The scene includes a satellite mobile terminal, a low orbit satellite and a gateway station. The low orbit satellite is transparently transferred, and the routing area updating process between the terminal and the gateway station transfers the message through the low orbit satellite.

the method can reduce the updating frequency of the routing area in the process of mobility management and achieve the purpose of reducing the overhead of air interface signaling.

(4) when the network side needs to page the terminal, the routing area number is searched according to the identity of the paged terminal, and then the satellite link is selected according to the number to send the paging message.
The method provides a method for planning a system routing area based on a ground area in a low earth orbit satellite mobile communication system and paging by taking the system routing area as a basic means, and solves the problem of huge signaling overhead caused by frequent routing area updating of the low earth orbit satellite mobile communication system.
