Abstract
In order to avoid water suction or water back on the windshield of a motor vehicle moving at higher speeds, in particular in the range of 60km/h to 120km/h, a motor vehicle wiper blade (1) is proposed, comprising: a spoiler (10) extending in a longitudinal direction (L) and a lip (15) provided thereon, the spoiler (10) having a recess (45) extending in the direction of the lip (15) in its longitudinal direction (L); and an inner circular side (IK) and an outer circular side (AK), wherein the notch (45) is located on the inner circular side (IK) of the motor vehicle wiper blade (1), whereas no notch (45) is provided on the outer circular side (AK) of the motor vehicle wiper blade (1).
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a motor vehicle wiper blade according to claim 1.
Background
Motor vehicle windscreen wiper devices usually have a wiper arm to which a motor vehicle wiper blade is fixed. The motor vehicle wiper blade has a spoiler on the upper side. On the underside, a wiping lip is provided, which comes into contact with the windshield to be wiped. In order to move the wiper arm from a first reversal position (i.e. the initial position of the wiper arm when the motor vehicle windscreen wiper device is not in operation) into a second reversal position (i.e. the maximum deflection position of the wiper arm when the motor vehicle windscreen wiper device is in operation) and back, the wiper arm is fixed on a shaft driven by an electric motor. The wiper arm or a part of the motor vehicle wiper blade arranged thereon adjacent to the shaft is located on the so-called inner circular side of the wiper arm, while the wiper arm or a part of the motor vehicle wiper blade arranged thereon distally away from the shaft is located on the so-called outer circular side of the wiper arm. Corresponding exemplary motor vehicle wiper devices are known from DE 102007033682 a1 and DE 102015204547 a 1.
DE 102016010836 a1 discloses a wiper blade for a motor vehicle, which wiper blade has a spoiler and a lip arranged on the spoiler. The spoiler has a recess which extends parabolically over a large part of the longitudinal direction of the spoiler and in the direction of the lip. Thus, the recess known from DE 102016010836 a1 extends from the inner circular side to the outer circular side of the motor vehicle wiper blade. The task of the recess is to equalize the pressing pressure of the motor vehicle wiper blade on the motor vehicle windshield over its length, in particular on the inner and outer circular sides.
However, the motor vehicle wiper blades known from practice, which are fixed to the motor vehicle as intended, have the following disadvantages: in the higher speed range, in particular in the speed range of approximately 60km/h to 120km/h, the motor vehicle wiper blade tends to so-called water suction (Wassereinzug) or water withdrawal (wasserruckzug), wherein a portion of the water which has been removed from the field of view of the motor vehicle occupant as the wiper arm is moved back in the direction of the first reversal position from the second reversal position is moved back into the field of view again. In other words, for example in the case of a windscreen wiper on the driver's side of a left-handed motor vehicle, the water moves back again over a large part of the length of the known motor vehicle wiper blade onto the windscreen which has itself removed the water when the motor vehicle wiper blade is moved back from the maximum deflected position of the wiper arm in the a-pillar region into the first reversal position. The water band produced in this case can have a significant width of up to 25cm, as a result of which, in a disadvantageous manner, a visual appearance is produced on the edge side of the motor vehicle windshield, which visual appearance is disturbing to the motor vehicle occupants.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages described above.
The object is achieved by a motor vehicle wiper blade comprising a spoiler extending in a longitudinal direction and a lip provided on the spoiler, the spoiler having a recess extending in its longitudinal direction in the direction of the lip. The motor vehicle wiper blade according to the invention is characterized in that the notch is located on the inner circumferential side of the motor vehicle wiper blade, whereas no notch is provided on the outer circumferential side of the motor vehicle wiper blade. In this way, in the case of a motor vehicle moving at a speed of 60km/h to 120km/h, the drawing in or withdrawal of water by the motor vehicle wiper blades is advantageously avoided. It is noted that the inner circular side of the wiper blade of the motor vehicle may extend from one end of the wiper blade substantially to the suspension circle of the wiper blade seen in the longitudinal direction(hereinafter also referred to as "center" for simplicity). The inner circular side of the motor vehicle wiper blade extends in a particularly advantageous manner from one end of the wiper blade essentially to the location where the fixing device known per se for fixing the motor vehicle wiper blade to the wiper arm is located. Advantageously, the fixing itself takes place at the suspension circle.
According to a preferred embodiment, the recess has a first recess section and at least one second recess section. The motor vehicle wiper blade according to the invention can thus be adapted in a simple manner, for example, to a specific front windshield geometry. In principle, the geometry of the one or more recess sections themselves can be freely selected in a suitable manner. The first recess section can therefore preferably have a profile on its upper side facing away from the lip which differs from the profile of the second recess section or which is identical to the profile of the second recess section. Advantageously, the two notch sections have substantially the same length. It is particularly advantageous if the length of each of the two cutout sections substantially corresponds to the length of the spoiler without cutout sections on the inner circular side.
Advantageously, the motor vehicle wiper blade according to the invention can also be adapted in such a way that the recess has a first recess section and at least one second recess section, which are separated from one another by a respective spoiler section.
The motor vehicle wiper blade according to the invention is advantageously simply fixed at least partially on the wiper arm if at least one fixing device is provided on at least one spoiler section, which fixing device is designed for a non-positive and/or positive connection of the spoiler section to the wiper arm. Preferably, the fixing is performed at the center of the wiper blade at a suspension circle. In a particularly advantageous manner, the fastening device is designed as a spring clip which engages over the spoiler section in a latching point provided on the wiper arm.
According to a preferred embodiment of the motor vehicle wiper blade, it is provided that the recess comprises: a first notch section having a first side facing the lip; a second pocket segment adjacent the first pocket segment having a second side facing the lip; and a third notched section adjacent the second notched section having a third side facing the lip, the upper side of the first side being a distance from the lip that is less than the upper side of the second side, and the upper side of the third side being a distance from the lip that is greater than the upper side of the first side. In an advantageous manner, a motor vehicle wiper blade is thereby provided which is easy to manufacture, but nevertheless functions reliably.
In principle, the recess section may have any suitable geometry and in particular a straight step or side wall at its left and/or right end as seen in the longitudinal direction. Advantageously, the automotive wiper blade comprises at least one notched section having at least one side wall inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction.
Advantageously, the length of the first notch section is less than the length of the second notch section. The length of the third recess section is advantageously smaller than the length of the first recess section and/or the second recess section, particularly advantageously smaller than the length of the first recess section and/or the second recess section by a multiple, in particular three to ten times.
According to another preferred embodiment, the one or more notch sections on the inner circular side are located closer to the longitudinal center or the suspension circle than to the end of the inner circular side which is distally distant from the longitudinal center of the automotive wiper blade. Thereby further avoiding water suction or water withdrawal in an advantageous manner.

Detailed Description
A detailed, non-biased, and particularly non-limiting description of embodiments of the invention is described below with reference to FIGS. 1A-2B, which are not drawn to scale. Unless otherwise indicated, like elements have like reference numerals.
As can be seen from fig. 1A, the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 has a spring rail 5 on which a spoiler 10 and a lip 15 provided thereon are fixed. Said elements extend in the longitudinal direction L, and in the region of the longitudinal center M of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 there is provided a fixing device 20 known per se for fixing the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 on a wiper arm of a motor vehicle (neither shown). The motor vehicle wiper blade 1 has on its left end 25 or its right end 30 in fig. 1A in each case an end piece 35 in the form of an end cap which covers the spring rail 5 and the corresponding end section of the spoiler 10.
The automotive wiper blade 1 has an outer circumferential side AK extending from the left end 25 to the longitudinal center M on its left side in fig. 1A. The automotive wiper blade 1 has an inner circular side IK extending from the right end 30 to the longitudinal center M on its right side in fig. 1A.
On the outer circumferential side AK, the spoiler 10 has a constant contour, as viewed in the longitudinal direction L, i.e. has an upper side 40 with a linear, jump-free extension. On the inner circumferential side IK, however, the spoiler 10 has a recess 45 which, according to the present exemplary embodiment, has a first recess section 45-1 and a second recess section 45-2 adjacent thereto, which is spaced apart by the spoiler section 50.
The first recess section 45-1 is configured with a first inclined side wall 45-3 adjacent to the fixing means 20, to which a side 45-4 substantially parallel to the spring rail 5 or the upper side 40 is connected. The side part 45-4 is connected on the right end in fig. 1A to a side wall 45-5 which is designed mirror-symmetrically to the side wall 45-3 about an axis, not shown here, extending through the side part 45-4 parallel to the center line M and is constructed in the spoiler section 50. In principle, the transition from the side wall 45-3 to the side 45-4 or from the side wall 45-5 to the side 45-4 may have any suitable shape; in the embodiment shown here, the side wall 45-3 or 45-5 transitions arcuately into the side portion 45-4.
The second notch section 45-2 may have a shape that is different from the shape of the first notch section 45-1. However, according to the embodiment shown herein, the first notch section 45-1 is identically configured to the second notch section 45-2.
In addition to the already mentioned end part 35, two further fastening devices 55, which are known per se and which straddle the spoiler 10, are provided for fastening the spoiler 10, of which one fastening device is located on the outer circumferential side AK and the other fastening device is located on the inner circumferential side IK, in particular on the spoiler section 50.
In fig. 1B, the inner circle side portion of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 is again shown in an enlarged side view. In addition, six cross-sections A-A through F-F can be seen, each of which is shown in more detail in FIG. 1C.
The portion of the automotive wiper blade 1 shown according to section a-a has a structure and a contour corresponding to those of the automotive wiper blade 1 according to section F-F and on the outer circumferential side AK of the automotive wiper blade 1. As is known per se from the prior art, the spoiler 10 and the lip 15 are formed in one piece forming a tilting tab 60(Kippsteg) and are slipped onto the spring rail 5 with the gap 65 in the longitudinal direction L. The foot region 70 thus rests on the spring rail 5, from which the spoiler edge 75 projects.
As can be seen from the section B-B or the section E-E, the spoiler 10 has only a foot region 70 in the first recess section 45-1 or the second recess section 45-2, while the spoiler edge 75 is dispensed with. The aerodynamics of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 are thereby modified in an advantageous manner in such a way that water suction or water withdrawal on a motor vehicle windshield of a motor vehicle (not shown) moving at approximately 60km/h to 120km/h is avoided in the range of movement of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 from the second reversal position back into the first reversal position.
The two notch sections 45-1 or 45-2 shown in the embodiment according to fig. 1A to 1C have the same contour as described above. But this is not necessarily so. Conversely, different designs, in particular different contours, of the two cutout sections 45-1 or 45-2 can also be provided. Thus, the foot area 70 in the first notch section 45-1 can be designed differently than the foot area 70 in the second notch section 45-2. Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that a spoiler edge 75 is provided on one or both of the cutout sections 45-1 and 45-2, respectively, which spoiler edges are identical to or different from one another and are different from the spoiler edges 75 in the outer circumferential region of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 and/or of the other sections.
As follows from the alternative embodiment shown in fig. 2A and 2B, the number and/or location of the recesses on the automotive wiper blade 1 is also selectable.
In fig. 2A, which corresponds to the illustration of fig. 1B, the inner circular side IK of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 is shown, wherein the recess has three recess sections 45-1, 45-2 and 45-6 arranged next to one another.
The first recess section 45-1 on the left in fig. 2A directly adjoins the fastening device 20 with its end on the left and, for this reason, has no side wall at this point. In contrast, the first notch section 45-1 has a sidewall 45-5 on its right end that simultaneously forms the left end of the second notch section 45-2. According to this embodiment, the side wall 45-5 projects substantially orthogonally from the lower side 45-4 of the first notch section 45-1, which corresponds to the foot region 70 of the spoiler 10.
The second notch section 45-2 has a side 45-7 extending in the longitudinal direction L, which is configured substantially parallel to the spring rail 5, like the side 45-4 or the corresponding side 45-8 of the third notch section 45-6.
The right end of the second notch section 45-2 in fig. 2A is configured as a sidewall 45-3 extending toward the lower side 45-8. Opposite this side wall, a further side wall 45-9 is provided, which is now inclined and forms the end of the third cutout section 45-6 on the right in fig. 2A.
Also visible in fig. 2A are four cross-sections a-a to D-D, each of which is shown in more detail in fig. 2B.
The portion of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 shown according to section a-a has a structure and contour corresponding to the structure and contour of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 without the wiper blade edge 75 or to the smallest extension (Ansatz) of the spoiler edge 75.
The sections of the motor vehicle wiper blade 1 shown according to sections B-B and C-C each have a spoiler edge 75, but the height of these spoiler edges differs from one another and has a different contour. Thus, the upper side of the first side portion 45-4 is at a distance from the lip 15 that is less than the upper side of the second side portion 45-7 is at a distance from the lip 15, and the upper side of the third side portion 45-8 is at a distance from the lip 15 that is greater than the upper side of the first side portion 45-4, but less than the upper side of the second side portion 45-7 is at a distance from the lip 15.
Finally, the structure and contour of the portion of the automotive wiper blade 1 shown according to the section D-D correspond to the structure and contour of the automotive wiper blade 1 on the outer circumferential side AK.
