9. The spout assembly of claim 8, wherein the retaining structure further comprises a second retaining portion projecting inwardly from the inner wall surface of the spout, the stop being located between the first retaining portion and the second retaining portion.
10. The spout assembly of claim 7, wherein the retaining structure comprises an end cap that is removably secured to the spout, the spout extends through the end cap, and the stop structure comprises a stop extending outwardly from the spout that abuts an inner wall surface of the end cap.
11. The spout assembly of claim 10 wherein the end cap is threadably coupled to the spout.
12. A dishwasher comprising a dishwasher body provided with a washing chamber and a spout assembly provided within the washing chamber, characterized in that the spout assembly is as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 11.
13. The dishwasher of claim 12, further comprising a rest rack located within the washing chamber, the spout assembly being mounted on the rest rack.
