Description

Personal hotspot opening method, mobile terminal, electronic device and readable storage medium
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications, and in particular, to a method for starting a personal hotspot function based on performance priority, a mobile terminal, an electronic device, and a readable storage medium.
Background
With the improvement of living standard and the development of mobile communication industry, mobile terminals, especially intelligent mobile terminals, are rapidly popularized, and become indispensable intelligent assistants for daily study, work and life of people. The upgrade of the mobile network from 3G to 4G to 5G greatly improves the data communication capability of the mobile network. The downlink peak rate of a 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) network can reach 100 Mb/s-600 Mb/s, and the downlink peak rate of a 5G network which is commercially tested in 2019 is up to Gb level. The combination of the improvement of the data communication capability of the mobile network and the mobility of the mobile terminal promotes the appearance and popularization of the 'personal hot spot' function of the mobile terminal. Currently, the "personal hotspot" function has become the standard of mobile terminals. The personal hotspot function can share a high-speed mobile Network of the mobile terminal, and becomes a new choice for connecting other user mobile terminals to the internet, especially in an Area which is not covered by a wired Network and a public WLAN (abbreviation of Wireless Local Area Network).
CN 107241771 a describes a network switching method for a mobile terminal, wherein a wireless hotspot network with good communication quality and stable connection is provided for a client, by comparing the communication quality of a currently accessed wireless hotspot with the communication quality of other currently available wireless hotspots and selecting a target hotspot with better quality to access.
CN 106792984B describes a WiFi hotspot scanning connection control method, wherein, by comparing current environment information with historical attribute information of each hotspot in a preset hotspot database, a hotspot scanning connection with the highest matching degree is selected, so that the mobile terminal can scan a WiFi hotspot which is most matched with the current environment as preferentially as possible.
CN 106792953 a describes a network handover method, in which a currently connected WiFi network is handed over to a mobile network under the condition that a preset threshold set by a user is met.
However, in the above-mentioned prior art documents, the "personal hotspot" (also referred to as a wireless hotspot or WiFi hotspot) function of the mobile terminal is turned on without considering the surrounding network environment, so the performance of the shared mobile network may not be the best.
Therefore, there is a need for a method for intelligently determining whether to start a "personal hotspot" function of a mobile terminal and remind a user of a network with optimal service performance according to a network environment around the mobile terminal, and a mobile terminal, an electronic device and a readable storage medium including the personal hotspot function.

In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the performance index is a time delay, the tool mode is a "ping server", and in the hotspot opening determination step, when the time delay of the screened support mobile network is smaller than the time delay of the screened available wireless network, it is determined that the performance of the screened support mobile network is better than the performance of the screened available wireless network.

Fig. 3 schematically shows a specific process of an embodiment of the method for turning on a personal hotspot function based on performance precedence according to the invention.
Step S201: scanning for acquisition of surrounding wireless networks
When the switch of the personal hotspot function of the mobile terminal is turned on, the mobile terminal calls the WLAN module of the mobile terminal to scan and acquire the information of the surrounding wireless network. The function of the WLAN module to scan for the surrounding wireless networks is the original function of the mobile terminal, and is not described herein too much.
There is at least one wireless network around the mobile terminal. If no wireless network exists around the mobile terminal through scanning, the next working process of the invention can be directly stopped, and the personal hotspot function of the mobile terminal can be directly started.
Step S202: analyzing available wireless networks
And the mobile terminal analyzes the wireless network information scanned and acquired by the WLAN module and screens out available wireless networks. The available wireless networks in the present invention can be divided into two categories: one is an open wireless network around the mobile terminal, i.e., a wireless network that does not require password authentication; another class is the saved wireless networks to which the mobile terminal has been connected.
There is at least one wireless network available around the mobile terminal. If no available wireless network exists around the mobile terminal after analysis, the next working process of the invention can be directly stopped, and the personal hotspot function of the mobile terminal can be directly started.
Step S203: network performance analysis
The performance of the available wireless networks and mobile networks supported by the mobile terminal is analyzed. The mobile terminal analyzes the performance of wireless networks available around the mobile terminal one by one. The indexes for measuring the network performance mainly comprise bandwidth, time delay, bandwidth time delay product and the like. In the invention, the time delay is used as a main index for analyzing the performance of the mobile network supported by the available wireless network and the mobile terminal. There are many tools for measuring network time delay, in the invention, the time delay under different available wireless networks or different types of mobile networks supported by mobile terminals is obtained by selecting a 'ping server' mode, and the obtained time delay is used as a performance index for measuring the available wireless networks and the mobile networks supported by the mobile terminals. Of course, in addition to using the time delay as an index for analyzing the performance of the available wireless network, other indexes such as bandwidth may be used. Meanwhile, except that the tool "ping server" can be used for obtaining the time delay of the network, other tool modes can be used for obtaining the time delay of the network. The invention does not limit the indexes and the specific tool modes used when the performance of the available wireless network and the mobile network of different systems supported by the mobile terminal is analyzed.
Similarly, while analyzing the performance of the available wireless networks around the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal should analyze the performance of the supported mobile networks of different standards (such as 3G, 4G, 5G, etc.) one by one according to the service and package condition of the mobile phone card of the communication operator installed and used by the mobile terminal. When the performance of the supported mobile networks of different systems is analyzed, the same performance index and tool mode as those used for analyzing the available wireless networks around the mobile terminal are used, so that the objectivity and fairness in the process of comparing the performance of the available wireless networks and the performance of the supported mobile networks are ensured. Optionally, if the mobile terminal itself does not have a mobile phone card for using a communication carrier, the following working process of the present invention can be directly stopped, and the personal hot spot function of the mobile terminal can be directly started. In addition, if the flow in the mobile phone card package used by the mobile terminal is insufficient, the user can be reminded not to start the personal hotspot function.
Step S204: mobile network performance ≧ wireless network performance?
The performance of the supported mobile network and the available wireless network are compared. The mobile terminal compares the performances of the supported mobile networks of different standards one by one, and screens out the supported mobile network with the optimal performance. Specifically, time delays of mobile networks supported by different systems are compared, and the mobile network system supported by the minimum time delay is used as the screened mobile network supported by the optimal performance; and similarly, screening out the available wireless network with the best performance by adopting the same method. Alternatively, if only one or more of the available wireless networks or the supported mobile network types are available, the process of screening the network with the best performance can be omitted.
And the mobile terminal compares the performances of the screened available wireless network with the optimal performance with the performances of the supported mobile network and judges whether the performance of the available wireless network is superior to the performance of the supported mobile network. The comparison method is to directly compare the time delay of the available wireless network and the time delay of the supported mobile network, if the time delay of the available wireless network is less than the time delay of the supported mobile network, the performance of the available wireless network can be judged to be superior to that of the supported mobile network; conversely, it may be determined that the performance of the available wireless network is worse than the performance of the supported mobile network.
Step S205: personal hotspot opening or reminding use of available wireless network
And the mobile terminal starts a personal hotspot function or reminds a user of the available wireless network with excellent service performance according to the rule according to the performance relation between the available wireless network and the supported mobile network.
Step S205-1: opening personal hotspots
And if the performance of the available wireless network around the mobile terminal is inferior to that of the mobile network supported by the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal starts the personal hotspot function.
Step S205-2: reminding of using a wireless network
And if the performance of the available wireless network around the mobile terminal is better than or equal to the performance of the mobile network supported by the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal reminds the user of the existence of the wireless network with better available performance and recommends the user to use the available wireless network.
Optionally, before the mobile terminal opens the personal hotspot, it may also determine whether the format of the mobile network in residence is the same as the format of the mobile network whose performance is better than that of the available wireless network around. If the two are the same, the personal hotspot function can be directly started; otherwise, the mobile terminal also performs network reselection, reselects the network where the mobile terminal resides as the mobile network standard with performance superior to that of the available surrounding wireless network, and then starts the personal hotspot function.
Examples of the invention
In order to more intuitively and specifically explain the working process of the present invention, embody the advantages of the present invention and bring convenience to the user, the working process of the present invention is described in detail below with reference to an example.
Suppose user a is cell phone P30, which has the personal hotspot function of the present invention that is turned on preferentially based on performance. User a uses the mobile phone number "186 xxxx 1111" of a certain carrier "china XX" on P30. The working process of the embodiment is as follows:
step S301: scanning for acquisition of surrounding wireless networks
In this example, assume that user a at some point turns on the switch that hua is P30 to set the personal hotspot function in the menu. According to the existing method for starting the personal hotspot function, the P30 should immediately start the personal hotspot function to share the mobile network. However, in the present invention, the P30 does not turn on the personal hotspot function for the moment, but scans the information of the surrounding wireless networks through its WLAN module, and finds that there are 3 wireless networks around the P30, as shown in table 1:
TABLE 1 Hua is the wireless network around P30 (example)
Number of Wireless network name Whether to open a network Remarks for note
1 Network-1 Is that Can be used
2 Network-2 Whether or not Can be used
3 Network-3 Whether or not Is not available
Step S302: analyzing available wireless networks
In this example, hua is P30, which analyzes the surrounding wireless networks scanned and obtained in step S301, and screens out available wireless networks. Specifically, the availability of the wireless network is first determined based on the openness of the wireless network. It is obvious that the wireless Network "Network-1" in table 1 is an open wireless Network, and it can be determined that it is an available wireless Network. Next, the information of the stored wireless networks that have been connected previously, which are stored in the own WLAN module, is read and compared with the wireless networks in table 1 one by one. If the wireless network in table 1 is the same as a previously connected stored wireless network, it can be determined to be an available wireless network. Here, "Network-2" is assumed to be a stored wireless Network to which P30 has been previously connected, and is therefore an available wireless Network.
Step S303: in this example, in step S302, it is assumed that P30 has already analyzed and screened out the wireless networks "Network-1" and "Network-2" as available wireless networks. Next, P30 connects wireless networks "Network-1" and "Network-2" in the background, respectively, and sends a packet to Baidu Server "www.baidu.com" using tool "ping" to test its latency, which is formatted as "ping www.baidu.com". The time delay of the wireless Network-1 is set to be 20 milliseconds, and the time delay of the wireless Network-2 is set to be 24 milliseconds.
Meanwhile, the P30 analyzes and confirms that the 2G/3G/4G/5G network can be supported according to the business and package condition of the installed/used operator 'Chinese XX' mobile phone number '186 xxxx 1111'. The P30 analyzes the network performance of the self-supportable 2G/3G/4G/5G by adopting the same method as the available wireless network. Let P30 analyze the time delay of supportable mobile network 2G/3G/4G/5G to be 50/40/23/15 ms.
Step S304: comparing performance of supported mobile networks and available wireless networks
In this example, in step S303, it is analyzed that P30 obtains the Network performance index delays of the available wireless networks "Network-1" and "Network-2" and the Network performance index delays of the supportable mobile networks 2G/3G/4G/5G. Next, P30 screens out available wireless networks and supportable mobile networks with optimal performance, i.e. minimum delay, according to the index delay of Network performance, where it is obvious that there are available wireless networks with optimal performance, which are "Network-1", and the supportable mobile Network with optimal performance is 5G.
P30 compares the time delay of the screened wireless Network "Network-1" and the supportable mobile Network 5G, obviously, the time delay of the supportable mobile Network 5G 15 milliseconds is less than the time delay of the wireless Network "Network-1" 20 milliseconds, and the performance of the available wireless Network can be judged to be worse than that of the supportable mobile Network.
Step S305: personal hotspot starting or reminding use of wireless network
In this example, in step S304, since P30 has determined that the performance of the available wireless network is worse than that of the supportable mobile terminal, the personal hotspot function is turned on according to the rule P30 to share the mobile network for others.
Finally, it should be noted that: the above embodiments are only used for illustrating the technical solutions of the present disclosure, and not for limiting the same; while the present disclosure has been described in detail with reference to the foregoing embodiments, those of ordinary skill in the art will understand that: the technical solutions described in the foregoing embodiments may still be modified, or some or all of the technical features may be equivalently replaced; and such modifications or substitutions do not depart from the spirit and scope of the corresponding technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure.
