Abstract
The invention discloses a valve maintenance method, wherein the valve is provided with a gear box, and the method comprises the following steps: s1: performing a switch test on the valve; s2: carrying out pollution discharge operation on the valve; s3: performing grease injection operation on the valve; s4: checking whether accumulated water exists in the gear box or not and cleaning the accumulated water in the gear box; s5: checking the valve and the gear box for loose parts and fastening the loose parts; s6: performing a leak check on the valve. The valve maintenance device can standardize the maintenance operation of the valve, improve the quality of valve maintenance, improve the maintenance effect, further prolong the service life of the valve and reduce the failure rate.

Background
At present, a ball valve is needed to control the flow and the cut-off of gas in a gas conveying pipeline, and the ball valve needs to be maintained periodically after being used for a long time. However, at present, the maintenance operation of the ball valve by an operator is not standard, the sequence of the maintenance operation is unreasonable, and even part of the maintenance content is omitted, so that the valve is poor in maintenance quality, the service life of the valve is influenced, and the valve is prone to failure.

injecting lubricating grease into the valve by using a grease injection gun, and performing switching operation on the valve for 1-2 times to uniformly coat the lubricating grease on the sealing ring; more specifically, the grease should be injected slowly using a manual grease gun, and the injection pressure should not exceed 4000psi of the line pressure. In the embodiment, firstly, cleaning fluid is injected to clean the grease injection passage and the sealing area, the valve is pulled by an angle of 5 degrees after the cleaning fluid is kept for 2 hours, the cleaning fluid is injected again, then the valve is pulled back to the original position, the valve is switched on and off for 2 times after the cleaning fluid is kept for 2 hours, and then the pollution discharge nozzle is opened to discharge the cleaning fluid; and then, injecting lubricating grease into the valve by using a grease injection gun, and performing opening and closing operation on the valve for 2 times to uniformly coat the lubricating grease on the sealing ring.
Specifically, in step S6, when the valve internal leakage is detected, the following steps are performed:
adjusting the limit of the valve and changing the opening and closing position of the valve;
if the internal leakage still exists, reinforced sealing grease is injected into the valve;
if the valve still has internal leakage, the valve seat or the valve core is seriously damaged, and the valve needs to be replaced or the manufacturer needs to carry out field maintenance; wherein, the check and the treatment of the internal leakage of the valve are carried out under the state that the valve is completely closed.
More specifically, in step S6, when the leakage at the valve stem is detected, the following steps are performed:
injecting sealing grease into the valve rod and the valve seat through the valve rod grease injection structure, and stopping injecting if leakage is stopped;
if leakage still exists, replacing the valve rod packing, and then tightening a compression bolt at the top of the valve rod until the leakage is stopped; it should be noted that the grease injection pressure cannot exceed 3000psi when injecting the sealing grease into the valve rod, otherwise the upper and lower O-rings in the sealing cavity of the valve rod may be damaged by extrusion, resulting in complete failure of the seal; the grease injection structure of the valve rod is well known in the prior art, and is not described in detail in this embodiment.
More specifically, in step S6, when it is detected that there is an external leak at the flange joint of the valve, the following steps are performed:
emptying gas in front and rear pipelines of the valve, and fastening a connecting bolt;

The maintenance operation of the valve is standardized through the operation, so that the quality of valve maintenance is improved, the maintenance effect is improved, the service life of the valve is prolonged, and the failure rate is reduced; in addition, the maintenance step can improve the maintenance efficiency and save time.
