Description
Technical Field

Background
Control panels on existing image forming apparatuses (e.g., multifunction printers, copiers, etc.) are generally directly operable by a user; the technical scheme of lacking management and control on the operation of the control panel of the image forming device easily causes some default settings set by an administrator to be illegally tampered, so that the image forming device cannot be effectively managed and controlled, and further potential safety hazards are brought.

For another example, the control panel of the image forming apparatus may be easily activated to perform copying and scanning functions, and if some confidential documents are illegally acquired by a user without authority operation, a backup is made by the image forming apparatus; this is also a technical problem which has long eluded those skilled in the art.
In view of the above technical problems, the prior art also provides solutions, such as directly locking or removing the operation surface for image formation; then adding a special authority monitoring terminal or server, and after the authority monitoring terminal or server passes the user identity authentication, sending an enabling control instruction corresponding to a key on a control panel by the authority monitoring terminal or server; so that the image forming apparatus can perform the corresponding operation.
This solution is obviously not good for user experience, and the user needs complex application authentication; but also increases the hardware cost of the entire image forming system.
Disclosure of Invention

when the operation panel is in a locked state and a key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus does not respond to the imaging process or the parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the image forming apparatus includes a memory storing an operating system and a memory storing an application program corresponding to a control operation panel;

Confirmation button 118: the confirmation key 118 is matched with an up key, a down key, a left key and a right key, the left key can be used as a main menu option key, the right key can be used as a return key, the up and down keys are used for adjusting options, and the functions of keeping the corresponding options can be determined through the confirmation key 118.
Of course, the keys of the control panel 110 on the image forming apparatus 100 are not limited to the upper side, and for example, when the image forming apparatus also supports a facsimile function, the control panel 110 also needs to be provided with corresponding facsimile setting keys and corresponding data keys. The corresponding number of consecutive times may be determined in accordance with actual items and user requirements, for example, 2 times, 3 times, 4 times, 5 times, 6 times, 7 times, 8 times, 9 times, 10 times, etc. The continuous multiple failures can be the failures of the operations of different combined keys or the failures of the continuous multiple operations of the same combined key; these different embodiments are all within the scope of protection of the technical solution provided by the present invention. The predetermined time may also be determined according to actual items and user requirements, for example, 15 seconds, 20 seconds, 25 seconds, 30 seconds, 35 seconds, 40 seconds, 50 seconds, 60 seconds, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 5 minutes, 6 minutes, 7 minutes, 8 minutes, 9 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 25 minutes, 30 minutes, and the like.
The unlocking operation is not processed in the preset time, and any signal conversion operation is not executed after the operation panel receives the operation information input by the user; the operation panel may still transmit according to a predetermined instruction, but the subsequent processing module, such as the panel control unit or the unlocking processing module, does not execute the corresponding function.
As shown in fig. 6, the administrator may log in the web page corresponding to the image forming apparatus, enter the unlock key setting page, or customize the number of combination keys, for example, two keys or three keys, or more combinations; also in a preferred implementation, repeated keystrokes are not selected. The predetermined sequence includes pressing simultaneously, or pressing according to a preset priority sequence and interval time. A preset time, for example 10s, may also be set to determine the timeout parameter.
It should be noted that the unlocking manner provided by the present embodiment is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment; for example, a user authentication module is provided inside the image forming apparatus or connected to the outside of the image forming apparatus; after the user identity authentication module passes the authentication, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus may be input with information representing that the user authentication passes, so that the user presses a predetermined unlocking key on the control panel to start unlocking the operation panel of the image forming apparatus.
In this preferred embodiment, the method further comprises: when the operation panel is in the locked state, the display module in the operation panel outputs display information (for example, as shown in fig. 7) representing the locked state; when the operation panel is in the unlocked state, the display module in the operation panel outputs display information (for example, as shown in fig. 8) representing the current image forming apparatus state.
In addition, the present embodiment also provides an image forming apparatus (e.g., the above-described image forming apparatus 100, image forming apparatus 200) including:
a control panel mounted on the frame of the image forming apparatus, the control panel being provided with a key for image forming processing;
an engine module and an internal control system for controlling the engine module, which are provided in the frame of the image forming apparatus;
the internal control system is configured to: when at least one condition is met in the conditions that overtime is not operated, identity authentication fails and the continuous unlocking times exceed a threshold value, an internal control system of the image forming device directly controls an operation panel to be in a locked state;
when a user can input a correct unlocking key on the operation panel within preset time and preset times, the internal control system of the image forming device directly controls the operation panel to be in an unlocking state;
when the operation panel is in an unlocked state and a key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming device can execute imaging processing or parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key;
when the operation panel is in a locked state and a key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus does not respond to the imaging process or the parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key.
In the image forming apparatus preferably provided in this embodiment, the image forming apparatus includes a memory storing an operating system and a memory storing an application program corresponding to the control operation panel;
when the operation panel is in the locked state and the key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus does not respond to the imaging processing or parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key, and the method specifically includes: under the condition that the application program of the operation panel receives at least one condition of no operation in overtime, failure in identity authentication and the number of continuous unlocking times exceeding a threshold value and meets the requirement, when the key of the operation panel is pressed, the application program of the operation panel judges whether the key corresponds to the unlocking key, if not, the operation instruction corresponding to the key cannot be transmitted to the operation system, and the next key input information is continuously waited;
when the operation panel is in the unlocked state and the key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus can perform the imaging process or the parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key, which specifically includes: and the application program of the operation panel analyzes the operation instruction corresponding to the key and transmits the corresponding operation instruction to the operation system.
In the image forming apparatus preferably provided in this embodiment, the timeout non-operation includes that the operation panel does not receive information that the key is operated within a first preset time period, and/or that the image forming apparatus does not receive a job within a second preset time period; the identity authentication failure comprises that a preset unlocking key on the control panel is not correctly pressed, and/or a user identity authentication module associated with the image forming device does not receive user identity information meeting a preset requirement; the unlocking key includes combining at least two predetermined keys in the control panel, and the internal control system of the image forming apparatus receives the unlocking information when the at least two predetermined keys are pressed in a predetermined order.
Of course, the image forming apparatus provided in this embodiment can also execute the control method of the control panel for the image forming apparatus, and details are not described herein again.
By adopting the technical scheme provided by the embodiment, the operation condition of the operation panel for locking can be better determined according to the time-out non-operation, the identity authentication failure and the continuous unlocking times, the locking operation of the control panel is directly realized through the control system in the image forming device, and the unlocking of the control panel of the image forming device is completed by using the keys on the control panel; the method provides an effective, simple and convenient safety control scheme for the control panel without increasing the hardware cost.

Claims (11)
1. A method for controlling a control panel for an image forming apparatus, comprising:
when at least one condition is met in the conditions that overtime is not operated, identity authentication fails and the continuous unlocking times exceed a threshold value, an internal control system of the image forming device directly controls an operation panel to be in a locked state;
when a user can input a correct unlocking key on the operation panel within preset time and preset times, the internal control system of the image forming device directly controls the operation panel to be in an unlocking state;
when the operation panel is in an unlocked state and a key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming device can execute imaging processing or parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key;
when the operation panel is in a locked state and a key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus does not respond to the imaging process or the parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key.
2. The control method according to claim 1, wherein the image forming apparatus includes a memory storing an operating system and a memory storing an application program corresponding to a control operation panel;
when the operation panel is in the locked state and the key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus does not respond to the imaging processing or parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key, and the method specifically includes: under the condition that an application program of an operation panel receives at least one condition of no operation in time-out, failure in identity authentication and the number of continuous unlocking times exceeding a threshold value and meets requirements, when a key of the operation panel is pressed, the application program of the operation panel judges whether the key corresponds to an unlocking key, if not, an operation instruction corresponding to the key cannot be transmitted to the operation system, and the next key input information is continuously waited;
when the operation panel is in the unlocked state and the key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus can perform the imaging process or the parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key, which specifically includes: and the application program of the operation panel analyzes the operation instruction corresponding to the key and transmits the corresponding operation instruction to the operation system.
3. The control method according to claim 1, wherein the timeout non-operation includes that the operation panel does not receive information that a key is operated within a first preset time period, and/or that the image forming apparatus does not receive a job within a second preset time period.
4. The control method according to claim 1, wherein the authentication failure includes that a predetermined unlock key on the control panel is not correctly pressed, and/or that a user identity authentication module associated with the image forming apparatus does not receive user identity information satisfying a predetermined requirement.
5. The control method according to claim 1, wherein the unlocking key includes a combination of at least two predetermined keys in the control panel, and the internal control system of the image forming apparatus receives the unlocking information when the at least two predetermined keys are pressed in a predetermined sequence.
6. The control method according to claim 5, wherein the image forming apparatus is provided with a web page management module that determines the unlock key based on input key combination information; the webpage management module determines an overtime parameter based on the input preset time; and/or the webpage management module determines the continuous unlocking times based on the input time information.
7. The control method according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized by further comprising: when the operation panel is in a locked state, a display module in the operation panel outputs display information representing the locked state; when the operation panel is in the unlocking state, the display module in the operation panel outputs display information representing the current image forming device state.
8. The control method according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized by further comprising: when the operation panel is in a locked state, if the unlocking operation received by the operation panel continuously fails for a plurality of times, the unlocking operation is not processed within a preset time, and the unlocking operation is executed after the preset time.
9. An image forming apparatus, comprising:
a control panel mounted on the frame of the image forming apparatus, the control panel being provided with a key for image forming processing;
an engine module provided in the image forming apparatus frame and an internal control system that controls the engine module;
the internal control system is configured to: when at least one condition is met in the conditions that overtime is not operated, identity authentication fails and the continuous unlocking times exceed a threshold value, an internal control system of the image forming device directly controls an operation panel to be in a locked state;
when a user can input a correct unlocking key on the operation panel within preset time and preset times, the internal control system of the image forming device directly controls the operation panel to be in an unlocking state;
when the operation panel is in an unlocked state and a key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming device can execute imaging processing or parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key;
when the operation panel is in a locked state and a key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus does not respond to the imaging process or the parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key.
10. The image forming apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the image forming apparatus includes a memory storing an operating system and a memory storing an application program corresponding to a control operation panel;
when the operation panel is in the locked state and the key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus does not respond to the imaging processing or parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key, and the method specifically includes: under the condition that an application program of an operation panel receives at least one condition of no operation in time-out, failure in identity authentication and the number of continuous unlocking times exceeding a threshold value and meets requirements, when a key of the operation panel is pressed, the application program of the operation panel judges whether the key corresponds to an unlocking key, if not, an operation instruction corresponding to the key cannot be transmitted to the operation system, and the next key input information is continuously waited;
when the operation panel is in the unlocked state and the key of the operation panel is pressed, the internal control system of the image forming apparatus can perform the imaging process or the parameter setting operation corresponding to the pressed key, which specifically includes: and the application program of the operation panel analyzes the operation instruction corresponding to the key and transmits the corresponding operation instruction to the operation system.
11. The image forming apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the timeout non-operation includes that the operation panel does not receive information that a key is operated within a first preset time period, and/or that the image forming apparatus does not receive a job within a second preset time period; the identity authentication failure comprises that a preset unlocking key on the control panel is not correctly pressed, and/or a user identity authentication module associated with the image forming device does not receive user identity information meeting a preset requirement; the unlocking key includes combining at least two predetermined keys in the control panel, and the internal control system of the image forming apparatus receives unlocking information when the at least two predetermined keys are pressed in a predetermined order.
