Description
The present application claims priority of filing japanese patent applications having japanese patent office, application No. 2018-081422, and invention name "electronic device and program processing method" on 20/4/2018. The entire contents of the above application are incorporated by reference in the present application.
Technical Field
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an electronic device and a program processing method.
Background
In recent years, electronic devices such as time shift recorders and the like have been sold as recording and playing devices for recording broadcast programs at any time. Although the time shift recorder has the advantage that the user does not miss recording the program even if the user does not perform the reservation operation for each program, the user may record the program which is not interested in the user, and the efficiency in using the recording medium with limited storage capacity, such as a hard disk, is not high.
In addition, a general recording/playing device (non-time shift recorder) has a recording reservation function of automatically selecting a program and reserving recording based on preference information such as a program name or a person name registered in advance by a user through a keyword or the like at the time of recording reservation, but the recording reservation function often has a problem of "missed recording" according to a setting situation of the keyword.
As conventional techniques, there are, for example, a technique of creating new preference information by combining preference information introduced from another recording apparatus and reflecting the created preference information on recording schedule information, and a technique of automatically protecting (prohibiting automatic deletion) a program based on a keyword for automatic recording schedule in an automatically recorded program. However, in the prior art, there is no technology for accurately reserving and recording a program that a user who uses a recording and playing device wants to watch, and the program that the user wants to watch in an automatically recorded program may be deleted (for example, periodically and automatically deleted).

Detailed Description
The embodiments are described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides an electronic device comprising one or more processors, and one or more memories storing preset instructions; the one or more memories include a first storage portion and a second storage portion; the one or more processors are configured to read the preset instructions from the one or more memories and execute the preset instructions for: acquiring a first recording reservation, and circularly recording a program contained in the first recording reservation to the first storage part; acquiring a recommended program; and setting a second recording reservation for the recommended program not included in the first recording reservation, and recording the recommended program to the second storage section.
The first recording reservation may be a reservation for a loop recording of a program, may include a reservation recording channel, for example, a reservation recording channel is designated to record a program, may also include a reservation recording channel and a recording time, and may also include only a reservation recording time. The recording time (or time period) of the present disclosure may be, for example, a whole time interval such as "two weeks", "from 4 month 1 day to 4 month 15 days", or may be, for example, a periodic interval time period such as "two points to five points in the afternoon every day", or may be, for example, "from 4 month 1 day to 4 month 15 days" two points to five points in the afternoon every day ", which is not limited by the present disclosure. The program included in the first recording schedule means that the loop recording specified by the first recording schedule includes recording of the program.
Wherein the second recording reservation may be a reservation for recording of an individually specified program, for example, a reservation for recording of a recommended program not included in the first recording reservation. The recommended program in the present disclosure may include, for example, a recommended program acquired from a network side, a program recommended by the electronic device itself, a recommended program input by a user, and the like, and for example, a program viewed, recorded, and played by a past user is set as the recommended program by the electronic device itself. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
In some embodiments, the one or more processors are further configured to execute the preset instructions for: and after circularly recording the recommended program contained in the first recording reservation to the first storage part, moving or copying the recorded recommended program contained in the first recording reservation from the first storage part to the second storage part. The implementation of this process will be described in detail later.
In some embodiments, the one or more processors are further configured to execute the preset instructions for: acquiring an electronic program list; and if the channel corresponding to the acquired recommended program in the program information table is set as a loop recording channel of the first recording reservation, determining that the acquired recommended program is included in the first recording reservation.
In an example, if the channel corresponding to the acquired recommended program in the program information table (EPG) is set as the loop recording channel of the first recording reservation and the play time period of the acquired recommended program is included in the loop recording time period, it is determined that the acquired recommended program is included in the first recording reservation. For example, if the channel corresponding to the acquired recommended program a in the program information table is channel B, the playing time period is 1 pm to 2 pm, and the loop recording channel of the first recording reservation includes channel B, and the loop recording time period is 8 am to 8 pm, it is determined that the recommended program a is included in the first recording reservation.
According to the electronic device disclosed by the disclosure, a program contained in a first recording reservation can be recorded to the first storage part in a circulating manner by acquiring the first recording reservation, a recommended program is acquired, a second recording reservation is set for the recommended program not contained in the first recording reservation, and the recommended program is recorded to the second storage part, so that the missing of recording or the deletion of the program which a user wants to watch can be prevented.
The electronic device and the corresponding program processing method of the present disclosure are described in more detail below with reference to fig. 1.
Fig. 1 is a diagram showing a recording/playback apparatus according to an embodiment of an electronic device.
As shown in fig. 1, a display 109 and a speaker 108 are connected to an electronic device such as a recording/playback apparatus 1 capable of recording (recording) and playing back an arbitrary number of programs played back by a broadcaster in an arbitrary time slot. The recording/reproducing apparatus 1 may be, for example, a recorder (referred to as a "BD recorder") equipped with a drive device for driving a recording medium for recording and reproducing (such as a blu-ray disc) or a television apparatus having a function of the recorder built therein. The television device may be a Personal Computer (PC) capable of receiving programs or a portable terminal device having a display unit.
In addition, the program may be a content distributed by a distributor via a network or the like, in addition to a content broadcast by terrestrial digital broadcasting, BS broadcasting, CS broadcasting, or the like. The program may be content prepared by an information provider that can be acquired based on a predetermined condition when accessed by a user. Further, a program is also sometimes referred to as a stream or information. In addition, the program is composed of video and accompanying audio and music. The video includes at least one of a moving picture and a still picture or text (information represented by characters, symbols, or the like represented by the encoded code sequence).
The acquisition method of the program recorded by the recording/playback apparatus 1 is any of the following methods: a broadcast transmitted by a program provider (broadcasting station) using, for example, a space wave (radio wave), a program distributed by a program distributor (distributor) using, for example, a network such as an optical fiber (cable) or an Internet Protocol (Internet Protocol) communication network, a streaming video (stream) from a program provider (content server) on the network, a video transfer technique using a network function, and the like are received and played.
As shown in fig. 1, the recording/reproducing device 1 according to one embodiment includes a receiving unit 102, a demodulating unit 103, an MPEG processing unit 104, an output unit 105, a system control unit (main control block) 106, an operation input unit 107, a loop recording unit 110, an individual recording unit 111, a program assigning unit 112, an archive control unit 113, an archive determination unit 114, a program information management unit 115, a communication control unit 116, a program table generating unit 117, a memory 118, a first storage device H1, and a second storage device H2.
The receiving part 102 may be connected to the antenna 101. The output unit 105 is connected to a display (display unit) 109 for displaying video (video) and a speaker 108 for playing audio/sound (audio). The communication control unit 116 is connected to an external server 2 via the network 3. Further, at least one of the display 109 and the speaker 108 may be a device which acquires video or audio/sound from the recording and playback device 1 by, for example, wireless communication without contact. The display 109 and the speaker 108 may be provided integrally with the recording and reproducing apparatus 1.
In some embodiments, a television broadcast signal input from the antenna 101 to the receiving section 102 is converted into an IF (intermediate frequency) signal in the receiving section 102. The demodulation section 103 extracts a digital signal (TS: transport stream) from the IF signal and outputs the extracted signal to the MPEG processing section 104.
In some embodiments, the MPEG processing section 104 separates the TS into a video component (video), an audio/sound component (audio), and an EPG display SI (Service Information), and decodes the video (video) and the audio/sound (audio). The decoded video (video) data and audio/sound (audio) data are output from the output unit 105 to the display 109 and the speaker 108.
The system control unit (main control block) 106 totally controls the operation of each processing unit. The system control unit 106 also outputs various control commands corresponding to control inputs (operation instructions) received by the operation input unit 107 from a remote control terminal (remote controller: remote controller) or a tablet PC. The control instruction is, for example, an instruction to record a television broadcast (program), play recorded content (program), or the like.
The loop recording part 110 is a first recording control part that loops (loops) a program to the first storage device H1 based on a recording reservation (referred to as "first recording reservation") set according to a channel and a time period.
Specifically, the loop recording unit 110 performs loop recording (loop recording) for, for example, about two weeks on the basis of a preset first recording schedule, and for programs of 6 channels to the first storage device H1. In the first storage device H1, the programs of 6 channels are cyclically recorded (cyclically recorded) for a recording time of about two weeks, based on the recording control of the cyclic recording unit 110. The first storage device H1 is a first storage section that cyclically records programs by designating a channel and a time period. Such recordings that specify a channel (e.g., specify one or more channels) and time period and that periodically repeat the recording are also referred to as time-shift machine recordings.
In some embodiments, the loop recording is a recording (recording) mode in which a program that has been newly recorded (recorded) is sequentially overwritten by a program that has been deleted at the oldest recording (recording) date when no recording capacity remains. Further, the user (viewer) can arbitrarily set the number and period of channels cyclically recorded and the recording rate (data size). In other embodiments, the loop recording may be a method in which the loop recording is performed endlessly regardless of the recording capacity limit, or a method in which the recording cannot be continued when the recording capacity is not left, for example. Hereinafter, a manner of performing loop recording is described in detail by taking an example of a case where when no recording capacity is left, a program with the earliest recording (recording) date is sequentially deleted, and a new program is recorded at the deleted position, but in some embodiments, the other two recording manners are also applicable, and both of them belong to the protection scope of the present disclosure, and will not be described in detail herein.
The individual recording section 111 is a second recording control section that records the program in the second storage device H2 according to a recording schedule (so-called PVR (Personal Video Recorder) recording) that is individually set in a manner different from the loop recording. Specifically, the individual recording unit 111 records (records) an arbitrary program instructed based on a second recording reservation set in accordance with an instruction for a recording reservation through the operation input unit 107, an instruction for an external recording reservation through the network 3, or the like.
By the recording control of the individual recording unit 111, an arbitrary program is recorded (recorded) in the second storage device H2 based on a preset second recording reservation or an instruction of a recording reservation from the outside. That is, the second storage H2 is a second storage section for recording and playing back programs individually designated in a manner different from the loop recording.
The memory 118 is set (stored) with a first recording reservation, a second recording reservation, and the like. The memory 118 stores a program management table 21 (see fig. 2). As shown in fig. 2, the program management table 21 may have at least a program ID field and a protection field, where the protection field may set a protection flag, for example, "1", for a program to be protected, and the protection field may set a non-protection flag, for example, "0", for a program that is not the program to be protected. In addition, the program management table 21 may have fields such as a title, a play date, a start time, an end time, and a Channel (CH). In some embodiments, the program management table 21 may contain only the program information in the first storage means H1. In some embodiments, the program management table 21 may contain program information in the first storage H1 and the second storage H2. In addition, the memory 118 stores therein user preference information transmitted to the server 2, recommended program information acquired from the server 2, and the like. The user preference information indicates the past situations where the user viewed, recorded, and played the program.
Specifically, the program management table 21 contains the operation contents and program IDs of remote control and attribute information of programs related thereto. The operation contents of the remote control include, for example, a keyword and an EPG inputted by a user at the time of viewing, recording, and playing, selection and determination operations of a program bar of a past program table of a time shifter, and the like.
The communication control unit 116 is a recommendation information acquisition unit that is connected to the server 2 via the network 3, reads the user preference information stored in the memory 118, transmits the user preference information to the server 2 via the network 3, and acquires recommended program information suitable for the user preference from the server 2.
The program distribution unit 112 distributes the program scheduled for recording to be recorded by either the first recording schedule of the loop recording unit 110 or the second recording schedule of the individual recording unit 111 based on the recommended program information acquired by the communication control unit 116 from the server 2 as the archive information provider.
In addition, in some embodiments, the recommended program information obtained by the program distribution section 112 is derived from local recommendation or human selection.
In addition, the program allocating section 112 searches the acquired recommended program and its channel and the broadcast time slot of the recommended program in the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) information, and sets the recommended program as the second recording reservation when the channel of the recommended program is a channel other than the loop recording target, thereby preventing the program that the recording user wants to watch from being missed; and when the channel of the recommended program is in the loop recording object and the playing time period of the recommended program is in the loop recording time period, the recommended program is not set as the second recording reservation.
In addition, when the information of the recommended program includes a rebroadcast program and the recording reservation of a program having the same program name is set a plurality of times in the first recording reservation or the second recording reservation, the program distribution section 112 excludes the program from the first recording reservation and sets only one recording reservation in the second recording reservation. Rebroadcast refers to the same program being played at least twice and, correspondingly, may also be recorded at least twice. For example, if program B is played once every morning at 9 to 10 am and re-played once every afternoon at 1 to 2 pm, and the recording time specified by the first recording schedule is 8 am to 8 pm every day, the same program B will be recorded twice a day. In this case, only one recording reservation may be set for program B in the second recording reservation, for example, only programs broadcast from 9 am to 10 am are recorded.
That is, the program distribution unit 112 executes distribution control of the recording reservation or selects a program to be archived from among the programs that have been recorded, based on the determination conditions whether the recommended program is included in the first recording reservation for loop recording or whether the channel of the recommended program and the broadcast time slot of the recommended program are included in the channel for which loop recording is completed and the time slot for which loop recording is completed, respectively.
Archiving means that the program to be protected is moved from the storage area of the first storage means H1, which is cyclically recorded and deletes programs in sequence by overwriting every fixed period, to the storage area of the second storage means H2, and is protected from being deleted by overwriting. There are various means for protecting programs, and the present disclosure does not limit the means, for example, overwriting deletion may be prohibited, encryption protection may be performed, deletion may be modified only with a specific right, and the like.
Further, the protection target program is, for example, a program broadcast from a program that the user viewed or recorded in the past, or a program that matches a recommended program obtained from the server 2 (a program whose program name or performer is similar to the program name or performer in the program genre preferred by the user), or one of programs that are repeatedly replayed, a series of programs thereof, or the like.
The archive determination unit 114 compares the attribute information (information of the memory 118) of the program recorded in the first storage device H1 with the program retrieved by the program allocation unit 112, and determines a program to be protected by archiving.
Specifically, the archive determination unit 114 specifies, as a protection target program, a program having a similar characteristic to the recommended program among the programs deleted in order from the program having the earliest recording date by the overwriting recording (overwriting recording) of the loop recording, and notifies the program information management unit 115 of the specified protection target program.
In some embodiments, the archive determination section 114 may determine programs similar to the recommended program characteristics found among the programs to be deleted in order from the program whose recording date is the earliest as the protection target program and move or copy to the second storage device H2, according to the overwriting recording (overwriting recording) of the loop recording, and send a notification to the program information management section 115.
In some embodiments, the archive determination section 114 may also view a record on a program that has been overwritten for deletion, where a recently deleted record (e.g., a deleted record of the last week) is recoverable, and the archive determination section 114 determines a program similar in characteristics to the recommended program in the record as the protection target program and notifies the program information management section 115. The program information management section 115 may restore the program and store it in the second storage device H2.
In some embodiments, the archive determination section 114 may also view a record about a program that has been deleted by being overwritten, determine a program among them that is similar to the recommended program feature as the protection target program, and notify the program information management section 115. The program information management unit 115 may identify the program to be protected and set a second recording schedule for the program so that the program is recorded in the second storage device H2 for protection by the individual recording unit 111. This embodiment is applicable, for example, to a case where there is no program corresponding to the recommended program in both the first and second storage devices in the archiving operation.
In addition to the program ID of the program cyclically recorded in the first storage device H1, the title of the program concerned, and the recording time (start time, end time), the archive determination section 114 extracts the program ID of the rebroadcast program in the case where the program is a rebroadcast program, and compares the extracted program ID with the feature information of the recommended program acquired by the program allocation section 112. Further, in the case where the rebroadcast program cannot be determined by the program ID, in some embodiments, it may also be determined whether the rebroadcast program is a rebroadcast program by confirming whether the flag "re" of the rebroadcast program is included in the attribute information of the program.
For example, when it is known from the extracted program ID that the program is a rebroadcast program, the rebroadcast program is included in the recommended program, and the recording reservation of the same program is set a plurality of times in the first recording reservation, the archive determination unit 114 sets one of the plurality of programs as a protection target after loop recording. In this case, the program recorded at the beginning or the program recorded at the end is used as the program to be protected. In one example, the program with the earliest recording date among the rebroadcasts recorded in the first storage device H1 may be set as the protection target program because the program with the earliest recording date is usually deleted by overwriting first. It is to be understood that if the electronic device employs a different overwriting deletion manner (for example, overwriting only programs from 5 to 7 am), a program that is to be overwritten and deleted first (in this example, not necessarily a program with the earliest recording date) may be set as the protection target program. That is, the archive determination unit 114 determines a program matching or similar to the feature of the recommended program as a protection target by comparison, and notifies the program information management unit 115 of the information of the program.
The program information management section 115 manages attribute information about a program. Specifically, the program information management unit 115 sets "1" in the protection field corresponding to the program ID of the program and "0" in the protection field corresponding to the program ID of the program not to be protected in the program management table 21.
A protection column corresponding to a program ID that is not a program to be protected may be set to "0" as a default value in advance. Thus, the attribute information of the program stored in the first storage device H1 is saved and managed. The archive determination unit 114 may directly set protection in the program management table 21, in addition to the program information management unit 115.
The program information management unit 115 manages attribute information of the recorded program by the program management table 21 (see fig. 2). When the information of the program notified by the archive determination unit 114 is new information, a new record is set in the example of the program management table 21 shown in fig. 2, and the program information is stored and managed by the program ID of the program.
When overwriting recording is performed at a predetermined time, for example, by loop recording, the archive control unit 113 refers to the program management table 21 (see fig. 2) and moves the program to be protected from the first storage device H1 (before the program to be protected is overwritten) to the second storage device H2 in advance. In an example, the programs set as the protection objects are moved from the first storage H1 (before the protection object programs are overwritten) to the second storage H2 in chronological order. In one example, the protection object program is deleted after being moved from the first storage H1 to the second storage H2. In addition, the program may not be moved but may be copied (copy) program.
Note that, the program to be protected is moved from the first storage device H1 to the second storage device H2 not only when the program is overwritten by the loop recording but also when the reception (playback) or recording of the program is not performed in the background, for example.
Specifically, the movement of the protection-target program is performed by copying (copy) the protection-target program from the first storage H1 to the second storage H2 and deleting the same program held by the first storage H1 from the overwriting recording based on the loop recording.
The archive control section 113 stores the past situations of programs viewed, recorded, and played by the user (titles and channels related to program IDs, key operations of remote control (recording key, play key, view key, keyword of selected program, etc.)) as user preference information in the memory 118. The archive control unit 113 moves programs that have been set to "1" in the protection column of the program management table 21 and have not been moved (archived) to the second storage device H2 from the first storage device H1 to the second storage device H2 in the order of the morning to the evening. After the movement is completed, the archive control unit 113 notifies the program information management unit 115 of completion of the above-described steps.
The archive control unit 113 functions as a program protection unit, and when the program distribution unit 112 searches the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) information and, as a result, the channel of the program corresponding to the recommended program is a channel to be cyclically recorded that is set as a recording reservation (first recording reservation) for the cyclic recording and the broadcast time slot of the recommended program is included in the cyclically recorded time slot, the archive control unit protects the program corresponding to the recommended program that is cyclically recorded in the first storage device H1 by the cyclic recording unit 111 by moving it from the first storage device H1 to the second storage device H2.
When the recommended program information includes a rebroadcast program and the first recording reservation is set a plurality of times with the same program ID, the archive control unit 113 sets "1" in the program management table 21 to protect one program (for example, a program recorded before) from among a plurality of programs after loop recording. Here, the program ID of the rebroadcast program is the same as the program ID when the program is first broadcast.
The program table generating section 117 generates program table data (EPG data) based on EPG (electronic program table) information acquired from the outside under the control of the system control section 106 by performing a display operation of the EPG (electronic program table) when the user views a program or when recording is scheduled. The program table data (EPG data) is converted into a program table display signal by the output section 105 and output to the display 109. As shown in fig. 3, the program table displayed on the screen of the display 109, that is, the EPG displays a program column of a program list capable of specifying a play with a time period (vertical axis) and a channel (horizontal axis) in a table form (cell form).
The program table generating unit 117 generates program table data (time shift past program table data) based on the attribute information of the program that has been recorded under the control of the system control unit 106 by a display operation of the time shift past program table performed by the user at the time of playing the program or the like. The output unit 105 converts the program table data (time shifter past program table data) into a program table display signal and outputs the program table display signal to the display 109.
The time shift past program table data is a list for playing a recorded program having a program field for displaying program information (part of information of EPG (electronic program table) information such as program content and performer) including a title (program name) of the recorded program that can be played, based on attribute information (program information at the time of recording the program) of the recorded program, the time shift past program table displayed by the display 109 is substantially the same form as the EPG shown in fig. 3, and the program field in which the recorded program can be specified is displayed in a table form (cell form).
The server 2 includes a communication unit 201, a recommendation information generation unit 202, and a storage unit 203, and permits the recording/playing device 1 to access the communication unit 201, access the recommendation information generation unit 202, and copy (download) of recommendation information from the recommendation information generation unit 202 to the recording/playing device 1 in response to an information provision request from the recording/playing device 1 via the network 3. Further, the information providing service of the server 2 is sometimes also referred to as a cloud service or cloud.
The communication unit 201 of the server 2 acquires user preference information for generating information of recommended programs from the recording/playing device 1 connected to the network 3, and delivers the information to the recommendation information generation unit 202 while storing the information in the storage unit 203. The communication unit 201 receives the information on the recommended program generated by the recommended information generation unit 202 and transmits the information to the recording and playing apparatus 1 via the network 3. The recommendation information generation unit 202 generates information of recommended programs suitable for the user preferences and stores the information in the storage unit 203.
The storage unit 203 stores therein the user preference information acquired by the communication unit 201 from the recording/reproducing apparatus 1 and the information of the recommended program generated by the recommended information generation unit 202. In addition, the network 3 is connected to a broadcasting station server, for example, an original EPG storing the next announcement of an arbitrary program or its broadcasting station, and supplies it to the recording and playing apparatus 1 as necessary.
Hereinafter, the operation of the recording and reproducing apparatus 1 according to one embodiment will be described with reference to the flowchart of fig. 4. In the recording/reproducing apparatus 1, the communication control section 116 acquires recommended program information suitable for the user preference from the server 2 according to the past situations of the user viewing, recording, and reproducing programs (step S101 of fig. 4), and passes it to the program assigning section 112.
Since the recommended program acquired from the server 2 includes the program ID and the program name (title) and channel thereof related thereto, the program assigning section 112 retrieves the program and channel thereof corresponding to the recommended program from the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) information (step S102).
The program distribution section 112 determines whether or not the program is outside the target of loop recording by checking whether or not the program retrieved by retrieving the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) information is set as the first recording reservation (step S103).
If the program is not to be cyclically recorded (yes in step S103), the program assigning unit 112 sets the program to the second recording reservation of the individual recording unit 111 (step S104).
When the program is to be cyclically recorded (no in step S103), the program assigning unit 112 notifies the archive determination unit 114 of the program information, and the archive determination unit 114 notifies the program information management unit 115 of the program determined to be archived, and sets "1" in the protection field corresponding to the program ID of the program in the program management table 21 to perform protection setting (step S105).
Further, a first recording reservation for recording a program to the first storage means H1 by designating a channel and a time period is set in advance.
Then, when the respective recording schedule times of the first recording schedule and the second recording schedule are reached, the respective recording units (the loop recording unit 110 and the individual recording unit 111) start recording, and when the recording end time is reached, the recording is ended (steps S106 to S109).
At this time, the loop recording unit 110 records the data to the first storage device H1. The individual recording section 111 records the program using the second storage device H2 in a manner different from the loop recording. Further, attribute information of each recorded program is stored in the memory 118, and a part of the information is stored in the program management table 21.
Before or after recording, at a predetermined time other than during recording, the archive control unit 113 refers to the program management table 21 and moves the program corresponding to the recommended program, which is set for protection among the programs cyclically recorded in the first storage device H1, from the first storage device H1 to the second storage device H2 for protection.
As described above, according to the recording and playing apparatus 1 of this embodiment, the recommended program information based on the user's personal preference is acquired from the server 2 on the network 3, and based on the recommended program information, the first recording reservation using the loop recording and the recording reservation of the individual electronic program table are allocated, and both recording reservation methods do not repeat recording of the same program, and in the case where the recommended program is loop recorded, the program is archived as a protection target. In addition, when the recording reservation is set so that a rebroadcast program having the same content is recorded a plurality of times, only one program is recorded. In this way, by realizing the cooperation of the program recording reservation function of the loop recording in which the program recorded earliest after a certain time is automatically deleted and the recording reservation function of the individual program, it is possible to prevent the program that the user wants to watch from missing or being deleted and to eliminate the duplicate recording.
Further, since the function of automatically reserving a recommended program suitable for the preference of the user can be performed even in the loop recording by the automatic element of "recommendation" rather than by the manual operation which is troublesome, the capacity of a recording medium such as an HDD whose storage capacity is limited can be saved, and the recording medium can be efficiently used.
In the above embodiment, the recommendation information generation unit 202 is provided in the server 2 on the network 3, and the information of the recommended program is acquired by the communication between the server 2 and the recording and playing device 1, but the recommendation information generation unit 202 may be provided in the recording and playing device 1, and the acquisition function of the recommended program may be completed inside the device.
In the above embodiment, when the recommended program is a program to be cyclically recorded, the program may be moved to the second storage device H2 after being cyclically recorded, but the program may be copied (copy) to the second storage device H2 in a state where the program is left in the first storage device H1 after being cyclically recorded, in preference to the storage capacity, or the program may be set to be prohibited from being overwritten or prohibited from being deleted so that the program is not overwritten during the cyclic recording.
In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a program processing method of an electronic device, including: acquiring a first recording reservation, and circularly recording a program contained in the first recording reservation to the first storage part; acquiring a recommended program; and setting a second recording reservation for the recommended program not included in the first recording reservation, and recording the recommended program to the second storage section.
