Description

Wall-mounted mounting device for spray head lifting rod
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a wall-mounted mounting for a shower head lifting lever of a shower system according to the preamble of claim 1.
Background
Such shower head lifting rods are usually mounted on the mounting wall in the vertical direction on two wall-mounting brackets, to be precise at a horizontal distance from the mounting wall in the depth direction. For fastening to the respective support, the spray head lifting lever can have a bore or another connecting contour. By means of this connecting contour, the spray head lifting rod can be fixed in a predefined longitudinal position of the spray head lifting rod on the respective support.
A wall fastening bracket of this type can be constructed at least in two parts with a wall bracket that can be mounted on a mounting wall and a bracket base to which the spray head lifting lever can be connected.
The mounting wall can have wall protrusions, which occur, for example, during the transition from a tiled wall area to an unsliced wall area. For example, the lower wall mounting bracket may be mounted on a tiled wall section, while the upper wall mounting bracket is mounted on an unslotted wall area. Wall dislocations between tiled and non-tiled wall areas can be eliminated by special compensating shims. The compensation shim may be padded under a corresponding wall bracket of the wall mount bracket. Problems arise when multiple shim pads are used or stacked. In this case, the length of the mass-produced screws provided together for screwing on the mounting wall is no longer sufficient. The result is failure in a load situation. If the final customer finds an obstructive wall misalignment when trying to assemble, the final customer is forced to add compensation shims and eliminate this misalignment. This again increases the assembly complexity for the installer or the end customer.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a wall-mounted mounting device for a spray head lifting rod, wherein the spray head lifting rod is fixed on a mounting wall in a position correct manner in a simple structure and a manner of reducing structural space.
This object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Preferred developments of the invention are disclosed in the dependent claims.
The wall fastening bracket according to the characterizing feature of claim 1, having depth latching means by means of which the bracket base and the wall carrier can be adjusted telescopically in relation to one another in the depth direction. In this way, a suitable distance between the spray head lifting lever and the mounting wall can be adjusted and, if necessary, wall misalignments can be eliminated.
In one embodiment, the carrier base can be a hollow profile part, in particular rectangular in cross section. The hollow profile part forms a telescopic guide in which the wall bracket is preferably guided with a small movement play in the depth direction. The hollow profile part can be open on its end side facing the wall. Through the open end face, the wall bracket can be telescopically inserted into the assembly space defined by the hollow profile part. In terms of smooth guidance, the wall bracket can be in sliding contact with the inside of the hollow profile piece.
The wall bracket is usually screwed to the mounting wall by means of screws. In this case, the wall bracket can have a base part, preferably made of solid material, which can be clamped between the screw head of the fixing screw and the mounting wall. At least one guide bead, which may be a component of the telescopic guide described above, may protrude from the wall bracket base in the depth direction. The guide bead can be guided in a guide channel of the carrier base. The guide channel can in turn be formed in the assembly space of the carrier base body. In one embodiment, the guide channel is delimited in the installation space of the carrier base body in the shower head vertical direction by an upper narrow side wall and a material web.
In a particular embodiment variant, the wall fastening bracket can have a locking element which can be adjusted between an unlocked position and a locked position. In the unlocked position, the carrier base and the wall bracket are telescopically adjustable relative to each other. In contrast, in the locked position, the carrier base and the wall bracket are fixed in position relative to one another in the depth direction.
In a simple embodiment, the locking element can be a latching screw. The locking screw can be screwed into an internal thread formed on the base body of the holder. The latching screw can interact with a wall bracket mating contour formed on the guide bead.
In this context, the detent screw can be adjusted by a screwing process into a locking position in which it is tensioned with the wall bracket mating contour. Preferably, a recess is arranged in the wall bracket mating contour, into which recess the locking screw can project in a form-fitting manner in the locking position. In a particular embodiment, the wall bracket guide bead described above can be a toothed rack with profile teeth and tooth gaps arranged between the profile teeth, the tooth gaps forming the above-described recesses.
In the case of a sufficiently structurally stable support, it is preferred that the support base body, which is designed as a rectangular hollow profile, has an additional material web which connects two flat side walls opposite one another to one another. The material bridges may define guide channels with upper/lower narrow side walls of the stent base. In this case, the latching screw can be arranged in the narrow side wall, wherein in the latching position the wall bracket guide bead can be supported on the inner material web.
In order to further simplify assembly, it is preferred that the wall bracket has a total of two guide beads. In the assembled state, the first guide bead can project into the guide channel of the carrier base body, while the second guide bead does not functionally project into the interior assembly space of the carrier base body.
In this case, the wall bracket can be inserted into the carrier base body in an inverted, that is to say rotated by 180 °.
As an alternative to the above embodiment variants, the depth locking device can also have a self-locking adjusting screw instead of the locking screw. When the adjusting screw is screwed, the wall bracket and the support base body can be adjusted in the depth direction telescopically relative to each other. The adjusting screw can be arranged with its screw head in a positionally fixed manner in the depth direction in the assembly space of the carrier base body. Thereby, the adjustment screw is arranged in a manner to protect it from external mechanical influences and to protect it from being visible. The adjusting screw can be screwed with its screw shank into the internal thread of the wall bracket. In this way, when the adjusting screw is screwed, it is either screwed into the internal thread of the wall bracket or screwed out of it, specifically in the case of a stepless adjustment of the wall bracket, which is telescopic relative to the bracket base.
In terms of an unobstructed adjustment screw guidance, it is preferred that the adjustment screw is positioned with its screw head in the guide channel of the carrier base body. For the fixed-position adjustment screw support in the depth direction, it is preferred that a depth stop is arranged on each side of the screw head. Two depth stops prevent the screw head from moving in the depth direction. In order to simplify the assembly/disassembly of the wall fastening bracket, it is preferred that at least one of the depth stops is realized as a releasable stop screw. Preferably, the releasable retaining screw can be screwed into a narrow side wall of the base body of the holder.
As described above, the adjusting screw is screwed into or out of the internal thread of the wall bracket by means of a screw connection. In one embodiment variant, the screw connection of the adjusting screw can only be realized in a disassembly state, not shown, in which the wall bracket is completely removed from the carrier base body. In order to separate the wall bracket from the carrier base body in this way, the stop screw serving as a depth stop is loosened. Subsequently, the wall bracket and the carrier base body are separated from each other, so that the tool can freely access the hexagon socket contour of the adjusting screw.
Drawings
Two embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Wherein:
FIG. 1 shows a spray head lifting bar secured to a mounting wall in a side sectional view;
figures 2 and 3 show the wall fixing bracket in a sectional view and in a general perspective view, respectively;
figures 4 to 6 each show separately an assembly of wall-mount brackets;
FIG. 7 shows a wall fixing bracket according to a second embodiment in a view corresponding to FIG. 2; and
fig. 8 to 10 each show an assembly of the wall fixing bracket shown in fig. 7 separately.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a shower head lifting lever 3 of a shower system, not shown separately, which is fastened to a mounting wall 1. The spray head lifting bar 3 extends in the vertical direction z and is fixed to the mounting wall 1 by means of two wall fixing brackets 5. In the installation position according to fig. 1, the installation wall 1 has a lower wall region 1a and an upper wall region 1b, which merge into one another in a stepped manner and are offset from one another in the depth direction x by a wall offset w. The wall misalignment w can be eliminated by a depth compensation means 21 integrated in both wall fixing brackets 5.
In order to form the depth compensation device 21, each wall fastening bracket 5 is designed in two parts, specifically with a wall bracket 7 and a bracket base 9, which are mounted on the mounting wall 1. The wall bracket 7 is fixedly screwed into the hole of the mounting wall 1 by means of a fixing screw 13 with an expansion sleeve 15. The wall bracket 7 is inserted into the holder base 9 so as to be telescopically adjustable in the depth direction x. In fig. 1, the upper wall bracket 7 projects beyond the carrier base 9 by an overhang Δ x. The overhang Δ x is equal to the wall offset w, while the lower wall bracket 7 is pushed flush into the lower carrier base 9 and does not protrude in the depth direction x. Therefore, the excess portion Δ x of the upper wall fixing bracket 5 eliminates the wall misalignment w of the installation wall 1.
In the figures, the carrier base body 9 is configured as a hollow profile piece which is rectangular in cross section. The hollow profile forms a telescopic guide in which the wall carrier 7 is guided with a small movement play in a telescopically adjustable manner in the depth direction x. The carrier base 9, which is designed as a hollow profile part, has upper and lower narrow side walls 23, 25, which are connected to one another by flat side walls 27. The carrier base body 9 delimits an inner assembly space 28, in which the depth locking device 21 is arranged.
According to fig. 2 or 5, the wall bracket 7 has a base part 29 made substantially of solid material, through which the fixing screw 13 is guided. Two guide beads 31, which are realized as toothed racks in fig. 2 or 5, project from the base part 29 in the depth direction x. In fig. 2 or 5, the upper guide bead 31 of the base part 29 is adjustably guided in a guide channel 33 of the carrier base 9. The guide channel 33 is delimited in the vertical direction z above by the upper narrow side wall 23 and below by a material web 35 which extends between the two flat side walls 27 and reinforces the support base 9. In fig. 2, the support base 9, which is approximately box-shaped, is open on its end face near its wall. Through the open end side of the carrier base body 9, the wall bracket 7 projects into an interior fitting space 28 of the carrier base body 9.
According to fig. 2, a threaded bore is formed in the upper narrow side wall 23, into which a locking screw 37 is screwed. The latching screws 37 serve as locking elements which fix the position of the wall bracket 7 and the carrier base 9 in the depth direction x. In fig. 2, the locking screw 37 is shown in the screwed-in locking position V. In the locking position V, the locking screw 37 is positively connected with its screw tip to the toothed rack 31, wherein the toothed rack 31 is supported stably with its underside on the material web 35.
By unscrewing the screw, the locking screw 37 is brought into its unlocking position E, not shown, in which the wall bracket 7 is adjustable in the depth direction x relative to the carrier base 9.
As can also be gathered from fig. 2 or 4, the carrier base body 9 has a coupling contour 39 for connecting the spray head lifting rod 3 on its end side remote from the wall. In the coupling contour 39, a long hole 41 extending in the vertical direction z is formed. The elongated hole 41 is penetrated by a fixing screw 46, which in fig. 2 is releasably screwed to the spray head lifting lever 3, specifically in the intermediate position of the intermediate element 40 (fig. 6). In the assembled position (fig. 2), the intermediate element 40 covers the remaining open end side of the guide channel 33 remote from the wall.
In fig. 7, a second embodiment of the wall fixing bracket 5 is shown. The depth locking device 21 therefore does not have a locking screw 37, but rather a self-locking adjusting screw 43 oriented in the depth direction x. The adjusting screw 43 is positioned with its screw head 45 in the guide channel 33, to be precise in a positionally fixed manner in the depth direction x. For the fixed positioning, depth stops 47 and 49 are arranged on both sides of the screw head 45. In this case, the wall-facing depth stop 47 is screwed as a releasable locking screw into the lower narrow side wall 25 of the carrier base body 9, while the other depth stop 49 is integrally formed integrally and materially on the carrier base body 9. The screw head 45 of the adjustment screw 43 has an inner hexagonal profile.
In fig. 7, the adjustment screw 43 is threadedly engaged with the internal thread 51 of the wall bracket 7. By screwing the self-locking adjusting screw 43 into the internal thread 51 of the wall bracket 7 or out of it, the wall bracket 7 is adjusted in a stepless manner in relation to the support base 9.
Fig. 7 now shows that the adjusting screw 43 is screwed in a non-illustrated removal state, in which the wall bracket 7 is completely removed from the carrier base body 9. For this purpose, in fig. 7, the stop screw serving as the depth stop 47 is loosened. Subsequently, the wall bracket 7 and the support base 9 can be separated from each other, so that the inner hexagonal contour of the adjusting screw 43 is freely accessible to a tool.
