Description

Control method, terminal and network equipment for HARQ (hybrid automatic repeat request) process feedback
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, a terminal, and a network device for controlling HARQ process feedback.
Background
In a Node-to-Node (NTN) network, a satellite-to-ground delay is too long, a Hybrid Automatic Repeat request (HARQ) retransmission technology in a conventional ground network is challenged, and at least for GEO and MEO networks, the soft buffer (soft buffer) capability of a UE is limited due to an excessively large number of HARQ processes.
In the prior art, the NTN network has the capability of configuring whether the UE turns off the HARQ function, and instead, the NTN may employ radio link control automatic retransmission (RLC ARQ retransmission). HARQ interruption means that the UE cannot do soft combining. When the transmission of a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) fails, the RLC layer retransmission can also work, but compared with the HARQ retransmission of the MAC layer, the spectrum efficiency is low, and the UE cannot perform soft combining on multiple retransmission results; the delay is longer, in order to avoid RLC layer retransmission, the NTN network needs means for reducing spectrum efficiency, such as repeated transmission, a Block error Rate (BLER) target, a Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) scheduling, and the like; the success rate of initial transmission is improved, and the frequency efficiency of the NTN network is lower.

Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the present disclosure may be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for controlling HARQ process feedback, which is applied to a terminal, and the method includes:
and 11, starting or closing the HARQ process feedback according to the information for starting or closing the HARQ process feedback.
The embodiment of the invention starts or closes the HARQ process feedback according to the information for starting or closing the HARQ process feedback; therefore, HARQ process feedback can be selected and used in a targeted mode according to specific conditions, and transmission efficiency is improved.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the information for turning on or off HARQ process feedback includes at least one of the following:
1) the number of HARQ processes which can be run in parallel by the terminal;
2) probability of HARQ retransmission;
3) the radio link controls the retransmission times of the RLC;
4) HARQ process used by service;
5) channel quality;
6) the reliability requirements of the service;
7) the data resource bearing DRB and/or the signaling resource bearing SRB mapped by the service;
8) and configuring a logical channel or a logical channel group corresponding to the DRB and/or SRB of the service mapping.
The number of HARQ processes that the terminal can run in parallel here can be derived from at least one of the following information: soft combining capability of the terminal;
data arrival characteristics of the service;
and presetting historical data of the service.
The HARQ retransmission probability here may be calculated by the terminal according to the measurement of the channel quality, or the terminal predicts the HARQ retransmission probability of the current period according to the historical HARQ retransmission probability, or the terminal predicts the HARQ retransmission probability of the current period according to the measurement of the channel quality and the historical HARQ retransmission probability. For example, the terminal estimates the probability of HARQ retransmission based on the measurement of signals of Channel State Reference Signal (CSI-RS)/Synchronization Signal Block (SSB)/Cell Reference Signal (CRS). Here, the number of retransmissions of the RLC is the number of retransmissions of the RLC within a preset time period.
As shown in fig. 2, starting from time K1, in 1 scheduling period, a dashed line in the figure indicates one transmission of a service, HARQ feedback of an HARQ process of an eMBB service is closed, HARQ feedback of an HARQ process of a high-reliability low-latency service is closed, after M RLC retransmissions fail, if HARQ feedback of an HARQ process is closed, RLC may retransmit all the time, which greatly affects transmission efficiency, and at this time, HARQ feedback of an HARQ process needs to be opened. Next, according to these conditions, HARQ feedback of the HARQ process is started, thereby improving transmission efficiency.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, after step 11, the method may further include:
and step 112, sending feedback information for starting or closing the HARQ process feedback to the network device. The feedback information includes at least one of:
starting or closing feedback information of HARQ feedback of the terminal in the HARQ process of the preset cell and/or the cell group, or only closing feedback information of the HARQ feedback of the terminal in the HARQ process of the preset cell and/or the cell group;
the feedback information of the HARQ feedback of the HARQ process when the logical channel and/or the logical channel group corresponding to the DRB and/or the SRB is opened or closed, or only the feedback information of the HARQ feedback of the HARQ process of the scheduling configuration or the semi-persistent scheduling SPS is closed;

transmitting feedback information of HARQ feedback for starting or closing the HARQ process through a Medium Access Control (MAC) CE, or transmitting feedback information of HARQ feedback for only closing the HARQ process through the MAC CE;
and presetting a Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) which indicates to open or close HARQ feedback of the HARQ process.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the turning on or off the information fed back by the HARQ process includes: when the number of HARQ processes that the terminal can operate in parallel is greater, step 11 may include:
step 111, determining an effective time point corresponding to the HARQ process according to the number of HARQ processes which can be operated by the terminal in parallel; the valid time point here may be a possible downstream data arrival point; and starting or closing the HARQ process according to the number of the HARQ processes and the effective time point corresponding to the HARQ process.
Here, the terminal calculates how many HARQ processes can be run in parallel according to its own soft combining capability, or the UE obtains the data arrival characteristics of the service to the core network or the application layer, or the terminal calculates the number of HARQ processes required for one Round-Trip Time (RTT) Time according to historical data before a certain type of service, determines an effective Time point corresponding to the HARQ process according to the number of HARQ processes, and opens or closes the HARQ process according to the number of HARQ processes and the effective Time point corresponding to the HARQ process. Therefore, HARQ can be dynamically started or closed, and the transmission efficiency is improved.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the turning on or off the information fed back by the HARQ process includes: when the number of retransmissions of the RLC is greater, step 11 may include:
step 112, turning on or off the HARQ process feedback, including: and when the retransmission times of the RLC reach a preset threshold H1, the terminal starts at least partial HARQ process feedback.
As shown in fig. 2, after M RLC retransmissions fail, if the HARQ feedback of the HARQ process is closed, the RLC may retransmit all the time, which greatly affects transmission efficiency, and at this time, the HARQ feedback of the HARQ process needs to be started. And when the retransmission times of the RLC reaches a preset threshold H1, starting HARQ feedback of the HARQ process, thereby improving the transmission efficiency.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the turning on or off the information fed back by the HARQ process includes: when the HARQ process is used for a service, step 11 may include:
