In other alternative embodiments, the object-side surface and the image-side surface of the sixth lens element L6 can have other concave and convex profiles, and the sixth lens element L6 can also have negative refractive power.
The focal length of the image pickup optical lens 10 is f, and the focal length of the sixth lens L6 is f6, which satisfies the following relation: f6/f is more than or equal to 1.47 and less than or equal to 21.26, and the shooting optical lens 10 has better imaging quality and lower sensitivity through reasonable distribution of focal power. Preferably, 2.35. ltoreq. f 6/f. ltoreq.17.01 is satisfied.
The central curvature radius of the object-side surface of the sixth lens L6 is defined as R11, the central curvature radius of the image-side surface of the sixth lens L6 is defined as R12, and the following relations are satisfied: 0.50 ≦ (R11+ R12)/(R11-R12) ≦ 33.19, and defines the shape of the sixth lens L6, and when within the conditional expression, it is advantageous to correct the aberration of the off-axis picture angle and the like as the ultra-thin wide angle progresses. Preferably, 0.80. ltoreq. R11+ R12)/(R11-R12. ltoreq.26.55 is satisfied.
The total optical length of the imaging optical lens 10 is TTL, and the on-axis thickness of the sixth lens element L6 is defined as d11, which satisfies the following relation: d11/TTL is more than or equal to 0.04 and less than or equal to 0.14, and ultra-thinning is facilitated in the relational expression range. Preferably, 0.06. ltoreq. d 11/TTL. ltoreq.0.11 is satisfied.
In this embodiment, the object-side surface of the seventh lens element L7 is concave at the paraxial region thereof, and the image-side surface thereof is convex at the paraxial region thereof, and the seventh lens element L7 has positive refractive power. In other alternative embodiments, the object-side surface and the image-side surface of the seventh lens element L7 may have other concave and convex distribution, and the seventh lens element L7 may have negative refractive power.
The focal length of the image pickup optical lens 10 is f, and the focal length of the seventh lens L7 is f7, which satisfies the following relation: f7/f is more than or equal to 0.42 and less than or equal to 1.88, and the shooting optical lens 10 has better imaging quality and lower sensitivity through reasonable distribution of focal power. Preferably, 0.68. ltoreq. f 7/f. ltoreq.1.50 is satisfied.
The central curvature radius of the object side surface of the seventh lens L7 is defined as R13, and the central curvature radius of the image side surface of the seventh lens L7 is defined as R14, which satisfy the following relations: the shape of the seventh lens L7 is defined to be not less than 0.64 (R13+ R14)/(R13-R14) and not more than 3.35, and when the shape is within the conditional expression range, the problem of aberration of off-axis picture angle is favorably corrected as the ultra-thin wide angle is developed. Preferably, 1.02 ≦ (R13+ R14)/(R13-R14). ltoreq.2.68 is satisfied.
The total optical length of the imaging optical lens 10 is TTL, and the on-axis thickness of the seventh lens L7 is defined as d13, which satisfies the following relation: d13/TTL is more than or equal to 0.07 and less than or equal to 0.24, and ultra-thinning is facilitated in the relational expression range. Preferably, 0.11. ltoreq. d 13/TTL. ltoreq.0.19 is satisfied.
In this embodiment, the object-side surface of the eighth lens element L8 is convex at the paraxial region thereof and the image-side surface thereof is concave at the paraxial region thereof, and the eighth lens element L8 has negative refractive power. In other alternative embodiments, the object-side surface and the image-side surface of the eighth lens element L8 can have other concave and convex distribution, and the eighth lens element L8 can also have positive refractive power.
The imaging optical lens 10 has a focal length f, and defines a focal length f8 of the eighth lens L8, and satisfies the following relation: 2.84 ≦ f8/f ≦ -0.67, allowing better imaging quality and lower sensitivity of the system through reasonable distribution of optical power. Preferably, it satisfies-1.77. ltoreq. f 8/f. ltoreq-0.83.
The central curvature radius of the object side surface of the eighth lens element L8 is defined as R15, and the central curvature radius of the image side surface of the eighth lens element L8 is defined as R16, which satisfy the following relations: 0.92 ≦ (R15+ R16)/(R15-R16) ≦ 3.72, defines the shape of the eighth lens, and is advantageous for correcting the aberration of the off-axis picture angle and the like as the ultra-thin wide angle progresses within the conditional expression range. Preferably, 1.47 ≦ (R15+ R16)/(R15-R16). ltoreq.2.97 is satisfied.
The total optical length of the imaging optical lens 10 is TTL, and the on-axis thickness of the eighth lens element L8 is defined as d15, which satisfies the following relation: d15/TTL is more than or equal to 0.05 and less than or equal to 0.23, and ultra-thinning is facilitated in the relational expression range. Preferably, 0.08. ltoreq. d 15/TTL. ltoreq.0.18 is satisfied.
In the present embodiment, the image height of the imaging optical lens 10 is IH, the total optical length of the imaging optical lens 10 is TTL, and the following relationships are satisfied: TTL/IH is less than or equal to 1.72, thereby being beneficial to realizing ultra-thinning.
In this embodiment, the aperture value FNO of the imaging optical lens 10 is less than or equal to 1.86, so that a large aperture is realized and the imaging performance of the imaging optical lens 10 is good.
The imaging optical lens 10 has good optical performance and can meet the design requirements of large aperture, wide angle and ultra-thinness; in accordance with the characteristics of the imaging optical lens 10, the imaging optical lens 10 is particularly suitable for a mobile phone imaging lens module and a WEB imaging lens which are configured by an imaging element such as a high-pixel CCD or a CMOS.
The image pickup optical lens 10 of the present invention will be explained below by way of example. The symbols described in the respective examples are as follows. The unit of focal length, on-axis distance, center curvature radius, on-axis thickness, position of the reverse curvature point and the position of the stagnation point is mm.
TTL: the total optical length (on-axis distance from the object side surface of the first lens L1 to the image plane Si) is in mm;
aperture value FNO: is the ratio of the effective focal length and the entrance pupil diameter of the imaging optical lens.
Preferably, the object side surface and/or the image side surface of the lens may be further provided with an inflection point and/or a stagnation point to meet the requirement of high-quality imaging.

In the present embodiment, the imaging optical lens 10 has an entrance pupil diameter ENPD of 1.331mm, a full field image height IH of 3.500mm, and a diagonal field angle FOV of 120.00 °, and the imaging optical lens 10 satisfies the design requirements of a large aperture, a wide angle, and a slimness, and has excellent optical characteristics with on-axis and off-axis chromatic aberration sufficiently corrected.
(second embodiment)
Fig. 5 shows an imaging optical lens 20 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The second embodiment is basically the same as the first embodiment, the same reference numerals as in the first embodiment, and only different points will be described below.
The object-side surface of the third lens element L3 is concave at the paraxial region, and the image-side surface of the third lens element L3 is convex at the paraxial region; the object-side surface of the fourth lens L4 is convex at the paraxial region.

Fig. 9 shows an imaging optical lens 30 according to a third embodiment of the present invention. The third embodiment is basically the same as the first embodiment, the same reference numerals as in the first embodiment, and only different points will be described below.
The image-side surface of the second lens L2 is concave at the paraxial region; the object-side surface of the third lens element L3 is concave at the paraxial region, and the image-side surface of the third lens element L3 is convex at the paraxial region.

An imaging optical lens, comprising eight lens elements in order from an object side to an image side: a first lens element with negative refractive power, a second lens element with positive refractive power, a third lens element with positive refractive power, a fourth lens element with positive refractive power, a fifth lens element with negative refractive power, a sixth lens element with positive refractive power, a seventh lens element with positive refractive power, and an eighth lens element with negative refractive power;
the imaging optical lens is characterized in that the field angle of the imaging optical lens is FOV, the focal length of the third lens is f3, the focal length of the fourth lens is f4, the on-axis distance from the image-side surface of the fourth lens to the object-side surface of the fifth lens is d8, the on-axis distance from the image-side surface of the fifth lens to the object-side surface of the sixth lens is d10, the central curvature radius of the object-side surface of the sixth lens is R11, the central curvature radius of the image-side surface of the sixth lens is R12, and the following relations are satisfied:
