Technical Field
The present invention relates to a monitoring device and a monitoring system.
Background
Conventionally, a monitoring device that displays an image captured by a painting and calligraphy camera is known. The document camera captures an image of an object (for example, a book such as a textbook, paper, or the like) placed on the document table. On the other hand, a monitoring apparatus that performs imaging using a conference camera is also known. The conference camera photographs a space in which the monitoring apparatus is disposed.
Further, a technique has been proposed in which a document camera and a document table are housed in a housing of a monitoring device, and the document camera is configured to be rotatable, thereby using the document camera as a conference camera (for example, patent document 1).

As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the monitoring system 100 includes a monitoring apparatus 10, a stand 20, an imaging object 30, and an attachment mechanism 40.
The monitoring device 10 is a device that displays images such as a still image and a moving image. The monitoring device 10 has a monitor 11, a frame 12, a 1 st camera 13, and a 2 nd camera 14.
The monitor 11 constitutes a display that displays an image. The monitor 11 may have 4:3 or 16: the aspect ratio of 9 is not particularly limited. The monitor 11 may be formed of a liquid crystal panel or an organic EL.
The frame 12 has at least a lower frame 12A that supports the lower edge of the monitor 11. The frame 12 may be provided on the entire outer periphery of the monitor 11, but is not particularly limited.
The 1 st camera 13 is an example of an image pickup device provided in the lower frame 12A. The 1 st camera 13 is set such that the imaging direction of the 1 st camera 13 is the downward direction. The 1 st camera 13 functions as a painting and calligraphy camera for photographing an imaging target 30 placed on a pedestal 22 described later. The 1 st camera 13 may have an autofocus function for automatically focusing on the imaging target 30. The 1 st camera 13 may have a zoom function of zooming in or out the imaging object 30 captured by the 1 st camera 13. The 1 st camera 13 may have a function of changing an imaging direction in a left-right direction in a main view (hereinafter, referred to as a panning function) or a function of changing an imaging direction in a front-back direction in a side view (hereinafter, referred to as a tilting function).
At the lower frame 12A, the 1 st camera 13 is arranged to be spaced apart by a predetermined distance D with respect to a position (hereinafter, referred to as a reference position) where the lower frame 12A and the stay 21 intersect. The reference position is a position closest to the 1 st camera 13 among positions where the lower frame 12A and the stay 21 intersect. More specifically, the predetermined distance D may be a distance between the center position of the 1 st camera 13 and the reference position.
For example, the predetermined distance D is determined according to the size of the imaging object 30 assumed to be imaged by the 1 st camera 13. For example, when the imaging object 30 is a textbook of version A4, the predetermined distance D may be larger than the width (210 mm) of version A4. However, the imaging target 30 imaged by the 1 st camera 13 is arbitrary. The predetermined distance D may also be determined according to the width of the monitoring device 10, etc. The predetermined distance D may be determined according to the size of the imaging target 30 that can be supported by the monitoring apparatus 10. The size of the imaging object 30 that can be supported by the monitoring apparatus 10 may be explicitly indicated in a directory of the monitoring apparatus 10.
In fig. 1 to 3, the case where the 1 st camera is provided on the right side of the center of the monitoring apparatus 10 in the front view is illustrated, and therefore the 1 st camera 13 is disposed at a predetermined distance D from the position where the lower frame 12A and the support column 21A intersect. Further, it is a matter of course that the 1 st camera 13 is disposed at a predetermined distance D from a position where the lower frame 12A and the stay 21B intersect. That is, the 1 st camera 13 is disposed at a predetermined distance D from two positions where the lower frame 12A and the 1 pair of support columns 21 intersect.
The 2 nd camera 14 is provided on the lower frame 12A. The 2 nd camera 14 is set such that the imaging direction of the 2 nd camera 14 is the front direction. The 2 nd camera 14 functions as a network camera that captures images of a person or the like in a space (e.g., a classroom, a conference room, etc.) in which the monitoring apparatus 10 is installed. The 2 nd camera 14 may also have an autofocus function, a zoom function, a pan function, and a tilt function. However, the tilt function of the 2 nd camera 14 is a function of changing the imaging direction in the vertical direction in the main view. Fig. 1 to 3 illustrate an example in which the 2 nd camera 14 is provided at the center of the monitoring apparatus 10 at the time of main view, but the present invention is not limited to this.
The stand 20 is provided on the floor of a space (e.g., a classroom, a conference room, etc.) in which the monitoring apparatus 10 is disposed. The stand 20 supports the monitoring apparatus 10 in a state of being separated from the ground in the up-down direction. The stand 20 includes a support column 21, a pedestal 22, and a support mechanism 23.
The support column 21 extends in the vertical direction and supports the monitoring device 10. Fig. 1 to 3 illustrate an example in which 1 pair of support columns 21 (support column 21A and support column 21B) are provided as the support columns 21.
The base 22 supports the imaging object 30 imaged by the 1 st camera 13 in a state where the imaging direction of the 1 st camera 13 is the downward direction. The pedestal 22 is disposed across 1 pair of the support posts 21. Specifically, the base 22 is supported by a support mechanism 23 provided in 1 pair of the support columns 21.
The support mechanism 23 supports the base 22 so that the base 22 is horizontal. Fig. 1 to 3 illustrate an example in which the support mechanism 23 (support mechanism 23A and support mechanism 23B) is provided in each of 1 pair of columns as the support mechanism 23.
Here, the support mechanism 23 may be configured to be slidable in the vertical direction on the support column 21. For example, the support mechanism 23 may have a lock function of fixing the support mechanism 23 to the support column 21, a release function of releasing the state in which the support mechanism 23 is fixed to the support column 21, or the like. The solid position at which the support mechanism 23 is fixed to the support column 21 may be a predetermined position or an arbitrary position. That is, the stand 20 is configured such that the relative distance between the 1 st camera 13 and the pedestal 22 can be changed.
The imaging target 30 is an object imaged by the 1 st camera 13. The imaging target 30 may be a book such as a textbook, but is not particularly limited. The imaging target 30 may be an object (model, globe, etc.) having a size larger than a book in the vertical direction.
The mounting mechanism 40 is configured to be able to mount the support column 21 extending in the vertical direction on the rear surface of the monitor 11. For example, mounting mechanism 40 has a member 41 that extends in the up-down direction when viewed from the rear and a member 42 that extends in the left-right direction when viewed from the rear. For example, the member 41 is attached to the back surface of the monitor 11, the member 42 is attached to the member 41, and the stay 21 is attached to the member 42. The method of attaching each member may be a screw or a method using a screw, but is not particularly limited.
Fig. 2 illustrates a case where 1 pair of members 41 ( members 41A and 41B) as the members 41 are provided, and 1 pair of members 42 ( members 42A and 42B) as the members 42 are provided. However, the mounting mechanism 40 may be configured to be able to mount the strut 21. For example, where the monitoring device 10 has a wall hanging mechanism, the wall hanging mechanism can also be used as at least a portion of the mounting mechanism 40.

In the embodiment, the 1 st camera 13 is provided on the lower frame 12A that supports the lower side of the monitor 11, and the 1 st camera 13 is set such that the imaging direction of the 1 st camera 13 is the downward direction. With this configuration, the function of the painting and calligraphy camera can be realized by the 1 st camera 13 provided in the monitoring device 10 without enlarging the housing of the monitoring device 10.
In the embodiment, the 1 st camera 13 is disposed at the lower frame 12A at a predetermined distance D with respect to a position (reference position) where the lower frame 12A and the 1 pair of support columns 21 intersect. With such a configuration, the imaging object 30 can be placed on the pedestal 22 so that the center position of the imaging object 30 is located below the 1 st camera 13 in the left-right direction in the main view, and the imaging object 30 can be appropriately imaged by the 1 st camera 13.

A modified example 1 of the embodiment will be described below. Hereinafter, differences of modified example 1 from the embodiment will be mainly described.
In the embodiment, a case where the 2 nd camera 14 is provided is explained, and the 2 nd camera 14 functions as a network camera independently of the 1 st camera 13 functioning as a painting and calligraphy camera. In contrast, in modification 1, a case will be described in which the 1 st camera 13 functioning as a document camera also functions as a network camera.
Specifically, modification 1 will be described with reference to fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a side view of the lower frame 12A (the 1 st camera 13) of modification 1. In fig. 4, other structures such as the monitor 11 and the stand 20 are omitted for simplicity of explanation.
As shown in fig. 4, the 1 st camera 13 is configured to be rotatable about a rotation axis extending in the left-right direction in the front view. That is, the imaging direction of the 1 st camera 13 can be switched between the downward direction and the forward direction. In other words, the tilt angle of the 1 st camera 13 can be considered to be substantially 90 °.
In modification 1, the 1 st camera 13 has functions of both a painting camera and a network camera, and therefore the 2 nd camera 14 according to the embodiment need not be provided.

The seat 25 may have a bar shape extending in the left-right direction, a radial shape extending in 3 directions or more, or a plate shape such as a rectangular shape or a circular shape.
In modification 2, the 1 st camera 13 is disposed at a predetermined distance D from a position (hereinafter referred to as a reference position) where the lower frame 12A and the pillar 24 intersect with each other. The reference position is the position closest to the 1 st camera 13 among the positions where the lower frame 12A and the stay 24 intersect. 1. A monitoring device, wherein,

a monitor;

an image pickup element provided on the lower frame,
