Abstract
A radio frequency identification tag comprises a metal plate and a steel cable, wherein the metal plate comprises a first surface and a second surface which are opposite to each other, the metal plate is provided with at least one punching lug which protrudes from the second surface to the first surface and protrudes from the first surface, and the punching lug and the first surface form a channel; the steel cable is arranged in the channel in a penetrating mode, and the punching lugs and the first surface clamp the steel cable together, so that a part of the steel cable is bent from the first surface to the second surface.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a tag, in particular to a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag.
Background
Generally, in addition to the introduction of the paper or electronic catalog, most of the products on the market today are accompanied by simple text descriptions on their packaging or appearance to facilitate the user's reference and understanding of the features of the product.
However, when the user purchases the product, the packaging material originally covering the product is mostly discarded directly, so that the user cannot know the related information of the product again from the packaging material. To solve this problem, most products with complex structure or outstanding functionality will be attached with paper specification for users to store and look up. However, most users are not easy to properly store the paper specification, and the paper specification cannot be found when the product information needs to be searched in the future.
With the development and progress of electronic technology, some products use electronic tags to allow users to query the relevant information of the products. The common electronic tags include one-dimensional bar codes, two-dimensional bar codes and rfid tags, wherein the one-dimensional bar codes and the two-dimensional bar codes are limited in application range and are easily worn out and cannot be read. The RFID tag can identify the RFID tag and read and write the related information of the product through the radio signal, and the radio signal transmits the product information from the label attached to the product through the modulated electromagnetic field, so as to automatically identify and acquire the related information of the article.
At present, a radio frequency identification tag has a plastic housing and a detachable metal chain, wherein a radio frequency identification antenna is disposed in the plastic housing, and the plastic housing has a closed ring structure, such that one end of the metal chain can pass through the plastic housing and then be connected with the other end of the metal chain to form an annular metal chain ring. The metal chain ring connected with the plastic shell can be sleeved or arranged at a specific part of the product according to requirements. Therefore, the user can simply acquire the relevant information of the product by the RFID tag.
Although the rfid tag can effectively solve the above problems, the conventional rfid tag is easily broken by an external force, so that the rfid tag falls off or is lost. Therefore, there is still a need for solutions to existing rfid tags.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide a rfid tag, which is connected to a rfid tag and a steel cable of a product at two ends thereof, so as to prevent the rfid tag from falling off or losing the product due to being pulled by an external force, thereby improving the problem of the conventional rfid tag.
The present invention provides a radio frequency identification tag, which comprises a metal plate and a steel cable, wherein the metal plate comprises a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, the metal plate has at least one punching lug protruding from the second surface toward the first surface and protruding from the first surface, and the at least one punching lug and the first surface form a channel; and the steel cable penetrates through the channel, and the at least one punching lug and the first surface clamp the steel cable together so that a part of the steel cable is bent from the first surface to the second surface.
The invention has the advantages that the two ends of the wire rope are respectively fixedly connected with the radio frequency identification tag and the product, so that the radio frequency identification tag is prevented from falling off or losing from the product due to the pulling of an external force, and the aim of improving the problems of the traditional radio frequency identification tag is fulfilled. Therefore, the producer can easily and stably connect the RFID tag with the product, and the user can obtain the related information of the product by using the RFID reader.

Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1A and 1B, fig. 1A is a perspective view of a rfid tag 1 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention; FIG. 1B is a cross-sectional view of the RFID tag 1 taken along section line 1B-1B in FIG. 1A.
In fig. 1A and 1B, a radio frequency identification tag 1 includes a sheet metal member 10, a wire rope 20, and a housing 30. In the embodiment of the present invention, the housing 30 covers the metal plate 10, and the free end 201 of the steel cable 20 is exposed to the outside. In the embodiment of the present invention, the rfid tag 1 includes an rfid element (not shown) disposed in the housing 30 for accessing information related to a product (not shown) and reading the information related to the product by an rfid reader.
Referring to fig. 2 to 5, the metal plate 2 includes a first surface 101 and a second surface 102 opposite to each other. The sheet metal piece 2 has a blanking tab 12 projecting from the second surface 102 towards the first surface 101 and projecting from the first surface 101. In an embodiment of the invention, the die cut tabs 12 and the first surface 101 form channels 13. In the present embodiment, the blanking tab 12 is formed by blanking the sheet metal piece 10 by blanking from the second surface 102 in the direction of the first surface 101 at the blanking position P of the sheet metal piece 10. In the blanking mode, the blanking tab 12 projects from the second surface 102 toward the first surface 101, and a blanking groove 122 is formed at the blanking position P.
The wire rope 20 is threaded through the channel 13 and the blanking tabs 12 cooperate with the first surface 101 to clamp the wire rope 20. In the present embodiment, a portion of the steel cord 20 is bent from the first surface 101 to the second surface 102. In the present embodiment, the blanking tab 12 is pressed from the first surface 101 to the second surface 102 by an external force F, such that a portion of the cable 20 is bent from the first surface 101 to the second surface 102 in the blanking slot 122, as shown in fig. 5.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 4 and fig. 5 again, the metal plate 10 has a plurality of bumps 16 protruding from the first surface 101; in the embodiment of the present invention, the steel cable 20 is disposed between the two protrusions 16. In the embodiment of the present invention, the bumps 16 are located between the punching tabs 12 and the edge 103 of the metal plate 10 and arranged on two sides of the extension line E of the channel 13, so that the steel cable 20 can be stably disposed on the first surface 101 of the metal plate 10, and the steel cable 20 is not easily deviated from a predetermined position when the housing 30 is subsequently injection-molded, thereby improving the manufacturing efficiency and yield of the rfid tag 1.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the rfid tag 1 further includes a clamping sleeve 14, the clamping sleeve 14 is fixedly disposed at the clamping end 202 of the steel cable 20, and the clamping end 202 passes through the passage 13, so that the clamping end 202 of the steel cable 20 clamped on the metal plate 10 is difficult to be separated from the metal plate 10, thereby improving the durability and reliability of the rfid tag 1. In an embodiment of the present invention, at least one of the collet 14 and the blanking tab 12 contact each other to prevent the clamping end 202 of the wire rope 20 from disengaging from the sheet metal piece 10.
Referring to fig. 6, the number of die cut tabs 12 is two. The two blanking tabs 12 form a channel 13 with the first surface 101, the steel cord 20 is arranged through the channel 13, and the two blanking tabs 12 and the first surface 101 together clamp the steel cord 20. In the present embodiment, by increasing the number of die-cut tabs 12, the durability and reliability of the rfid tag 1 can be improved, and the clamping end 202 of the wire rope 20 can be prevented from being separated from the metal plate 10.
Next, please refer to fig. 7A and 7B, which illustrate a usage status of the rfid tag 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. In fig. 7A and 7B, the free end 201 of the wire rope 20 is tied at the collar S1 of a rope loop C1.
Next, please refer to fig. 8A and 8B, which illustrate another usage status of the rfid tag 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention. In fig. 8A and 8B, the free end 201 of the wire rope 20 is tied at the collar S2 of a rope loop C2.
By the design of the invention, the RFID tag is respectively and fixedly connected with the RFID tag and the steel cable of the product through two ends, so that the RFID tag is prevented from falling off or losing from the product due to being pulled by external force, and the aim of improving the problems of the traditional RFID tag is fulfilled. Therefore, the producer can easily and stably connect the RFID tag with the product, and the user can obtain the related information of the product by using the RFID reader.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and all equivalent changes and modifications to the present invention as described and claimed should be included in the scope of the present invention.
Claims (11)
1. A wireless radio frequency identification tag, comprising:
the metal plate comprises a first surface and a second surface which are opposite to each other, the metal plate is provided with at least one punching lug which protrudes from the second surface to the first surface and protrudes from the first surface, and the at least one punching lug and the first surface form a channel; and
a steel cable passing through the channel, and the at least one punching lug and the first surface clamp the steel cable together, so that a part of the steel cable is bent from the first surface to the second surface.
2. The radio frequency identification tag of claim 1, further comprising a clamp sleeve secured to a clamping end of the cable, the clamping end extending through the passageway.
3. The radio frequency identification tag of claim 2, wherein the jacket is in contact with at least one of the at least one die cut tab.
4. The radio frequency identification tag of claim 1, wherein the metal plate has a plurality of protrusions protruding from the first surface, and the cable is disposed between the plurality of protrusions.
5. The rfid tag of claim 4, wherein the plurality of protrusions are disposed between the at least one die cut tab and an edge of the sheet metal piece and are disposed on opposite sides of the channel extension.
6. The rfid tag of claim 1, wherein the at least one die cut tab is formed by die cutting the sheet metal piece with a die cut in a direction from the second surface toward the first surface at least one die cut location of the sheet metal piece.
7. The rfid tag of claim 6, wherein in the die-cut mode, the at least one die-cut tab protrudes from the second surface toward the first surface and a die-cut groove is formed at the at least one die-cut location; a portion of the wire rope is bent in the die-cut recess from the first surface to the second surface.
8. The radio frequency identification tag of claim 1, wherein the number of the at least one die cut tab is two, the two die cut tabs and the first surface form the channel, the cable is disposed through the channel, and the two die cut tabs and the first surface clamp the cable together.
9. The radio frequency identification tag of claim 1, comprising a housing covering the metal plate and exposing a free end of the wire rope.
10. The rfid tag of claim 9, comprising an rfid element disposed within the housing.
11. The radio frequency identification tag of claim 9, wherein the free end of the wire rope is secured to a collar of a rope loop.
