(constitution example of television device)
Next, a configuration example of the television device 200 according to embodiment 1 will be described with reference to fig. 3. Fig. 3 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of the television apparatus 200 according to embodiment 1.
As shown in fig. 3, the television apparatus 200 includes an input terminal 202, tuners 203a to 203g, a signal processing unit 207, a graphics processing unit 208, a voice processing unit 209, an OSD (On Screen Display) signal generating unit 210, and an image processing unit 211.
A terrestrial digital broadcast signal received through the terrestrial broadcast receiving antenna 213 is input to the input terminal 202. The terrestrial digital broadcast signal is supplied to the tuners 203a to 203g via the input terminal 202.
The tuners 203a to 203g are tuners for terrestrial digital broadcasting, and select a broadcast signal of a channel instructed by a control unit 216 described later from among terrestrial digital broadcast signals supplied from the input terminal 202.
However, the television apparatus 200 may have an input terminal to which a satellite digital broadcast signal received by the BS/CS digital broadcast receiving antenna is input. The satellite digital broadcast signal is supplied to a tuner for satellite digital broadcasting via the input terminal.
The signal processing unit 207 demodulates a broadcast signal including a digital image signal and a voice signal from the broadcast signal supplied from the tuners 203a to 203 g. The signal processing unit 207 selectively performs predetermined digital signal processing on the video signal included in the digital broadcast signal, and outputs the video signal to the graphics processing unit 208. The signal processing unit 207 selectively performs desired digital signal processing on the audio signal included in the digital broadcast signal, and outputs the processed audio signal to the audio processing unit 209.
The signal processing unit 207 is connected to a plurality of external input terminals 214a to 214 d. These external input terminals 214a to 214d can input analog video signals and audio signals from a DVD (Digital Versatile Disk) recorder or the like as an example of an external device. The signal processing unit 207 digitizes the analog image signal and the audio signal input from the external input terminals 214a to 214 d. The signal processing unit 207 performs predetermined digital signal processing on the digitized image signal and outputs the processed image signal to the graphics processing unit 208. The signal processing unit 207 performs predetermined digital signal processing on the digitized voice signal and outputs the processed signal to the voice processing unit 209.
The graphic processing unit 208 superimposes the OSD signal generated by the OSD signal generating unit 210 on the digital image signal supplied from the signal processing unit 207 and outputs the superimposed signal to the image processing unit 211. The graphic processing unit 208 can also output either one of the digital image signal supplied from the signal processing unit 207 and the OSD signal generated by the OSD signal generating unit 210 to the image processing unit 211.
The image processing unit 211 converts the digital image signal or the OSD signal input from the graphic processing unit 208 into an analog image signal or an OSD signal in a format that can be displayed on the display screen of the image display unit 233, and outputs the converted signal to the image display unit 233. The image display unit 233 is, for example, an LCD or an OLED.
The voice processing unit 209 converts the digital voice signal input from the signal processing unit 207 into an analog voice signal in a format that can be played by the speaker 215, and outputs the converted signal to the speaker 215.
The television apparatus 200 further includes a control unit 216, a card holder 217, various interfaces 218 to 221, and a brightness sensor 230. The control unit 216 includes a CPU216a, a ROM216b, a RAM216c, and a nonvolatile memory 216 d.
The control unit 216 centrally controls various operations of the television apparatus 200 such as a reception operation of a broadcast signal such as a terrestrial digital broadcast signal or a satellite digital broadcast signal. Further, the control unit 216 controls each unit of the television apparatus 200 in accordance with operation information from the operation unit 222 or operation information input from the remote controller 224 via the light receiving unit 223.
The CPU216a executes the program stored in the ROM216b, thereby controlling the overall operation of the television apparatus 200. The ROM216b mainly stores programs executed by the CPU216 a. The RAM216c provides a work area when the CPU216a executes programs. The nonvolatile memory 216d stores various setting information, control information, and the like of the television apparatus 200.
The control unit 216 is connected to a card socket 217 of the removable memory card 234 via a card I/F225. Thus, the control unit 216 can exchange various information with the memory card 234 attached to the card socket 217 via the card I/F225.
The control unit 216 is connected to the LAN terminal 226 via the communication I/F218. Accordingly, the control unit 216 can exchange various information with the external device such as the above-described relay device 400 or LAN-compatible HDD (Hard Disk Drive) connected to the LAN terminal 226 via the communication I/F218. However, the communication I/F218 may be configured to be wirelessly connectable to an external device such as the relay device 400.
The control unit 216 is connected to an HDMI terminal 227 via an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) I/F221. Thus, the control unit 216 can exchange various information with the external device connected to the HDMI terminal 227 via the HDMII/F221.
The control unit 216 is connected to a USB terminal 228 via a USB (Universal Serial Bus) I/F219. Thus, the control unit 216 can exchange various information with the storage device 200a including the USB vdd or the like connected to the USB terminal 228 via the USBI/F219.
The storage device 200a includes, for example, an HDD (hard disk Drive), an SSD (Solid State Drive), or the like, and is configured to record the digital signal received by the television device 200 as video data. However, the storage device 200a may be built in the television device 200.
In this way, the television apparatus 200 including the storage apparatus 200a is configured as a recording apparatus. However, the recording apparatus is not limited to the television apparatus 200, and may be another recording apparatus if it has a broadcast signal receiving function and a program recording function.
Here, the television apparatus 200 can record a program as at least one of the pickup content and the distribution content by adjusting the bit rate in the recording data.
The content for pickup is a content with a relatively small capacity that is recorded at a low bit rate. The content for taking out can be stored in an external device such as the information terminal 100 and taken out of the television apparatus 200. The content for pickup is preferably picked up from the information terminal 100 or the like via a home network. The content for taking out is preferably reduced in size (down sizing) to such an extent that the user does not feel the deterioration of image quality and sound quality when viewing the content in the information terminal 100 or the like.
The distribution content is a content recorded at a high bit rate and has a larger capacity than the pickup content. The distribution content is not directed to the information terminal 100 or the like, but can be viewed by a streaming distribution or the like in the information terminal 100 connected to a network, for example. The television apparatus 200 can also generate a content for pickup by reducing the size of the content for distribution. Thus, in the storage device 200a, 2 pieces of recorded data of the distribution content and the pickup content are recorded for 1 program.
The content for pickup and the content for distribution recorded in the storage device 200a are listed as a program list by the control unit 216 of the television apparatus 200, and are stored in the storage device 200a, for example.
The user can specify, for example, via the operation unit 222 and the remote controller 224, which of the pickup content and the distribution content the predetermined program is to be recorded, and can also instruct to generate the pickup content from the distribution content.
In addition, there are, for example, the following 3 methods for viewing a program recorded by the television apparatus 200 through the information terminal 100. First, a method of storing a program recorded or generated as a content for taking out in the information terminal 100 in advance is described. The user can view the content taken out through the information terminal 100 without being affected by the connection status of the network. Second, a method of distributing and viewing a program recorded or generated as a content for pickup to the information terminal 100 connected to the network without taking out the program. And 3 rd, a method of distributing and viewing a program recorded as a distribution content to the information terminal 100 connected to the network.
Hereinafter, the content stored and taken out by the information terminal 100 is referred to as the taken-out content, and the content with a small capacity recorded in the storage device 200a of the television apparatus 200 is referred to as the taking-out content, and the two contents can be distinguished from each other.
For example, the CPU107 of the information terminal 100 executes a program for viewing a recorded program, thereby realizing the viewing of the recorded program as described above in the information terminal 100 and the like.
(example of function configuration of program)
Next, an example of a functional configuration of program 500 executed by information terminal 100 will be described with reference to fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a block diagram showing an example of a functional configuration of program 500 according to embodiment 1.
As shown in fig. 4, the program 500 includes an input control unit 501, a communication control unit 502, an address acquisition unit 503, a determination unit 504, a list management unit 505, a display control unit 506, and a storage unit 507. These modules are generated as a result of execution of the program 500 by the information terminal 100, for example.
The input control unit 501 receives an input operation by a user via the voice input unit 102 and the touch panel 104b of the information terminal 100. As the input operation by the user, for example, there is an operation of displaying a program list in order to view a recorded program.
The communication control unit 502 controls network communication performed via the communication I/F101 of the information terminal 100. As described above, in network communication, there are: wired or wireless communication with the television apparatus 200 indoors via the relay apparatus 400; and outdoor communications over public wireless LAN302a or a carrier to provide wireless LAN302b and the like.
Here, the indoor space mainly refers to a place where the television apparatus 200 is installed as described above, and means an environment where a good connection state can be mainly obtained, such as a home network or a home LAN. Therefore, the indoor space is not limited to the home of the user of the television apparatus 200, and includes, for example, an enterprise, an office, a research facility, another facility, a private room other than the home, and the like. The term outdoor means, for example, a place other than the above-mentioned places, and the communication means is mainly based on wireless or the like, and therefore means an environment in which it is difficult to obtain a good connection condition such as indoor.
The address acquisition unit 503 acquires an IP address when the information terminal 100 is connected to the network from the communication control unit 502. Among the IP addresses are a private IP address starting from any one of "10.0." "172.16." "192.168.", and a global IP address in addition thereto.
The determination section 504 determines whether the IP address is a private IP address or a global IP address based on the acquisition result of the address acquisition section 503. When the IP address is a private IP address, determination unit 504 determines that the connection status of the network is from indoors. When the IP address is a global IP address, determination unit 504 determines that the connection status of the network is from outside.
The list management unit 505 manages a program list related to the extracted content extracted by the information terminal 100. When a new program is taken out to the information terminal 100, the list management unit 505 adds information about the newly taken out program to the program list. When there is an instruction from the user to display a program list at the time of network connection, the list management unit 505 acquires a program list of the television apparatus 200, and generates the latest program list by integrating the acquired program list with the program list of the extracted content managed by itself. As described above, the program list included in the television apparatus 200 is a list of information on programs recorded in the storage apparatus 200 a.
The display control unit 506 controls image output to the display unit 104 of the information terminal 100. For example, when there is an instruction from the user to display a program list, the display control unit 506 causes the display unit 104 to display a program list of the extracted content managed by the list management unit 505, a latest program list integrated with the program list of the television apparatus 200, and the like.
The storage unit 507 stores the extracted content extracted to the information terminal 100 together with the program list of the extracted content.
Further, the program 500 is provided as a computer program product in an installable form or in an executable form. That is, the program 500 is provided in a state of being included in a non-transitory computer program product having a computer-readable nonvolatile storage medium, such as a CD-ROM, a Floppy Disk (FD), or a CD-R, DVD.
The program 500 may be provided or distributed via a network while being stored in a network computer connected to the internet or the like. The program 500 may be provided in a state of being previously loaded in a ROM or the like.
By installing such a program 500 in the information terminal 100, the CPU107 of the information terminal 100 reads the program 500 from the ROM of the memory 108 and develops the above-described respective modules on the RAM of the memory 108.
However, the program 500 may be provided as a network application stored in a cloud server or the like, and in this case, the program 500 is executed without being installed in the information terminal 100. Alternatively, the program 500 may be installed in the television apparatus 200, and the television apparatus 200 may execute the program 500. The information terminal 100 receives the processing result of the program 500 in the television apparatus 200 via the network.
(display example of program List)
As described above, for example, when an instruction to display a program list is received from the user, the display control unit 506 causes the display unit 104 to display the program list acquired from the list management unit 505.
Fig. 5 is a diagram showing an example of display of a program list in the information terminal 100 of embodiment 1. However, fig. 5 is only an example, and the display example of the program list is not limited to the example of fig. 5.
As shown in fig. 5, the program list is displayed at a position where it is easy to view, such as the center of the display unit 104. The program list includes information related to each program, such as a title, a television station (channel), a broadcast date and time, and a broadcast time of each program, and each program is displayed in order of date, for example. Thumbnails representing the program content may also be displayed within the program listing.
The program list is displayed so that it can be distinguished whether each program is a content for pickup or a content for distribution. In the example of fig. 5, for example, "take out" character information is given to the content for take out. The content to which the character information "out" is given may include the already-out content. However, the display may be performed so as to further distinguish the content for pickup from the content already picked up. In addition, text information such as "distribution" may be given to the content for distribution, instead of the content for pickup. In addition, the text information of "take out" may be given to the content for take out, and the text information of "delivery" may be given to the content for delivery.
The display that can distinguish between the contents for pickup and the contents for distribution is not limited to the character information, and at least one of the contents may be provided with some symbol or pattern. The program information of each content may be displayed in a different color, or the background of the program information may be displayed in a different color. Further, the display frame of either content may be enlarged, or the program information may be highlighted in bold characters, italics, or the like, so that both can be displayed in a distinguishable manner. The user may be configured to be able to select the one or more display modes.
When the program list is displayed, other information such as the connection status of the network may be displayed in addition to the program list. In the example of fig. 5, text information of "indoor" or "outdoor" is displayed above the program list. However, the display position of the connection status of the network is not limited thereto. The display indicating the connection status is not limited to the character information, and may be some symbol or pattern indicating "indoor" or "outdoor".
In addition, in addition to displaying "indoor" or "outdoor", a more detailed network connection status may also be displayed. In the example of fig. 5, detailed information of the connection status is displayed on the upper left of the display unit 104. However, the display position of the detailed information of the connection status is not limited to this. The detailed information of the network connection status may include, for example, the type of line, the IP address, and the communication speed.
Further, information attached to the program list such as a display for distinguishing each content, a display for "indoor" or "outdoor", and details of a network connection state may be displayed all the time, or may be displayed at a predetermined timing such as when there is an instruction from the user.
In addition, in the information terminal 100, the display content changes depending on the connection status of the network based on the function of the program 500.
Fig. 5 (a) is an example of displaying a program list when it is determined that the connection state of the information terminal 100 to the network is indoors. As shown in fig. 5 (a), the program list includes both the pull-out content and the distribution content to which the "pull-out" display is given. In this way, when the network connection status is indoor, the program 500 acquires information of both the content for pickup and the content for distribution from the program list of the television apparatus 200, and displays both contents mixed in the information terminal 100, for example, in order of date.
Fig. 5 (b) shows an example of the display of the program list when it is determined that the connection state of the information terminal 100 to the network is outdoors. As shown in fig. 5 (b), only the content for pull-out given the "pull-out" display is included in the program list. Here, the content that has been taken out may be included. In this way, when the connection status of the network is outdoor, the program 500 acquires only the information of the content for pickup from the program list of the television apparatus 200, and displays the information mixed with the content for pickup on the information terminal 100, for example, in the order of date.
(example of display processing in information terminal)
Next, an example of display processing in the information terminal 100 according to embodiment 1 will be described with reference to fig. 6. Fig. 6 is a flowchart showing an example of the procedure of the display processing of the program list in the information terminal 100 according to embodiment 1.
As shown in fig. 6, when the user operates the information terminal 100 to instruct the display of the program list in a state where the program 500 is started, the input control unit 501 receives an instruction of the display of the program list by the user (step S101).
The list management unit 505 reads the program list related to the content that has been taken out from the storage unit 507, for example (step S102).
Here, it is determined whether or not the information terminal 100 is connected to the network (step S103). The determination may be performed by, for example, the determination unit 504, with reference to the communication control unit 502 and the like. If the information terminal 100 is not connected to the network (step S103: NO), the process proceeds to step 110. The state in which the information terminal 100 is not connected to the network includes, for example, a case where a smartphone or the like as the information terminal 100 is in an area where radio waves do not reach, a case where an incoming call mode of the smartphone or the like is turned off, and a case where a wired line is not connected to a notebook PC connected to the network by a wired method.
If the information terminal 100 is connected to the network (step S103: YES), the address acquisition section 503 acquires an IP address from the communication control section 502 (step S104). The determination unit 504 determines whether or not the IP address acquired by the address acquisition unit 503 is a private IP address starting from any of "10.0." "172.16." "192.168." (step S105).
When the IP address is a private IP address (yes in step S105), determination unit 504 determines that the network connection status is performed from indoors (step S106). The list management unit 505 acquires information of all contents of the pickup content and the distribution content from the program list of the television apparatus 200, and integrates the information with its own program list related to the already-picked-up contents (step S107).
When the IP address is not a private IP address (no in step S105), determination unit 504 determines that the network connection status is performed from outdoors (step S108). The list management unit 505 acquires only the information of the content for pickup from the program list of the television apparatus 200, and integrates the information with its own program list related to the content already picked up (step S109).
The display control unit 506 acquires a program list according to the connection status of the network from the list management unit 505, and displays the program list on the display unit 104 of the information terminal 100 (step S110). That is, when the information terminal 100 is not connected to the network, the display control unit 506 displays a program list including only the extracted content. When it is determined that the information terminal 100 is connected from outdoors, the display control unit 506 displays a program list including the extracted content and the extraction content. When it is determined that the information terminal 100 is connected from indoors, the display control unit 506 displays a program list including all the contents.
As described above, the display processing in the information terminal 100 according to embodiment 1 is ended.
A technique is known in which a program recorded by a recording device such as a television device is viewed through an information terminal such as a smartphone. However, for example, when a large amount of content such as distribution content is included in a recorded program, even if a user wants to obtain latest information of the recorded program, it may take time to acquire a program list. When the content for distribution is selected from the acquired program list and viewed, the playback process may take a longer time in some cases.
According to information terminal 100 of embodiment 1, display control unit 506 changes the display content of the program list according to the connection status of the network. That is, if the communication speed is slow, the display control unit 506 causes the display unit 104 to display a program list not including the content for distribution having a large capacity. Thus, even when the network connection status is poor and the communication speed is slow, the time required for acquiring the program list can be shortened. In addition, even when the communication speed is low, it is possible to preferentially display a program list of contents that can be viewed without requiring a long time for the playback processing. The user can simply watch a predetermined program more quickly after starting the program 500, for example.
According to information terminal 100 of embodiment 1, display control unit 506 displays the pull-out content and the distribution content in the program list on display unit 104 so as to be distinguishable from each other. This makes it possible for the user to easily know whether the program displayed in the program list is the content for pickup or the content for distribution.
(modification 1)
Next, an information terminal and a program executed by the information terminal according to modification 1 of embodiment 1 will be described with reference to fig. 7 and 8. The configuration of modification 1 of embodiment 1 is different from that of embodiment 1 described above in that the viewing mode can be set.
In the information terminal according to modification 1, the input control unit is configured to be able to receive a setting of a viewing mode from a user. That is, the input control unit of modification 1 functions as a viewing mode setting unit.
The user can select and set any one of the plurality of viewing modes via the input control unit. An example of this is shown in fig. 7.
Fig. 7 is a diagram showing an example of display of a program list in the information terminal according to modification 1 of embodiment 1. In the example of fig. 7, the 2 viewing modes can be set to on/off.
As shown in fig. 7 (a), when the viewing mode is set to on, a program list including only the contents for pickup and the contents already picked up is displayed in order of date when the network is connected from outdoors. When the viewing mode is set to on and the network is connected indoors, a program list including all the contents is displayed in order of date.
As shown in fig. 7 (b), when the viewing mode is set to off, even when the network is connected from outdoors, a program list including all the contents is displayed in order of date. That is, when the viewing mode is set to off, information of all contents is acquired and displayed regardless of the connection state of the network.
However, the setting of the on/off viewing mode in fig. 7 is an example, and at least 2 viewing modes may be set. That is, the following settings are possible: in one viewing mode, the display contents of the program list are changed based on the connection status of the network, and in the other viewing mode, the program list of all the contents is displayed regardless of the connection status of the network.
Fig. 8 is a flowchart showing an example of the procedure of the display processing of the program list in the information terminal according to modification 1 of embodiment 1. However, the processing in steps S101 to S108 in fig. 8 is similar to the processing in fig. 6 in embodiment 1 described above.
As shown in fig. 8, when it is determined that the connection is from the outside (step S108), the determination unit further determines whether or not the viewing mode is on (step S118).
When the viewing mode is on (step S118: YES), the list management unit acquires only information of the content for pull-out from the program list of the television apparatus (step S119). When the viewing mode is off (no in step S118), the list management unit acquires information on all the contents from the program list of the television apparatus, as in the case where it is determined that the connection is from indoors (step S107).
The display control unit causes the display unit to display the program list from the list management unit (step S120). That is, the display control unit displays the program list including all the contents when it is determined that the connection is from indoors or when the connection is from outdoors and the viewing mode is off. When the connection from the outside is made and the viewing mode is on, the display control unit displays a program list including the content for pickup and the content already picked up.
According to the information terminal of modification 1, the setting of the viewing mode from the user is received. When the viewing mode is off, the display control unit displays a program list including all the contents regardless of the connection state of the network. This makes it possible to acquire a program list of all contents when the user does not want to restrict the display contents of the program list, when a line having a sufficiently high communication speed is used even outdoors, or the like.
(modification 2)
Next, an information terminal and a program executed by the information terminal according to modification 2 of embodiment 1 will be described with reference to fig. 9. The configuration of modification 2 of embodiment 1 is different from that of embodiment 1 described above in that it is possible to set a content for generating and taking out a content for distribution during viewing.
Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram showing an example of display at the time of program playback in the information terminal according to variation 2 of embodiment 1. However, fig. 9 is an example, and the display example during the program playback is not limited to the example of fig. 9.
As shown in fig. 9, when a predetermined program is being played, for example, a program title is displayed above the display unit. Below the program title, for example, a progress bar or the like indicating the progress of the streaming distribution is displayed. For example, a screen of a program being played back is displayed at a position where viewing is easy, such as the center of the display unit. Below the playback screen, for example, operation icons and the like are displayed that enable various operations performed by the user, such as playback, pause, and rewind. For example, a progress bar indicating the progress of the program broadcast is displayed below the display unit.
In the information terminal according to modification 2, when the program being played is a distribution content, an operation icon with character information such as "create and remove" is displayed, for example, on the lower right of the display unit. When the operation icon is pressed, the user can reserve a process of generating a content for pickup from a content for distribution during playback.
More specifically, upon receiving the pressing of the operation icon, the input control unit notifies the television apparatus via the communication control unit of the information terminal that an instruction for creating a pickup content by the user is made for the distribution content being played back. That is, in modification 2, the input control unit functions as a reservation receiving unit for creating the contents for pickup.
The television apparatus receiving the notification from the information terminal reserves a process of generating a content for pickup with respect to a content for distribution to be a target. The processing performed according to the reservation, that is, the generation processing of the content for pickup from the content for distribution is performed when the storage device or the like of the television apparatus is not in a use state or the like.
According to the information terminal of modification 2, for example, even from a place separated from the television apparatus such as outdoors, it is possible to make a generation reservation of a content for pickup from a content for distribution.
(modification 3)
Next, an information terminal and a program executed by the information terminal according to modification 3 of embodiment 1 will be described. The configuration of modification 3 of embodiment 1 is different from embodiment 1 described above in that the display of each content is prioritized.
As described above, there are, for example, pull-out contents and distribution contents in recorded programs, and there may be a case where both pull-out contents and distribution contents exist for the same program.
In the information terminal according to modification 3, for example, when all the contents are displayed at the time of network connection from indoors, when two contents exist for the same program, the pickup content is displayed in priority to the delivery content. In order to display the pickup content preferentially, there is a method of arranging the pickup content at a higher level in the program list and displaying the distribution content at a lower level, for example. It is also possible to cause the taken-out content to be displayed with priority over the taken-out content.
According to the information terminal of modification 3, the user can more quickly and easily view a predetermined program after the start of the program, for example.
[ embodiment 2]
Hereinafter, embodiment 2 will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The configuration of embodiment 2 is different from embodiment 1 described above in that the same operation as that in the indoor environment can be performed for network connection using a predetermined public wireless LAN.
(example of function configuration of program)
Fig. 10 is a block diagram showing an example of a functional configuration of program 510 according to embodiment 2. As shown in fig. 10, the program 510 includes an input control unit 511, a communication control unit 512, an address acquisition unit 513, a determination unit 514, a list management unit 515, a display control unit 516, a storage unit 517, a registration unit 518, and a connection destination network acquisition unit 519.
The input control unit 511 receives an input operation of the information terminal by a user. As described later, the input control unit 511 functions as a public line mode setting unit. The input control unit 511 receives a registration of a predetermined public wireless LAN from the user.
The communication control unit 512 controls network communication of the information terminal.
The address acquisition unit 513 acquires an IP address when the information terminal is connected to the network from the communication control unit 512.
The login section 518 manages a public line table about the public wireless LAN logged in by the user. When the input control unit 511 receives a registration instruction of the public wireless LAN by the user, the registration unit 518 adds information on the public wireless LAN having the registration instruction from the user to the public line table. In the information on the public wireless LAN, for example, there are a Service Set Identifier (SSID), security information, and a record (Memo) made by the user.
When the information terminal is connected to the network, the connection destination network acquisition unit 519 acquires the SSID of the connection destination network from the communication control unit 512.
The determination unit 514 determines based on the acquisition result of the address acquisition unit 513 that the connection is from indoors if the IP address is a private IP address. When the IP address is the global IP address, the determination unit 514 further refers to the acquisition result of the connection destination network acquisition unit 519, for example. The determination unit 514 determines from the acquisition result of the connection destination network acquisition unit 519, and determines that the connection is from indoors if the SSID is the SSID of the public wireless LAN registered by the user. If the SSID is not the SSID of the registered public wireless LAN, the determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from the outside.
The list management section 515 manages various program lists.
The display control unit 516 causes the display unit of the information terminal to display the program list from the list management unit 515, for example.
The storage unit 517 stores the extracted content and the program list of the extracted content. Further, the storage unit 517 stores a public line table.
The program 510 of embodiment 2 is also provided as a computer program product in an installable form or an executable form. Program 510 may also be provided or distributed via a network. The program 510 may be provided in a state of being loaded in advance in a ROM or the like. Program 510 may also be provided as a web application. The program 510 may also be executed by an information terminal or a television device.
(example of public line Table)
Next, an example of a public line table included in an information terminal according to embodiment 2 will be described with reference to fig. 11. Fig. 11 is a diagram showing an example of display of a public line table in an information terminal of embodiment 2. However, fig. 11 is an example, and the contents and display example of the public line table are not limited to the example of fig. 11.
As shown in fig. 11, the user can display the public line table on the display unit of the information terminal via the input control unit 511. The public line table includes information related to a registered public wireless LAN, such as an SSID of the public wireless LAN, security information indicating whether the public wireless LAN is protected, and a record made by a user.
The user can input SSID, security information, record information, and the like from a display screen or a login screen of the public line table to a desired public wireless LAN to log in. In the recording, the user can arbitrarily input information of the providing source of the public wireless LAN, the access point, and the like, for example. The user can change or delete the registered information from, for example, a display screen of the public line form.
The login unit 518 adds various information about the public wireless LAN input by the user to the public line table. The registration unit 518 updates the public line table in accordance with an instruction from the user to change or delete information.
(display example of program List)
Fig. 12 is a diagram showing an example of display of a program list in an information terminal of embodiment 2. However, fig. 12 is an example, and the display example of the program list is not limited to the example of fig. 12.
As shown in fig. 12, the information terminal according to embodiment 2 is configured to enable a user to set a public line mode. The user can select and set any one of the plurality of public line modes via the input control unit 511. That is, the input controller 511 functions as a public line mode setting unit. In the example of fig. 12, on/off 3 public line modes can be set.
When the public line mode is on in the case of a network connection using a global IP address, the determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from indoors. In this case, the list management unit 515 generates a program list including all the contents, and the display control unit 516 displays the program list.
When the public line mode is off during network connection using the global IP address, the determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from the outside. In this case, the list management unit 515 generates a program list not including the distribution content, and the display control unit 516 displays the program list.
When the public line mode is on (registered) in the case of network connection using the global IP address, the determination unit 514 determines whether the connection is from the inside or from the outside based on the SSID acquired by the connection destination network acquisition unit 519.
As shown in fig. 12 (a), the determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from indoors when the registered public wireless LAN is the connection destination based on the SSID acquired by the connection destination network acquisition unit 519. Then, the list management unit 515 generates a program list including all the contents, and the display control unit 516 displays the program list.
As shown in fig. 12 (b), the determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from outdoors when the unregistered public wireless LAN is the connection destination based on the SSID acquired by the connection destination network acquisition unit 519. Then, the list management unit 515 generates a program list not including the distribution content, and the display control unit 516 displays the program list.
However, the setting of the on/off of the public line mode in fig. 12 is an example, and at least 3 public line modes may be set. That is, in the network connection using the global IP address, in a certain public line mode, a program list of all contents is displayed regardless of the type of the connection destination network, in another public line mode, a program list other than the distribution contents is displayed regardless of the type of the connection destination network, and in yet another public line mode, the display contents of the program list may be changed based on the type of the connection destination network.
(example of display processing in information terminal)
Next, an example of display processing in the information terminal according to embodiment 2 will be described with reference to fig. 13. Fig. 13 is a flowchart showing an example of the procedure of the display processing of the program list in the information terminal according to embodiment 2.
As shown in fig. 13, the input control section 511 receives an instruction of display of a program list made by the user (step S201). The list management unit 515 reads the program list related to the content that has been taken out (step S202). If the information terminal is not connected to the network (step S203: NO), the flow proceeds to the process of step 213. If the information terminal is connected to the network (step S203: YES), the address acquisition section 513 acquires an IP address (step S204). When the IP address is a private IP address (yes in step S205), the determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from indoors (step S206). The list management unit 515 acquires information on all contents from the program list of the television apparatus, and integrates the information with the program list of the television apparatus (step S207).
As described above, the processing of steps S201 to S207 in fig. 13 is the same as the processing of steps S101 to S107 in fig. 6 in embodiment 1 described above.
When the IP address is not a private IP address (no in step S205), the determination unit 514 determines which one of on/off (login) and on/off the public line mode is set (step S208). When the public line mode is set to on (on in step S208), determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from indoors (step S206). When the public line mode is set to off (step S208: off), the determination unit determines that the connection is from outdoors (step S211).
When the public line mode is set to on (login) (step S208: on (login)), the connection destination network acquisition section 519 acquires the SSID of the connection destination network from the communication control section 512 (step S209).
The determination unit 514 determines whether or not the connection destination network is a registered public wireless LAN based on the SSID acquired by the connection destination network acquisition unit 519 (step S210). When the network to which the connection is made is a registered public wireless LAN (yes in step S210), the determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from indoors (step S206). When the connection destination network is not the registered public wireless LAN (no in step S210), determination unit 514 determines that the connection is from outdoors (step S211).
When it is determined that the connection status of the network is from indoor (step S206), the list management unit 515 acquires information on all the contents from the program list of the television apparatus and integrates the information with the program list of the extracted contents of the television apparatus (step S207).
When it is determined that the connection status of the network is from outside (step S211), the list management unit 515 acquires only the information on the content for pull-out from the program list of the television apparatus and integrates the information with the program list of the content having been pulled out (step S212).
The display control unit 516 causes the display unit of the information terminal to display the program list from the list management unit 515 (step S213). That is, when the information terminal is not connected to the network, the display control unit 516 causes the display of the program list including only the extracted content. When the information terminal is connected to the network from outdoors, the display control unit 516 displays a program list not including the distribution content. When the information terminal is connected to the network from indoors, the display control unit 516 displays a program list including all the contents.
According to information terminal 100 of embodiment 2, for example, if connection is made via a registered public wireless LAN, determination unit 514 determines that connection is from indoors. Thus, even if the connection is made from the public wireless LAN, the user can view a desired program by acquiring the program list as in the indoor environment, for example, when the communication speed of the public wireless LAN is sufficiently high.
According to information terminal 100 of embodiment 2, determination unit 514 determines whether the connection status of the network is indoor or outdoor based on the public line mode. This allows the user to receive more detailed service provision according to the connection environment at that time, and the number of options for the service mode of the user increases.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described, the embodiments are provided as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. The embodiments may be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and modifications are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the technical means described in the claims and the equivalent scope thereof.
