In this specification, the schematic representations of the terms used above do not necessarily refer to the same embodiment or example. Furthermore, the particular features, structures, materials, or characteristics described may be combined in any suitable manner in any one or more embodiments or examples.
With the popularization of video monitoring systems in various industries and the continuous expansion of the application field of multimedia technologies, the post-processing of video data becomes more and more extensive. In the related art, the image information in the video record is acquired by adopting a mode of manually checking the record playback. However, the current video recording already presents the character of quantization in the sea, and on one hand, the adoption of the method can consume a great deal of manpower and time, and has the problems of low efficiency and high cost. On the other hand, because the video is normally played, some important information or information which the user wants to pay attention to is easily missed by manual checking. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a technology for efficiently and rapidly performing video playback.
Compared with the above manual video playback checking mode, another method for video playback with higher efficiency at present is to acquire images by a front-end network camera to form a video, and then write a mark in the video by a network video recorder for processing. When the playback is started, the user selects to play the videos with different marks at different rates, and the videos with different marks are processed by using different types of marks according to different types of videos set by the user. However, this method depends on whether the front-end network camera is collecting normally, whether the network video recorder receives the video recording of the front-end network camera, whether the network video recorder supports the network protocol of the current network camera, and so on. These factors can cause the video to be unsuccessfully played.
Based on the above, embodiments of the present invention provide a video playback method, an apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium, which do not use a mode of marking a video, but use an intelligent algorithm to implement that objects concerned (or interested) by a user are played at a normal rate, and objects not concerned are played at a multiple rate, so that not only the user requirements are met, but also the video playback efficiency is improved.
In a first aspect, as shown in fig. 1, the present invention provides a video playback method, including:
step S100: acquiring a video to be played back;
step S200: judging whether the video to be played back contains the interesting characteristics or not;
step S300: setting the playing speed of a first video segment containing the interesting characteristics as a first preset speed, and setting the playing speed of a second video segment not containing the interesting characteristics as a second preset speed;
step S400: and playing the video to be played back according to the set first preset speed and second preset speed.
In some embodiments, the video playback method provided by the embodiments of the present invention determines whether the video to be played back includes the feature of interest by obtaining the video to be played back, and sets the play rate of the first video segment including the feature of interest to a first preset rate; setting the playing speed of a second video segment which does not contain the interesting characteristics as a second preset speed; the video to be played back is played according to the set first preset speed and the second preset speed, so that objects concerned (or interested) by the user are played at a normal speed, and objects not concerned are played at a multiple speed, so that the user requirement is met, and the video playback efficiency is improved.
In some embodiments, the video playback method provided by the embodiments of the present invention may be applied to a network video recorder. In practical applications, for example, in security monitoring scenes, as shown in fig. 2, a front-end network camera collects images to form a monitoring video, and sends the monitoring video to a network video recorder. It can be understood that the network video recorder may also obtain the video in other manners, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention. The network video recorder receives the monitoring video sent by the network video camera through a UDP/TCP network protocol and stores the monitoring video in a hard disk (or other memories). The user selects playback, selects a face or a car to be focused from a face library or a garage during playback, or selects a face or a car or an object in a video during playback and drags and draws an area as an interesting feature. Meanwhile, the user needs to set a play rate of the object needing attention (second preset rate) and a play rate of the object not needing attention (first preset rate). And the network video recorder reads the data of the monitoring video and the interesting characteristics and playing speed set by the user from the hard disk and sends the data and the interesting characteristics and the playing speed to the intelligent algorithm library for identification. And the intelligent algorithm library identifies each frame of image of the monitoring video and returns the content information in each frame of image. The network video recorder judges whether the content information contains the interesting characteristics or not, namely whether the content information contains objects needing attention or not, sets the playing speed of a first video segment (containing one or more frames of images) containing the interesting characteristics as a first preset speed, and sets the playing speed of a second video segment (containing one or more frames of images) not containing the interesting characteristics as a second preset speed. And after the steps are completed, playing the video to be played back according to the set first preset speed and second preset speed.
In some embodiments, the playback rate (first predetermined rate) of the first recorded segment is set to be less than the playback rate (second predetermined rate) of the second recorded segment. For example, if the second predetermined rate is 1.0 times speed (normal speed), the first predetermined rate may be 0.5 times speed or 0.75 times speed, etc.; alternatively, the second preset rate is 2.0 times speed (multiple speed), and the first preset rate may be 1.0 times speed (normal speed), 1.25 times speed, or the like. The arrangement enables the objects concerned (or interested) by the user to be played slowly and objects not concerned to be played quickly, so that some important information or information which the user wants to pay attention to is obtained from the monitoring video more easily, and the efficiency of video playback is improved.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, if there are multiple network cameras, an exchanger is further required to be arranged between the network camera and the network video recorder, and the exchanger is configured to aggregate the code streams of the multiple network cameras to the network video recorder.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, the network video recorder may also be connected to a display for displaying the image being played back for viewing by the user.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 4, the step S200 of determining whether the video to be played back includes the feature of interest includes:
step S210: identifying the video to be played back to generate a feature code;
step S220: calculating the similarity between the feature codes and preset feature codes;
step S230: and judging whether the video to be played back contains the interesting features or not according to the similarity.
In some embodiments, the network video recorder identifies each frame of image of the video to be played back, and generates a corresponding feature code, wherein each frame of image corresponds to one feature code. And calculating the similarity between each feature code and a preset feature code (the feature code corresponding to the feature of interest), if the similarity is more than or equal to a specific value, judging that the feature of interest is contained, and classifying the frame image corresponding to the feature code into a first video segment. Similarly, if the similarity is lower than the specific value, it is determined that the feature of interest is not included, and the frame image corresponding to the feature code is classified as the second video segment.
In some embodiments, the method for calculating the similarity between each feature code and the preset feature code may use an euclidean distance algorithm, a manhattan distance algorithm, a minkowski distance algorithm, a cosine similarity algorithm, and the like, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
In a second aspect, the present invention provides a video playback apparatus, including:
the acquisition module is used for acquiring the video to be played back;
the judging module is used for judging whether the video to be played back contains the interesting characteristics;
the setting module is used for setting the playing speed of a first video segment containing the interesting characteristics as a first preset speed and setting the playing speed of a second video segment not containing the interesting characteristics as a second preset speed;
and the playing module is used for playing the video to be played back according to the set first preset speed and second preset speed.

The arrangement enables the objects concerned (or interested) by the user to be played slowly and objects not concerned to be played quickly, so that some important information or information which the user wants to pay attention to is obtained from the monitoring video more easily, and the efficiency of video playback is improved.
