The size and the strength of each part in the whole device are limited, the minimum height from the top surface of the base to the top surface of the upper base after assembly is 10mm, and +/-2 mm is reserved in consideration of the size deviation of the sand core, so the minimum wall thickness measured by the device is 12 mm; when the wall thickness is more than 30mm, the sizes of all parts in the design of the invention can be proportionally adjusted to meet the measurement of thick and large walls. When the minimum wall thickness is 12mm and the error range is 2mm, the minimum height of the ejector rod is 5 mm; when different wall thicknesses and error requirements are met, ejector rods with different heights are used or a sleeve structure arranged by the ejector rods can be used for measurement, so that tools of the same specification can be provided with ejector rods with different heights to measure the wall thickness within a certain range, and the tool is multipurpose.
