The control method comprises the following steps: when EPB active parking is carried out, if the VCU monitors that the left caliper and the right caliper are not clamped simultaneously, the VCU immediately carries out instrument reminding to a driver to pull the EPB switch or the P-gear switch for a long time, enters an EPB emergency backup control state and confirms the caliper state again, and if the left caliper and the right caliper are not clamped simultaneously, the VCU carries out clamping control on the unilateral caliper, the parking success is ensured, and the requirement on the slope parking performance is met. Technical Field

Background
With the development of automobile technology, more and more new energy vehicle types tend to cancel a P gear locking mechanism, and in order to meet the braking and parking performance regulation requirements, a braking backup control system is required on vehicle types which are provided with an EPB electronic parking braking system and simultaneously cancel the P gear locking mechanism. When the EPB control system fails, the brake backup control system ensures that the whole vehicle can still meet the parking requirement of 8 percent of full load.
The technical scheme is that an independent EPB dual-redundancy controller is adopted, the controller is a dual-power supply control system, a dual-path CAN network is adopted, control loops of motors of left and right calipers are completely independent, mutual backup control is achieved, namely one path of caliper control fails, the other path of caliper control is relatively independent, the other path of caliper CAN be controlled, and the backup control is achieved so that the requirement of parking performance is met. However, from the development of the technical route of the ESC and the related EPB control requirements of the ADAS function of the whole vehicle, the ESC is integrated with the EPB control function, and the independent EPB dual redundant controller is adopted, so that the ESC is not integrated with the EPB function, and thus the technical scheme has limitations in vehicle application.
The other technical scheme is that a brake electric booster system is adopted, an EPB control function is required to be integrated in an ESC control system for a vehicle type with an ADAS L2 level function, the brake electric booster system is adopted at present, the brake performance is provided, the automatic driving requirement is met, and meanwhile backup control can be carried out on braking. However, many vehicles are not equipped with a brake electric booster for reasons of functional configuration and cost.
In view of the above-mentioned deficiencies of the prior art, the present invention provides an EPB emergency backup control system and method. By adopting the invention, the problem of brake backup control of a vehicle type without a P-gear executing mechanism can be effectively solved.

The invention has the advantages of low cost of the added parts and objects and realization of the maximum benefit of canceling the P-gear mechanism.
