Background
During operation of the motor, the stator and the rotor inside the motor generate a large amount of heat, which needs to be dissipated to the outside of the motor, so that air inlets and air outlets for heat dissipation need to be arranged on certain structures of the motor.

In a first aspect, a guard for an electric machine according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes a motor end cover disposed at an end of the electric machine, the motor end cover having a rotation shaft passing hole for passing a rotation shaft of the electric machine and a plurality of ventilation openings formed around the rotation shaft passing hole, wherein the guard may include: the dustproof assembly is arranged in a ventilation opening of the motor end cover so as to prevent dust of the motor; and/or a waterproof assembly connected with the motor end cover to waterproof the motor.
In an exemplary embodiment, the dust prevention assembly may include: the inner bushing is connected with the ventilation opening of the motor end cover and is provided with a concave part which is concave towards the inside of the motor, and a plurality of ventilation holes are formed in the concave part; and dust-proof cotton which is arranged in the concave part of the inner bushing and covers the ventilation hole of the concave part so as to prevent dust of the motor.
In an exemplary embodiment, the waterproof assembly may include: a frame having a polygonal shape; an inner plate connected to a first end of the frame, the inner plate being formed with an inner plate center hole formed at a center portion thereof and a plurality of air flow holes for allowing air to enter a vent of a motor end cover; an outer panel connected to a second end of the frame, the outer panel being formed with an outer panel center hole formed at a center portion thereof and a plurality of waterproof vent holes that protrude outward and open downward for passing air and being waterproof; a peripheral plate connected to an outer circumferential surface of the frame to close an outer circumferential surface of the waterproof assembly; and an inner surrounding plate having a cylindrical shape and connected with the inner plate center hole and the outer plate center hole to close an inner circumferential surface of the waterproof assembly.
In an exemplary embodiment, the frame may include: a pair of frame pieces arranged at intervals, each frame piece comprising a plurality of equilateral angle steels connected end to form a hexagonal shape; and the two ends of the fixing column are respectively connected with the pair of framework pieces, so that the pair of framework pieces and the fixing column are combined together.
In an exemplary embodiment, the fixing post may have an inner step hole formed therein for passing a screw therethrough to connect the waterproof assembly to the motor cover.

As shown in fig. 1, 2, 3 and 4, an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure provides a guard for a motor, the motor 10 including a motor end cover 100, the motor end cover 100 being disposed at an end of the motor 10, the motor end cover 100 having a rotation shaft passing hole 110 for passing a rotation shaft of the motor and a plurality of ventilation openings 120 formed around the rotation shaft passing hole 110, wherein the guard may include: a dust-proof assembly 200 disposed in the ventilation opening 120 of the motor end cover 100 to prevent dust of the motor; and/or a waterproof assembly 300 coupled to the motor end cover 100 to waterproof the motor. The protector for the motor according to the present exemplary embodiment may improve a ventilation and heat dissipation effect and may secure the strength of the motor end cover 100 while reducing the weight.

In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 5, the dust prevention assembly 200 may include: an inner liner 210 connected to the vent 120 of the motor end cover 100 and having a recessed portion recessed toward the inside of the motor 10, the recessed portion being formed with a plurality of vent holes; and dust-proof cotton 220 disposed in the concave portion of the inner bushing 210 and covering the ventilation holes of the concave portion to prevent dust of the motor 10. In particular, the inner liner 210 may be coupled to the vent 120 of the machine end cover 100 by welding. In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 6, 7 and 8, the waterproof assembly 300 may include: a frame 310 having a polygonal shape; an inner plate 320 connected to a first end of the frame 310, the inner plate 320 being formed with an inner plate center hole 321 and a plurality of air flow holes 322, the inner plate center hole 321 being formed at a center portion of the inner plate 320, the air flow holes 322 for allowing air to enter the air vents 120 of the motor end cover 100; an outer plate 330 connected to a second end of the frame 310, the outer plate 330 being formed with an outer plate central hole 331 and a plurality of waterproof vents 332, the outer plate central hole 331 being formed at a central portion of the outer plate 330, the waterproof vents 332 being outwardly projected and opening downward for passing air and being waterproof; a peripheral plate 340 connected to an outer circumferential surface of the frame 310 to close an outer circumferential surface of the waterproof assembly 300; and an inner surrounding plate 350 having a cylindrical shape and connected to the inner plate central hole 321 and the outer plate central hole 331 to close an inner circumferential surface of the waterproof assembly 300. In particular, watertight vent 332 may be formed in the form of a louvered watertight vent, and may be a strip-shaped hole.
Fig. 9 is a sectional view illustrating a waterproof assembly of a guard for a motor according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, and fig. 10 is a perspective view illustrating a fixing post of the guard for a motor according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.
In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 8, 9 and 10, the frame 310 may include: a pair of frame pieces 311, the frame pieces 311 being arranged at intervals from each other, each frame piece 311 including a plurality of equilateral angle steels connected end to form a hexagonal shape; and fixing posts 312, both ends of which are respectively connected with the pair of frame pieces 311, so that the pair of frame pieces 311 and the fixing posts 312 are firmly combined together, thereby enhancing the strength of the waterproof assembly 300.
In another exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 6, 7, 8 and 9, the inner plate 320 and the outer plate 330 of the waterproof assembly 300 are also connected to both ends of the fixing post 312, respectively, and mounting holes through which both ends of the fixing post are exposed to the outside of the waterproof assembly 300 are formed in the inner plate 320 and the outer plate 330. Further, the fixing posts 312 may be disposed at portions of the frame pieces 311 where the equal angle steels are connected to each other, and may also be disposed around the inner panel 350.
In the present exemplary embodiment, the frame 310 of the waterproof assembly 300 may be welded and molded by a pair of frame pieces 311 and fixing posts 312, the frame pieces 311 may be spliced by equal angle steel, and the waterproof assembly 300 may have high strength and small weight by connecting the pair of frame pieces 311 and the inner and outer panels 320 and 330 using the fixing posts 312. Further, the inner plate 320, the outer plate 330, and the peripheral plate 340 may be welded to the frame 310, and the inner peripheral plate 350 is welded to the inner plate 320 and the outer plate 330 to form a central hole for passing through the motor shaft.
In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 10, the fixing post 312 may have an inner step hole formed therein for passing a screw therethrough to connect the waterproof assembly 300 to the motor cover 100. Specifically, a screw hole may be provided on the motor end cover 100, and an inner step hole into which a screw may be inserted and coupled with the screw hole on the motor end cover 100 may be formed in the fixing post 312, thereby coupling the waterproof assembly 300 to the motor end cover 100. In the present exemplary embodiment, the fixing posts 312 may not only serve to increase strength, but also serve as a connection structure of the waterproof assembly 300.
In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 7, the waterproof assembly 300 may further include: and a drain tank 360 disposed at the bottom of the waterproof unit 300 to drain water introduced into the waterproof unit 300. In an exemplary embodiment, the drain groove 360 may be formed by removing a peripheral plate attached to the bottom of the frame 310.
In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 1, the inner shroud 350 may be located inside the vent 120 of the motor end cover 100 in a radial direction such that the waterproof assembly 300 completely covers the vent 120. In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 8, the positions of the air flow holes 322 of the inner plate 320 may correspond to the positions of the vent holes of the inner liner 210 to facilitate air circulation.
The operation of the guard for an electric machine of the present disclosure is described below with reference to fig. 1 to 10.
As shown in fig. 1 to 10, when the motor is operated, a negative pressure is formed at the vent 120 of the motor end cover 100, and rainwater on the upper portion of the motor and rainwater at the front end of the waterproof assembly 300 may enter the interior of the waterproof assembly 300 through the outer plate 330 of the waterproof assembly 300. Since the openings of the waterproof vents 332 of the outer plate 330 face downward, the entering rainwater is less, and the axial pressure applied to the rainwater is also less, most of the rainwater flows downward along the inner wall of the outer plate 330 and flows out through the drainage grooves 360 at the bottom of the waterproof assembly 300, so as to realize drainage. 1. A guard for an electric machine, the electric machine including a machine end cap disposed at an end of the electric machine, the machine end cap having a shaft passing hole for passing a motor shaft and a plurality of vents formed around the shaft passing hole, wherein the guard comprises:
the dustproof assembly is arranged in a ventilation opening of the motor end cover so as to prevent dust of the motor; and
the waterproof assembly is arranged in front of the motor end cover and connected with the motor end cover so as to prevent the motor from being waterproofed;
the dust-proof assembly includes:
an inner bushing connected with the vent of the motor end cover and having a concave portion recessed toward the inside of the motor, the concave portion being formed with a plurality of vent holes; and
a dust-proof cotton disposed in the recessed portion of the inner bushing and covering the vent hole of the recessed portion to protect the motor from dust;
the waterproof assembly includes:
a frame;
an inner plate connected to a first end of the frame, the inner plate being formed with an inner plate center hole formed at an inner plate center portion and a plurality of air flow holes for allowing air to enter a vent of a motor end cover;
an outer panel connected to a second end of the frame, the outer panel being formed with an outer panel center hole formed at a center portion thereof and a plurality of waterproof vent holes;
a peripheral plate connected to an outer circumferential surface of the frame to close an outer circumferential surface of the waterproof assembly;
an inner surrounding plate having a cylindrical shape and connected to an inner plate central hole and an outer plate central hole to close an inner circumferential surface of the waterproof assembly;
the inner plate and the outer plate are distributed at intervals along the axial direction of the motor rotating shaft so as to form an interval in the waterproof assembly, and the interval is communicated with the waterproof vent hole and the air flow through hole; and
and the water drainage groove is arranged at the bottom of the waterproof component and communicated with the interval so as to discharge water entering the waterproof component.

7. The protector of claim 1, wherein the position of the air ventilation hole of the inner plate corresponds to the position of the ventilation hole of the inner liner to facilitate air ventilation.
8. An electric machine comprising:
a motor cover disposed at an end of the motor, the motor cover having a rotation shaft passing hole for passing a rotation shaft of the motor and a plurality of ventilation openings formed around the rotation shaft passing hole; and
guard according to any one of claims 1-7.
