability, so that the 5G identifier cannot be displayed correctly.

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating a method of displaying an identifier according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The identifier display method shown in this embodiment may be applied to a terminal, where the terminal includes but is not limited to an electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, and a wearable device, and the terminal may be used as a user equipment to communicate with a base station, where the base station includes but is not limited to a base station in a communication system such as 4G, 5G, and 6G.
In one embodiment, the terminal may be provided with a plurality of SIM cards, and the SIM cards may be conventional SIM cards, or may be eSIM cards, that is, embedded SIM cards.
For example, taking an example that a first SIM card and a second SIM card are provided in a terminal, the terminal may select any one of the SIM cards as a primary SIM card, and the other SIM card as a secondary SIM card, and both the first SIM card and the second SIM card may be used as the primary SIM card and may also be used as the secondary SIM card, and may switch between the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card, which is specifically determined according to the selection of the terminal.
The primary SIM card in the subsequent embodiments is not specific to a certain SIM card in the terminal, and may be, for example, the first SIM card or the second SIM card, and correspondingly, the secondary SIM card is not specific to a certain SIM card in the terminal, and may be, for example, the first SIM card or the second SIM card.
For example, when the terminal selects the first SIM card as the primary SIM card and the second SIM card as the secondary SIM card, the first SIM card may use data traffic, and the second SIM card may not use data traffic.
Taking a 5G network in which the terminal is in a Non-independent networking (NSA for short), the network may allocate a 5G secondary cell to the primary SIM card, but may not allocate a 5G secondary cell to the secondary SIM card, and the system information block SIB2 broadcasted by the cell in which the secondary SIM card is located may not carry the 5G identifier, in which case, the terminal considers that the secondary SIM card has no 5G communication capability, and therefore, the 5G identifier may not be displayed for the secondary SIM card, for example, only the 4G identifier may be displayed.
However, in some cases, the cell where the secondary SIM card is located is not configured with a 5G secondary cell, and the broadcasted SIM card 2 does not carry a 5G identity, but this is not because there is no 5G cell around the cell, but because for the cell where the secondary SIM card is located, the network does not configure the 5G cell as a 5G secondary cell, once the secondary SIM card becomes the primary SIM card, even if the cell where the secondary SIM card is located does not change, the network can configure the 5G secondary cell for the cell, and the SIM card 2 broadcasted by the cell also carries a 5G identity.
Therefore, in this case, the cell where the secondary SIM card is located is capable of providing 5G communication capability, and the secondary SIM card has 5G communication capability, but the secondary SIM card does not know that the cell where the secondary SIM card is located is capable of providing 5G communication capability due to network configuration reasons, so that the terminal does not display a 5G identifier for the secondary SIM card, and thus the user may mistakenly think that the secondary SIM card does not have 5G communication capability.
In one embodiment, in the case where a primary SIM card and a secondary SIM card are provided in the terminal, as shown in fig. 1, the method may include the steps of:
in step S101, a first cell in which the primary SIM card currently resides and a second cell in which the secondary SIM card currently resides are determined;
in step S102, in response to displaying a 5G identity for the primary SIM card, determining whether the first cell and the second cell are the same cell;
in step S103, in response to that the first cell and the second cell are the same cell, a 5G identifier is displayed for the secondary SIM card.
In one embodiment, a first cell in which the primary SIM card currently resides may be determined first, and a second cell in which the secondary SIM card currently resides may be determined, where the terminal displays a 5G identity for the primary SIM card, it may be determined that the first cell in which the primary SIM card currently resides is capable of providing a 5G communication capability, it may be determined whether the first cell and the second cell are the same cell, and if the first cell and the second cell are the same cell, the second cell is also capable of necessarily providing a 5G communication capability, so that the 5G identity may be displayed for the secondary SIM card to indicate that the secondary SIM card residing in the second cell has a 5G communication capability.
For the first cell, although the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card both reside in the cell, since the primary SIM card can use data traffic, the network may configure a 5G secondary cell for the cell with respect to the primary SIM card, and the secondary SIM card cannot use data traffic, so the network may not configure a 5G secondary cell for the cell with respect to the primary SIM card, and the SIB2 broadcasted by the cell to the secondary SIM card may not carry a 5G identifier, so when the cell is not a 5G cell of an independent network (SA), for example, a 5G cell of NSA or a pure 4G cell, in the related art, the terminal may only display a 4G identifier with respect to the secondary SIM card, and may not display the 5G identifier.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, under the condition that the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card currently reside in the same cell, if the terminal displays a 5G identifier for the primary SIM card, it may be determined that the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card currently reside in the cell and can provide a 5G communication capability, and then both the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card have the 5G communication capability, so the terminal may display the 5G identifier for the secondary SIM card. Therefore, the problem that the secondary SIM card does not know that the second cell can provide the 5G communication capability due to the network configuration problem is solved, and the terminal does not accurately display the 5G identification aiming at the secondary SIM card, so that the terminal is favorable for ensuring that a user accurately determines whether the secondary SIM card has the 5G communication capability according to the displayed identification.
In one embodiment, the identifiers displayed by the terminal for the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card, including but not limited to a 5G identifier, a 4G identifier, a 3G identifier, a 2G identifier, and the like, may be displayed in the upper right corner or the upper left corner of the terminal screen. For example, as shown in fig. 2, the identifier in the dotted line may be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen, and 5G identifiers are displayed for both the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card, indicating that both the cell where the primary SIM card is located and the cell where the secondary SIM card is located can provide 5G communication capability.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating another method of indicia display in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 3, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, the method further comprises:
in step S301, capability information of a cell where the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card reside is recorded, where the capability information is used to indicate whether the cell where the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card reside can provide 5G communication capability.
In step S302, in response to that the primary SIM card currently resides in the first cell and the capability information of the first cell is recorded, it is determined whether to display a 5G identifier for the primary SIM card according to the capability information of the first cell.
In one embodiment, for a cell in which the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card have resided, the terminal may record capability information of the cell, and the capability information may indicate whether the camped cell can provide 5G communication capability.
In one embodiment, the capability information includes at least one of:
whether the resident cell is a cell in a 5G network of an independent network;
whether the system information block SIB2 broadcasted by the resident cell carries a 5G identifier;
whether the camped cell is assigned a 5G secondary cell.
If the resident cell is a cell in a 5G network of independent networking, 5G communication capability can be provided; if the system information block SIB2 broadcasted by the resident cell carries the 5G identification, the 5G communication capability can be provided; if the camped cell is assigned a 5G secondary cell, then 5G communication capability can be provided.
Further, in the case that the primary SIM card currently resides in the first cell and the capability information of the first cell is recorded, the terminal may determine whether to display the 5G identifier for the primary SIM card according to the capability information of the first cell, for example, if it is determined that the first cell can provide 5G communication capability according to the capability information of the first cell, the 5G identifier may be displayed for the primary SIM card.
Accordingly, when the main SIM card does not use data traffic, for example, in a non-connected state, even if the network does not allocate a 5G secondary cell to the first cell, it can be determined whether the first cell can provide 5G communication capability according to the recorded capability information, so as to determine whether the main SIM card residing in the first cell has 5G communication capability, and further accurately display the corresponding identifier for the main SIM card.
Fig. 4 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating yet another method of displaying an identifier according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 4, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, the recording capability information of the cells in which the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card reside includes:
in step S401, recording the type of the network to which the camped cell belongs;
in step S402, in response to the type being the independently networked 5G network, determining that the camped cell is a cell in the independently networked 5G network;
in step S403, in response to the 5G network of which the type is non-independent networking, it is recorded whether a 5G identifier is carried in the SIB2 broadcasted by the camped cell and whether the camped cell is allocated with a 5G secondary cell.
In one embodiment, in order to record the capability information, the type of the network to which the cell resides may be recorded, and the type may be multiple, for example, a 3G network, a 4G network, a independently networked 5G network, a non-independently networked 5G network, and the like, and for the 3G network, the 4G network, and the like, the cell cannot necessarily provide the 5G communication capability, so the present embodiment mainly considers two cases of the independently networked 5G network and the non-independently networked 5G network.
When the type is the independent networking 5G network, it may be determined that the capability information of the camped cell is the cell in the independent networking 5G network, that is, the capability of providing 5G communication is provided.
When the type is a non-independent networking 5G network, a further judgment is needed for such a situation, and the non-independent networking 5G network is generally an endec dual-connection network, which is a network built based on a 4G network, and can continuously provide 4G communication capability, and in some cases, can provide 5G communication capability.
In order to determine whether the mobile terminal can provide 5G communication capability, it may be determined whether SIB2 broadcasted by the camped cell carries a 5G identifier, and if the SIB2 broadcasted by the camped cell carries the 5G identifier, it may be determined that the capability information of the camped cell is that the system information block SIB2 broadcasted by the camped cell carries the 5G identifier, that is, the mobile terminal can provide 5G communication capability; it may also be determined whether the camped cell is allocated with the 5G secondary cell, and if the camped cell is allocated with the 5G secondary cell, it may be determined that the capability information of the camped cell is that the camped cell is allocated with the 5G secondary cell, that is, the capability of providing 5G communication is provided.
Fig. 5 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating yet another method of displaying an identifier according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 5, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, the determining whether to display a 5G identity for the primary SIM card according to the capability information includes:
in step S501, in response to that the first cell is a cell in a 5G network of an independent networking, and/or that the SIB2 broadcasted by the first cell carries a 5G identifier, and/or that the camped cell is allocated with a 5G secondary cell, it is determined to display the 5G identifier for the primary SIM card.
In an embodiment, in the case that the first cell is a cell in a 5G network of an independent networking, or in the case that the SIB2 broadcasted by the first cell carries a 5G identifier, or in the case that a camped cell is allocated with a 5G secondary cell, the first cell can provide 5G communication capability, and thus the 5G identifier can be displayed for the primary SIM card.
Fig. 6 is a schematic flow chart diagram illustrating yet another method of displaying an identifier according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 6, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, the determining whether the first cell and the second cell are the same cell comprises:
in step S601, in response to that the second cell is not a cell in a 5G network of an independent network, and that the SIB2 currently broadcast by the second cell does not carry a 5G identity, and that the second cell is not currently allocated with a 5G secondary cell, it is determined whether the first cell and the second cell are the same cell.
In one embodiment, before determining whether the first cell and the second cell are the same cell, it may be determined whether the second cell is a cell in a 5G network that is not an independent network, whether the SIB2 currently broadcast by the second cell carries a 5G identifier, and whether the second cell is currently allocated with a 5G secondary cell.
If the second cell is a cell in a 5G network of an independent network, or the SIB2 currently broadcast by the second cell carries a 5G identifier, or the second cell is currently allocated with a 5G secondary cell, it may be directly determined that the secondary SIM card has 5G communication capability, and it may not be necessary to determine whether the first cell and the second cell are the same cell, so as to avoid wasting terminal resources.
And when the second cell is not a cell in a 5G network of an independent network, and the SIB2 currently broadcast by the second cell does not carry a 5G identifier, and the second cell is not currently allocated with a 5G secondary cell, further determining whether the first cell and the second cell are the same cell, so as to avoid that the secondary SIM card does not know that the second cell can provide 5G communication capability due to a network configuration problem, and the terminal does not accurately display the 5G identifier for the secondary SIM card.
Corresponding to the embodiment of the mark display method, the disclosure also provides an embodiment of a mark display device.
Fig. 7 is a schematic block diagram illustrating an identification display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The identifier display apparatus shown in this embodiment may be applied to a terminal, where the terminal includes, but is not limited to, an electronic device such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a wearable device, and the like, and the terminal may be used as a user equipment to communicate with a base station, where the base station includes, but is not limited to, a base station in a communication system such as 4G, 5G, and 6G.
In one embodiment, in a case where a primary SIM card and a secondary SIM card are provided in the terminal, as shown in fig. 7, the apparatus may include:
a cell determining module 701 configured to determine a first cell in which the primary SIM card currently resides and a second cell in which the secondary SIM card currently resides;
a same determining module 702 configured to determine whether the first cell and the second cell are the same cell in response to displaying a 5G identity for the primary SIM card;
an identity display module 703 configured to display a 5G identity for the secondary SIM card in response to the first cell and the second cell being the same cell.
Fig. 8 is a schematic block diagram illustrating another identification display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 8, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, the apparatus further comprises:
a capability recording module 801 configured to record capability information of a cell where the primary SIM card and the secondary SIM card reside, wherein the capability information is used to indicate whether the camped cell can provide 5G communication capability;
a display determining module 802, configured to determine whether to display a 5G identifier for the primary SIM card according to the capability information of the first cell in response to the primary SIM card currently residing in the first cell and having recorded the capability information of the first cell.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the capability information includes at least one of:
whether the resident cell is a cell in a 5G network of an independent network;
whether the system information block SIB2 broadcasted by the resident cell carries a 5G identifier;
whether the camped cell is assigned a 5G secondary cell.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the capability recording module is configured to record a type of a network to which the camped cell belongs;
