Abstract
The invention provides a gear shifter, which is provided with at least six stable positions, wherein the first stable position is an intermediate stable position serving as an N gear, the second stable position serving as a D gear can be reached by moving along a first direction from the first stable position, the third stable position serving as a motion mode can be reached by continuing moving along the first direction from the second stable position, the fourth stable position serving as a manual driving mode can be reached by continuing moving along the first direction from the third stable position, the fifth stable position serving as an R gear can be reached by moving along a second direction opposite to the first direction from the first stable position, and the sixth stable position serving as a P gear can be reached by continuing moving along the second direction from the fifth stable position. The gear shifter can realize the gear switching of a P gear, an R gear, an N gear, a D gear, a motion mode and a manual driving mode and the selection of the driving mode through one part, can integrate the gear switching and the driving mode selection into a whole, can effectively release the space of the whole vehicle, and reduces the number of parts.

With the development of passenger car technology, customers have higher requirements on the technology and the simplification of passenger cars, and the simple and easy-to-operate high-technology configuration is more and more popular, wherein the development of gear shifters is faster and faster. However, the conventional gear shifter mostly realizes gear shifting and driving mode selection by 2 or more solid parts. The gear switching of the P gear (parking gear), the R gear (reverse gear), the N gear (neutral gear) and the D gear (forward gear) is realized through one part, and the driving modes of a motion mode, a snow mode, a manual driving mode and an automatic driving mode are selected and switched through another part, so that the defects of complex assembly process, high cost, large occupied space and the like exist.

The following detailed description of embodiments of the present invention is provided in connection with the accompanying drawings and examples. The following examples are intended to illustrate the invention but are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.
The shifter of the invention has at least six steady state positions, wherein, the first steady state position is a middle steady state position as N gear, the second steady state position as D gear can be reached by moving along the first direction from the first steady state position, the third steady state position as a motion mode can be reached by continuing moving along the first direction from the second steady state position, the fourth steady state position as a manual driving mode can be reached by continuing moving along the first direction from the third steady state position, the fifth steady state position as R gear can be reached by moving along the second direction opposite to the first direction from the first steady state position, and the sixth steady state position as P gear can be reached by continuing moving along the second direction from the fifth steady state position.
The gear shifter according to the invention is further explained below with reference to an exemplary embodiment.
Example one
As shown in fig. 1, the shifter is a shift lever, which is disposed at the steering wheel. The driving lever is arranged at the steering wheel, so that the driver can operate the driving lever conveniently. The structure of the shift lever can be any form in the prior art. When the shifter is a shift lever, the first direction is a downward direction, and the second direction is an upward direction.
As shown in fig. 2, the middle stable position is N-shift, and the shift lever is shifted down, that is, the shift lever moves from the first stable position along the first direction, so that the shift lever reaches the second stable position serving as D-shift. Referring to fig. 3, when the current gear is the D gear, the shift lever continues to be shifted downward, i.e., the shift lever continues to move from the second stable position along the first direction, so that the shift lever reaches the third stable position as the movement mode. When the driving mode is the motion mode, the shifting lever is continuously shifted downwards, namely, the shifting lever continuously moves along the first direction from the third stable position point, so that the shifting lever can reach the fourth stable position point serving as a manual driving mode.
The middle stable position is N gear, the shifting lever is shifted upwards at the moment, namely the shifting lever moves from the first stable position along the second direction, and the shifting lever can reach the fifth stable position serving as R gear. Referring to fig. 4, when the current shift position is the R shift position, the shift lever continues to be shifted upward, i.e., the shift lever continues to move from the fifth stable position along the second direction, so that the shift lever reaches the sixth stable position, which is the P shift position.
The gear shifter can also be provided with a position sensor, gear position or driving mode information of the gear shifter is obtained through the position sensor, and the obtained gear position or driving mode information is sent to the controller, so that the controller controls the vehicle to perform corresponding gear position or driving mode switching. For example, when the shifter moves from a first stable position to a second stable position, namely, the shift lever is switched from the N-gear mode to the D-gear mode, the position sensor senses that the shift lever is located at the second stable position and sends the sensed information to the controller, and the controller controls the vehicle to be switched from the N-gear to the D-gear.
Example two
As shown in fig. 5, the shifter is a knob provided at the sub-console. The knob is arranged at the auxiliary instrument desk, so that the knob can be conveniently operated by a driver. The knob may be constructed in any form known in the art. When the gear shifter is a knob, the first direction is clockwise and the second direction is counterclockwise.
As shown in fig. 6, the middle stable position is N-shift, and the knob is rotated clockwise, i.e. the knob is moved from the first stable position in the first direction, so that the knob reaches the second stable position as D-shift. Referring to fig. 7, when the current gear is the D gear, the knob is continuously rotated clockwise, i.e., the knob is continuously moved from the second stable position along the first direction, so that the knob reaches the third stable position as the movement mode. When the current mode is the movement mode, the knob is continuously rotated along the clockwise direction, namely, the knob is continuously moved along the first direction from the third stable position point, so that the knob can reach the fourth stable position point as a manual driving mode.
The middle stable position is N gear, and the knob is rotated along the anticlockwise direction, namely the knob moves along the second direction from the first stable position, so that the knob can reach the fifth stable position which is the R gear. Referring to fig. 8, when the current shift position is the R shift position, the knob continues to be rotated counterclockwise, i.e., the knob continues to move from the fifth stable position point to the second stable position point, so that the knob reaches the sixth stable position point, which is the P shift position.
The gear shifter can also be provided with an angle sensor, gear or driving mode information of the gear shifter is obtained through the angle sensor, and the obtained gear or driving mode information is sent to the controller, so that the controller controls the vehicle to perform corresponding gear or driving mode switching. For example, the first stable position may be set to zero degrees, the angle that the knob moves in a clockwise direction from the first stable position is a positive angle, and the angle that the knob moves in a counterclockwise direction from the first stable position is a negative angle. When the gear shifter moves from the first stable position point to the second stable position point along the clockwise direction, namely the gear shifter is switched from the N-gear mode to the D-gear mode, the angle sensor can detect that the knob rotates by a certain positive angle, then the detected positive angle information is sent to the controller, and the controller controls the vehicle to be switched from the N-gear to the D-gear.
In summary, the shifter of the present invention has at least six stable positions, and the six stable positions are respectively provided with the P-gear, the R-gear, the N-gear, the D-gear, the movement pattern and the manual driving pattern, and the shifter moves in the first direction or the second direction opposite to each other to reach the six stable positions, so that the shift switching of the P-gear, the R-gear, the N-gear, the D-gear, the movement pattern and the manual driving pattern and the selection of the driving pattern can be realized by one component, the shift switching and the selection of the driving pattern can be integrated, the space of the whole vehicle can be effectively released, and the number of components can be reduced.
