Detailed Description
(embodiment mode)
(1) Summary of the invention
An outline of the communication device 1 and the communication system 10 including the communication device 1 according to the present embodiment will be described below with reference to fig. 1 and 2.
The communication system 10 according to the present embodiment is, for example, a system for controlling the electronic lock 3 (electronic lock system). The electronic lock 3 is used to lock or unlock the opening/closing member 5. The opening/closing member 5 is used to open or close the opening 40 of the building 4. The opening/closing member 5 is a door or a window for partitioning the inside (indoor 41) and the outside (outdoor 42) of the building 4, and is, for example, a door (a hinge door or a sliding door) such as a hallway or a side door, a trash opening, or the like. In the present embodiment, the building 4 is a free-standing house, and the opening/closing member 5 is a doorway.
As shown in fig. 1, a communication system 10 includes a communication device 1 and an information terminal 2. The communication device 1 is, for example, an electronic lock device having a function of controlling the electronic lock 3. As shown in fig. 2, the communication device 1 and the electronic lock 3 are provided to the opening/closing member 5. The information terminal 2 is, for example, a smartphone held by the user 6 of the building 4. The user 6 is for example a resident of the building 4.
The communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 are configured to be capable of bidirectional communication. In the present embodiment, the communication method between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is wireless communication using radio waves as a medium. The communication device 1 is configured to: the state of the electronic lock 3 is electrically switched between a locked state in which the opening/closing member 5 is locked and an unlocked state in which the opening/closing member 5 is unlocked by communication with the information terminal 2. That is, the information terminal 2 functions as a key device for locking or unlocking the electronic lock 3.
As a basic function of the communication system (electronic lock system) 10, the information terminal 2 transmits key information including a key id (identification) stored in advance in the information terminal 2 to the communication device 1, whereby the communication device 1 controls the electronic lock 3 to be in an unlocked state. That is, when the communication device 1 communicates with the information terminal 2 and the key information received from the information terminal 2 is successfully authenticated, the electronic lock 3 is in the unlocked state.
The communication device 1 according to the present embodiment includes an acquisition unit 15 and a transmission unit 111. The acquisition unit 15 acquires terminal information related to the information terminal 2 from the information terminal 2. The transmission unit 111 transmits an advertisement signal for notifying that communication is possible to the information terminal 2 in a transmission mode changed according to the information terminal 2.
The "terminal information" referred to in the present disclosure is information related to the information terminal 2, and more specifically, information related to communication between the information terminal 2 and the communication device 1. The terminal information includes, for example, information of a transmission interval (interval) of the advertisement signal transmitted from the communication device 1 (hereinafter, also referred to as "interval information"), model information of the information terminal 2 (information indicating the type of the information terminal 2), and the like. The terminal information may include version information of an Operating System (Operating System) installed in the information terminal 2. In the present embodiment, the terminal information includes interval information of the advertisement signal. That is, in the present embodiment, the information terminal 2 sets the transmission interval of the advertisement signal.
In addition, the "transmission interval" referred to in the present disclosure means an interval between a transmission start timing of the first advertisement signal and a transmission start timing of the second advertisement signal. The transmission interval is preferably a value adjusted in advance by simulation, experiment, or the like, for example. Further, the "advertisement signal" referred to in the present disclosure is a signal for notifying that (two-way) communication is possible. The information terminal 2 can determine whether or not the communication device 1 is present in a communicable range based on whether or not the advertisement signal is received. The "transmission mode" referred to in the present disclosure includes information related to transmission of the advertisement signal, including, for example, a transmission interval of the advertisement signal, data (UUID and the like) included in the advertisement signal, an output format of the advertisement signal, a type of the advertisement signal, and the like. In the present embodiment, the "transmission mode" includes a transmission interval of the advertisement signal.
Here, the timing of transmission and reception of signals in the information terminal 2 may be different depending on the version of an operating system (hereinafter also referred to as "OS") installed in the information terminal 2. Therefore, when the communication device 1 transmits the advertisement signal at a fixed transmission interval, there is a possibility that time is required until the information terminal 2 receives the advertisement signal depending on the version of the OS.
In contrast, in the communication device 1 according to the present embodiment, the transmission unit 111 is configured to transmit the advertisement signal in a transmission mode (transmission interval) that is changed according to the information terminal 2. Therefore, for example, even when the version of the OS (program) installed in the information terminal 2 is changed, the advertisement signal can be transmitted at the transmission interval according to the version of the OS. This reduces the inconvenience that the time required until the information terminal 2 receives the advertisement signal becomes long, and as a result, there is an advantage that the time required until the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 are connected becomes short.
(2) Details of
The communication device 1, the information terminal 2, and the electronic lock 3 according to the present embodiment will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 1.
(2.1) communication device
As shown in fig. 1, the communication device 1 includes a device-side communication unit 11, a device-side control unit 12, a device-side operation unit 13, and a device-side storage unit 14.
The device-side communication unit 11 includes an antenna and a communication circuit, and performs wireless communication using radio waves as a medium. The device-side communication unit 11 is configured to perform short-range wireless communication in accordance with, for example, BLE (registered trademark) Low Energy (Bluetooth Low Energy). The "BLE" is a name of a low power consumption standard among standards of Bluetooth (registered trademark) which is a wireless PAN (Personal Area Network) technology. The apparatus-side communication unit 11 includes a transmission unit 111 and a reception unit 112. The transmission unit 111 transmits the advertisement signal at a transmission interval (transmission mode) that is changed at least in accordance with the information terminal 2. The receiving unit 112 receives a communication signal including at least terminal information from the information terminal 2. That is, in the present embodiment, the receiving unit 112 of the apparatus-side communication unit 11 functions as the acquiring unit 15 that acquires the terminal information on the information terminal 2 from the information terminal 2. As described above, the apparatus-side communication unit 11 is configured to: has a function of transmitting and receiving signals, and performs bidirectional communication with the terminal-side communication unit 21 described later.
The apparatus-side control unit 12 is constituted by, for example, a microcomputer having a processor and a memory. That is, the apparatus-side control section 12 is realized by a computer system having a processor and a memory. The computer system functions as the apparatus-side control unit 12 (including a changing unit 121 and an authentication unit 122 described later) by executing an appropriate program by the processor. The program may be recorded in the device-side storage unit 14 in advance, may be provided through an electric communication line such as the internet, or may be provided by being recorded in a non-transitory recording medium such as a memory card.
The apparatus-side control unit 12 includes a changing unit 121 and an authentication unit 122.
The changing unit 121 is configured to change the transmission mode based on the terminal information acquired by the acquiring unit 15 (here, the receiving unit 112). More specifically, the changing unit 121 is configured to change the transmission interval of the advertisement signal based on the terminal information acquired by the acquiring unit 15. In the present embodiment, the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal when the interval information of the advertisement signal included in the terminal information from the information terminal 2 is different from the interval information of the advertisement signal stored in the device-side storage unit 14. Then, the transmission unit 111 of the device-side communication unit 11 transmits the advertisement signal at the transmission interval changed by the change unit 121. The transmission interval of the advertisement signal is, for example, 20ms, 30ms, or the like.
The authentication unit 122 is configured to authenticate (determine) whether or not the information terminal 2 is properly registered. The authentication unit 122 compares identification information (described later) of the information terminal 2 stored in the apparatus-side storage unit 14 with identification information included in a communication signal from the information terminal 2, and determines that the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal when the identification information matches the identification information, and determines that the information terminal 2 is an unregistered terminal when the identification information does not match the identification information. In the following description, a registered terminal is also referred to as a "registered terminal", and an unregistered terminal is also referred to as an "unregistered terminal".
The apparatus-side operation unit 13 is configured to receive an operation input by the user 6. The apparatus-side operation unit 13 includes, for example, a key switch for releasing operation provided on the outside (outside 42) of the building 4. The apparatus-side operation unit 13 may be provided on a door handle (knob) provided in the opening/closing member 5 (door), or may be a touch sensor or the like for detecting an operation of the user 6 contacting the door handle. When receiving an operation input by the user 6, the apparatus-side operation unit 13 outputs an operation signal corresponding to the operation input to the apparatus-side control unit 12.
The device-side storage unit 14 includes a nonvolatile Memory such as an EEPROM (Electrically Erasable and Programmable Read-Only Memory) that can be Electrically rewritten. The device-side storage unit 14 stores identification information of individuals assigned to the information terminal 2. The device-side storage unit 14 stores key information of 1 or more information terminals 2 that permit locking and unlocking of the electronic lock 3. The plurality of information terminals 2 are given different key information. Therefore, the device-side storage unit 14 stores the identification information of the information terminal 2 in association with the key information given to the information terminal 2. The device-side storage unit 14 also stores interval information (transmission interval information) of the advertisement signal. When the change unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal, the device-side storage unit 14 stores the interval information of the advertisement signal after the change.
(2.2) information terminal
As shown in fig. 1, the information terminal 2 includes a terminal-side communication unit 21, a terminal-side control unit 22, a terminal-side operation unit 23, a terminal-side storage unit 24, and a display unit 25.
The terminal-side communication unit 21 has an antenna and a communication circuit. The terminal-side communication unit 21 is configured to perform short-range wireless communication conforming to the BLE standard with the device-side communication unit 11 (the transmission unit 111 and the reception unit 112). The terminal-side communication unit 21 transmits a communication signal including at least terminal information to the communication device 1. In the present embodiment, the terminal information includes identification information of the information terminal 2 and interval information of the advertisement signal. The terminal-side communication unit 21 receives at least an advertisement signal from the communication device 1. That is, the terminal-side communication unit 21 is configured to: has a function of transmitting and receiving signals, and performs bidirectional communication with the apparatus-side communication unit 11.
The terminal-side control unit 22 is constituted by, for example, a microcomputer having a processor and a memory. That is, the terminal-side control section 22 is realized by a computer system having a processor and a memory. Then, the computer system functions as the terminal-side control unit 22 by executing an appropriate program by the processor. The program may be recorded in the terminal-side storage unit 24 in advance, may be provided through an electric communication line such as the internet, or may be provided by being recorded in a non-transitory recording medium such as a memory card.
The terminal-side operation unit 23 has a function of receiving an operation input by the user 6. The terminal-side operation unit 23 may be constituted by, for example, a push switch provided on the housing of the information terminal 2, or may be constituted by a lever or the like provided on the housing of the information terminal 2. In the present embodiment, the terminal-side operation unit 23 has a touch panel provided in a display device constituting the display unit 25 of the information terminal 2. The touch panel includes a touch sensor of a capacitance type, a pressure sensitive type, or the like. When the user 6 performs an operation (a click operation, a slide operation, or the like) of touching the display device of the display unit 25, the terminal-side operation unit 23 outputs a signal corresponding to the operation to the terminal-side control unit 22. The terminal-side operation unit 23 outputs an operation signal for locking or unlocking the electronic lock 3 to the terminal-side control unit 22, for example.
The terminal-side storage unit 24 includes a nonvolatile memory such as an EEPROM, for example, which is electrically rewritable. The terminal-side storage unit 24 stores identification information of individuals assigned to the information terminal 2, key information given from the communication device 1, and the like. In addition, the terminal-side storage unit 24 stores programs (such as an OS) executed by the computer of the information terminal 2. The program may be stored in the terminal-side storage unit 24 in advance, may be provided through an electric communication line such as the internet, or may be provided by being recorded in a non-transitory recording medium such as a memory card. As in the present embodiment, if the information terminal 2 is a smartphone, application software (hereinafter also referred to as "application") that the user 6 arbitrarily installs may be stored in the terminal-side storage unit 24. In the present embodiment, the terminal-side storage unit 24 stores an electronic lock application program for causing the information terminal 2 to function as a key device for locking or unlocking the electronic lock 3.
The display unit 25 is a thin display device such as a liquid crystal display or an organic EL (Electro Luminescence) display. The display content of the display unit 25 is controlled by the terminal-side control unit 22. The display unit 25 is not necessarily required for the information terminal 2, and can be omitted as appropriate.
In addition, the information terminal 2 is preferably a registration terminal. In other words, it is preferable that the information terminal 2 is a terminal that has been registered in the communication apparatus 1. With this configuration, (the changing unit 121 of) the communication device 1 only needs to support the registered information terminal 2, and the processing load of (the changing unit 121 of) the communication device 1 can be reduced.
(2.3) electronic Lock
The electronic lock 3 unlocks and locks the opening/closing member 5 (here, a door). The electronic lock 3 has a dead bolt, a drive section, and a drive circuit. The drive circuit generates a drive signal based on a control signal (an unlock signal or a lock signal) output from the device-side control unit 12, and outputs the drive signal to the drive unit. The driving section includes an electric motor and a transmission mechanism that transmits a driving force of the electric motor to the dead bolt. The drive unit drives the drive motor in accordance with a drive signal input from the drive circuit. The driving force of the drive motor is transmitted to the dead bolt via the transmission mechanism, whereby the dead bolt is moved to the locked position or the unlocked position.
Here, in a state where the dead bolt is moved to the locked position, at least a part of the dead bolt is inserted into a bolt hole provided in a door frame for supporting the opening/closing member 5, and in this state, the opening/closing member 5 is kept in a closed state. That is, the opening/closing member 5 is locked. In a state where the dead bolt is moved to the unlock position, the entire dead bolt is withdrawn out of the dead bolt hole, and in this state, the opening and closing member 5 can be opened or closed. That is, the opening/closing member 5 is unlocked.
(3) Movement of
(3.1) actions of the communication System
Hereinafter, the operation of the communication system 10 will be described with reference to fig. 3.
In the communication device 1, the transmission unit 111 of the device-side communication unit 11 transmits the advertisement signal at the transmission interval stored in the device-side storage unit 14 (step S1).
In the information terminal 2, when the terminal-side communication unit 21 receives the advertisement signal from the communication device 1, the terminal-side control unit 22 generates a connection request signal (communication signal) including identification information of the information terminal 2, and transmits the connection request signal from the terminal-side communication unit 21 to the communication device 1. In the communication device 1, when the receiving unit 112 of the device-side communication unit 11 receives the connection request signal, if the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal, the communication device 1 establishes a connection with the information terminal 2. Thereby, the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 start communication with each other.
When the connection between the communication apparatus 1 and the information terminal 2 is established, the terminal-side control unit 22 generates a communication signal including terminal information (interval information of the advertisement signal) concerning the information terminal 2, and transmits the communication signal from the terminal-side communication unit 21 to the communication apparatus 1 (step S2).
In the communication device 1, when the receiving unit 112 (i.e., the acquiring unit 15) of the device-side communication unit 11 receives the communication signal from the information terminal 2, it transfers the terminal information included in the communication signal to the changing unit 121 (step S3). The changing unit 121 executes a changing process of changing the transmission mode (transmission interval) of the advertisement signal based on the terminal information acquired by the acquiring unit 15 (step S4). The modification process of the modification unit 121 is described in detail in the section "(3.2) operation of the modification unit".
Here, when the transmission interval of the advertisement signal is changed during the change process, the changing unit 121 stores the interval information of the advertisement signal after the change in the device-side storage unit 14 (step S5). That is, the interval information of the advertisement signal stored in the apparatus-side storage section 14 is overwritten. The changing unit 121 also outputs the changed interval information of the advertisement signal to the transmitting unit 111 (step S6). When the advertisement signal is to be newly transmitted, the transmission unit 111 transmits the advertisement signal at the changed transmission interval (step S7).
The operations of steps S1 to S7 described above are executed each time the information terminal 2 enters the communication circle of the communication device 1.
(3.2) operation of the changing section
Next, a change process of the changing unit 121 of the communication device 1 will be described with reference to fig. 4.
In the communication device 1, the authentication unit 122 of the device-side control unit 12 determines (authenticates) whether or not the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal based on the identification information included in the connection request signal from the information terminal 2 (step S101). At this time, the authentication unit 122 determines whether the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal, based on whether or not the identification information included in the connection request signal matches the identification information stored in the device-side storage unit 14. When the information terminal 2 is not a registered terminal according to the authentication result of the authentication unit 122 (step S101: no), the connection between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is not established, and the communication between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is not started.
On the other hand, when the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal based on the authentication result of the authentication unit 122 (step S101: YES), the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 are connected to each other, and communication between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is started.
When communication between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is started, the receiving unit 112 of the device-side communication unit 11 receives a communication signal from the information terminal 2, that is, a communication signal including terminal information related to the information terminal 2. In other words, the acquisition unit 15 acquires the terminal information on the information terminal 2 from the information terminal 2 (step S102).
The changing unit 121 executes a changing process based on the terminal information included in the communication signal received by the receiving unit 112 of the apparatus-side communication unit 11. At this time, the changing unit 121 determines whether or not the advertisement signal interval information included in the terminal information matches the advertisement signal interval information stored in the device-side storage unit 14 (step S103). If the two are not matched (step S103: YES), the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal to the transmission interval of the advertisement signal included in the terminal information, and stores the information of the changed transmission interval in the device-side storage unit 14 (step S104). When both are matched (step S103: NO), the changing unit 121 does not change the transmission interval of the advertisement signal (step S105).
In the communication device 1 and the communication system 10 according to the present embodiment, the changing unit 121 performs the changing process only when the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal, and the processing load of the changing unit 121 can be reduced. In the communication device 1 and the communication system 10 according to the present embodiment, the advertisement signal can be transmitted to the information terminal 2 at an appropriate timing by changing the transmission interval of the advertisement signal based on the terminal information included in the communication signal from the information terminal 2. Thus, the communication device 1 can transmit the advertisement signal to the information terminal 2 at an appropriate timing without updating firmware (firmware).

(4.1) modification 1
In the above-described embodiment, the changing unit 121 executes the changing process based on the interval information of the advertisement signal included in the terminal information from the information terminal 2. In contrast, the changing unit 121 may be configured to execute the changing process based on version information of an OS installed in the information terminal 2, for example. Hereinafter, the communication device 1 and the communication system 10 according to the modification 1 will be described with reference to fig. 5. Note that the configurations of the communication device 1 and the communication system 10 are the same as those of the above-described embodiment, and the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted.
The communication system 10 according to modification 1 includes a communication device 1 and an information terminal 2. The communication device 1 includes a device-side communication unit 11, a device-side control unit 12, a device-side operation unit 13, and a device-side storage unit 14. The apparatus-side communication unit 11 includes a transmission unit 111 and a reception unit 112 (acquisition unit 15). The apparatus-side control unit 12 includes a changing unit 121 and an authentication unit 122. The information terminal 2 includes a terminal-side communication unit 21, a terminal-side control unit 22, a terminal-side operation unit 23, and a terminal-side storage unit 24.
The terminal information from the information terminal 2 includes version information of the OS installed in the information terminal 2 and interval information of the advertisement signal corresponding to the version information. In other words, the terminal information includes version information of the program used in the information terminal 2. In modification 1, the OS installed in the information terminal 2 is the above-described program.
The apparatus-side storage unit 14 also stores version information of the OS installed in the information terminal 2. In modification 1, the device-side storage unit 14 stores the latest version information of the OS.
The changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal based on version information of the OS included in the terminal information in the changing process. In other words, when the version information of the OS included in the terminal information is predetermined version information, the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval (transmission mode) of the advertisement signal. In modification 1, the predetermined version information is the latest version information. That is, in modification 1, when the version information of the OS included in the terminal information is the latest version information, the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal.
When the transmission interval (transmission mode) of the advertisement signal is changed by the changing unit 121, the transmitting unit 111 transmits the advertisement signal at the changed transmission interval.
Next, a change process of the changing unit 121 of the communication device 1 will be described with reference to fig. 5.
In the communication device 1, the authentication unit 122 of the device-side control unit 12 determines (authenticates) whether or not the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal based on the identification information included in the connection request signal from the information terminal 2 (step S201). At this time, the authentication unit 122 determines whether the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal, based on whether or not the identification information included in the connection request signal matches the identification information stored in the device-side storage unit 14. When the information terminal 2 is not a registered terminal according to the authentication result of the authentication unit 122 (no in step S201), the connection between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is not established, and the communication between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is not started.
On the other hand, when the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal based on the authentication result of the authentication unit 122 (step S201: YES), the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 are connected to each other, and communication between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is started.
When communication between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is started, the receiving unit 112 of the device-side communication unit 11 receives a communication signal from the information terminal 2, that is, a communication signal including terminal information about the information terminal 2, identification information of the information terminal 2, and a connection request. In other words, the acquisition unit 15 acquires the terminal information on the information terminal 2 from the information terminal 2 (step S202).
The changing unit 121 executes a changing process based on the terminal information included in the communication signal received by the receiving unit 112 of the apparatus-side communication unit 11. At this time, the changing unit 121 determines whether or not the version information of the OS included in the terminal information is the latest version information (step S203). When the version information included in the terminal information is the latest version information (yes in step S203), the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal to the transmission interval of the advertisement signal included in the terminal information (step S204). When the version information included in the terminal information is not the latest version information (no in step S203), the changing unit 121 does not change the transmission interval of the advertisement signal (step S205).
Here, a case is assumed in which the version information is digital information. In this case, the larger the number, the newer the version. The changing unit 121 compares the version information included in the terminal information with the version information stored in the device-side storage unit 14. The changing unit 121 determines that the version information included in the terminal information is the latest version information if the version information included in the terminal information is larger than the version information stored in the device-side storage unit 14. Further, if the version information stored in the apparatus-side storage unit 14 is larger than the version information included in the terminal information, the changing unit 121 determines that the version information stored in the apparatus-side storage unit 14 is the latest version information. Further, the version information is not limited to digital information, and may be character information or the like as long as the version of the OS can be determined.
According to modification 1, the transmission interval of the advertisement signal can be changed according to version information of the OS (program) installed in the information terminal 2. In particular, as in modification 1, when the predetermined version information is the latest version information, the transmission interval of the advertisement signal can be made to correspond to the latest version of the OS installed in the information terminal 2.
In modification 1, the predetermined version information is the latest version information, but the predetermined version information is not limited to the latest version information and may be version information that is newer than the version information stored in the device-side storage unit 14.
In modification 1, the terminal information includes the interval information of the advertisement signal corresponding to the version information, but the communication device 1 may acquire the interval information from a device other than the information terminal 2 by communicating with the device, for example.
(4.2) modification 2
In the above-described modification 1, when the version information of the OS included in the terminal information is the latest (predetermined) version information, the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal. In contrast, the changing unit 121 may be configured to: when the version information included in the terminal information is the largest, the transmission interval of the advertisement signal is changed. Hereinafter, the communication device 1 and the communication system 10 according to modification 2 will be described with reference to fig. 6. Note that the configurations of the communication device 1 and the communication system 10 are the same as those of the above-described embodiment, and the same components are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted.
The communication system 10 according to modification 2 includes a communication device 1 and an information terminal 2. The communication device 1 can be connected to a plurality of information terminals 2.
The terminal information from the information terminal 2 includes version information of an OS installed in the information terminal 2 and interval information (information of a transmission interval) of an advertisement signal corresponding to the version information of the OS.
In modification 2, the device-side storage unit 14 stores identification information of the information terminal 2 in association with the interval information of the advertisement signal.
When the version information of the OS included in the terminal information from the information terminal 2 is the largest, the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal. In other words, the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal when the version information included in the terminal information is the largest among the plurality of version information pieces that correspond one-to-one to the plurality of connectable information terminals 2.
Next, a change process of the changing unit 121 of the communication device 1 will be described with reference to fig. 6.
In the communication device 1, the authentication unit 122 of the device-side control unit 12 determines (authenticates) whether or not the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal based on the identification information included in the connection request signal from the information terminal 2 (step S301). At this time, the authentication unit 122 determines whether the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal, based on whether or not the identification information included in the connection request signal matches the identification information stored in the device-side storage unit 14. When the information terminal 2 is not a registered terminal according to the authentication result of the authentication unit 122 (step S301: no), the connection between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is not established, and the communication between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is not started.
On the other hand, when the information terminal 2 is a registered terminal based on the authentication result of the authentication unit 122 (step S301: YES), the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 are connected to each other, and communication between the communication device 1 and the information terminal 2 is started.
In other words, the acquisition unit 15 acquires the terminal information on the information terminal 2 from the information terminal 2 (step S302).
The changing unit 121 executes a changing process based on the terminal information included in the communication signal received by the receiving unit 112 of the apparatus-side communication unit 11. At this time, the changing unit 121 determines whether or not the version information included in the terminal information is the most version information (step S303). When the version information included in the terminal information is the largest (yes in step S303), the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal to the transmission interval of the advertisement signal included in the terminal information (step S304). When the version information other than the version information included in the terminal information is the largest (no in step S303), the changing unit 121 does not change the transmission interval of the advertisement signal (step S305).
Here, for example, the following case is assumed: the version information of the OS installed in the 3 information terminals 2 is the first version information, and the version information of the OS installed in the 2 information terminals 2 is the second version information. In this case, if the version information included in the terminal information is the first version information, the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal to the transmission interval of the advertisement signal included in the terminal information. Further, if the version information included in the terminal information is the second version information, the changing unit 121 does not change the transmission interval of the advertisement signal.
According to modification 2, the transmission interval of the advertisement signal can be changed according to version information of the OS (program) installed in the information terminal 2. In particular, as in modification 2, by changing the transmission interval of the advertisement signal corresponding to the most version information, it is possible to transmit the advertisement signal to the plurality of information terminals 2 at an appropriate timing.
(4.3) modification 3
The transmission unit 111 of the communication device 1 may be configured to transmit the advertisement signal by combining a plurality of transmission intervals different from each other.
Here, the following case is assumed: the transmission unit 111 transmits the advertisement signal in combination with the first transmission interval (for example, 20ms) and the second transmission interval (for example, 30 ms). In this case, the transmission unit 111 may alternately combine the first transmission interval and the second transmission interval to transmit the advertisement signal. The transmission unit 111 may alternately combine 2 or more consecutive first transmission intervals and 2 or more consecutive second transmission intervals to transmit the advertisement signal.
According to modification 3, it is possible to transmit advertisement signals to a plurality of information terminals 2 at appropriate timings.
(4.4) modification 4
The changing unit 121 may change the transmission interval of the advertisement signal according to a predetermined condition. The "predetermined condition" referred to in the present disclosure is a condition for changing the transmission interval of the advertisement signal, and is, for example, the remaining battery level of the information terminal 2.
Here, in a state where the remaining battery level of the information terminal 2 is small, it is preferable that the information terminal 2 extends the interval between transmission and reception of signals in order to suppress battery consumption. Therefore, in this case, the changing unit 121 is preferably configured to: the transmission interval of the advertisement signal is made longer than in the case where the remaining battery level of the information terminal 2 is large.
The terminal information from the information terminal 2 also includes battery information relating to the remaining battery level of the information terminal 2.
The changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal based on the battery information included in the terminal information from the information terminal 2. Specifically, if the remaining battery level of the information terminal 2 is equal to or greater than the reference value based on the battery information, the changing unit 121 sets the transmission interval of the advertisement signal to the first transmission interval. Further, if the remaining battery level of the information terminal 2 is less than the reference value based on the battery information, the changing unit 121 changes the transmission interval of the advertisement signal to a second transmission interval that is longer than the first transmission interval.
According to modification 4, the transmission interval of the advertisement signal can be changed in accordance with a predetermined condition (the remaining battery level of the information terminal 2, etc.).
(4.5) modification 5
The transmission unit 111 of the communication device 1 may be configured to transmit the advertisement signal at a transmission interval selected from a plurality of transmission intervals in accordance with the information terminal 2.
The terminal information from the information terminal 2 includes version information of the OS installed in the information terminal 2.
The apparatus-side storage unit 14 stores the plurality of version information in association with a plurality of advertisement signal interval information in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of version information.
The changing unit 121 selects corresponding interval information from the plurality of interval information stored in the device-side storage unit 14 based on the version information included in the terminal information. Then, the transmission unit 111 transmits the advertisement signal at the transmission interval selected by the change unit 121.
According to modification 5, the following advantages are provided: the changing unit 121 may simply select the interval information corresponding to the information terminal 2 from the plurality of interval information stored in the device-side storage unit 14.
(4.6) modification 6
The changing unit 121 may be configured to: when the communication device 1 or the information terminal 2 receives an input from the user 6, the transmission interval (transmission mode) of the advertisement signal is changed. Hereinafter, a case will be described in which the terminal-side operation unit 23 of the information terminal 2 receives an operation input by the user 6, but the same applies to a case in which the device-side operation unit 13 of the communication device 1 receives an operation input by the user 6.
When receiving a predetermined operation input by the user 6, the terminal-side operation unit 23 of the information terminal 2 outputs an operation signal corresponding to the operation input to the terminal-side control unit 22. The terminal-side control unit 22 generates a communication signal including a change command for executing the change process of the change unit 121 in accordance with an operation signal from the terminal operation unit 23, and causes the terminal-side communication unit 21 to transmit the communication signal. The communication signal also includes terminal information and the like related to the information terminal 2.
When receiving a communication signal from the information terminal 2, the device-side communication unit 11 of the communication device 1 outputs terminal information and a change command included in the communication signal to the change unit 121. The changing unit 121 executes a change process in accordance with the change instruction.
According to modification 6, the transmission mode (transmission interval) of the advertisement signal can be changed according to the intention of the user 6.
(4.7) modification 7
The changing unit 121 may be configured to execute the changing process based on model information of the information terminal 2. The "model information" here is information indicating the type of the information terminal 2, and includes, for example, the model number of the information terminal 2.
The device-side storage unit 14 stores model information of the information terminal 2 in association with whether or not the change process by the change unit 121 is necessary.
The terminal-side communication unit 21 of the information terminal 2 transmits a communication signal including terminal information about the information terminal 2 and model information of the information terminal 2. The terminal information includes interval information (information of transmission intervals) of the advertisement signal.
Next, a change process of the changing unit 121 of the communication device 1 will be described.
When receiving the communication signal from the information terminal 2, the receiving unit 112 of the apparatus-side communication unit 11 outputs the model information included in the communication signal to the changing unit 121. The changing unit 121 determines whether or not a change process is necessary based on the model information. At this time, the changing unit 121 determines whether or not the change processing is necessary based on the correspondence between the model information stored in the device-side storage unit 14 and the necessity of the change processing. The changing unit 121 executes the changing process based on the terminal information from the information terminal 2 when the changing process is necessary, and the changing unit 121 does not execute the changing process when the changing process is not necessary.
According to modification 7, the transmission interval of the advertisement signal can be changed according to the model information of the information terminal 2.
The information included in the communication signal from the information terminal 2 is not limited to the model information of the information terminal 2, and may be, for example, a necessity flag indicating whether or not the change process by the change unit 121 is necessary. In this case, the information terminal 2 may not be stored in the apparatus-side storage unit 14 in accordance with whether or not the change process by the change unit 121 is necessary, and the capacity of the apparatus-side storage unit 14 may be reduced.
(4.8) other modifications
Other modifications are listed below.
In the above-described embodiment, the information terminal 2 is a smartphone, but the information terminal 2 is not limited to a smartphone and may be a general-purpose portable information terminal such as a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant).
In the above-described embodiment, the version information of the program included in the terminal information is the version information of the OS installed in the information terminal 2, but may be, for example, the version information of an application (including an electronic lock application) installed in the information terminal 2.
In the above-described embodiment, the comparison target of the interval information included in the terminal information is the interval information stored in the apparatus-side storage unit 14, but the comparison target may be acquired in real time from a server or the like via a network such as the internet, for example.
In the above-described embodiment, the transmission interval of the advertisement signal is set in the information terminal 2, but the transmission interval of the advertisement signal may be set in the communication device 1. In this case, there are the following advantages: the information terminal 2 may transmit information for setting the transmission interval of the advertisement signal to the communication device 1.
In the above-described modification 1, the version information of the information terminal 2 is included in the communication signal from the information terminal 2, but the version information may be included in the advertisement signal from the communication device 1. In this case, the information terminal 2 may set interval information (transmission interval information) of the advertisement signal corresponding to the version information and transmit the set interval information to the communication device 1.
