Fig. 1 is an application scenario diagram according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 1, the video website 30 provides a video source to the terminal 20, and the user 10 selects the video source to be played through the terminal 20. During the viewing of the video, the user may send a barrage to the video website 30.
For example, the user 10 sends a barrage editing instruction to the terminal 20, the terminal 20 controls the video to pause or continue playing based on the barrage editing instruction, and the user displays the barrage on the terminal after the terminal 20 edits the barrage and sends the barrage to the video website 30.
Fig. 2 is a video playing method provided in an embodiment of the present application, including:
step 201, responding to the barrage editing instruction, and acquiring the play reference information of the current video.
The barrage is information sent by a user through a client when a video is played, and the information can be evaluation of the user on the video and prediction of the plot development.
The client can be a mobile phone or an ipad with a touch screen, or a desktop or a notebook computer with an external input device (a mouse or a touch pad). The user can click the bullet screen editing button or the bullet screen editing frame through a mouse or a touch screen to send a bullet screen editing instruction.
The current video can be a video of a movie, a video of a game, and the like provided by a video website.
For example, a user may send a barrage editing instruction to the terminal by clicking a barrage editing button in a touch screen of a mobile phone, and the terminal may pause playing of a current video or continue playing of the current video in response to the barrage editing instruction. After the user edits the bullet screen, the bullet screen can be displayed at the terminal and also can be sent to a video website.
In some embodiments, after receiving the barrage editing instruction, the terminal acquires a play reference message of the current video to determine the video control instruction.
In some embodiments, the play reference information includes video play information and/or user information. The video playing information refers to playing information of a current video, and includes one or more of a video type and a video remaining playing time. The user information refers to information such as usage habits of the user.
In step 202, a video control instruction for controlling the current video is generated based on the play reference information.
The video control instruction comprises instructions of pausing and continuing playing and the like.
In some embodiments, the user watches different types of videos, and there may be different requirements for video details. For example, when watching a bubble play, the user generally does not care about the detail screen, but when watching a sports video such as a game, the user may learn about the operation in the video by paying attention to the details in the video. Therefore, different control methods should be adopted for different video types.
For example, when the current video is determined to be a sports video based on the play reference information, the generated video control instruction is a pause instruction, that is, the current video is paused to be played, and the video is played after the barrage is edited.
For example, when the current video watched by the user is a movie play, especially a bubble play, the generated video control instruction is to continue playing, that is, to continue playing the video during the process of sending the barrage by the user.
In some embodiments, the video control instruction may be generated according to play position information of the viewing video at the time of sending the bullet screen. When the current video watched by the user is the position of the wonderful segment, the video control instruction is to pause the playing of the current video and to play the video after the bullet screen is edited by the user.
And step 203, controlling the playing of the video according to the video control instruction.
In some embodiments, the player controls the playing of the video according to the video control instruction, such as the player continues to play the current video or pauses to play the current video.
In some embodiments, in response to the barrage editing instruction in step 201, before acquiring the play reference information of the current video, a monitoring barrage editing instruction is included.
In some embodiments, the editing instructions are monitored by monitoring signals output by the barrage edit button and/or the barrage edit box. And when the bullet screen editing button and/or the bullet screen editing frame are clicked, determining to send a bullet screen editing instruction. Therefore, after the terminal detects the barrage editing instruction sent by the user, the playing reference information of the current video is obtained.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, the step 202 of generating video control instructions based on the play reference information includes:
step 301, determining a first threshold value based on the average duration of the bullet screen edited by the user.
In practical application, different users have different typing efficiencies, and if the typing efficiency of the users is low, the video playing is not paused when the barrage is edited, so that the probability that the users miss the concerned segment is high.
The average duration of the user editing the barrage can be determined by the historical barrage editing time of the user. For example, the video website obtains the average duration of the user editing the bullet screen according to the historical time of editing the bullet screen by the user, so as to determine the first threshold.
In some embodiments, the average word number of the barrage edited by the user and the average duration of editing each word are obtained according to the history of editing the barrage by the user; the first threshold is determined based on the average word count and the average duration.
Step 302, comparing the first threshold with the remaining playing time of the current video to obtain a comparison result.
The remaining playing time of the current video can be obtained through a video website or a terminal.
In some embodiments, the remaining play time of the current video does not include the trailer and/or the advertisement time. Because a user needs a certain time to edit the bullet screen, if the remaining duration of the current video is shorter than the time for editing the bullet screen, the playing of the current video is not suspended, and the situation that the playing of the current video is finished and the bullet screen is not edited may occur.
In some embodiments, the comparison of the first threshold with the remaining playing time of the current video includes that the first threshold is greater than or equal to the remaining playing time of the current video, or that the first threshold is less than the remaining playing time of the current video.
And step 303, generating a video control instruction based on the comparison result.
And under the condition that the first threshold is greater than or equal to the residual video playing time, the generated video control instruction is a pause instruction.
And under the condition that the first threshold is smaller than the residual video playing time, the generated video control instruction is a continuous playing instruction.
The video playing method provided by the embodiment of the application comprises the steps of responding to a barrage editing instruction and obtaining current playing reference information; and a video control instruction for controlling the current video is generated based on the play reference information, and the method determines the video control instruction based on the current play reference information after receiving the barrage editing instruction, so that the video control instruction is closer to the habit of the user, and the user experience is improved.
