Description

Channel quality measurement reporting method and terminal of novel wireless broadband communication system
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of mobile communication, in particular to a channel quality measurement reporting method and a channel quality measurement reporting terminal of a novel wireless broadband communication system.
Background
With the rapid development of global mobile broadband communication and the dramatic increase of mobile data traffic, the demand of frequency as a basic resource for the development of mobile communication is increasing, and the current frequency division cannot meet the development of future mobile communication. Under the environment of increasingly scarce spectrum resources, a broadband communication system for realizing the discrete comb spectrum is produced on the premise of not changing the original frequency point allocation based on the discrete narrowband carrier aggregation technology.
In a novel wireless broadband communication system supporting discrete narrowband carrier aggregation, a channel in a specific frequency band (for example, 223-235MHz frequency band) and in a unit of narrowband spectrum resources (for example, 25kHz) is called a carrier. The base station (hereinafter referred to as a new base station) in the new wireless broadband communication system supports full bandwidth, and the terminal (hereinafter referred to as a new terminal) in the new wireless broadband communication system generally supports single or partial carrier due to its own capability and service characteristics.
Since the novel terminal only supports CQI (Channel Quality Indicator) measurement on currently used carrier resources, all carriers in a full frequency band cannot be measured, and the interference condition of other carrier resources cannot be known. In addition, the CQI measurement result reported by the novel terminal is an average measurement result of multiple carriers, and the reported granularity is coarse, which is not favorable for dynamic scheduling and interference avoidance of the base station.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
In the novel wireless broadband communication system supporting discrete narrow-band carrier aggregation, the novel terminal only supports the quality measurement of currently used carrier resources, all carriers in a full frequency band cannot be measured, the CQI measurement result reported by the novel terminal is the average measurement result of a plurality of carriers, the reported granularity is thick, and the dynamic scheduling and interference avoidance of a novel base station are not facilitated. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention provides a channel quality measurement reporting method of a novel wireless broadband communication system. Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a method for reporting channel quality measurement in a wireless broadband communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention, where as shown in fig. 1, an execution subject of the method is a terminal in the system, that is, a new terminal, and the method includes:
step 110, receiving a channel quality reporting indication sent by a base station; the channel quality reporting indication comprises carrier information to be reported and a format to be reported. The carrier information to be reported comprises carrier group identification to be reported and/or carrier group set identification to be reported.
The base station is a novel base station in a novel wireless broadband communication system supporting discrete narrowband carrier aggregation. When the base station needs to obtain the channel quality measurement result, a channel quality reporting indication can be sent to the terminal to indicate the channel quality obtained by the terminal reporting measurement.
In order to refine the reporting granularity, full bandwidth carriers or partial bandwidth carriers are grouped in advance to obtain a plurality of carrier groups, and a carrier group identifier to be reported included in the channel quality reporting indication is an identifier of a carrier group that needs to be reported with channel quality, where the carrier group identifier to be reported may be a group name or a group number of the carrier group to be reported, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited specifically to this. On the basis of grouping full-bandwidth carriers or partial-bandwidth carriers to obtain a plurality of carrier groups, for convenience of measurement and reporting, the carrier groups can be further grouped to obtain a plurality of carrier group sets, and each carrier group set comprises a plurality of carrier groups. The identifier of the carrier group set to be reported is an identifier of the carrier group set to be subjected to channel quality reporting, where the identifier of the carrier group set to be reported may be a set name or a set number of the carrier group set to be reported, and the embodiment of the present invention is not particularly limited to this. In addition, the channel quality reporting indication also includes a format to be reported. The format to be reported is the format adopted by the terminal specified by the base station when reporting the channel quality measurement result.
Step 120, if the carrier type corresponding to the carrier information to be reported is a working carrier, measuring channel quality data of the working carrier corresponding to the carrier information to be reported; and if the carrier type is a non-working carrier, measuring the channel quality data of the non-working carrier corresponding to the carrier information to be reported in a non-service transmission period.
Specifically, after receiving the channel quality reporting indication, carrier information to be reported may be extracted from the channel quality reporting indication, so as to determine a carrier group or a carrier group set that needs to be reported. Here, the carrier group to be reported may be one group or multiple groups, and the set of the carrier group to be reported may be one set or multiple sets.
For any carrier group or carrier group set to be reported, the carrier type of the carrier group or carrier group set to be reported can be determined to be a working carrier or a non-working carrier through the carrier type of the carrier group or carrier group set to be reported carried in the channel quality reporting indication or self-judgment. The working carrier refers to a carrier supported by a terminal, the non-working carrier is relative to the working carrier, and all or part of the rest carriers except the working carrier in the novel wireless broadband communication system.
If the carrier group or the carrier group set to be reported is a working carrier, the terminal does not need to carry out carrier adjustment and can directly carry out channel quality measurement on the carrier group or the carrier group set to be reported so as to obtain channel quality data; if the carrier group or the carrier group set to be reported is a non-working carrier, the terminal needs to adjust the carrier to the non-working carrier and measure the channel quality data of the non-working carrier when the terminal is in a non-service transmission period, that is, the terminal has no service transmission. Here, the Channel Quality data may be represented by a CQI (Channel Quality Indicator) value or may be represented by other parameters such as a Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR).
Step 130, generating quality reporting information based on the format to be reported and the channel quality data.
Specifically, after the channel quality test is completed, the channel quality data may be filled into a format to be reported, so as to obtain quality reporting information. Here, the quality reporting information, i.e., the information format, is a format to be reported, and includes information of channel quality data corresponding to a carrier group or a set of carrier groups to be reported.
Step 140, sending the quality reporting information to the base station.
Specifically, after the quality reporting information is obtained, the quality reporting information is sent to the base station, so that the base station can accurately extract channel quality data corresponding to each carrier group or carrier group set to be reported from the quality reporting information based on the format to be reported. Here, the transmission of the quality report information may be implemented by a Media Access Control (MAC) Control unit (CE).
The method provided by the embodiment of the invention obtains the information of the carrier to be reported through the channel quality reporting indication, thereby realizing the measurement and reporting of the channel quality data of the working carrier or the non-working carrier, and leading the base station to know the interference condition of each carrier resource, thereby better carrying out dynamic scheduling and interference avoidance. In addition, carrier information to be reported is obtained, carrier groups needing channel quality reporting are determined, and the division of the carrier groups is beneficial to refining the reporting granularity of the channel quality, so that the dynamic scheduling of the base station is further optimized.
Based on the foregoing embodiment, in the method, step 130 specifically includes: and filling the channel quality data corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported into the channel quality field in the format to be reported in sequence to generate quality reporting information.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a format to be reported, which includes a channel quality field according to an embodiment of the present invention, in fig. 2, Oct represents an 8-bit byte (octet), and one byte includes 8 bits (bit), where LCID is a logical channel ID and a field length is 3 bits; the P/C field is used to indicate whether the quality Report information specifically reports a PHR (Power Headroom Report) or a CQI, and the field length is 2 bits. The channel quality field is the field labeled CQI in fig. 2. The CQI is used to indicate channel quality data, i.e., CQI values, corresponding to the carrier group identifiers to be reported, and the length of the CQI field corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported is 6 bits, and the CQI field is arranged according to the size sequence of the carrier group identifiers to be reported. In fig. 2, the length of the channel quality field is 8 × k bits, that is, the channel quality reporting indicator includes k to-be-reported carrier group indicators in total, and the corresponding quality reporting information includes a channel quality field formed by the lengths of k CQI fields. R is a padding bit, is set to be 0 and is padded for realizing byte alignment in channel report information.
Based on any of the above embodiments, in the method, step 130 specifically includes: filling any carrier group mark to be reported into a carrier group mark field in a format to be reported, filling channel quality data corresponding to the carrier group mark to be reported into the channel quality field in the format to be reported, and generating quality reporting information corresponding to the carrier group mark to be reported.
Fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a format to be reported, which includes a carrier Group identification field and a channel quality field according to an embodiment of the present invention, where in fig. 3, a Group ID, that is, a carrier Group identification field, is used to indicate a carrier Group corresponding to channel quality data included in quality reporting information. In the format to be reported shown in fig. 3, the carrier group identifier field is used to carry any carrier group identifier to be reported, and the subsequent channel quality field is used to carry channel quality data corresponding to the carrier group identifier to be reported, that is, one carrier group identifier to be reported corresponds to one quality report information.
Correspondingly, step 140 specifically includes: and sequentially sending the quality reporting information corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported to the base station.
Specifically, if the channel quality reporting indication includes a plurality of carrier group identifiers to be reported, a plurality of quality reporting information are correspondingly generated, and each quality reporting information needs to be sent to the base station.
Based on any of the above embodiments, in the method, step 130 specifically includes: and filling any carrier group set identifier to be reported into a carrier group set identifier field in the format to be reported, and sequentially filling channel quality data of each carrier group corresponding to the carrier group set identifier to be reported into a channel quality field in the format to be reported to generate quality reporting information corresponding to the carrier group set identifier to be reported.
Fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a format to be reported, which includes a carrier Group Set identification field and a channel quality field according to an embodiment of the present invention, where in fig. 4, a Group Set ID, that is, a carrier Group Set identification field, is used to indicate a carrier Group Set corresponding to channel quality data included in quality reporting information. In the format to be reported shown in fig. 4, the carrier group set identifier field is used for carrying any carrier to be reportedGroup set identification followed by channel quality field, i.e. CQI1、CQI2、…、CQIlAnd is configured to sequentially carry channel quality data of each carrier group corresponding to the carrier group identifier to be reported.
When generating quality reporting information corresponding to any carrier group set identifier to be reported, it is necessary to sequentially fill each carrier group in the carrier group set to be reported into a channel quality field according to the sequence of carrier group numbers from small to large.
Correspondingly, step 140 specifically includes: and sequentially sending the quality reporting information corresponding to each carrier group set identifier to be reported to the base station.
Specifically, in the quality reporting information generated based on the to-be-reported format shown in fig. 4, one to-be-reported carrier group set identifier corresponds to one quality reporting information. If the channel quality reporting indication includes a plurality of carrier group set identifiers to be reported, a plurality of quality reporting information is correspondingly generated, and each quality reporting information needs to be sent to the base station.
According to any of the above embodiments, the method further includes, before step 130: and if the channel quality data corresponding to any carrier group identifier to be reported is not measured, taking the special identifier field as the channel quality data corresponding to the carrier group identifier to be reported.
Specifically, before generating the quality reporting information based on the format to be reported and the channel quality data, it needs to be determined whether channel quality data corresponding to the carrier group identifier to be reported is measured: and if the channel quality data corresponding to the carrier group identifier to be reported is not measured, taking the special identifier field as the channel quality data corresponding to the carrier group identifier to be reported. Here, the special identification field represents an unavailable measurement result, the special identification field is filled into a format to be reported as channel quality data, quality reporting information is generated and sent to the base station, and the base station can identify the special identification field and thus acquire that a corresponding carrier group to be reported represents the unavailable measurement result.
For example, in the to-be-reported format shown in fig. 2, it is necessary to fill the channel quality data corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported into the channel quality field in sequence, and if the measurement result corresponding to any carrier group identifier to be reported is not available, the special identifier field is filled into the to-be-reported format as the channel quality data, so as to ensure that the channel quality data corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported in the channel quality field is filled in sequence, thereby avoiding that the base station cannot obtain a correct measurement result due to sequence disorder when analyzing the channel quality data corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported because of lack of channel quality data corresponding to a certain carrier group identifier to be reported.
Based on any of the above embodiments, in the method, step 130 specifically includes:
step 131, if there is channel quality data corresponding to any carrier group identifier to be reported, setting the reporting identifier corresponding to the carrier group identifier to be reported as reporting, otherwise, setting the reporting identifier as not reporting.
Specifically, the reporting identifier is used to indicate whether to fill channel quality data corresponding to the carrier group identifier to be reported into the format to be reported reporting base station. And aiming at any carrier group mark to be reported, if the channel quality data of the carrier group mark to be reported is obtained through measurement, the reporting mark is set to be reported, and if the channel quality data of the carrier group mark to be reported is not obtained through measurement, the reporting mark is set not to be reported.
Step 132, sequentially filling the reporting identifier corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported into the group index field in the format to be reported, and sequentially filling the channel quality data corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported into the channel quality field in the format to be reported, thereby generating quality reporting information.
Fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a format to be reported including a group index field and a channel quality field according to an embodiment of the present invention, where in fig. 5, G1、G2、…、GlSequentially representing the reporting identification, G, corresponding to each carrier group identification to be reported1、G2、…、GlI.e. constitute a group index field. The group index field is used for indicating each channel quality field of the channel quality fields in the quality reporting information to correspond to each channel quality field in sequenceThe carrier group identifier to be reported. The existence of the group index field ensures that the channel quality field only needs to be filled with the channel quality data of the carrier group identifier to be reported, and the channel quality field does not need to be filled with the channel quality data of the carrier group identifier to be reported, wherein the reporting identifier of the carrier group identifier to be reported is not reported. That is to say, the existence of the group index field enables the channel quality field to be only filled with the channel quality data of the carrier group identifier to be reported, which is obtained by measurement, and does not need to adopt a special field to replace the channel quality data of the carrier group identifier to be reported, which is obtained by non-measurement, so that the resource utilization rate is improved.
Based on any of the above embodiments, in the method, the step 132 specifically includes: and for any carrier group set identifier to be reported, filling any carrier group set identifier to be reported into a carrier group set identifier field in a format to be reported, sequentially filling reporting identifiers corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported contained in the carrier group set identifier to be reported into a group index field in the format to be reported, sequentially filling channel quality data corresponding to each carrier group identifier to be reported with the reporting identifier to be reported into a channel quality field in the format to be reported, and generating quality reporting information corresponding to the carrier group set identifier to be reported.
Fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a format to be reported, which includes a carrier Group Set identifier field, a Group index field, and a channel quality field, according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the format to be reported shown in fig. 6 corresponds to any carrier Group Set identifier to be reported, where a carrier Group Set identifier field Group Set ID is used to indicate a carrier Group Set corresponding to channel quality data included in quality report information, and a Group index field G is used to indicate a carrier Group Set corresponding to channel quality data included in quality report information1、G2、…、GlUsed for indicating the reporting identification of each carrier group corresponding to the carrier group set identification to be reported, and the channel quality field CQI1、…、CQIlAnd the channel quality data is used for sequentially indicating that each reporting identifier in the to-be-reported carrier group set identifiers is the reported carrier group channel quality data.
According to any of the above embodiments, in the method, step 130 further includes: filling carrier type identifiers corresponding to the carrier types into carrier type identifier fields in a format to be reported; the carrier type identification field is a logical channel ID or a P/C field.
Specifically, referring to the format to be reported described in fig. 2 to fig. 6, the format to be reported may further include an LCID and/or a P/C domain. The LCID is a logical channel ID, and the P/C field is used to indicate whether the quality reporting information specifically reports a PHR or a CQI. Both LCID and P/C fields may be used as carrier type identification fields for carrying carrier type identification. Here, the carrier type identifier is a carrier type used to indicate a carrier group corresponding to the channel quality data filled into the format to be reported, and the carrier type may be an operating carrier or a non-operating carrier.
For example, when the LCID is used as the carrier type identification field, it may be defined that when the LCID value is 101, the corresponding carrier type is a working carrier, and when the LCID value is 100, the corresponding carrier type is a non-working carrier. For another example, when the P/C domain is used as the carrier type identifier field, it may be defined that when the value of the P/C domain is 00, the reported information is PHR, when the value of the P/C domain is 01, the reported information is CQI, and the corresponding carrier type is a working carrier, and when the value of the P/C domain is 11, the reported information is CQI, and the corresponding carrier type is a non-working carrier. In addition, when the LCID is used as the carrier type identifier field, the format to be reported may not include the P/C field.
In addition, if the last byte of the report format is not aligned, the padding bits are filled to the vacancy of the last byte. Referring to the structural schematic diagrams of the format to be reported shown in fig. 2 to fig. 6, the tail end of the last byte Oct n is filled with padding bits R to ensure that the bytes in the quality report information can be aligned.
According to any of the above embodiments, the method further includes, before step 110: and receiving carrier grouping configuration information sent by the base station.
Here, the carrier grouping configuration information is a grouping condition in which the full bandwidth carriers or the partial bandwidth carriers are grouped in advance, and includes a grouping condition of the carrier groups and a division condition of the carrier group set. Before performing channel quality measurement reporting, the base station side and the terminal side must unify carrier grouping configuration information, and on this basis, the carrier groups indicated by the carrier group identifiers at both ends and the carrier group set identifier are consistent with the corresponding carriers in the carrier group set.
