In view of the above objects, a first aspect of embodiments of the present invention proposes an embodiment of a method for data volume synchronization. Fig. 1 shows a schematic flow diagram of the method.
As shown in fig. 1, the method may comprise the steps of:
s1, sending a data volume query request to a storage system and a cloud platform every threshold time, or sending the data volume query request when synchronization is needed without setting the threshold time, wherein the request comprises an access address, an access user name and an access password of a data volume to be queried, and the storage system and the cloud platform need to store and summarize the access address and the data volume name of the data volume when a new data volume is generated;
s2, responding to a received data volume query request, respectively querying data volume information by the storage system and the cloud platform, respectively sending the queried data volume information to the client, respectively querying the data volumes stored by the storage system and the cloud platform based on the information contained in the query request after receiving the query request, and feeding back the queried data volume information, which can be fed back to the client or a unit sent by the query request;
s3, comparing the data volume information sent by the storage system with the data volume information sent by the cloud platform, and checking whether the data volume information displayed by the cloud platform and the data volume stored by the storage platform are synchronous or not according to the comparison of the data volume information;
and S4, responding to the inconsistency between the data volume information sent by the storage system and the data volume information sent by the cloud platform, acquiring and synchronizing the data volume based on a synchronization strategy set by the client, wherein the information generally comprises two aspects, on one hand, the inquired data volumes exist in the storage system and the cloud platform, but part of data is asynchronous, on the other hand, the inquired data volumes are not in the storage system or the cloud platform, the synchronization strategy is set in the client in advance, and the corresponding data volumes in the storage system and the cloud platform are synchronized according to different synchronization strategies.

In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, further comprising:
and responding to the completion of the synchronization of the data volumes, and modifying the mapping relation of the data volumes in the cloud platform into corresponding data volumes in the storage system synchronized with the cloud platform. After the data volumes are synchronized, the mapping relationship between the data volumes may change, and in order to prevent the problem that the data volumes cannot be accessed after being synchronized, the mapping relationship between two identical data volumes after being synchronized needs to be reestablished.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cloud platform comprises an openstack platform.
By the technical scheme, the data volume information between the storage system and the cloud platform can be synchronized, the resource utilization rate of the storage system is improved, the occupation of a zombie data volume in the cloud platform on a data quota is reduced, the performance of the storage system and the cloud platform is improved, and the synchronization requirements of various data volumes of a user can be met.
