The invention provides a method and a device for recording video materials of an animation video platform, wherein the video materials are read to perform label recording on the video materials; storing the label record, and matching the label record with the video material; and calling the label record, and reading the video material through the label record. The purpose of generating different video clips according to different use purposes is achieved through analysis and understanding of the video content and association of the content and time.
