Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of motorcycle/bicycle accessories, in particular to a spoked wheel for a vacuum tire and an installation method of the spoked wheel.
Background
Conventional spoked wheels typically provide a rim with perforations for mounting spokes. With the continuous development of the technology, the vacuum tire has been widely used due to its advantages of good adhesion and heat dissipation properties, low tire burst property, and the like. Because the vacuum tire is also called as a pneumatic tire without an inner tube, the requirement on the air tightness between the outer tire and the rim is obviously improved. In the prior art, after the spoke is installed, materials such as rubber and the like are generally used for blocking the spoke installation hole on the rim so as to realize the sealing of the rim. However, this mounting method is not only complicated in operation, but also prone to air leakage due to poor sealing.
Therefore, the development and research of a spoke wheel with simple structure and good air tightness become the problem to be solved in the technical field of vacuum tires.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is further described in detail with reference to the following embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
Fig. 1 and 2 show an embodiment of a spoked wheel according to the invention, generally comprising a rim 1, a hub 2 and spokes 3 for connecting the rim 1 and the hub 2. Referring to the enlarged view of the portion A of the spoked wheel shown in FIG. 3 and the schematic view of the hub 2 shown in FIG. 4, the inner wall of the rim 1 is circumferentially provided with blind threaded holes 11, the blind threaded holes 11 extending from the inner wall of the rim 1 circumferentially at an angle to the axis of the rim 1 but not penetrating through the rim 1, wherein the thickness of the rim 1 is preferably 15-20mm, and the depth of the blind threaded holes 11 is preferably 10-15 mm; the hub 2 is circumferentially provided with a through hole 21; the spokes 3, which have an elongated configuration, extend through the through holes 21 of the hub 2 and are connected to the rim 1 by means of the threaded blind holes 11 of the rim 1.
As shown in fig. 5, the spoke 3 may include an elongated spoke body 31 and first and second connection portions 32 and 33 at both ends of the spoke body 31. Wherein the second connection 33 may comprise a stop cap having a diameter greater than the diameter of the through-hole 21 in order to prevent the spoke 3 from passing entirely through the through-hole 21 of the hub 2.
In one embodiment of the invention, the first connection portion 32 may be provided with an external thread matching the internal thread of the threaded blind hole 11, so as to directly engage with the rim 1 by means of a threaded connection. As shown in FIG. 6, when mounting the spoke, first, the first connection part 32 and the spoke main body 31 of the spoke 3 need to be inserted through the through hole 21 of the hub 2, and cannot be inserted entirely through the through hole 21 due to the blocking of the stopper cap of the second connection part 33; secondly, screwing the first connecting parts 32 of the spokes 3 into the threaded blind holes 11 of the rim 1 to complete the installation of one spoke 3; finally, the above steps are repeated to complete the mounting of all the spokes 3, and the tightness of the spokes 3 and the concentricity of the rim 1 and the hub 2 are adjusted by rotating some of the spokes 3.
In another embodiment of the present invention, a spoked wheel includes a nut 4 for coupling the rim 1 and the spokes 3, the nut 4 may include a rim-engaging portion 41 and a spoke-engaging portion 42, wherein the rim-engaging portion 41 is provided with an external thread that mates with the internal thread of the threaded blind bore 11 of the rim 1 for engagement with the rim 1 by a threaded connection. The spoke-engaging portion 42 of the nut 4 and the first connection portion 32 of the spoke 3 can also be threadedly engaged, such as by providing a threaded bore in the spoke-engaging portion 42 and a mating external thread around the first connection portion 32. Alternatively, the spoke-engaging portion 42 of the nut 4 and the spoke 3 may be engaged by other mating means, such as, but not limited to, a snap-fit connection or the like. Taking the screw connection as an example, as shown in fig. 7, when mounting the spoke, first, the first connection portion 32 and the spoke main body 31 of the spoke 3 need to be passed through the through hole 21 of the hub 2, and cannot be passed through the through hole 21 as a whole due to the blocking of the stopper cap of the second connection portion 33; secondly, screwing the rim joint part 41 of the nut 4 into the threaded blind hole 11 of the rim 1 to realize the joint of the nut 4 and the rim 1; subsequently, the first connecting portion 32 of the spoke 3 is screwed into the spoke-engaging portion 42 of the nut 4, i.e. the mounting of one spoke 3 is completed; finally, the above steps are repeated to complete the mounting of all the spokes 3, and the tightness of the spokes 3 and the concentricity of the rim 1 and the hub 2 are adjusted by rotating some of the spokes 3. Alternatively, the order of some of the steps in the mounting process may be adapted, for example, by first completing the connection of the first connection portion 32 to the nut 4 and then connecting the nut 4 to the rim 1.
With continued reference to FIGS. 1-2, in yet another embodiment of the present invention, the inner wall of the rim 1 is circumferentially provided with a first row of blind threaded bores 11a1、11a2……11anAnd a second row of blind threaded holes 11b1、11b2……11bnCorrespondingly, the hub 2 is also circumferentially provided with two rows of perforations 21. Wherein the first row of blind threaded holes 11a1、11a2……11anAnd a second row of threaded blind holes 11b1、11b2……11bnTwo adjacent blind threaded holes 11a staggered with respect to each other, i.e. located in a first row and in a second row respectively1And 11b1(or 11 a)2And 11b2) Are arranged offset to each other on the curved inner wall of the rim 1. First row of threaded blind holes 11a1、11a2……11anAnd a second row of threaded blind holes 11b1、11b2……11bnThe inclined directions on the inner wall of the rim 1 are opposite to each other, i.e. if the first row of threaded blind holes 11a1、11a2……11anIs offset by an angle a towards one side of the axis of the rim 1, a second row of blind threaded holes 11b1、11b2……11bnIs offset by an angle a towards the opposite side of the axis of the rim 1. Wherein, the included angle a between the axis of the blind threaded hole 3 and the axis of the rim 1 can be set to be 10-20 degrees, and the included angle b between the axis of the through hole 21 and the axis of the hub 2 can be set to be 10-30 degrees. In this way, the mounted spokes 3 are staggered with respect to each other between the rim 1 and the hub 2, improving the stability of the spoked wheel.
The spoke wheel has simple structure, only needs to carry out tapping operation on the inner wall of the rim 1, and has simple process and extremely low processing cost. Because the threaded blind hole 11 does not penetrate through the inner wall of the rim 1, and the sealing step in the installation process of the spoke wheel is omitted, the problem of air leakage caused by poor sealing of the spoke installation hole is fundamentally solved.
The foregoing detailed description of the preferred embodiments of the invention has been presented. It should be understood that numerous modifications and variations could be devised by those skilled in the art in light of the present teachings without departing from the inventive concepts. Therefore, the technical solutions available to those skilled in the art through logic analysis, reasoning and limited experiments based on the prior art according to the concept of the present invention should be within the scope of protection defined by the claims.
