before distributing display areas for the character video data and the desktop video data from the clients according to the preset mode, judging whether the number of the listening and speaking ends exceeds the preset display upper limit of the auxiliary display area; if the number of the characters exceeds the preset number, distributing display areas for the character video data and the desktop video data from the clients according to a preset mode, wherein the display areas comprise:
distributing the character video data and the desktop video data of the main speaking end to a main display area; and grouping the listening and speaking ends according to the preset display upper limit, and alternately distributing the listening and speaking ends to the auxiliary display area according to the grouping at intervals of preset polling time.
