Description

Device for steaming textiles
Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for steaming textiles. Steaming is understood to mean the refreshing and/or smoothing of the textile by steam. I.e. the textile is treated with steam, in particular water vapour. In this way, odors and/or wrinkles and/or creases in the textile may be removed to freshen and/or smooth the textile.
Background
From CN104294569A, a device for steaming textiles is known, which has a housing with a housing opening, on which a telescopic rod is arranged, which has a clothes hanger that can be opened and closed in a folding manner. The housing is disposed on a substrate, and a water tank having a water inlet is also disposed on the substrate. However, in order to fill the water tank, the user must bend over, which is inconvenient. The water pump and the steam generating device are arranged inside the housing, and the hand-held steam appliance comprising the steam hose may be attached through a steam interface on the housing. Functional components such as hand-held steaming devices, including steam hoses, must be removed and stored, or placed at will, and must therefore be awkwardly cleaned or attached. Are not available quickly.
Furthermore, CN104060451A describes a device for steaming textiles, having a housing with a housing opening from which a holding element with a clothes hanger protrudes. The water tank is integrated into the housing and connected to one end of the hand-held steaming device by a steam hose, the other end of the hand-held steaming device being detachably fixed to the housing or to the holding element. The device is relatively unstable due to the rod-like holding element protruding from the housing. Furthermore, the transport device is complex and awkward. Functional components such as hand-held steaming devices, holding elements and clothes hangers can also collect dust.
Disclosure of Invention
The problem underlying the present invention is therefore to provide a device for steaming textiles, the functional components of which are quickly available without causing trouble to the user and which are not placed far from the device when not in use.
According to the invention, this problem is solved by a device having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and developments of the invention can be gathered from the dependent claims below.
In addition to the rapid storage of the functional component when not in use, the advantage that can be achieved with the invention is that the functional component can be made available quickly, since it does not have to be cleaned awkwardly, but can be stored in the device without having to be dismantled. Thus, the functional components collect relatively little dust, thereby extending the useful life of the device. Furthermore, when not in use, the device behaves like an object in the living room and therefore does not disturb the user. Due to this structure, it is possible to ensure that the user maintains an upright posture during use.
The present invention relates to a device for steaming textiles, comprising:
a housing having a plurality of housing openings,
a retaining element which can be extended vertically from the housing, which is accommodated in the housing when retracted, which protrudes from the housing at least partially through a housing opening when extended,
-a hanger, which can be folded open and folded closed, and which is arranged on the holding element,
a water tank arranged on, against and/or in the housing with respect to a normal assembly position of the device,
a hand-held steaming device detachably secured in another of the housing openings, against the housing and/or in the body, such that the hand-held steaming device forms a cylinder with the housing, and
-a steam hose connecting the water tank to the hand-held steaming device.
The device is designed as a cylindrical body designed to make the functional components disappear when not in use, so that the device behaves like an object in the living room and does not disturb the user. At first glance, it may not be considered a technical device. The device does not need to be stored and can be used quickly when necessary. Its structure makes it a stable device and its appearance is very neat when not in use due to the integration of functional components. The device is ergonomically designed.
The hand-held steaming device is removably secured in another housing opening, against the housing and/or in the housing when not in use, and is removed from the housing opening when in use. For example, an operating element, such as a button, is arranged on the hand-held steaming device and, when actuated, the hand-held steaming device can be detached from the housing. Optionally, the device may have a control panel. The device user may issue a command using the control panel to detach the hand-held steaming device from the housing. Optionally, the handheld steaming device may have a handle and/or recess through which the handheld steaming device may be pulled out of the housing.
In a first variant, a steam hose connecting the water tank and the hand-held steaming device is accommodated in the housing. This means that it is safely stored in the housing. Alternatively, the steam hose may also be arranged outside the housing. This makes it easier to replace if necessary. Within the meaning of the present invention, the term "steam hose" is to be understood as a steam-tight or substantially steam-tight hose. A steam hose is a hose suitable for transporting steam from a water tank or steam generating device to a hand-held steaming device.
The holding element is designed to be adjustable in height. The garment hanger is located on the retention element and is foldable open and foldable closed. Thus, when not in use, these elements may be collapsed or folded and retracted into the housing. It may be extended or folded again if desired. These elements can be used quickly when needed without disturbing the user during non-use or transport.
In a preferred embodiment, the holding element is designed to be manually or automatically extendable from the housing and/or to be manually or automatically retractable into the housing.
In a preferred variant, the retaining element is designed to be manually extendable from the housing and manually retractable into the housing. For example, the holding element can be designed such that it can be pulled out of the housing and pressed or pushed into the housing; for example, the holding element may have a handle at its upper end, relative to the normal assembly position of the device. The device user can manually move the holding element into and out of the apparatus using the handle. This variant is more energy efficient than the following variant.
In a different preferred variant, the retaining element is designed to be automatically extendable from the housing and automatically retractable into the housing. In this variant, a motor is arranged in the housing, which motor can drive the holding element. The device then has, for example, a control panel or buttons/keys by means of which the motor can be activated and, if desired, deactivated. This is more convenient than the above-described variant, since the user of the device does not have to use physical forces to move the holding element.
In a further preferred variant, the two variants described above can be combined in order for the device user to decide by which variant they want to move the holding element. This is particularly advantageous if several people use the device.
The holding element is preferably designed as a rod which can be extended from the housing and retracted into the housing. The rod is preferably cylindrical, more preferably cylindrical. The rod may be a telescopic rod. However, the rod is preferably designed in one piece, i.e. as a single rod.
When folded closed, the hanger preferably surrounds a portion of the retention element in a cylindrical shape. As a result, the clothes hanger can be stored in a space-saving manner and can be easily retracted into the housing together with the holding member. In a first variant, the hanger can be folded open and folded closed automatically. For example, the device may be designed such that the hanger folds open and folds closed automatically when the holding element is extended to or retracted from a predetermined height. Alternatively, in another variation, the hanger is designed to be manually opened and closed. The garment hanger is preferably designed as a garment hanger for a coat, such as a dress, shirt, jacket or the like.
In a preferred embodiment, the garment hanger has a clip designed to be attached to a garment. As a result, the device is not only suitable for holding a jacket, but also for clothing for steaming, such as trousers, skirts or even bed sheets.
The water chamber is preferably arranged on the column in a form-fitting manner with respect to the normal assembly position of the device. This is advantageous because the user of the device does not have to bend down to fill the water tank. The water tank preferably has a handle and/or a recess. The water tank can be easily removed from the housing by the device user through the handle and/or recess. Alternatively or additionally, the water tank may also have a removable lid and/or a coverable opening. By means of a removable lid and/or a coverable opening, the device user can easily fill the water tank without having to remove it from the housing. The water tank is preferably cylindrical. In this embodiment, the water reservoir preferably has the same or substantially the same diameter as the column, and the water reservoir preferably has an opening through which the retaining element is guided independently of the water in the water reservoir.
In another preferred embodiment, the water tank is detachably arranged on the housing in another housing opening, such that the water tank, the hand-held steaming device and the housing form a cylinder. Here, too, the water tank is preferably arranged such that the user does not have to bend down in order to fill the water tank. The water tank preferably has a handle and/or a recess. By means of the handle and/or the recess, the user of the device can easily pull the water tank partly or completely out of the housing, fill it, and push it back into the housing after filling it.
The device preferably also has one or more wheels which are arranged and designed such that the cylinder can be rolled by means of the wheels. This enables the device to be easily transported when required, for example when the device is to be stowed away. The one or more wheels are preferably arranged and designed such that the device can be moved and can be stationary. For example, the device has one wheel or two wheels connected by a shaft, the wheels being arranged such that when the housing is tilted, the device can move, and when the housing is not tilted, the housing is stationary.
In a preferred embodiment, the device further has a base plate on which the cylindrical body is arranged, relative to the normal assembly position of the device. This may further increase the stability of the device. The substrate is preferably circular.
The cylinder is preferably cylindrical. The cylinder is preferably designed as a cylinder.
The device preferably has a cable drum arranged in the housing. The cable reel is preferably designed to automatically roll the power cable of the device inwards, for example when a user issues a command to the apparatus via a control panel, buttons/keys or the like to wind the power cable of the device. Thus, the integrated cable reel can quickly clean the power cord when needed to safely store the cable in the housing.
The steam generator accommodated inside the housing is preferably arranged between the water tank and the steam hose. Further, the water pump is preferably arranged between the water tank and the steam generator inside the housing.

figures 3a-3d each show a plan view of the device of figures 2a, 2b when retracted, partially extended and fully extended.
Detailed Description
Fig. 1a, 1b show a perspective view of a device according to the invention in retracted and extended positions, respectively. Figure 1a shows a perspective view of the device when retracted. The device comprises a housing 1 having a plurality of housing openings (not shown) and a retaining element 2 which can extend vertically from the housing 2 and which, when retracted, is accommodated in the housing 1. The holding element 2 is arranged in a housing opening. Furthermore, the device has a water tank 5, which water tank 5 is arranged on the housing 1 with respect to the normal assembly position of the device. Furthermore, the apparatus has a handheld steaming device 7, which handheld steaming device 7 is detachably fixed in another housing opening, against the housing 1 and in the housing 1, so that the handheld steaming device forms a cylinder together with the housing 1. The hand-held steaming device is connected to a water tank 5 by a steam hose 4.
The water tank 5 is arranged in particular on the column with a form fit in relation to the normal assembly position of the device. The water tank 5 is also cylindrical, so that the water tank forms a cylinder together with the housing 1 and the hand-held steaming device 7. The cylinder is cylindrical. The water tank 5 has an opening in which the retaining element 2 is arranged such that it can be retracted and extended independently of any water in the water tank 5. The water tank 5 is detachably arranged on the housing 1, so that the water tank 5 can be removed from the housing 1 in order to fill the water tank with water. The water tank 5 may optionally have a recess 51, the recess 51 being designed such that a device user can easily grasp the water tank 5 with their hand to detach the water tank 5 from the housing 1. The device also has a base plate 8, on which base plate 8 the columns are arranged with respect to the normal assembly position of the device. Two wheels 6 are arranged on the axis a and are arranged and designed such that the column can roll by means of the wheels when the column is tilted. When the column is not tilted, the column is stationary.
Figure 1b shows a perspective view of the device when extended. When extended, the retaining element 2 protrudes from the housing 1 through a housing opening (not shown) and an opening (not shown) of the water tank 5. A clothes hanger 3 which can be folded open and folded closed is provided on the holding member 2. The hanger 3 is shown folded open. The hanger 3 has a clamp 31, the clamp 31 being designed for attaching a garment.
Figures 2a, 2b show perspective views of another device according to the invention when retracted and extended, respectively. Figure 2a shows a perspective view of the device when retracted and figure 2b shows a perspective view of the device when extended. The device shown in fig. 2a, 2b corresponds to the device shown in fig. 1a, 1b, with the difference that the water tank 5 is not arranged on the housing 1, but is detachably arranged against the housing 1 in another housing opening (not shown), so that the water tank 5, the hand-held steaming device 7 and the housing 1 form a cylinder, and the water tank 5 does not necessarily have to be cylindrical.
Figures 3a-3d each show a plan view of the device of figures 2a, 2b when retracted, partially extended and fully extended. Fig. 3a shows a front view of the device when retracted, in which state the holding element 2 is completely accommodated in the housing 1 and is therefore not visible in this view. Fig. 3b shows a front view of the device in a partly extended state, in which the holding element 2 partly protrudes from the housing 1 and the hanger 3 is folded closed so that the hanger surrounds a part of the holding element 2 in a cylindrical manner. Fig. 3c shows a front view of the device in a further partially extended state, in which the holding element 2 is fully protruding from the housing 1 and the hanger 3 is folded closed. Figure 3d shows a front view of the device when fully extended, in which state the holding element 2 is fully protruding from the housing 1 and the hanger 3 is folded open, so that the hanger assumes the conventional hanger shape.
