Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The embodiments described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all embodiments consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a control method of a network television box according to an exemplary embodiment; the method of the embodiment can be applied to a control device (such as a Micro Control Unit (MCU) and the like) of the network television box.
As shown in fig. 1, the method comprises the following steps S101-S103:
in step S101, it is determined whether the network television box is in a state of communication connection with the television apparatus.
In this embodiment, the control device of the network television box may determine whether the network television box is in a communication connection with the television apparatus in real time or based on a set period. The setting period may be set by a developer or a user based on actual service needs, which is not limited in this embodiment.
In an embodiment, the control device of the network television box may determine whether the television apparatus is powered off based on a setting detection method, so that it may be determined that the network television box is not in a state of being in communication connection with the television apparatus in a case where it is detected that the television apparatus is powered off.
It should be noted that, the above-mentioned setting detection method may be implemented by a developer to select a detection scheme in the related art, which is not limited in this embodiment.
In another embodiment, the above-mentioned manner of determining whether the network tv box is in the communication connection with the tv device may also refer to the embodiment shown in fig. 3 described below, and will not be described in detail herein.
In step S102, after determining that the network television box is in a communication connection state with the television apparatus, it is determined whether a current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box.
In this embodiment, when it is determined that the network television box is connected to the television apparatus, it may be determined that the television apparatus is currently in the on state, and it may be further determined whether the playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box.
In an embodiment, a currently playing image of the television device may be acquired, and then it is determined whether a playing resource of the television device is provided by the network television box based on the content of the image. For example, after the playing image of the current television device is obtained, the content of the playing image may be identified based on a set image identification manner, and if the image is identified as the default screen saver image of the television device, it may be determined that the playing resource of the television device is not provided by the network television box.
In another embodiment, the above-mentioned manner for determining whether the current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box may also be referred to the embodiment shown in fig. 4 or fig. 5, which will not be described in detail herein.
In step S103, if the current playing resource of the television device is not provided by the network television box, the network television box is controlled to execute a sleep operation.
In this embodiment, when it is determined that the playing resource of the television device is not provided by the network television box, the network television box may be controlled to execute the hibernation operation.
The above-mentioned controlling the network television box to execute the sleep operation includes performing a pause operation on the network television box, and a specific control manner may refer to explanation and description in related art, which is not limited in this embodiment.
It should be noted that the present embodiment example considers that even when the television apparatus is currently in the on state, the playing resources thereof may not be provided by the network television apparatus. For example, when the television device is in a state of displaying a screen saver interface, if the network television box continues to operate, it is meaningless, and the service life of hardware devices inside the box is also lost, which wastes power resources and the operation cost of the content delivery network CDN in the cloud. Therefore, in this embodiment, it may be further determined whether the playing resource of the television device is provided by the network television box when it is determined that the television device is currently in the on state, and further, when it is determined that the playing resource of the television device is not provided by the network television box, the network television box is controlled to execute the hibernation operation.
As can be seen from the above description, in this embodiment, by determining whether the network tv box is in a communication connection state with the television apparatus, and determining whether the current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network tv box after determining that the network tv box is in the communication connection state with the television apparatus, and further controlling the network tv box to perform a sleep operation when the current playing resource of the television apparatus is not provided by the network tv box, since it is determined whether the current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network tv box under the condition that it is determined that the network tv box is connected with the television apparatus, it can be determined whether the network tv box provides the playing resource for the television apparatus when the television apparatus is in a power-on state, and further under the condition that it is determined that the network tv box does not provide the playing resource for the television apparatus, the network television box is controlled to execute the dormancy operation, so that the service life of hardware equipment of the network television box can be prolonged, electric power resources are saved, the operation cost of a resource provider is reduced, and the purposes of energy conservation and environmental protection are achieved under the condition that the normal use of the network television box is not influenced.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart showing a control method of a network television box according to a second exemplary embodiment; the method of the embodiment can be applied to a control device (such as a Micro Control Unit (MCU) and the like) of the network television box.
As shown in fig. 2, the method comprises the following steps S201-S204:
in step S201, it is determined whether the network television box is in a state of communication connection with the television apparatus.
In step S202, after determining that the network television box is in a communication connection state with the television apparatus, it is determined whether a current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box.
In step S203, if the current playing resource of the television apparatus is not provided by the network television box, the network television box is controlled to execute a sleep operation.
For the explanation and explanation of the steps S201 to S203, reference may be made to the above embodiments, which are not described herein again.
In step S204, after determining that the network television box is not in a state of being in communication connection with the television device, controlling the network television box to execute a shutdown operation.
In this embodiment, when it is determined that the network television box is not connected to the television apparatus, it may be determined that the network television apparatus does not load the television apparatus, and further, it may be considered that the television apparatus is in the power-off state (if the television apparatus is in the power-on state, it is detected that the network television apparatus loads the television apparatus). When the television device is in a power-off state, if the network television box continues to operate, it is meaningless, and the service life of hardware devices inside the box is also lost, which wastes power resources and the operation cost of the content delivery network CDN at the cloud end.
Therefore, in this embodiment, the network television box can be controlled to execute the shutdown operation when it is determined that the television device is currently in the shutdown state, so that the purposes of prolonging the service life of hardware devices of the network television box, saving electric power resources, reducing the operation cost of a resource provider, and realizing energy conservation and environmental protection without affecting the normal use of the network television box can be achieved.
As can be seen from the above description, in this embodiment, the network television box is controlled to execute the shutdown operation when it is determined that the network television box is not connected to the television device, so that the network television box can be prevented from continuing to operate when the network television box is not connected to the television device, the service life of hardware devices of the network television box can be prolonged, the power resources can be saved, the operation cost of a resource provider can be reduced, and the purposes of energy saving and environmental protection can be achieved.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart showing a control method of a network television box according to a third exemplary embodiment; the method of the embodiment can be applied to a control device (such as a Micro Control Unit (MCU) and the like) of the network television box.
As shown in fig. 3, the method comprises the following steps S301-S303:
in step S301, it is determined whether the iptv box is in a state of being communicatively connected to the television apparatus based on the voltage of the clock pin on the HDMI and the voltage of the HPD.
In this embodiment, in order to accurately determine whether the network television box is in a communication connection state with the television device, the voltage of the clock pin on the HDMI and the voltage of the HPD may be obtained, and then, based on the voltage of the clock pin on the HDMI and the voltage of the HPD, it is determined whether the network television box is in a communication connection state with the television device.
For example, when the television device is in the power-on state and accesses the HDMI signal source, the network tv box may output a voltage (e.g., 5v voltage) with a set magnitude to the television device, and the HDMI of the television device returns a voltage (e.g., the voltage of the hot plug detection HPD) of 5v to the network tv box, so that whether the television device is in the power-on state may be determined to some extent by detecting the magnitude of the voltage of the HPD.
However, considering that some television devices can still return 5v of voltage to the network television box in the power-off state, the mode of determining whether the television device is in the power-on state based on the voltage of the hot plug detection HPD is not accurate enough, and a misjudgment situation may occur, so that the network television box considers that the television device is not powered off.
Therefore, in this embodiment, on the basis of considering the voltage of the hot plug detection HPD, the voltage on the clock pin (e.g., CLK + pin) on the HDMI may also be detected, so as to determine whether the television device is powered on, that is, whether the network television box is in a state of being in communication connection with the television device, based on the voltage of the clock pin and the voltage of the hot plug detection HPD.
In an embodiment, when the voltage value of the clock pin is lower than a first set threshold (e.g., 3V) and the voltage value of the hot plug detection HPD is lower than a second set threshold (e.g., 4.6V), it may be determined that the network television box and the television apparatus are in a communication connection state.
It should be noted that the above-mentioned manner of determining whether the iptv box is in the state of being communicatively connected to the television apparatus based on the voltage of the clock pin on the HDMI and the voltage of the hot plug detection HPD is merely used for exemplary illustration. In practical application, it may also be determined whether the network television box and the television apparatus are in a communication connection state based on a WI-FI connection or the like based on an actual requirement, for example, it may be determined whether the television box and the television apparatus access the same local area network or not, which is not limited in this embodiment. In step S302, after determining that the network television box is in a communication connection state with the television apparatus, it is determined whether a current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box.
In step S303, if the current playing resource of the television device is not provided by the network television box, the network television box is controlled to execute a sleep operation.
For the explanation and explanation of the steps S302 to S203, reference may be made to the above embodiments, which are not described herein again.
As can be seen from the above description, the present embodiment can improve the accuracy of determining whether the iptv box is connected to the television device by determining whether the iptv box is in a communication connection state with the television device based on the voltage of the clock pin on the HDMI and the voltage of the HPD detected by hot plug, and then, after determining that the network television box is in a communication connection state with the television device, determining whether the current playing resource of the television device is provided by the network television box, thereby controlling the network television box to execute the sleep operation under the condition that the network television box is determined not to provide the playing resources for the television equipment, the service life of hardware equipment of the network television box can be prolonged, electric power resources are saved, the operation cost of a resource provider is reduced, and the purposes of energy conservation and environmental protection are achieved under the condition that the normal use of the network television box is not influenced.
FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating how to determine whether the currently playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box according to an exemplary embodiment; the present embodiment is exemplified on the basis of the above embodiments by taking an example of how to determine whether the current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box. As shown in fig. 4, the determining whether the currently playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box in step S102 may include the following steps S401 to S404:
in step S401, the operating state of the HDCP module of the high-bandwidth digital content protection technology of the television apparatus is determined.
In this embodiment, after determining that the network television box is in a communication connection state with the television apparatus, the operating state of the HDCP module of the high-bandwidth digital content protection technology of the television apparatus may be determined.
It should be noted that, considering that the network tv box provides the playing resource to the tv device, that is, the network tv box is dependent on the HDCP module to perform information transmission, the present embodiment may determine whether the playing resource of the tv device is provided by the network tv box by determining the operating state of the HDCP module of the high-bandwidth digital content protection technology of the tv device.
In an embodiment, a setting detection method may be used to detect the operating state of the HDCP module of the television apparatus, where the setting detection method may be selected by a developer based on actual service needs, and this embodiment does not limit this.
In another embodiment, the determination of the operation status of the HDCP module may be performed by referring to the embodiment shown in fig. 5, which will not be described in detail herein.
In step S402, it is determined whether the operating state is a power-off state: if yes, go to step S403; if not, go to step S404;
in step S403, it is determined that the current playing resource of the television apparatus is not provided by the network television box.
In step S404, it is determined that the current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box.
In an embodiment, if the working state of the HDCP module is a power-off state, it may be determined that the current playing resource of the television apparatus is not provided by the network television box. On the contrary, if the working state of the HDCP module is the power-on state, it may be determined that the playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box.
As can be seen from the above description, in this embodiment, by determining the working state of the HDCP module of the television apparatus, and then determining whether the current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box based on the working state, it can be achieved that whether the playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box is accurately determined based on the working state of the HDCP module, and then it can be achieved that the network television box is controlled to execute the sleep operation in the subsequent case that it is determined that the network television box does not provide the playing resource to the television apparatus, so that the service life of the hardware apparatus of the network television box can be prolonged, the power resource can be saved, the operating cost of the resource provider can be reduced, and the purpose of energy saving and environmental protection can be achieved without affecting the normal use of the network television box.
FIG. 5 is a flowchart illustrating how to determine whether the currently playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box according to yet another exemplary embodiment; the present embodiment is exemplified on the basis of the above embodiments by taking an example of how to determine whether the current playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box. As shown in fig. 5, the determining whether the currently playing resource of the television apparatus is provided by the network television box in step S102 may include the following steps S501 to S504:
in step S501, the working state of the HDCP module of the high-bandwidth digital content protection technology of the television apparatus is determined through the display data channel DDC of the HDMI.
In this embodiment, when it is determined that the network television box is connected to the television apparatus, the operating state of the HDCP module of the high-bandwidth digital content protection technology of the television apparatus may be determined based on the DDC of the HDMI.
It should be noted that if the playback resources of the tv device are provided by the network tv box, the DDC can perform normal interaction, that is, can have a continuous data encryption process; on the contrary, if the playing resource of the television equipment is not provided by the network television box, then the HDCP interaction does not exist in the current network television box, and it can be determined that the HDCP module of the television equipment has stopped working, that is, is in a power-off state, so that it can be determined whether the current playing resource of the television equipment is provided by the network television box based on the working state of the HDCP module.
In step S502, it is determined whether the operating state is a power-off state: if yes, go to step S503; if not, executing step S504;
