Description

Equipment configuration method, configuration device and management equipment
The present application is a divisional application of a chinese patent application with an application number of CN201410714601.9, entitled "method for configuring device, device for configuring device, and management device", filed in 2014 on 28/11.
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to an apparatus configuration method, a configuration apparatus, and a management apparatus.
Background
Often an enterprise with multiple branches operates by connecting headquarters to the branch network. The headquarter Local Area Network (LAN) and the branch LAN are connected via a Wide Area Network (WAN) or a Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) provided by an operator.
Typically, as shown in FIG. 1, a headquarters LAN is connected to a WAN/MAN through a headquarters egress gateway device, while branch LANs are also connected to and interconnected by branch egress gateway devices.
To ensure that the egress gateway devices are able to function properly, the egress gateway devices are configured after deployment. In the headquarters, special network maintenance personnel can ensure the realization of the configuration work, and branches are deployed in multiple places, so that the special network maintenance personnel are required to be on site for maintenance. Meanwhile, the technical level of staff and the number of support staff required to be correspondingly guaranteed for ensuring the correct opening of the exit gateway devices of the multiple branches are enough, and the number of staff for operation and maintenance organizations of the network can generate sudden peak value requirements. In the prior art, the method of opening a U disk and automatically configuring a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is adopted to simplify the personnel requirements of opening the U disk on the operation process.
In the mode of opening the USB flash disk, network maintenance personnel copy the configuration file of the outlet gateway equipment needing opening in advance to the corresponding USB flash disk. Then, the opening personnel carry the USB flash disk to the opening station. A USB disk is inserted into a Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface of the egress gateway device, and the egress gateway device copies a configuration file in the USB disk and sets the copied configuration file as a start configuration file. The egress gateway device is then reset and the device restarts according to the configuration file. Obviously, since the generation of the license file in the configuration file requires to acquire an Electronic Serial Number (ESN) of the egress gateway device, the pre-acquisition of the ESN needs to be ensured by the distribution of the device, which requires a high requirement on the management process. Or a process of firstly collecting the ESN of the equipment on site is added, so that personnel needs to enter the station for multiple times, and the initial position cannot be completed by once entering the station and electrifying installation.
The DHCP automatic configuration mode is that an exit gateway device actively initiates a DHCP request to obtain a self management Internet Protocol (IP), then obtains related information saved by a configuration file in the obtained DHCP response, automatically downloads the configuration file, and after the configuration file is successfully downloaded, the configuration file is set to be started and then the device is restarted to enable the configuration to take effect.
However, the DHCP automatic configuration method needs to send a DHCP request, and the DHCP request is a broadcast message, which requires a two-layer dedicated line to connect the network of the branch and the head office, so that there is a great limitation on networking. The configuration file is generated and is ready to be deployed in the configuration cache server in advance, and this also needs to obtain the placement position of the exit gateway device of the branch in advance so as to generate the corresponding configuration file, so the ESN of the device needs to be obtained through a secondary inbound process, or the device installation deployment relationship needs to be fixed in advance through strong management. This is inefficient or has high regulatory requirements that may limit any deployment of the same device.
It can be seen from the above description that, regardless of the opening mode of the usb disk or the opening mode of the DHCP automatic configuration, a worker needs to enter the station for the second time, or the installation position of the device to be configured needs to be planned in advance, and the installation and deployment relationship of the device to be configured is fixed in advance, which results in low opening efficiency and high planning and management difficulty.

Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 2, a flowchart of an apparatus configuration method according to an embodiment of the present invention is executed by a configuration apparatus, where the configuration apparatus may be a portable electronic device, such as a mobile phone and a tablet computer. The method comprises the following steps:
step 101: the method comprises the steps that a configuration device obtains identification information of equipment to be configured, wherein the identification information is used for uniquely identifying the equipment to be configured;
step 102: the configuration device sends the identification information to the management equipment;
step 103: the configuration device receives a configuration file which is sent by the management equipment and corresponds to the identification information;
step 104: and the configuration device transmits the configuration file to the equipment to be configured so as to configure the equipment to be configured according to the configuration file.
Referring to fig. 3, a flowchart of another device configuration method according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown, where the flowchart is executed by a management device, and the management device may be a server. The method comprises the following steps:
step 201: the management equipment receives identification information of the equipment to be configured, which is sent by a configuration device, wherein the identification information is used for uniquely identifying the equipment to be configured;
step 202: the management equipment generates a configuration file of the equipment to be configured according to the network deployment plan related to the identification information;
step 203: and the management equipment issues the configuration file to a configuration device.
The opening process in the embodiment of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 2 and 3.
Generally speaking, an operator enters a station with a configuration device and arrives at an opening place to prepare to collect identification information of equipment to be configured. The identification information is used to uniquely identify the device to be configured, such as an electronic serial number ESN or a Media Access Control (MAC) address of the device to be configured.
In practical applications, the devices to be configured are in different application scenarios, and the specific entity forms may be different, for example: in the scenario described in the background, the device to be configured is an egress gateway device. For another example, the device to be configured may also be a vehicle gateway device.
In step 101, the configuration apparatus obtains identification information of a device to be configured, which may specifically include: and the configuration device scans the label of the equipment to be configured through the camera device on the configuration device to obtain the identification information. Specifically, the ESN code and MAC address of the device to be configured are printed in the device label of the device to be configured in the form of a bar code or a two-dimensional code at the time of production and manufacture. Therefore, the configuration device can obtain the identification information of the equipment to be configured only by combining the processing of the code scanning software by the camera device.
Of course, the operator may also manually input the identification information of the device to be configured, and then in step 101, the configuration apparatus obtains the identification information of the device to be configured through the input operation of the operator. For example, if there is no barcode or two-dimensional code on the device to be configured and the identification information is directly printed on the housing of the device to be configured, the operator may manually input the identification information into the configuration device. In practical applications, the configuration apparatus may also obtain the identification information of the device to be configured in other manners, which is not specifically limited in this application as long as the configuration apparatus can obtain the identification information of the device to be configured.
After the configuration apparatus obtains the identification information of the device to be configured, step 102 is executed to send the identification information to the management device. Accordingly, the management device receives the identification information of the device to be configured sent by the configuration apparatus, i.e. step 201 is executed.
Alternatively, the management device is, for example, a server provided at headquarters.
Optionally, the configuration apparatus sends the identification information to the management device, for example, through a cellular network or a wireless local area network.
After receiving the identification information, the management device executes step 202, that is, generates a configuration file of the device to be configured according to the network deployment plan related to the identification information. Specifically, each device to be configured is a certain level in the whole network deployment plan, and the functional configuration of each device to be configured is related to the network deployment plan. For example, if in a network deployment plan, a certain device to be configured needs to provide a network access service for a vehicle-mounted user to surf the internet, the management device may generate a configuration file of the device to be configured through the network deployment plan. After the device to be configured loads the configuration file, the function of network access service can be realized.
Generally, the configuration file includes an initial configuration file, such as a configuration of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and a configuration of a remote management channel. After the device to be configured is configured according to the configuration of the VPN, the device to be configured can support the VPN function so as to realize the VPN-based secure network connection spanning the enterprise private network between WAN/MAN. The configuration of the remote management channel is used for realizing the establishment of the management channel between the device to be configured and the management device. After the management channel is established, the management device may manage the device to be configured, for example, perform various network service configurations on the device to be configured. These configurations are the basic configurations in which the device to be configured can function properly.
Optionally, the configuration file further includes a license file corresponding to the identification information.
In particular, in some application scenarios, the device to be configured is required to support some specific functionality, but configuring the functionality requires a license file. Whether license files are needed or not is generally dependent on the deployment plan of the whole network and the configuration requirements of the devices to be configured, and the decision is made on the management device side. Therefore, when some specific functions are required, after receiving the identification information, the management device issues a license file corresponding to the identification information in addition to the initial configuration file. Correspondingly, the configuration device receives the license file which is sent by the management device and corresponds to the identification information, and sends the license file to the device to be configured. After the device to be configured loads the license file, the specific functions allowed by the license file can be supported.
It should be noted that, after receiving the identification information, the management apparatus itself may generate the license file. Or requesting the license server, generating the license file by the license server, then sending the license file to the management device, and then sending the license file to the configuration device by the management device.
Of course, in practical applications, the configuration file may also include other types of configurations, and specifically, the content of the configuration file may be determined by an actual network deployment plan.
After the management device generates the configuration file of the device to be configured, step 203 is executed, that is, the configuration file is sent to the configuration apparatus. Correspondingly, the configuration means executes step 103 of receiving the configuration file corresponding to the identification information sent by the management device.
Step 104 is executed next, that is, the configuration apparatus transmits the configuration file to the device to be configured, so that the device to be configured starts to operate according to the configuration file.
In practical applications, different devices to be configured may support different access modes, and even the same device to be configured may support multiple access modes, so the configuration apparatus may establish a management connection with the device to be configured through multiple access modes. Specifically, the device to be configured may support access through a management serial port, may also support access through a management internet access, may also support access through a USB interface, and may also support access through a Wireless Fidelity (WiFi). The management serial port is, for example, a serial port of the device to be configured, or a serial port extended through a bluetooth interface, or a serial port extended by inserting a bluetooth adapter.
For the device to be configured provided with the serial port or the network port, when the configuration device is connected with the device to be configured through the serial port or the network port, the configuration device can automatically connect the device to be configured after confirming the device to be configured again through the scanning label, and the configuration file is led into the device to be configured in a command line mode.
And for the serial port expanded through the Bluetooth interface or the serial port to be configured expanded by inserting the Bluetooth adapter, setting the MAC of the Bluetooth adapter as the MAC of the equipment to be configured. The configuration device can automatically discover the bluetooth adapter and perform matching according to the MAC. The issuer may also be prompted to confirm that the scanned device is connected. After the operator inputs the determined operation, the configuration device is automatically connected to the serial port of the equipment to be configured, and configuration is carried out through the command line of the equipment, so that the import of the configuration file is completed.
For the device to be configured supporting the USB interface, when the configuration device is connected with the device to be configured through the USB interface, the configuration device automatically selects a directory file for storing the configuration file to share the directory file in a U-disk form for the device to be configured to access. Therefore, the device to be configured can automatically acquire the configuration file in a USB flash disk open mode. In other words, the configuration device corresponds to a usb disk connected to the device to be configured.
For a device to be configured with a management network port, when the configuration device is connected to the device to be configured through the network port, the configuration device obtains a management network Protocol (IP) address configured by default on the management network port. And then accessing the IP address through telnet, and logging in the device to be configured according to a default user name and a default password. After logging in, the configuration device issues a command through telnet session, the device to be configured runs the command, loads the configuration file, sets the configuration file as the start configuration, and then resets the system. In this case, after step 102, the configuration apparatus further receives a default management IP address and a default user name and password issued by the management device. So that the configuration device can log in the equipment to be configured according to the user name and the password.
And for the equipment to be configured supporting the WiFi interface, opening WiFi in factory default configuration of the equipment to be configured. And enables DHCP and default gateway address in Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) corresponding to Service Set Identifier (SSID). When the configuration device identifies the device to be configured through the default SSID, the password under the SSID and the MAC address of the device to be configured and is connected to the device to be configured, the IP address of the configuration device and the default gateway address of the device to be configured are obtained through the DHCP. And then the configuration device accesses the default gateway address through telnet remote login, and logs in the device to be configured according to the default user name and the password. After logging in, the configuration device may issue a command through telnet session, the device to be configured runs the command, loads the configuration file, sets the configuration file to start configuration, and then resets the system.
In this case, the configuration device further receives a default SSID, a password under the SSID, and a default username and a password sent by the management device.
Therefore, prior to step 104, the method further comprises: the configuration device receives at least one piece of management account information of the equipment to be configured, which is sent by management equipment; the configuration device can establish management connection with the equipment to be configured through the management account information. Corresponding to the management device side, after step 201, the method further comprises: the management equipment sends at least one piece of management account information to the configuration device, so that the configuration device establishes management connection with the equipment to be configured through the management account information. Generally, the management device issues all management account information.
After the configuration device receives the management account information, an operator can select which way to establish a management connection with the device to be configured. Once the account number information is selected, if the management account number information is needed, the configuration device establishes a management connection with the device to be configured by using the management account number information. Taking WiFi connection as an example, the management account information includes a default SSID for connecting WiFi and a password under the SSID, and a default username and a password for logging in the device to be configured through telnet.
Therefore, the configuration device can establish communication connection with the device to be configured through the WiFi, the serial port, the USB interface, or the network port. Of course, the present application does not exclude the configuration apparatus from establishing communication connection with the device to be configured through other interfaces. The operator can select a suitable mode to establish connection between the configuration device and the device to be configured according to the interface support capability of the specific device to be configured.
In step 104, the configuration apparatus may transmit the configuration file to the device to be configured in various manners described above or in other manners.
After the device to be configured obtains the configuration file, the configuration file is configured to be a starting configuration, then the system is restarted, and the operation is started according to the configuration file. In this way, configuration of, for example, a wide area interface can be accomplished, enabling network connectivity to the management device. The device to be configured can automatically register with the management device, and a management connection is established, so that the management device can manage the device to be configured.
As can be seen from the above description, since the configuration apparatus can send the identification information to the management device when entering the station, the initial configuration of the device to be configured can be realized only by one-time entering operation of the staff. And the identification information of the equipment to be configured is sent to the management equipment by the configuration device, so that the installation and deployment relationship of the equipment does not need to be fixed in advance through strong management, and the networking of the equipment to be configured can be flexibly arranged. Therefore, the configuration method in the embodiment of the application can improve the opening efficiency and reduce the difficulty of planning and management.
Furthermore, the configuration file can be automatically generated by the management equipment, so that manual editing is avoided, and manual configuration errors are reduced.
Furthermore, the configuration device supports multiple connection modes, so that the limitation of the interface form of the multi-standby configuration equipment is small, and flexible equipment adaptation capability can be provided.
Furthermore, the technical level requirement on operators is low, and when a large number of devices to be configured are deployed at the same time, the devices can be deployed at the same time on site, so that the configuration efficiency is improved.
Optionally, the method further includes: the configuration device acquires the deployment position information of the equipment to be configured; and the configuration device sends the deployment position information to the management equipment so that the management equipment can store the deployment position information and perform asset management on the equipment to be configured according to the deployment position information.
The configuration device obtains the deployment position information of the device to be configured, specifically: and acquiring current position information of the configuration device as deployment position information of the equipment to be configured through a Global Positioning System (GPS) on the configuration device. As described above, the operator enters the station with the configuration device and arrives at the location where the device to be configured is deployed, so that the current position of the configuration device obtained by the GPS may be regarded as the deployment position of the device to be configured. Of course, in actual application, the deployment position information of the device to be configured may also be manually input by an operator, and then the configuration apparatus obtains the deployment position information of the device to be configured specifically through an input operation of a user.
Alternatively, the step of sending the deployment location information by the configuration device may be executed simultaneously with step 102, or may not be executed simultaneously. Preferably, the deployment location information and the identification information are carried in the same message.
And after the configuration device sends the deployment position information of the equipment to be configured to the management equipment, the management equipment stores the deployment position information when receiving the deployment position information. The storage form is, for example: identification information, deployment location information. Therefore, the management equipment can complete the introduction of the deployment position information of the equipment to be configured in the opening process, accurate and complete asset management information is constructed, and the subsequent asset management of a plurality of equipment to be configured is facilitated.
By the method, the identification information and the deployment position information of the equipment to be configured can be quickly and simply generated when the station enters once, and can be recorded in the management equipment without errors, so that the subsequent management is ensured to be correct.
Optionally, after step 201, the method further includes: and the management equipment issues a service detection script corresponding to the equipment to be configured to the configuration device.
