Abstract
The invention belongs to the technical field of radioactive solution storage, and particularly relates to a container for storing a plutonium solution sample. The container provided by the invention has the overall weight of about 1.5kg, has the characteristics of high safety and good sealing property compared with an ampoule bottle made of glass, is convenient to operate and transport, can be repeatedly used, and can be used for storing plutonium solution samples for a long time. The container for storing the plutonium solution sample provided by the invention adopts a double-layer structure and comprises an inner tank body (shown in figure 5) for hermetically storing the plutonium solution and an outer tank body (shown in figure 6) for hermetically storing the inner tank body, wherein the inner tank body and the outer tank body are both made of 316L stainless steel.

The top of the sealing cover 3 is a sealing structure for sealing the through hole on the injection port 2, and the bottom is a groove of a bell mouth shape corresponding to the top of the injection port 2.
The sealing cover 3 is positioned between the injection port 2 and the first top cover 4, the first top cover 4 is connected with the injection port 2 through threads on the outer side of the injection port 2, and the sealing cover 3 is pressed to enable the sealing cover 3 to seal a through hole of the injection port 2; the molding of first top cap 4 is polygon nut, can adopt the structure of hexagonal nut for example, and the operation of screwing up is carried out to the use of being convenient for instrument, is equipped with the round hole in the middle of first top cap 4.
The weight of the inner tank body is about 0.6kg, the whole size is about phi 30mm multiplied by 240mm, the volume in the cavity is about 88mL, and a certain space is reserved for the solution radiolysis to generate gas and release radioactive aerosol, so the volume of the liquid contained in the cavity is generally less than 40mL.
Because plutonium solution is highly toxic and will radiolyze to produce gas, releasing radioactive aerosol, an outer tank has also been designed in order to ensure safety. The inner tank sealing device further comprises an air tap 11 (see figure 7) used for testing the sealing performance of the inner tank body, the lower half part of the air tap 11 is matched with a bell mouth at the top of the injection opening 2, the upper half part of the air tap 11 is an air inlet pipe, the wall thickness of the air inlet pipe is 1.5mm, the inner diameter of the air inlet pipe is 5.7mm, the outer diameter of the air inlet pipe is 7.2mm, the length of the air inlet pipe is 55mm, and the top end of the air inlet pipe is provided with a certain slope, so that an air delivery pipe can be conveniently inserted into the air inlet pipe for pressurizing operation; air cock 11 can be fixed on injection mouth 2 through first top cap 4, and the round hole on first top cap 4 can be followed to the intake pipe and worn out.
Because plutonium solution radiolysis produces gas and release radioactive aerosol, consequently the gas in the inner tank body can form the malleation, replaces sealed lid 3 with gas nozzle 11, compresses tightly on injection opening 2 through first top cap 4, connects the gas-supply pipe in the intake pipe of gas nozzle 11, uses the air pump to suppress the internal portion of inner tank, then arranges the inner tank body in the aquatic and soaks, detects the inner tank body gas tightness. Experiments show that when the gas in the inner tank body is pressurized to 8kg, the sealing performance of the inner tank body is still good, and the air tap 11 is repeatedly disassembled, assembled and pressurized to test, so that the good air tightness can be kept, the inner tank body can be repeatedly used, and the sealing performance can be guaranteed.
After the air tightness detection is finished, the first top cover 4 and the air tap 11 are taken down, then the plutonium solution is transferred into the cavity of the inner tank body through a liquid transfer machine, and then the sealing cover 3 and the first top cover 4 are sequentially added on the injection port 2 and are screwed tightly for sealing; the sealed inner tank body is placed in the outer tank body, the sealing gasket 7 and the second top cover 8 are sequentially added to the top of the outer tank body, and the sealing effect is achieved by screwing the second fastening section 9 and the third fastening section 10.
