Background

The invention provides a Bluetooth communication system and method and a Bluetooth communication conversion device, which can enable a traditional device only supporting classic Bluetooth to be connected with a device supporting Bluetooth low energy BLE audio.

The term "connected" in the specification includes both direct connection and indirect connection. The first device 1 comprises a first bluetooth communication module BT 11; each second device 2 comprises a first bluetooth low energy communication module BLE 21; the conversion device 3 includes a second bluetooth communication module 31 and a second bluetooth low energy communication module 32. The conversion device 3 is connected with the first equipment 1 through a second Bluetooth communication module 31, and the conversion device 3 is connected with each second equipment 2 through a second low-power Bluetooth communication module 32; the conversion device 3 is configured to receive data sent by the first device 1, and forward the received data to the set second device 2.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a configuration of a conversion device in a bluetooth communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating a principle of the bluetooth communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention; referring to fig. 2 and fig. 3, in an embodiment of the present invention, the forwarding device further includes a control module 33 and a storage module 34; the control module 33 is connected to the storage module 34, the second bluetooth communication module 31 and the second bluetooth low energy communication module 32, respectively. The control module 33 is connected with the first device 1 through a second bluetooth communication module 31, and the control module 33 is connected with the corresponding second device 2 through a second bluetooth low energy communication module 32; the control module 33 is configured to receive the setting data sent by the first device 1, and store the received data in the storage module 34; the control module 33 is configured to send the setting data in the storage module to the set second device 2.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the first device 1 includes at least one of a mobile phone, a tablet, and a smart tv, but is not limited thereto, and all devices supporting classic bluetooth are suitable; the second device 2 includes at least one of a headset and a speaker, and is not limited thereto, and all devices supporting bluetooth low energy BLE audio are suitable.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a bluetooth communication conversion apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention; referring to fig. 2, in an embodiment of the present invention, the conversion apparatus includes a control module 33, a storage module 34, a second bluetooth communication module 31 and a second bluetooth low energy communication module 32; the control module 33 is connected to the storage module 34, the second bluetooth communication module 31 and the second bluetooth low energy communication module 32, respectively. The control module 33 is connected to a first device having a bluetooth communication module through a second bluetooth communication module 31, and the control module 33 is connected to second devices each having a bluetooth low energy communication module through a second bluetooth low energy communication module 32. The control module is used for receiving the setting data sent by the first equipment and storing the received data in the storage module; the control module 33 is configured to send the setting data in the storage module 34 to a set second device.
Referring to fig. 4, in an embodiment of the present invention, the classic bluetooth device is a mobile phone, and the device supporting bluetooth low energy BLE audio is an earphone. The multifunctional gateway is used as a multimode wireless system which simultaneously supports classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy BLE audio. A2DP connection is established between the mobile phone and the multifunctional gateway, the mobile phone is used as a sound source, and the audio information is sent to the multifunctional gateway. The multi-function gateway converts the A2DP audio to BLE audio and forwards to the multiple sets of headphones.
Referring to fig. 5, in an embodiment of the present invention, the classic bluetooth device is a smart television, the device supporting bluetooth low energy BLE audio is a sound box, and the sound box only supports bluetooth low energy BLE audio; the multifunctional gateway is used as a multimode wireless system which simultaneously supports classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth low energy BLE audio. An A2DP connection is established between the intelligent television and the multifunctional gateway, the intelligent television is used as a sound source, and the audio information is sent to the multifunctional gateway. The multifunction gateway converts the A2DP audio to BLE audio and forwards to the headset.
The invention simultaneously supports the classic Bluetooth and the Bluetooth low-power consumption multi-mode wireless system, which comprises a double-antenna design, wherein one antenna is used for classic Bluetooth communication, and the other antenna is used for Bluetooth low-power consumption communication. The main reason for using the dual antenna design is that both classic bluetooth A2DP and bluetooth low energy BLE audio are large data volume applications and the antenna usage is high. If a single antenna design is used, the phenomenon that the classic bluetooth A2DP and the bluetooth low energy BLE audio collide when the antenna is used, so that the audio is jammed and the like occurs. Meanwhile, the design of the double antennas can fully utilize the frequency hopping characteristics of classic Bluetooth and Bluetooth low power consumption, and under the condition that the isolation degree of the antennas is not good, the two antennas can still work simultaneously.
The invention also discloses a Bluetooth communication method, which comprises the following steps: the conversion device is connected with the first equipment through the Bluetooth communication module and receives data sent by the first equipment; the conversion device is connected with the corresponding second equipment through the low-power-consumption Bluetooth communication module and forwards the received data to the set second equipment.
In summary, the bluetooth communication system, the bluetooth communication method and the bluetooth communication conversion apparatus according to the present invention enable a legacy device supporting only classic bluetooth to be connected to a device supporting bluetooth low energy BLE audio, so as to fully utilize many new features of bluetooth low energy BLE audio, for example, one audio source is connected to multiple receiving devices.
The technical features of the embodiments described above may be arbitrarily combined, and for the sake of brevity, all possible combinations of the technical features in the embodiments described above are not described, but should be considered as being within the scope of the present specification as long as there is no contradiction between the combinations of the technical features.
