The invention has the advantages that: the method adopts two methods of strong wind blowing and brushing dust removal, and simultaneously, scraps and dust on the edge part and the upper surface of the glass are quickly blown clean by strong wind, so that the glass scraps and dust are prevented from entering the next process; the other side of the rubber ring is cleaned by using the friction force between the brush and the conveying roller.

Technical Field

Background
In a cold-end conveying roller way of a float glass production line, the edge breaking roller way device and the edge breaking device act together to break off all redundant edges of the glass plate, and many production lines can carry out secondary edge breaking. Therefore, a variable amount of glass chips and dusts are generated at the edge snapping roll table, and most of the glass chips and dusts fall into a pit, a portion of the glass chips and dusts sticks to the edge rubber ring of the roll, and a portion of the glass chips and dusts remain on the surface of the glass plate at the edge snapping position. The dust is easy to scratch the surface of the glass plate, and the quality of the glass is seriously influenced. In particular, in the production line of float glass of automobile grade, the quality requirements for the glass sheets are more strict.

In view of the above defects, the present invention aims to provide a novel and effective chip removing method for an edge snapping roller way device in a glass production line, which is used for removing glass chips and dust generated in the edge snapping process.
