Abstract

The invention discloses a measuring tool for a rail vehicle wheel to limiting groove diameter, which is used for obtaining the limiting groove diameter in an indirect mode under the condition that the rolling circle diameter D of the wheel is measured, wherein the measuring tool comprises a positioning ruler component and a main ruler with scales, wherein the positioning ruler component and the main ruler are matched; the positioning rule component is used for positioning and marking a wheel rolling circle diameter measuring position A; the main ruler is used for measuring the radial distance between the radially outer end of the limiting groove and the rolling circle diameter measuring position A, namely the limiting groove position size S. Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of railway vehicles, in particular to a measuring tool for measuring the diameter from a railway wheel to a limiting groove and a method for measuring the diameter from the railway wheel to the limiting groove by using the measuring tool.
Background
In general, in the case of a rail wheel, the tread surface refers to the portion of the wheel that contacts the top surface of the rail. In order to visually display the degree of wear of the tread surface of the wheel, an "reaching-limiting groove" structure is generally machined in the rim end surface on the outer side of the wheel, as shown in fig. 1. Fig. 1(a) schematically illustrates a prior art method of using a rail wheel to limit groove diameter measuring tool 100, and fig. 1(b) illustrates a circle I in fig. 1(a) in a partially enlarged view. When the tread of the rail wheel is worn to the position, the tread needs to be replaced in time, otherwise, the risk of breakage of the wheel can be greatly increased. Therefore, accurate machining and measurement of the groove diameter d is extremely important to ensure safe operation of the wheel.
At present, after a groove limiting structure is machined, because the diameter d of the groove limiting structure is often close to 1000mm, a caliper gauge with the diameter of 1000mm is generally used for measuring the diameter of the groove limiting structure, and the specific measurement is shown in fig. 1. During measurement, a worker is required to align one clamping foot of the caliper to one side of the outer end of the radial direction of the limiting groove, another worker aligns the other clamping foot of the caliper to the other opposite side of the outer end of the radial direction of the limiting groove, and after the caliper is visually inspected to pass through the center of the wheel, the numerical value of the diameter d of the limiting groove is read.
However, this measurement method has various drawbacks: on one hand, because the caliper of 1000mm is too heavy, a single worker or a single person cannot independently complete measurement during inspection; on the other hand, the caliper foot is often misplaced during measurement, which causes measurement difficulty and inaccurate measurement result.
Accordingly, there is a need in the art for a new measuring tool for rail car wheel-to-threshold diameter and a method of measuring the same that eliminates or at least alleviates all or some of the above-mentioned deficiencies of the prior art.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above technical problems in the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide a measuring tool for a rail vehicle wheel-to-limit groove diameter, which can obtain the rail vehicle wheel-to-limit groove diameter in an indirect manner under the condition that the wheel rolling circle diameter D is measured, so that a single worker or a single person can conveniently, quickly, intuitively and accurately measure the limit groove diameter. In addition, the invention also provides a method for measuring the diameter of the limiting groove by using the measuring tool for the diameter of the railway wheel to the limiting groove.
