Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, the same numbers in different drawings refer to the same or similar elements, unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the following exemplary examples are not representative of all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with some aspects of the present disclosure as detailed in the accompanying claims.
The manual network searching method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure is applied to the network system architecture shown in fig. 1. Fig. 1 illustrates a network system architecture diagram shown in an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 1, the network system architecture 100 includes a base station 101A, a base station 101B, a data server 102, and a terminal 103. A connection may be established and communication may be made between terminal 103 and base station 101A, base station 101B, and data server 102. The terminal 103 of the embodiment of the disclosure supports a manual network searching function. The manual network searching function aims at the supplementary service requirement of the terminal, and the supplementary service needs the terminal to be in an idle state for carrying out. In the related art, in order to realize the manual network searching function, the terminal actively disconnects the data connection before the manual network searching, so that the terminal can be ensured to be in an idle state. However, after the terminal actively disconnects the data connection before the manual network searching, because some previous services may not be cut off, the terminal often receives the data domain paging message issued by the network in the manual network searching process, so that the terminal enters a connection state to interrupt the manual network searching process, and the manual network searching failure is caused.
However, in the practical application scenario, the data domain paging message received by the terminal in the manual network searching process is unnecessary, because the terminal actively disconnects the data connection, which means that the data service is not needed in the process.
In view of this, the embodiments of the present disclosure provide a manual network searching method, in which, in the process of starting and executing a manual network searching, if a data domain paging message issued by a network is received, the data domain paging message can be selected to be directly ignored, so that a terminal cannot enter a connection state in the manual network searching process, further, smooth execution of the manual network searching is ensured, and the success rate of the manual network searching is improved.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal performs a manual network searching process, which can be understood as a process of performing a data mobile network search. It will be appreciated that the manual network search and data mobile network search processes in the embodiments of the present disclosure are sometimes used interchangeably, as those skilled in the art will understand their meaning.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a manual network searching method according to an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, for use in a terminal. The terminal may be, for example, a smart phone, a tablet computer, a wearable device, a PC, or the like. The embodiment of the present disclosure is not limited to the kind of the applied device. Referring to fig. 2, the manual network searching method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure includes the following steps.
In step S11, in response to the user triggering the terminal to perform manual network searching, the wireless link established with the network end is released and the searching of the data mobile network is started.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, before the terminal performs the manual network searching, a radio link bearer is established with a network end (e.g., a base station, a server, etc.), for example, a radio resource control (Radio Resource Control, RRC) connection is established between the terminal and the base station. And the terminal and the network side interact application data based on the wireless link.
The manual network searching by the terminal can be triggered by a user. And responding to the user triggering the terminal to perform manual network searching, and in order to enable the terminal to enter an idle state to perform searching of the data mobile network, the terminal needs to disconnect an established wireless link between the terminal and a network end. The terminal disconnects the established wireless link between the terminal and the network end, and the application data interaction is terminated, so that the available resources of the terminal can be ensured to be used for manual network searching.
The terminal disconnects the established wireless link between the terminal and the network terminal and starts the search of the data mobile network.
In step S12, if it is determined that the terminal receives the data domain paging message in the process of searching for the data mobile network, the data domain paging message is ignored until the terminal completes searching for the data mobile network.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, although the terminal disconnects the established wireless link with the network end, when the wireless link is interrupted, the application program of the terminal does not actually exit, and the terminal still may receive a data domain paging message for interaction between the application program and the server, and the data domain paging message may abnormally interrupt manual network searching. In the embodiment of the disclosure, if the terminal is determined to receive the data domain paging message in the process of searching the data mobile network, the data domain paging message is ignored until the terminal finishes searching the data mobile network, so that the terminal is ensured to search the data mobile network smoothly.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, during the process of manually searching for the network by the terminal, the network side may detect an abnormality of the application data and initiate retransmission, or initiate a new service request to the application program of the terminal, where the data retransmission and the request are sent to the terminal in the form of paging messages at the radio link layer. In one implementation of the disclosed embodiment, in response to a terminal receiving a retransmission request sent by a network end in a process of searching a data mobile network, it is determined that the terminal receives a paging message in a process of searching the data mobile network. Or on the other hand, in response to the terminal receiving a new service request initiated by the application program of the network end to the terminal in the process of searching the data mobile network, determining that the terminal receives the paging message in the process of searching the data mobile network.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the application program of the terminal does not need to perform data processing in the manual network searching process, so that the terminal in the embodiment of the disclosure receives the data domain paging message in the process of searching the data mobile network and can directly discard the data domain paging message. That is, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the data domain paging message received by the terminal in the process of searching the data mobile network is ignored.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal does not need to process data service in the manual network searching process, but the terminal needs to process non-data service such as voice service and the like. Therefore, in the embodiment of the disclosure, if the terminal is determined to receive the non-data domain paging message in the process of searching the data mobile network, the non-data domain paging message is responded to ensure that the terminal normally processes the non-data domain service.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, in order to ensure that the terminal performs the manual network searching smoothly, the data domain paging message received before the terminal performs the manual network searching is ignored. After the terminal searches the data mobile network, the searched data mobile network name can be displayed on a display interface of the terminal so that a user can check the searched data mobile network, and the data mobile network can be switched according to actual requirements.
In one implementation of the disclosed embodiment, the terminal ignores the data domain paging message until the searched data mobile network name is displayed on the display interface of the terminal, so as to ensure that the terminal can ignore the data domain paging message in the whole process of searching the data mobile network, avoid the data domain paging message from interrupting the process of searching the data mobile network by the terminal, and improve the success rate of manual network searching.
According to the manual network searching method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, if the data domain paging message is received in the manual network searching process, the data domain paging message is discarded, the process that the data domain paging message interrupts the terminal to search the data mobile network is avoided, and the success rate of the manual network searching is improved.
The manual network searching method according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is described below with reference to practical applications.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating a manual network search implementation process according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 3, before an application program of a mobile terminal interacts with a server, the terminal establishes a radio link bearer with a radio network. After the radio link bearer is established, the application program of the mobile terminal can normally transmit the data of the application layer, wherein the data of the application layer is established on the radio link, but the data of the application layer is not perceived by the radio link. Under the condition that the application program is normally used, the user can possibly initiate a manual network searching process. After the user initiates the manual network searching, the terminal can break the wireless link, so that the terminal enters an idle state to ensure that the terminal has available resources for the manual network searching. When the wireless link is interrupted, the application of the terminal does not actually exit, and at this time, the interaction between the application and the server is abnormally interrupted. Under the condition that the interaction of the application program is interrupted, the terminal enters an idle state and can start manual network searching. In the process of manually searching for the network by the terminal, the server side may detect the abnormality of the application data and initiate retransmission, or initiate a new service request to the application program of the mobile terminal, where the data retransmission and the request are sent to the terminal in the form of paging message at the radio link layer.
In the process of manually searching the network, the terminal receives the paging message of the data domain, and if the terminal does not perform special treatment, the terminal responds to the paging message and reestablishes the wireless link, so that the network searching process is interrupted, and the network searching failure is caused. When the terminal receives the paging message, the terminal determines the type of the paging message, if the received paging message is a data domain paging message, the data domain paging message is unnecessary and can be discarded, so that the manual network searching process can be normally completed.
The manual network searching method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure can be used as an enhanced manual network searching mode for users to select, and ensures the success rate of the manual network searching of the users. In the embodiment of the disclosure, a function switch for enabling the data domain paging message to be ignored in the manual network searching process can be set. The function switch may be enabled when the user needs to use a function of ignoring the data domain paging message during the manual network searching process.
Based on the same conception, the embodiment of the disclosure also provides a manual network searching device.
It can be understood that, in order to implement the above-mentioned functions, the manual network searching device provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure includes corresponding hardware structures and/or software modules for executing each function.
