Detailed Description
For the purpose of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application more apparent, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present application, not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the application without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the application.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for adjusting processor parameters according to an embodiment of the application. The method comprises the following steps:
s101: the device operating state is determined.
Since there may be multiple processors in the device, each processor together supporting the operation of the device, the device operating state may be obtained and determined when determining whether or not processor parameter adjustments are needed. The specific content of the running state of the device is not limited, and for example, the running state of the device may include a software running state and a hardware running state, where the software running state may include the current process number, the process numbers corresponding to different types of processes, specific process names, process numbers, and the like; the hardware operating state may include the current number of processor cores, voltage values of the respective processors, temperature values of the respective processors, and the like. The specific manner of determining the operating state of the device is not limited, and for example, the operating state of the device may be determined in real time when the processor parameter adjustment instruction is detected. Or the running state of the equipment can be determined according to a preset period, the running state of the equipment is locally stored after being obtained, and when the running state of the equipment needs to be determined, the stored content is read. The embodiment is not limited to determining a specific time of the running state of the device, that is, a specific time when the parameter adjustment of the processor is started, for example, a time when a process running on the processor changes, for example, a time when the number of processes changes, or a time when the content of a specific process changes; or the moment when the temperature of the processor changes; or at a time when the processor load is greater than a certain threshold or less than a certain threshold.
S102: and judging whether the parameter configuration information has a target running state matched with the running state of the equipment.
After the running state of the equipment is determined, judging whether a target running state matched with the running state of the equipment exists in a plurality of preset running states recorded in the parameter configuration information. The parameter configuration information may be stored in a local storage means of the device, such as FLASH (FLASH memory). It will be appreciated that most electronic devices, such as set-top boxes, routers, GPS watches, etc., operate in several relatively fixed operating scenarios, with relatively fixed operating states in each operating scenario. Therefore, in order to omit the step of monitoring the processor load in the process of adjusting the processor parameters, the processor parameters in various scenes can be preset in advance, and whether the preset parameters matched with the current situation exist in the parameter configuration information or not is judged when the processor parameters need to be adjusted, namely whether the target running state matched with the running state of the equipment exists or not is judged. The embodiment is not limited to a specific number of preset operation states in the parameter configuration information, and may specifically be one or more.
The embodiment does not limit the specific content of each preset operation state in the parameter configuration information, and may limit each data item of the operation state of the device, and specifically may be a value or a section. For example, there may be 1 processor operating with 3 processes, a process, B process, and C process, respectively, and the temperature of the processor is 40 degrees. Or only a part of the data items of the running state of the device may be limited, for example, 2 processors are working, and a total of 5-7 processes are running, including a D process. If the target operation state matched with the operation state of the device is detected, it indicates that the processor parameter adjustment process corresponding to the operation state of the current device is already preset, and step S103 may be executed. If there is no target operation state corresponding to the device operation state, step S105 may be performed.
S103: and acquiring target preset processor parameters corresponding to the target running state from the parameter configuration information.
The parameter configuration information records the preset running state and the corresponding preset processor parameters, and after the existence of the target running state is determined, the corresponding target preset processor parameters are obtained from the parameter configuration information. The specific content of the target preset processor parameter is not limited, and may include, for example, the number of processor cores, or may further include the processor frequency, or may further include other information, such as a maintenance duration, that is, an operation duration in this state. It should be noted that, each preset processor parameter may include only one set of processor sub-parameters, and the corresponding processor parameter adjustment process only has one adjustment, so as to adjust the parameters of the processor to the processor sub-parameters. In another possible embodiment, the preset processor parameters may include a plurality of sets of processor sub-parameters, each set of processor sub-parameters respectively corresponding to a plurality of different moments in time, in which case the adjustment of the processor parameters is performed in a plurality of stages, each stage adjusting the processor to the corresponding processor sub-parameter. Specifically, the preset processor parameters may include three sets of processor sub-parameters, 700MHz, 800MHz, and 1100MHz, respectively, corresponding to three times of 0, 10ms, and 30ms, respectively. In this case, if the processor parameter is the target preset processor parameter, the processor frequency is adjusted to 700MHz immediately after the target preset processor parameter is acquired, and is adjusted to 800MHz after 10ms, and is adjusted to 1100MHz after 20 ms.
Further, in a possible implementation manner, the running state of the device may be matched with a plurality of preset running states, in this case, a corresponding priority may be set for each preset running state, and the preset running state with the highest priority may be determined as the target running state, so as to obtain the target preset processor parameter.
S104: and carrying out processor parameter adjustment operation according to the target preset processor parameters.
After the target preset processor parameters are acquired, the processor parameter adjustment operation is performed according to the target preset processor parameters so as to adjust parameters such as processor frequency, processor core number and the like. The embodiment is not limited to the specific process of parameter adjustment, and reference may be made to the related art, which is not described herein.
S105: and (5) presetting operation.
If the corresponding target running state does not exist in the parameter configuration information, the current running condition is not set in advance, in this case, the preset operation may be performed, and specific content of the preset operation is not limited, for example, no operation may be performed, that is, no operation may be performed, or a processor parameter adjustment policy may be performed according to a dynamic adjustment policy, that is, a policy that the processor parameter is adjusted in real time according to factors such as a processor load, an effect parameter that is desired to be achieved, and the specific content of the preset operation is not limited. Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 may be a graph of a CPU parameter adjusting effect provided by the embodiment of the application in fig. 2. Under the condition that the target running state does not exist, when the refresh rate of the UI interface is detected to be 30Hz and the target refresh rate is detected to be 60Hz, the CPU main frequency can be gradually increased, and whether the current refresh rate reaches the target refresh rate is judged after the CPU main frequency is increased each time. And if the current refresh rate does not reach the target refresh rate, the CPU main frequency is increased again until the current refresh rate reaches the target refresh rate. As can be seen from fig. 2, the UI refresh rate is made to reach 60Hz by raising the CPU main frequency from 700MHz to 1200 MHz. Meanwhile, it can be seen that, because the main frequency of the CPU is low at the beginning, in order to raise the UI refresh rate, the CPU occupancy rate reaches more than 90%, even 100%, and as the main frequency of the CPU is raised, the CPU computing capacity is gradually released, and the CPU occupancy rate is gradually reduced until the CPU occupancy rate is reduced to 73%.
By applying the processor parameter adjusting method provided by the embodiment of the application, each preset running state and the corresponding preset processor parameter are recorded by utilizing the parameter configuration information, when the processor parameter adjustment is needed, after the running state of the equipment is determined, the running state of the equipment is matched with the preset running state recorded in the parameter configuration information, and whether the target running state matched with the running state of the equipment exists or not is judged. If the parameters are matched, the parameter adjusting process of the processor in the current scene is set, so that the target preset processor parameters corresponding to the target running state can be obtained from the parameter configuration information, and the processor parameter adjusting operation is carried out according to the target preset processor parameters. The method does not need to monitor the processor load when the processor parameter is adjusted, but directly operates according to the preset target preset processor parameter, so that the problem that the processor parameter cannot be adjusted in time due to low frequency of collecting the load state can be avoided; meanwhile, the problem that the CPU occupies more resources and the power consumption is high due to the fact that the frequency of collecting the load state is high is avoided, and the problem that the processor parameters cannot be timely adjusted or the power consumption in the adjusting process is high in the related technology is solved.
Based on the above embodiments, the present embodiment will specifically explain several steps in the above embodiments. It will be appreciated that parameter configuration information may need to be obtained prior to processor parameter adjustment using the parameter configuration information. Thus, in one embodiment, prior to determining the device operational status, it may further comprise:
step 11: acquiring standard parameter configuration information, and determining the standard parameter configuration information as parameter configuration information; the standard parameter configuration information is obtained based on standard equipment training and is used for recording the corresponding relation between the preset running state and the preset processor parameters.
In this embodiment, the plurality of devices use the same parameter configuration information, i.e., standard parameter configuration information. The standard parameter configuration information is obtained based on standard equipment training, and the standard equipment is the same as the type, model and the like of the electronic equipment for executing the processor parameter adjustment method. Because the types and the models are the same, the working states are basically the same, and standard parameter configuration information can be used as parameter configuration information to carry out the parameter adjustment operation of the processor of the equipment.
In another embodiment, even if the types of the electronic devices are the same, different individuals have a certain difference, and before determining the operation state of the device, the method may further include:
step 21: determining a plurality of preset running states, and acquiring a plurality of basic processor parameters and preset effect parameters corresponding to the preset running states respectively.
In this embodiment, the number of preset operation states is plural, and each preset operation state corresponds to one preset effect parameter. Specific content of the preset effect parameter is not limited, and may be, for example, a UI interface refresh rate, an input response rate (for example, a remote control input response rate, a keyboard input response rate), a data throughput rate, and the like. At the same time, there are also a plurality of basic processor parameters in each preset operating state. The base processor parameter is used to define a processor parameter at the beginning of the processor parameter adjustment, which may specifically be the device operating state, or may be other content. Which may in particular be a value or may be an interval. Because the processors can be regulated in different regulation modes under different running states of the equipment, the same preset effect parameters are finally realized, and different preset processor parameters can be set for the different basic processor parameters.
Further, in one embodiment, the preset operating state may be selected among a plurality of candidate operating states as desired. Specifically, the step of determining a plurality of preset operating states may include:
step 211: and acquiring a scene selection instruction, and selecting a preset running state from a plurality of candidate running states according to the scene selection instruction.
The scene selection instructions may be entered by a user or may be sent by other electronic devices. The candidate operation state is set in advance by the device, and the specific content thereof is not limited. For example, when there are multiple models of electronic devices, there are some different preset operating states between the different models, and also some same preset operating states. In order to improve the generation efficiency of the parameter configuration information, all preset running states of various models can be determined to be candidate running states, and the preset running states can be selected from the candidate running states according to a scene selection instruction when the parameter configuration information is generated.
Step 22: based on each basic processor parameter, training the initial processor parameters to obtain preset processor parameters meeting each preset effect parameter.
The initial processor parameter is a basis of a preset processor parameter, and the specific content thereof is not limited, and may be, for example, a lowest power consumption processor parameter, or may be a maximum performance processor parameter, that is, a highest power consumption processor parameter. Training and adjusting the initial processor parameters by taking the parameters meeting the preset effect as the standard, and finally obtaining the corresponding preset processor parameters of each basic processor parameter under each preset running state. It will be appreciated that, depending on the specific content of the initial processor parameter, the corresponding training manner may also be different, for example, when the initial processor parameter is the lowest power consumption processor parameter and the specific content is the processor frequency, and the content of the training includes an up-conversion point (or down-conversion point) and an up-conversion value (or down-conversion value), the corresponding training manner may be to adjust the training for the up-conversion point (or down-conversion point) and/or adjust the training for the up-conversion value (or down-conversion value). Namely, a plurality of frequency-raising points (or frequency-lowering points) are arranged on the basis of the initial processor parameters, each frequency-raising point has a corresponding frequency-raising value (or frequency-lowering value), and the time of each frequency-raising point and the corresponding frequency-raising value are regulated to obtain the preset processor parameters meeting the preset effect parameters. During training, a test program corresponding to a preset running state can be obtained, initial processor parameters are trained in the running process of the test program, and whether preset effect parameters are met or not is judged according to running results.
For example, when there are two preset running states of A, B, there are 3 basic processor parameters, corresponding to 2 to 4 processes and 4 to 6 processes respectively, the preset effect parameter corresponding to a is that the UI refresh rate reaches 60hz within 50ms, and the preset effect parameter corresponding to b reaches 100Mb/s within 1 s. In this case, a first preset processor parameter corresponding to 2 to 4 processes in the case of a, a second preset processor parameter corresponding to 4 to 6 processes in the case of a, a third preset processor parameter corresponding to 2 to 4 processes in the case of B, and a fourth preset processor parameter corresponding to 4 to 6 processes in the case of B may be obtained, which are four preset processor parameters in total.
In a specific embodiment, in order to make the power consumption of the adjusted processor parameters smaller, the step of training the initial processor parameters to obtain the preset processor parameters that meet the respective preset effect parameters may include:
step 221: and aiming at any preset effect parameter, carrying out parameter adjustment processing on the initial processor parameter based on a preset unit length to obtain a plurality of candidate processor parameters meeting the preset effect parameter.
In addition to the above, the parameter adjustment processing in this embodiment may include several of the processing such as sampling rate adjustment, step-up/down adjustment, and CPU core number adjustment, or may further include other adjustment processing. The initial processor parameter is a processor maximum performance parameter. The maximum performance parameter of the processor is that the processor is immediately adjusted to the maximum performance, and the preset effect parameter can be necessarily met when the processor exerts the maximum performance, so that the maximum performance parameter of the processor which can be determined to meet the effect can be used as the initial processor parameter, and the candidate processor parameter can be obtained by adjusting the maximum performance parameter. On the premise of meeting the preset effect parameters, the power consumption of the processor can be reduced by reducing the frequency-increasing value of the processor, namely, not setting the processor to the maximum frequency, or deferring the frequency-increasing point, namely, not increasing the frequency of the processor at the first time. For example, in one embodiment, the candidate processor parameter has a plurality of processor sub-parameters, and by setting a time corresponding to each processor sub-parameter, that is, an up-conversion point, or setting a size of each processor sub-parameter, that is, an up-conversion value, a plurality of candidate processor parameters that satisfy the preset effect parameter may be obtained.
Step 222: and detecting the power consumption of the processor corresponding to each candidate processor parameter, and determining the candidate processor parameter corresponding to the minimum processor power consumption as the preset processor parameter.
After the candidate processor parameters are obtained, the power consumption of the corresponding processors is detected, and the candidate processor parameters with the minimum power consumption are determined as preset processor parameters, so that the adjusted processor can meet the preset effect parameters by adopting the minimum power consumption.
Step 23: and generating parameter configuration information by using the preset processor parameters, the basic processor parameters and the preset running state.
After the preset processor parameters are obtained, the parameter configuration information is generated by utilizing the preset processor parameters, the preset running state and the basic processor parameters.
Correspondingly, the step of obtaining the target preset processor parameter corresponding to the target running state from the parameter configuration information may include:
step 31: screening the parameter configuration information by utilizing the target running state to obtain a plurality of preset processor parameters corresponding to the target running state;
after the target running state is obtained, the parameter configuration is filtered by using the target running state to obtain a plurality of corresponding preset processor parameters, and it can be understood that each preset processor parameter corresponds to a different basic processor parameter.
Step 32: and screening each basic processor parameter by utilizing the current processor parameter to obtain a target basic processor parameter, and determining the preset processor parameter corresponding to the target basic processor parameter as the target preset processor parameter.
After the preset processor parameters are determined, the current processor parameters are utilized to screen basic processor parameters, and after the target basic processor parameters are determined, the corresponding preset parameters are determined as target preset processor parameters. For example, when the current processor parameter is 700MHz, then the base processor parameter corresponding to [600MHz,800MHz ] is the target base processor parameter.
