FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a display according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to fig. 1, the display 100 includes a microcontroller 110, a screen 120, and a wireless communication unit 130. The microcontroller 110 includes an On-Screen Display (OSD) manipulation module 111. The microcontroller 110 IS electrically connected to the screen 120 and the wireless communication unit 130, and IS further electrically connected to an external host computer to receive the image signal IS from the external host computer. In this embodiment, the screen display control module 111 can execute the preset unlocking setting and the unlocking setting of the display frame. In detail, when the user uses the display 100, the user can perform a pairing operation in the control menu displayed on the screen 120 through the on-screen display control module 111 in advance to pair with an external portable electronic device through the wireless communication unit 130, wherein the external portable electronic device can have a communication unit identical to a communication interface of the wireless communication unit 130. The osd module 111 can determine whether the Media Access Control Address (mac Address) of the external portable electronic device is consistent with the previously recorded Address (whether the mac Address is verified), so as to automatically connect with the external portable electronic device through the wireless communication unit 130. In other words, only certain portable electronic devices may be wired to the display 100. In the embodiment, the wireless communication unit 130 may be, for example, a Bluetooth (Bluetooth) communication unit or a Wi-Fi communication unit, and the invention is not limited thereto. The portable electronic device may be an electronic device with a communication function, such as a mobile phone or a watch, which can be carried by a user.
Specifically, when the user carries the portable electronic device and temporarily moves away from the display 100, the microcontroller 110 can automatically determine whether the wireless communication unit 130 is not connected to an external portable electronic device. If the user is far away from the display 100 and exceeds the communication range of the wireless communication unit 130, the microcontroller 110 cannot be connected to the external portable electronic device, and therefore the microcontroller 110 automatically locks the display of the screen 120. Also, when the user returns to the seat to bring the portable electronic device close to the display 100, the micro-controller 110 can automatically determine whether the wireless communication unit 130 is connected to an external portable electronic device. If the user approaches the display 100 and is within the communication range of the wireless communication unit 130, the microcontroller 110 will automatically connect with the previously paired external portable electronic device, and therefore the microcontroller 110 will automatically unlock the display of the screen 120. That is, the display 100 of the present embodiment can determine whether to automatically lock or unlock the display screen of the screen 120 by automatically determining whether the wireless communication unit 130 can be connected with the external portable electronic device that is paired previously.
However, in an embodiment, when the display 100 automatically detects that the previously paired external portable electronic device is close to the external portable electronic device and the wireless communication unit 130 can be connected to the previously paired external portable electronic device, the display 100 may further display the unlock password window on the screen 120 through the screen display manipulation module 111. In addition, the microcontroller 110 may determine whether to unlock the display screen of the screen 120 according to whether the external password input command input by the user based on the unlock password window is correct. That is, the display 100 may further provide a higher security dual authentication function in combination with a manual unlocking of the password window.
It should be noted that the microcontroller 110 of the present embodiment can lock the display frame of the screen 120 by disabling the screen 120 or by driving the screen 120 to display a predetermined lock frame. Also, the present embodiment does not limit the types of the display 100 and the screen 120. In addition, the display 100 of the embodiment is an independent display device separated from the host computer, and the display 100 of the embodiment can implement the automatic locking and unlocking method of the embodiments of the present invention no matter whether the display 100 of the embodiment is connected with the host computer or not.
FIG. 2 is a flow diagram of the method for automatic locking and unlocking of the embodiment of FIG. 1 in accordance with the present invention. Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 2, the automatic locking and unlocking method of the present embodiment can be at least applied to the display 100 of the embodiment of fig. 1, so that the display 100 can perform the following steps S210 to S230. In step S210, the microcontroller 110 detects an external portable electronic device through the wireless communication unit 130. In step S220, when the wireless communication unit 130 is not connected to the external portable electronic device, the microcontroller 110 locks the display screen of the screen 120. In step S230, when the wireless communication unit 130 is connected to the external portable electronic device, the display 100 unlocks the display screen of the screen 120. Therefore, the automatic locking and unlocking method of the embodiment enables the display 100 to determine whether to automatically lock or unlock the display screen of the screen 120 by automatically determining whether the wireless communication unit 130 can be connected with a previously paired external portable electronic device.
In addition, the features, implementation manners and technical details of the relevant internal components of the display 100 of the present embodiment can be obtained by referring to the content of the embodiment of fig. 1 to obtain sufficient teaching, suggestion and implementation description, and therefore, are not described herein again.
Fig. 3 is a flow diagram of an automatic unlocking method according to the embodiment of fig. 1 of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 3, the automatic locking and unlocking method of the present embodiment can be at least applied to the display 100 of the embodiment of fig. 3, so that the display 100 can perform the following steps S310 to S340. Compared to the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the screen lock of the present embodiment can also be activated by the user manually setting the screen display control module 111 of the display 100. In step S310, the microcontroller 110 executes a screen lock operation according to an external control command corresponding to the screen display manipulation module 111 to lock the display frame of the screen 120. In step S320, the microcontroller 110 determines whether the display frame of the lock screen 120 has exceeded a predetermined time, wherein the predetermined time is a time reserved for the user to get away from the display 100. If not, the microcontroller 110 re-executes step S320 to continuously wait. If yes, the microcontroller 110 executes step S330. In step S330, the display 100 enables the wireless communication unit 130 and determines whether to detect an external portable electronic device. If not, the microcontroller 110 re-executes step S330 to continuously determine. If yes, the microcontroller 110 executes step S340. In step S340, the microcontroller 110 unlocks the screen 120. Therefore, the automatic unlocking method of the embodiment enables the display 100 to be manually unlocked by the user, and can determine whether to automatically unlock the display screen of the screen 120 by automatically determining whether the wireless communication unit 130 can be connected to the external portable electronic device that is paired previously.
In addition, the features, implementation manners and technical details of the relevant internal components of the display 100 of the present embodiment can be obtained by referring to the content of the embodiment of fig. 1 to obtain sufficient teaching, suggestion and implementation description, and therefore, are not described herein again.
FIG. 4 is a block diagram of a display according to another embodiment of the invention. The display 100 includes a microcontroller 410, a screen 420, a first wireless communication unit 430, and a second wireless communication unit 440. The microcontroller 410 includes an On-Screen Display (OSD) manipulation module 411. The microcontroller 110 IS electrically connected to the screen 420, the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440, and IS further electrically connected to an external host computer to receive the image signal IS through the external host computer. In this embodiment, the on-screen display control module 411 may execute the unlock setting and the unlock setting of the preset display frame.
In detail, when the user uses the display 400, the user can perform a pairing operation in the control menu displayed on the screen 420 through the on-screen display control module 411 in advance to respectively pair with the external portable electronic device through the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440, wherein the external portable electronic device can have a communication unit identical to the communication interface of the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440. The osd module 411 can automatically connect to the external portable electronic device through the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 by determining whether the first mac address of the external portable electronic device corresponding to the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second mac address of the external portable electronic device corresponding to the second wireless communication unit 440 are consistent with the previously recorded addresses (whether the first mac address and the second mac address pass the verification). In other words, only certain portable electronic devices may be wired to the display 400. In the embodiment, the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 are a bluetooth communication unit and a Wi-Fi communication unit, respectively, but the invention is not limited thereto.
In addition, in an embodiment, the unlocking setting of the screen display manipulation module 411 of the present embodiment may further include a verification sequence. That is, the micro-controller 410 not only determines whether the first mac address and the second mac address of the external portable electronic device are verified, but also further determines the verification sequence. For example, when the microcontroller 410 determines that the first mac address corresponding to the first wireless communication unit 430 is verified, and then determines that the second mac address corresponding to the second wireless communication unit 440 is verified, the microcontroller 410 will unlock the display of the screen 420.
Specifically, when the user carries the portable electronic device and is temporarily away from the display 400, the microcontroller 410 may automatically determine whether at least one of the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 is not connected to an external portable electronic device. If the user is far away from the display 400 and exceeds the communication range of at least one of the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440, the microcontroller 410 will automatically lock the display of the screen 420. Also, when the user returns to the seat to get close to the display 400, the microcontroller 410 can automatically determine whether the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 are both connected to the external portable electronic device. If the user approaches the display 100 and is within the communication range of the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440, the microcontroller 410 will automatically unlock the display of the screen 420. That is, the display 400 of the present embodiment can determine whether to automatically lock or unlock the display screen of the screen 420 by automatically determining whether both the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 can be connected to the external portable electronic device that is paired previously.
However, in an embodiment, when the display 400 automatically detects that the previously paired external portable electronic device is close to the external portable electronic device, and the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 can be connected to the previously paired external portable electronic device, the display 400 may further display the unlock password window on the screen 420 through the screen display manipulation module 411. In addition, the microcontroller 410 can determine whether to unlock the display frame of the screen 420 according to whether the external password input command input by the user based on the unlock password window is correct. That is, the display 400 may further provide a higher security dual authentication function in combination with a manual unlocking of the password window.
It should be noted that the microcontroller 410 of the present embodiment can lock the display frame of the screen 420 by disabling the screen 420 or by driving the screen 420 to display a predetermined lock frame. Also, the present embodiment does not limit the types of the display 400 and the screen 420. In addition, the display 400 of the embodiment is an independent display device separated from the host computer, and the display 400 of the embodiment can implement the automatic locking and unlocking method of the embodiments of the present invention no matter whether the display 400 of the embodiment is connected with the host computer or not.
FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram of the display and the portable electronic device of FIG. 4 according to the present invention. FIG. 6 is a flow diagram of the automatic locking and unlocking method of the embodiment of FIG. 4 in accordance with the present invention. Referring to fig. 1, 5 and 6, the automatic locking and unlocking method of the present embodiment can be at least applied to the display 400 and the portable electronic device 500 of the embodiments of fig. 4 and 5, so that the display 400 can perform the following steps S610 to S630. In step S610, the microcontroller 410 detects the external portable electronic device 500 through the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440. In step S620, when at least one of the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 of the display 400 is not connected to the external portable electronic device 500, the microcontroller 410 locks the display screen of the screen 420. The first wireless communication unit 430 may be, for example, a Wi-Fi wireless communication unit, and the second wireless communication unit 440 may be, for example, a bluetooth wireless communication unit. The first communication range R1 of the first wireless communication unit 430 is greater than the second communication range R2 of the second wireless communication unit 440. In step S630, when the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 are both connected to the external portable electronic device 500, the display 400 unlocks the display screen of the screen 420. Therefore, the automatic locking and unlocking method of the embodiment enables the display 400 to determine whether to automatically lock or unlock the display screen of the screen 420 by automatically determining whether the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 can be connected with the external portable electronic device 500 that is paired previously.
In addition, the features, implementation manners and technical details of the relevant internal components of the display 400 of the present embodiment can be obtained by referring to the content of the embodiment of fig. 4 to obtain sufficient teaching, suggestion and implementation description, and therefore, the details are not described herein again.
Fig. 7 is a flow diagram of an automatic unlocking method according to the embodiment of fig. 4 of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1, 5 and 7, the automatic locking and unlocking method of the present embodiment may be at least applied to the display 400 of the embodiment of fig. 5 and 7, so that the display 400 may perform the following steps S710 to S760. Compared to the embodiment shown in fig. 6, the screen lock of the present embodiment can also be initiated by the user manually setting the screen display control module 411 of the display 400, and the microcontroller 410 further determines whether to unlock the display frame of the screen 420 according to the predetermined verification sequence. In step S710, the microcontroller 410 executes a screen lock operation according to an external control command corresponding to the screen display manipulation module 411 to lock the display frame of the screen 420. In step S720, the microcontroller 410 determines whether the display frame of the lock screen 420 exceeds a predetermined time, wherein the predetermined time is a time reserved for the user to get away from the display 400. If not, the microcontroller 410 re-executes step S720 to continue waiting. If yes, the microcontroller 410 executes step S730. In step S730, the display 400 enables the first wireless communication unit 430 and determines whether to detect the external portable electronic device 500. If not, the microcontroller 410 re-executes step S730 to continuously determine. If yes, the microcontroller 410 executes step S740. In the present embodiment, the first wireless communication unit 430 may be, for example, a Wi-Fi wireless communication unit, and the second wireless communication unit 440 may be, for example, a bluetooth wireless communication unit. The first communication range R1 of the first wireless communication unit 430 is greater than the second communication range R2 of the second wireless communication unit 440. In this regard, since the first wireless communication unit 430 will detect the portable electronic device 500 before the second wireless communication unit 440, the verification sequence of the present embodiment is to verify the first mac address corresponding to the first wireless communication unit 430, and then verify the second mac address corresponding to the second wireless communication unit 440. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and in one embodiment, the verification sequence may also be a second mac address corresponding to the second wireless communication unit 440 is verified, and then the first mac address corresponding to the first wireless communication unit 430 is verified.
Therefore, in step S740, the microcontroller 410 determines whether the first wireless communication unit 430 detects an external portable electronic device 500. If not, the microcontroller 410 executes step S740 again. If yes, the microcontroller 410 executes step S750. In step S750, the microcontroller 410 determines whether the second wireless communication unit 440 detects the external portable electronic device 500. If not, the microcontroller 410 executes step S740 again. If yes, the microcontroller 410 executes step S760. In step S760, the microcontroller 410 unlocks the screen 420. Therefore, the automatic unlocking method of the embodiment enables the display 400 to be manually unlocked by the user, and can determine whether to automatically unlock the display of the screen 420 by automatically determining whether the first wireless communication unit 430 and the second wireless communication unit 440 can be sequentially connected to the external portable electronic device 500 that is previously paired.
In addition, the features, implementation manners and technical details of the relevant internal components of the display 400 of the present embodiment can be obtained by referring to the content of the embodiment of fig. 4 to obtain sufficient teaching, suggestion and implementation description, and therefore, the details are not described herein again.
In summary, the display with automatic locking and unlocking functions and the automatic locking and unlocking method of the present invention can automatically determine whether one or more wireless communication units of the display can be sequentially connected to the external portable electronic device paired previously by verifying the mac address, so as to determine whether to lock or unlock the display of the screen. Therefore, the display with automatic locking and unlocking functions and the automatic locking and unlocking method can provide high-security display data protection and high-privacy-degree use behaviors.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the above embodiments, it should be understood that the invention is not limited to the embodiments, and various changes and modifications can be made by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
