Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of devices consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for activating a subscriber identity module, which is applied to a mobile terminal and includes:
s110: detecting whether a user identification module to be activated is installed in the mobile terminal; the user identification module supports at least two alternative communication modes;
s120: if the mobile terminal is internally provided with a user identification module to be activated, outputting an activation prompt;
s130: selecting a target communication system from the alternative communication systems according to the first operation returned by the activation prompt;
s140: and executing the activation operation of the user identification module according to the target communication system.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the mobile terminal includes, but is not limited to, at least one of the following electronic devices: the mobile phone, the tablet computer, the wearable device, the vehicle-mounted device or the intelligent device. The smart devices include, but are not limited to: intelligent household equipment and/or intelligent office equipment.
In an embodiment, the mobile terminal may be a multi-card terminal, that is, a terminal capable of installing a plurality of subscriber identity modules, and the terminal may use the activated subscriber identity module to activate the communication function of one or more communication systems supported by the subscriber identity module to be activated through information interaction with the server.
In another embodiment, the mobile terminal may also be a single-card terminal, but the single-card terminal also supports WiFi communication and the like, and after the mobile terminal is connected to a WiFi hotspot, the activation of the communication function of one or more communication systems supported by the to-be-activated subscriber identity module is realized based on information interaction between the WiFi network card and the server.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a mobile terminal connected to a network. In fig. 2, the mobile terminal may include: smart watch 102A, laptop 102B. In the network environment 100, the laptop 102B accesses the network 106 through the WiFi access point 104; smart watch 102A accesses network 106 through base station 105.
An activation component of an application program or an operating system for activating the subscriber identity module may be installed in the mobile terminal.
And when the mobile terminal is started or self-checked or the card slot is detected to have the subscriber identity module inserted, determining whether the subscriber identity module is the subscriber identity module to be activated.
Specifically, how to detect whether a subscriber identity module installed in a mobile terminal is a subscriber identity module to be activated or not can be determined by reading information content written in the corresponding subscriber identity module.
The user activation module can support at least two alternative communication systems, and necessary information for communication corresponding to the alternative communication systems is supported, and is written in the user identification module inevitably. Therefore, the terminal can read information from the corresponding storage area of the subscriber identity module, and analyze whether the corresponding subscriber identity module is a subscriber identity module to be activated according to the read content.
If the activated subscriber identity module is detected, the type of the subscriber identity module to be activated is further identified, for example, if the subscriber identity module to be activated is a subscriber identity module only supporting a single communication system, the prompt information of whether to activate is directly output; based on the confirmation feedback of the prompt message, the activation of the subscriber identity module supporting only a single communication is entered.
For another example, if the subscriber identity module to be activated is a subscriber identity module supporting at least two communication systems, a prompt is output to select a target communication system and an activation prompt for determining whether to activate is determined. For the user feedback of the activation prompt, for example, the alternative communication system selected through the detected user operation is identified as the target communication system, and the user may be identified as the user identification module to be activated when at least one alternative communication system is detected.
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, different alternative communication systems may correspond to different operators, or different communication mechanisms of the same communication operator. For example, TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE of a communication operator are different communication mechanisms of the same operator, and may be considered to correspond to two communication systems.
The to-be-activated subscriber identity module provided by the embodiment of the disclosure can support multiple alternative communication systems (alternative communication systems), so that a user can select a communication system (i.e., a target communication system) desired by the user to activate the subscriber identity module, thereby reducing the phenomenon that the to-be-activated subscriber identity module is discarded because the to-be-activated subscriber identity module does not support the communication system desired by the user.
The subscriber identity module provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure may be various types of subscriber identity modules, including but not limited to: SIM, UIM or Mirco UIM or USIM, etc.
In one embodiment, the subscriber identity module comprises: an addressing bit; the values written in the addressing bits are different, and the communication systems which are currently activated are different in identification; if the addressing bit is written once, the chip of the subscriber identity module protects the writing of the addressing bit through the execution of the preset code, that is, the writing content of the addressing bit cannot be modified at will, so that other communication systems cannot be activated after one communication system is activated. Subsequently, after the subscriber identity module is not activated and put into use, the subscriber identity module determines that the current mobile terminal uses the activated communication system of the subscriber identity module for communication according to the content written in the addressing bit, and reads information necessary for communication from the card information storage area of the target communication system in which the subscriber identity module is activated based on the content written in the addressing bit during communication.
In another embodiment, the subscriber identity module may include a plurality of addressing bits. One addressing bit corresponds to one communication system, and the value of the addressing bit indicates whether the corresponding communication system is activated or not.
Subsequently, when the subscriber identity module communicates, card information required for communication is read from the card information storage area of the corresponding communication system by combining the indication of the addressing bit according to the indication of a Central Processing Unit (CPU) or an Application Processor (AP) in the mobile terminal where the subscriber identity module is located.
For example, information required for wireless communication includes: the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) or short message service center number (SMSP) of the Subscriber identity module corresponding to the activated target communication system. The IMSI may be used for mobile terminal communications for accessing a cellular mobile communications network, and the cellular mobile communications may send a Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity (TMSI) for communications to the mobile terminal based on the IMSI. The SMS P is carried in the short message launched outwards by the mobile terminal, so that the short message is addressed to the corresponding short message gateway and is forwarded through the short message gateway. Generally the SMSP is associated with the location where the mobile terminal is located or the location of the registered party.
In order to ensure communication security, the card information of the subscriber identity module may further include: a key including, but not limited to Ki. The key can be used for encrypting data communicated between the mobile terminal and the network, and the communication safety is ensured.
As shown in fig. 3, the S140 may include:
s141: sending a card writing application according to the writing condition of the card information of the target communication system in the user identification module;
s142: receiving a card writing instruction returned based on the card writing application;
s143 implements activation of the communication function of the target communication system by the subscriber identity module by executing the card writing instruction.
The subscriber identity module to be activated can be classified into the following types according to the writing status of the card information (i.e. card information) written by the subscriber identity module:
card formation, namely, card information required in the communication process of the subscriber identity module to be activated is written, and the subscriber identity module can be directly put into use after being activated (or enabled);
a blank card, that is, only part of card information required in the communication process of the subscriber identity module to be activated is written, and the rest card information which is not written in needs to be written in the activation process of the subscriber identity module;
according to the different card information lacking in the white card, the white card can be divided into a first type of white card with more card information to be written and a second type of white card with less card information to be written.
For example, the first type of white card has a key written in advance for communication, and the key is written in the activation process and needs to be transmitted through a network, which may increase the risk of the key being leaked. The second type of white card has no key written in advance for communication and needs to be written in the process of activation.
Of course, the above is only an example of the card writing status of the to-be-activated subscriber identity module, and the specific implementation is not limited to any one of the above.
And sending a card writing application to the server according to the writing condition of the subscriber identification module to be activated to the card information of the target communication system. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the server may be a provider of the mobile terminal, or a provider of the subscriber identity module to be activated, or a communication carrier. The content carried in the card writing application is related to the card information written in the subscriber identity card to be activated by the target communication system to be activated.
After receiving the card writing instruction, the server returns the card writing instruction; the mobile terminal can at least activate the activated communication function of the target communication system in the user identification module through the execution of the card writing instruction.
In an embodiment, if the target communication systems are different, the card writing applications are different, and the card writing instructions returned corresponding to the card writing applications are also different. Specifically, the card writing commands carry different card information.
Regardless of which alternative communication system is used as the target communication system, the card writing instructions may include an activation instruction, and the card writing instructions are equivalent to enabling (i.e., activating) at least the communication function of the corresponding communication system.
If the card information writing in the subscriber identification module is not complete enough for the target communication mode which needs to be activated by the subscriber identification module, the card writing instruction comprises: card information and activation indication that need to be written. As such, the S143 may include: and writing the card information carried by the card writing instruction into a storage area of the communication system corresponding to the subscriber identification module, and executing the activation instruction after the writing of the card information is finished, so that the communication function of the communication system corresponding to the subscriber identification module is activated.
In one embodiment, the alternative communication indication comprises at least one of:
the user identification module is internally written with a first communication identifier and card information which are communicated by using the first communication system;
the first card identification of the user identification module and the first card information using the second communication system are written in the user identification module;
and in the third communication mode, the first card identifier of the subscriber identification module is written in the subscriber identification module.
The above are three examples of alternative communication systems, and the specific implementation is not limited to this.
In some embodiments, the S141 may include:
if the target communication system is the first communication system, sending a card writing application carrying the first communication identifier to the server;
the S142 may include: and receiving a card writing instruction based on the activation instruction for activating the communication function of the first communication system returned by the card writing application.
Here, all the card information of the first communication system may have been written in the subscriber identity module, and thus, the card writing command may be a card writing command that carries only the activation instruction without carrying the card information.
In one embodiment, the S141 may further include:
if the target communication system is the second communication system or the third communication system, sending a communication identifier acquisition request to the server;
receiving an alternative communication identifier returned by the server;
according to the detected selection operation, determining a target communication identifier from the alternative communication identifiers;
and sending the card writing application carrying the target communication identifier.
In order to save communication identifiers (commonly called mobile phone numbers) of communication in the second communication system and the second communication system, no communication identifier is written in the user identification module, so that an alternative communication identifier which can be used for alternative communication is required to be requested from the server before card writing application. After receiving the alternative communication identifier returned by the server, displaying the alternative communication identifier; and detecting the selection operation of selecting the alternative communication identifier, thereby determining the target communication identifier selected by the user.
In the embodiment of the application, the card writing application at least carries the communication identifier of the target communication system to be activated.
In one embodiment, the target communication identification may include: and the second communication identifier aims at the second communication system and/or the third communication identifier aims at the third communication system.
In one embodiment, the receiving a card writing instruction returned based on the card writing application includes:
receiving a card writing instruction carrying second card information returned based on the card writing application aiming at the target communication system as the second communication system;
the executing the card writing instruction comprises: and writing the second card information into a storage area preset for the second communication system in the user identification module.
For the second communication system, the user identification module already stores the first card information of the second communication system, so the card writing instruction carries the second card information.
Therefore, when the card writing command is executed in S143, the method at least includes: and writing the second card information carried by the card writing instruction into a storage area corresponding to the second communication system.
The memory area may be a memory area in a Flash memory (Flash) located on the subscriber identity module.
In one embodiment, the S142 may include: if the target communication system is the third communication system, receiving a card writing instruction which carries the first opening information and the second card information and is returned based on the card writing application;
the executing the card writing instruction comprises: and writing the first card information and the second card information into a storage area preset for the second communication system in the subscriber identification module.
The degree of card pre-writing (card writing condition) in the subscriber identity module for the third communication system is lower, so that the card writing instruction returned for the third communication system carries more card information content. For example, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the card writing command includes: first card information and second card information. Therefore, when the card writing command is executed in S143, the method at least includes: and respectively writing the first card information and the second card information into a storage area preset for the third communication system by the user identification module.
In some embodiments, the second card information includes: the international mobile subscriber identity code IMSI of the subscriber identity module.
In still other embodiments, the second card information may further include: SMSP.
The SMSP can be distributed according to the position information of the mobile terminal carried by the card writing application, or the SMSP can be distributed after the server analyzes and determines the position of the mobile terminal according to the source address of the data packet of the card writing application.
In another embodiment, the first card information includes at least: a key for communication. The key for communication here includes, but is not limited to, the aforementioned Ki.
In one embodiment, the communication identifier binds to the communication package, so that the selection of the communication package is realized at the same time when the target communication identifier is selected.
In another embodiment, the communication identifier and the communication package may not be bound, so that the server may also issue the information of the communication package, so that the user may choose to complete the subscription of the communication package by activating the user identification module.
In another embodiment, a communication package with a bound communication identifier, but a communication package with a non-bound communication identifier is available, and can be further subscribed for use with a communication package with a bound communication identifier.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the information of the communication package sent by the server is also received and output, so that the user can select the package desired by the user.
In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the communication package includes at least one of:
a flow package, e.g., data that is scheduled to take a total flow provided over a preset time (e.g., 1 month);
