Technical Field

Background
An FA optical fiber is a component commonly used in the field of optical communication, and the front end of the optical fiber is an end face with an angle, the angle of the end face is generally 45 degrees, and the rear end of the optical fiber is a thin glass fiber. To increase the end face reflectivity, the angled end face needs to be coated. The original coating method is to stick 45-degree FA on a 45-degree prism by a high-temperature adhesive tape for coating, and the method is complex in operation, inaccurate in positioning, and often causes the problems of poor product consistency, product falling damage and the like in the operation process.
In the prior art, there is a fixture providing clamping and positioning capability for coating, for example, chinese patent publication No. CN204819228U discloses a positioning fixture for centralized coating processing of an end face of a pigtail, which includes positioning bases, connecting rods, positioning discs and pressing strips, wherein two positioning bases are connected by a connecting plate, at least four connecting rods are uniformly distributed on two positioning bases, positioning sliders are additionally arranged on the connecting rods, the positioning discs are connected with the connecting rods by the positioning sliders, positioning grooves are respectively arranged on the upper and lower surfaces of the positioning discs, the pressing strips are mounted on the positioning discs by bolts, the pressing strips are additionally vertically distributed with the positioning grooves, and at least two pressing strips are arranged on the positioning discs. Chinese patent publication No. CN103225068A discloses a clamping fixture for end face coating of semiconductor laser chip, which comprises a fixing member, two connecting shafts are respectively fixed at two ends of the fixing member, the fixing member is movably connected with a stretching member through the two connecting shafts, and a spring is connected between the stretching member and the fixing member.
However, the above prior patents are not suitable for coating the FA fiber end face with an angle, so it is necessary to provide a new coating clamp and method to solve the problems of the prior coating method.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to solve the problems in the prior art, and provides an FA optical fiber end face coating clamp and a using method thereof, which replace the existing backward coating mode, improve the coating quality and improve the efficiency.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the technical scheme that:
the FA optical fiber end face coating clamp comprises a clamp base, a spring support, a compression spring and a pull rod, wherein a plurality of positioning grooves are formed in the clamp base, the bottom of the spring support is fixed on the clamp base, a plurality of through holes are formed in the spring support, the pull rod penetrates through the through holes, the front end of the pull rod is matched with the positioning grooves, and the compression spring is sleeved on the pull rod.

taking an FA optical fiber with a cleaned surface, pulling a pull rod cap at the tail end of a Teflon pull rod by one hand, pinching a tail fiber of the FA optical fiber by the other hand, placing the FA optical fiber into a positioning groove corresponding to a base, then slightly pulling the tail fiber backwards to enable the rear end face of the FA optical fiber to be aligned with a step at the rear end of the positioning groove, loosening the Teflon pull rod, and automatically clamping the FA optical fiber by a spring;
and after clamping of all stations is completed, loosening the fixing knob of the feeding tool, taking out the clamp, and putting the end face coating clamp provided with the FA optical fiber and the FA optical fiber into a coating machine together to complete coating.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
(1) according to the invention, through the matching effect of the positioning groove and the pull rod, the precise positioning of the coated optical fiber is realized, the consistency of the FA optical fiber coating is ensured, and the coating quality is improved.

Referring to fig. 1 to 8, the present invention provides an FA fiber end surface coating clamp, which includes a clamp base, a spring support, a compression spring and a pull rod, wherein the clamp base is provided with a plurality of positioning slots, the bottom of the spring support is fixed on the clamp base, the spring support is provided with a plurality of through holes, the pull rod passes through the through holes, the front end of the pull rod is matched with the positioning slots, and the compression spring is sleeved on the pull rod. When loading, fixing the FA optical fiber end face coating clamp, pulling the pull rod open, placing the FA optical fiber to be coated into the positioning groove, then loosening the pull rod, automatically clamping the FA optical fiber to be coated by the compression spring, and after clamping of all stations is completed, placing the FA optical fiber end face coating clamp and the FA optical fiber into a coating machine together to complete coating.
As an implementation mode, the FA optical fiber end face coating clamp is connected to a feeding tool, and a plurality of V-shaped grooves are formed in the feeding tool.
Specifically, one side of the feeding tool is provided with a fixing knob, and the FA optical fiber end face coating clamp is detachably connected with the V-shaped groove by rotating the fixing knob. When feeding is needed, loosening a fixing knob of a feeding tool, placing a clamp into a V-shaped groove of the feeding tool, and locking the fixing knob to enable a positioning surface of the clamp to be horizontal; after the feeding is finished, loosening the fixing knob of the feeding tool, taking out the fixture, and putting the FA optical fiber end face coating fixture and the FA optical fiber into a coating machine together to finish coating.
In one embodiment, the positioning groove is formed by a first area and a second area, and the width of the first area is larger than that of the second area. The first area is matched with the pull rod and used for positioning the FA optical fiber to be coated; the second area is used for placing tail fibers. Because the glass fiber of the tail fiber is thin, the second area with narrow width is adopted for placement, and the effect of gathering and fixing the tail fiber can be achieved effectively.
In one embodiment, the pull rod has a structure with a large front end and a small rear end, and the front end of the pull rod is matched with the first area. The front end of the pull rod is large so as to block the spring, so that the spring is stressed and compressed and naturally stretched after being loosened.
Specifically, the tail end of the pull rod is provided with a pull rod cap. The pull rod cap is convenient for a worker to pull the pull rod.
In particular, the tie rod has a teflon coating. The Teflon coating is sprayed on the surface of the pull rod, so that the FA optical fiber to be coated can be prevented from being scratched.
Specifically, the positioning groove adopts a stainless steel surface, and the polishing roughness is Ra0.8. The positioning groove with the stainless steel surface and the polishing roughness Ra0.8 is adopted, so that the surface of the FA optical fiber can be prevented from being scratched, and the good heat conduction effect of the stainless steel material is utilized, so that the FA optical fiber is heated uniformly during film coating, the coating is more favorably attached, and the firmness of the film layer is improved.

taking an FA optical fiber with a cleaned surface, pulling a pull rod cap at the tail end of a Teflon pull rod by one hand, pinching a tail fiber of the FA optical fiber by the other hand, placing the FA optical fiber into a positioning groove corresponding to a base, then slightly pulling the tail fiber backwards to enable the rear end face of the FA optical fiber to be aligned with a step at the rear end of the positioning groove, loosening the Teflon pull rod, and automatically clamping the FA optical fiber by a spring;
and after clamping of all stations is completed, loosening the fixing knob of the feeding tool, taking out the clamp, and putting the end face coating clamp provided with the FA optical fiber and the FA optical fiber into a coating machine together to complete coating.
As an embodiment, as shown in fig. 9 to 10, the method for using the FA fiber end face coating jig includes:
placing two FA optical fiber end face coating fixtures into a V-shaped groove of a feeding tool, and locking a fixing knob to enable a fixture positioning surface to be horizontal;
taking an FA optical fiber with a cleaned surface, pulling a pull rod cap at the tail end of a Teflon pull rod by one hand, pinching a tail fiber of the FA optical fiber by the other hand, placing the FA optical fiber into a positioning groove corresponding to a base, then slightly pulling the tail fiber backwards to enable the rear end face of the FA optical fiber to be aligned with a step at the rear end of the positioning groove, loosening the Teflon pull rod, and automatically clamping the FA optical fiber by a spring; sequentially placing a plurality of FA optical fibers with cleaned surfaces into a clamp and clamping;
and after clamping of all stations is completed, loosening the fixing knob of the feeding tool, taking out the clamp, and putting the end face coating clamp provided with the FA optical fiber and the FA optical fiber into a coating machine together to complete coating.
According to the invention, the precise positioning of the coated FA optical fiber is realized through the matching action of the positioning groove and the pull rod, the consistency of the coating of the FA optical fiber is ensured, and the coating quality is improved. The fixture is fixed into the V-shaped groove of the feeding tool through the fixing knob, a plurality of fixtures can be fixed to the feeding tool at one time, both hands of a feeding worker are liberated, the working efficiency is improved, a plurality of optical fibers can be clamped for film coating at the same time, and the film coating efficiency is improved.
