The method for acquiring the default configuration of the device provided in the embodiment of the present application is described in detail below. Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for acquiring a default configuration of a device according to an embodiment of the present application. The method is applied to a Netconf client, and the method for acquiring the default configuration of the device provided by the embodiment of the application can comprise the following steps.
Specifically, the controller side operates the Netconf client, and the network device side operates the Netconf server. The controller issues various configuration requests to the network equipment to realize the management and control of the network equipment.
When the controller pre-acquires the default configuration of the managed network equipment, the Netconf client generates a first type request message, wherein the first type request message comprises a first acquisition attribute.
In the embodiment of the present application, the first type of request packet is specifically a Remote Procedure Call (RPC) packet in the prior art. The first attribute is to obtain a default configuration get-default-config attribute. The first acquisition attribute is specifically used to implement a plurality of rules for acquiring default configuration described below.
Further, the method specifically comprises the following steps: acquiring default configuration of network equipment where a Netconf server is located; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
acquiring default configuration of a plurality of services supported by target network equipment where a target Netconf server is located; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
acquiring default configuration of a plurality of tables of target services supported by target network equipment where a target Netconf server is located; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
and acquiring the default configuration of the target attribute node supported by the network equipment where the Netconf server is located.
In one example, the controller pre-fetches a default configuration for a certain host name (HostName) of the Base table in the network device. The format of the first type request message generated by the Netconf client is as follows:
in another example, the controller pre-fetches a default configuration of the Base table in the network device. The format of the first type request message generated by the Netconf client is as follows:
Specifically, after receiving a first type request message sent by a Netconf client, the Netconf server extracts a first acquisition attribute from the first type request message. And the Netconf server acquires the default configuration corresponding to the first acquisition attribute from the local configuration according to the first acquisition attribute. And the Netconf server generates a first type response message, wherein the first type response message comprises default configuration corresponding to the first acquisition attribute.
And the Netconf server sends a first type response message to the Netconf client.
And the Netconf client receives the first type response message and extracts default configuration from the first type response message. The Netconf client stores the default configuration locally. If the subsequent controller issues the configuration to the network device, the configuration request to be sent can be checked according to the acquired default configuration of the network device, so as to avoid issuing the wrong configuration request to the network device.
In one example, the controller pre-fetches a default configuration for a certain host name (HostName) of the Base table in the network device. The format of the first type response message generated by the Netconf server is as follows:
it is understood that the response message is a response message corresponding to the request message in the foregoing first example. In the response message, the Netconf server obtains the default configuration of the hostname from the local Base table.
In another example, the controller pre-fetches a default configuration of the Base table in the network device. The format of the first type response message generated by the Netconf server is as follows:
it is understood that the response message is a response message corresponding to the request message in the second example. In this response message, the Netconf server obtains the default configuration of all host names in the table from the local Base table.
It should be noted that, if the local configuration in the Netconf server is empty, the Netconf server still generates the first type response message, but the Netconf server does not carry the default configuration corresponding to the first acquisition attribute in the first type response message.
Therefore, by applying the method and the device for acquiring the default configuration of the device, the Netconf client sends a first type request message to the Netconf server, wherein the first type request message comprises a first acquisition attribute. And the Netconf server acquires the default configuration corresponding to the first acquisition attribute from the configuration of the Netconf server according to the first acquisition attribute. And the Netconf server sends the first type response message to the Netconf client so that the Netconf client receives the first type response message and acquires the default configuration corresponding to the first acquisition attribute from the first type response message.
Therefore, the problems that default configuration data of the network equipment, which is acquired by the controller in a command line mode in the prior art, is unstructured data, programming of the controller is not facilitated, and expansibility is poor are solved. The default configuration of the network equipment is acquired by the controller at a lower cost, so that the unified implementation of the network equipment is facilitated, the difference among different network equipment is reduced, and the platform is facilitated; meanwhile, the controller can conveniently and efficiently manage the network equipment.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, a process in which the Netconf client sends a second type request packet to the Netconf server, and receives the second type request packet sent by the Netconf server is further included.
Specifically, when the controller pre-acquires all default configuration attributes of the target service, the Netconf client generates a second type request message, where the second type request message includes a second acquisition attribute.
In this embodiment of the application, the second type request packet is specifically an RPC packet in the prior art. The second acquisition attribute is specifically all default configuration report-all-default attributes of the reported target service. The first acquisition attribute is specifically used to implement a plurality of rules for acquiring default configuration described below.
In one example, the controller pre-acquires a default configuration of the network device. The format of the second type request message generated by the Netconf client is as follows:
and after receiving the second type request message sent by the Netconf client, the Netconf server extracts a second acquisition attribute from the second type request message. And the Netconf server acquires all default configurations of the target services supported by the network equipment in which the Netconf server is positioned from the local configuration according to the second acquisition attribute. And the Netconf server generates a second type response message, wherein the second type response message comprises all default configurations of the target services supported by the network equipment where the Netconf server is located.
And the Netconf server sends a second type response message to the Netconf client.
And the Netconf client receives the second type response message and extracts all default configurations of the target services supported by the network equipment from the second type response message. The Netconf client stores the default configuration locally. If the subsequent controller issues the configuration to the network device, the configuration request to be sent can be checked according to the acquired default configuration of the network device, so as to avoid issuing the wrong configuration request to the network device.
In one example, the controller pre-acquires a default configuration of the network device. The format of the second type response message generated by the Netconf server is as follows:
it should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, a report-all-defaults attribute is extended on the basis of a with-defaults attribute defined in the RFC6243 standard specification, and represents all default configurations of the reported target service. The standard specification provides the with-defaults attribute, as shown in Table 1 below.
TABLE 1RFC6243
The following is a description by specific examples.
The network device factory configures a table, which includes two entries, as follows:
the user can modify the table entries included in the table, specifically, the method includes two modification modes, one is to display the table entries modified by the user for the network device, and the unmodified table entries are not displayed by default; another method is that the network device displays the entry that is not modified by the user and the modified entry, as follows:
user modification mode 1
User modification mode 2
According to the four attributes in table 1, the Netconf client sends a second type request message carrying different attributes to the Netconf server, so as to request the default configuration of the network device.
For example, the Netconf client sends a request message to the Netconf server, where the request message includes a report-all attribute. The Netconf server sends a response message to the Netconf client as follows:
it can be seen that the Netconf server feeds back all default configurations of the network device, including the unmodified entries and the modified entries of the user.
For example, the Netconf client sends a request message to the Netconf server, where the request message includes a report-all-tagged attribute. The Netconf server sends a response message to the Netconf client as follows:
it can be seen that the Netconf server feeds back all default configurations of the network device, including the unmodified entries (and identifying the unmodified default configurations) and the modified entries of the user.
For example, the Netconf client sends a request message to the Netconf server, where the request message includes a trim attribute. The Netconf server sends a response message to the Netconf client as follows:
it can be seen that the Netconf server feeds back the entry modified by the user, and does not feed back the default configuration of the network device.
For example, the Netconf client sends a request message to the Netconf server, the request message including an explicit attribute. According to different modification modes of a user on a table, the Netconf server sends different response messages to the Netconf client, as follows:
explicit
and (3) modifying the response message corresponding to the mode 1 by the user:
and (3) modifying the response message corresponding to the mode 2 by the user:
it can be seen that, for the user modification mode 1, the Netconf server feeds back the modified table entry of the user, and does not feed back the default configuration of the network device; aiming at the user modification mode 2, the Netconf server feeds back all default configurations of the network equipment, including the unmodified entries and the modified entries of the user.
In the embodiment of the application, the Netconf client sends the second type request message to the Netconf server, and the second type request message comprises a report-all-defaults attribute. The Netconf server sends a second type response message to the Netconf client, as follows:
it can be seen that the Netconf server feeds back all default configurations of the network device, and although the user has modified the b entry, the Netconf server still feeds back all default configurations of the network device when the user has not modified the b entry.
