Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a terminal for selecting random access.
Background
The contention-based random access procedure includes: four-step random access and two-step random access. The four-step random access comprises the following steps: MSG1, MSG2, MSG3 and MSG 4; wherein MSG1 is random access preamble, MSG2 is random access response, MSG3 and MSG4 are random access collision resolution. The two-step random access comprises MSGA and MSGB; the MSG a may be a preamble + Uplink information, and the Uplink information is carried through a PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel).
Two-step random access has the advantage of faster access to the network than four-step random access, two-step random access only requires two messages to resolve the collision, and four-step random access requires 4 messages to resolve the collision. The MSGA of the two-step random access consists of a preamble and an uplink resource (or referred to as PUSCH), and if the MSGA collides, the terminal needs to resend the MSG a or return to the four-step random access, which brings extra delay.
In the prior art, there is no scheme for how a terminal selects an access mode in two-step random access and four-step random access when the terminal simultaneously supports two-step random access and four-step random access.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical problems, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the following detailed description is given with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for selecting a random access, which is applied to a terminal, and includes:
the random access mode used by the terminal comprises the following steps: four-step random access or two-step random access.
As an alternative embodiment, step 11 comprises:
if the first service is established by triggering the random access, determining to use two-step random access;
if the second service is established by triggering the random access, determining to use the four-step random access;
if the first event or reason is established by triggering the random access, determining to use two-step random access;
and if the second event or reason is used for triggering the random access establishment, determining to use the four-step random access.
The first service is a low-delay service, and the second service is a service insensitive to delay;
the first event or cause may be a voice call and the second event or cause may be terminal initiated data.
Or, the first service is a service insensitive to time delay; the second service is a low-delay service;
the first event or reason may be terminal initiated data; the second event or cause may be a voice call.
For example, an event triggering random access establishment is a beam recovery event, and it is determined that the terminal uses two-step random access; and the event triggering the random access establishment is a Radio Resource Control (RRC) reestablishment event, and the terminal is determined to use four-step random access.
As yet another alternative, before step 11, the method further comprises:
receiving first random access division information sent by network side equipment, wherein the first random access division information is used for indicating random access modes corresponding to different services or events or reasons; the first random access partition information may be directly indicated by a display indication manner, for example, shown in a table mapping manner, or shown in an index mapping manner; the service or event or reason indicated in one information domain can also be indicated by an implicit indication mode, for example, the service or event or reason indicated in another information domain is the service or event or reason using two-step random access, and the service or event or reason indicated in another information domain is the service or event or reason using four-step random access; not to mention here.
Accordingly, step 11 comprises:
and determining a random access mode corresponding to a service or event or reason for triggering random access establishment as a random access mode used by the terminal according to the indication of the first random access division information.
For example, the network broadcasts service-based first random access partition information containing at least one of: the first service and the two-step random access resource used for the first service, and the second service and the four-step random access resource used for the second service. The terminal receives the first random access division information, and when the terminal triggers random access based on the first service, the terminal uses two-step random access; and when the terminal triggers random access based on the second service, the terminal uses four-step random access.
As another alternative, step 11 comprises:
if the first service is established by triggering random access and the channel quality of the service cell is greater than or equal to a first threshold value, determining that the terminal uses two-step random access;
if the random access is triggered to establish a second service, or the channel quality of the service cell is smaller than a first threshold value, determining that the terminal uses four-step random access;
if the random access is triggered to be established as a first event or reason and the channel quality of the serving cell is greater than or equal to a first threshold value, determining that the terminal uses two-step random access;
and if the random access is triggered to be established by a second event or reason, or the channel quality of the service cell is smaller than a first threshold value, determining that the terminal uses four-step random access.
The first service is a low-delay service, and the second service is a service insensitive to delay;
the first event or cause may be a voice call and the second event or cause may be terminal initiated data.
Or, the first service is a service insensitive to time delay; the second service is a low-delay service;
the first event or reason may be terminal initiated data; the second event or cause may be a voice call.
The network side equipment of the embodiment of the invention determines whether to use two-step random access or four-step random access simultaneously based on the channel quality and the service or event or reason triggering the random access establishment.
For example, the terminal initiates a low-latency service, and the channel quality (reference symbol received power, RSRP, or cell selection received rank value, Srxlev) of the serving cell is greater than a first threshold value, two-step random access is used. And the terminal initiates a delay insensitive service, or the RSRP (or the Srxlev) of the serving cell is smaller than a first threshold value, and then four-step random access is used.
As yet another alternative, before step 11, the method further comprises:
receiving second random access division information sent by network side equipment, wherein the second random access division information is used for indicating random access modes corresponding to different services or events or reasons and channel quality threshold values corresponding to different random access modes; the second random access partition information may be directly indicated by a display indication manner, for example, displayed in a table mapping manner, or displayed in an index mapping manner; the service or event or reason indicated in one information domain can also be indicated by an implicit indication mode, for example, the service or event or reason indicated in another information domain is the service or event or reason using two-step random access, and the service or event or reason indicated in another information domain is the service or event or reason using four-step random access; not to mention here.
Accordingly, step 11 comprises:
and according to the indication of the second random access division information, under the condition that the channel quality of the service cell meets a corresponding channel quality threshold value, determining a random access mode corresponding to a service or event or reason for triggering random access establishment as a random access mode used by the terminal.
For example, the network broadcasts second random access partition information based on traffic and channel, including at least one of: the method comprises a first service, a channel quality threshold value, two-step random access resources, a second service, a channel quality threshold value and four-step random access resources. When the terminal initiates a first service and the serving cell Srxlev or RSRP detected by the terminal is larger than the channel quality threshold value, the terminal initiates two-step random access by using two-step random access resources configured by a network; and when the terminal initiates a second service and/or detects that the serving cell Srxlev or RSRP is larger than the channel quality threshold value, the terminal initiates four-step random access by using the four-step random access resources configured by the network.
In summary, in the embodiment of the present invention, the terminal may select to use a two-step random access manner for random access or a four-step random access manner for random access according to a service or event or reason triggering random access establishment, or according to channel quality and the service or event or reason triggering random access establishment, so as to improve a success rate of random access.
As shown in fig. 2, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a method for selecting a random access, which is applied to a terminal, and includes:
Optionally, the indication information may be one piece of information in the system information, or configured to the terminal through RRC signaling, which is not specifically limited herein.
As an optional embodiment, the indication information is used to indicate a random access mode used by the terminal. That is, the indication information display indicates that the terminal uses two-step random access or four-step random access, for example, when the indication information is "0", the terminal uses two-step random access, and when the indication information is "1", the terminal uses four-step random access.
As another optional embodiment, the indication information is used to indicate an uplink resource for random access; namely, the terminal is implicitly indicated to use two-step random access or four-step random access through the indication information.
Accordingly, step 22 includes at least one of:
if the uplink resource of the random access indicated by the indication information is the uplink resource of the two-step random access, determining that the terminal uses the two-step random access;
and if the uplink resource of the random access indicated by the indication information is the uplink resource of the four-step random access, determining that the terminal uses the four-step random access.
Wherein, the uplink resources of the two-step random access comprise: the two steps of random access are lead code resources, random access opportunity resources (PRACH occase) and Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) resources; the four-step random access uplink resource comprises: and the four steps of random access lead code resources and random access time resources.
It should be noted that the division of the uplink resources for the two-step random access and the uplink resources for the four-step random access may be distinguished by allocating different random access opportunities (PRACH opportunities) or preambles to them by the network.
As another alternative, the indication information is used to indicate a resource proportion threshold value; the resource proportion threshold value can be configured by the network side equipment according to the proportion of the two-step random access resource and the four-step random access resource; for example, the ratio of the two-step random access resource to the four-step random access resource is 4:6, and the resource ratio threshold may be 0.4.
Accordingly, step 22 comprises:
randomly generating a random number or generating a target value according to a preset formula;
if the random number or the target value is smaller than the resource proportion threshold value, determining that the terminal uses two-step random access;
and if the random number or the target value is larger than or equal to the resource proportion threshold value, determining that the terminal uses four-step random access.
Alternatively, the random number or target value is typically a value between 0 and 1.
For example, if the resource ratio threshold is 0.4, each terminal generates 0-1 random numbers before initiating random access, selects two-step random access when the value is less than 0.4, and selects four-step random access when the value is more than 0.4; or the terminal generates a value by using a certain specific formula or algorithm, two-step random access is used when the value is less than 0.4, and four-step random access is used when the value is more than 0.4.
randomly generating a random number or generating a target value according to a preset formula;
