Abstract

The electronic device of an embodiment includes a recording unit, a program information storage unit, a program determination unit, and a program list generation unit. The recording unit records a program previously designated to be recorded in a certain time period. Attribute information of each program is stored in a program information storage section. The program judging section judges whether or not the recorded program satisfies a condition that the content is incomplete. The program table generating unit generates a playback list (time-shift machine past program table) of recorded programs, in which a mark indicating that the program contents are incomplete is marked on program columns of programs satisfying conditions among program columns of recorded programs that can be played back, based on attribute information of the recorded programs. According to the present invention, the user can intuitively determine the recording status of the recorded program by viewing only the playback list of the recorded program.

Description

Electronic device and program list generation method
Technical Field
The embodiment of the invention relates to an electronic device and a program list generation method.
Background
Conventionally, recording functions of a recording apparatus such as a BD recorder have been as follows.
For example, there is a program table selection recording function of recording a program by selecting the program from an electronic program table (EPG program table) displayed on a television screen or designating a date and time for scheduled recording. There is also a manually operated recording function that records the program being viewed by pressing a "record button".
Further, there is a function of automatically recording a program in a time slot by designating a channel to be recorded and the time slot for recording in advance, which is called a so-called "full recording function" or a "full recording function" (for example, also called a "time shift function" or the like). In the time shift function, a recorded program (referred to as a time shift past program table) is displayed as in an electronic program guide (EPG program table), and a desired program is selected from the time shift past program table and operated, whereby playback is enabled. Here, playback refers to playing back recorded program content after a program played by a television station is played, unlike the first play of the television station.
However, in the programs recorded by these recording functions, the beginning or ending of a program may be missing due to a difference between the recording start (end) time and the playback start (end) time of the program, a functional limitation of the recording apparatus, an unintentional operation of the user, and other external factors (a change in the reception environment of radio waves, etc.), or a part of the program content may be missing due to a signal failure during recording, or a part or all of the program may not be recorded.
Conventionally, there are techniques as follows: an execution history overview capable of confirming whether or not a scheduled item scheduled for recording is actually executed is displayed on a display unit. In this technique, the user can confirm whether or not the scheduled recording is normally executed by confirming the display of the item corresponding to the execution history overview, and can confirm detailed information such as a recording execution status such as a head missing or a tail missing, and a cause of a recording failure when there is a recording failure at the time of the scheduled recording.
Documents of the prior art
Patent document 1: japanese patent laid-open publication No. 2005-117448
However, in the prior art, since the following sequence is followed: in order to confirm whether or not the scheduled recording is correctly performed, it is only possible to confirm by displaying a confirmation-dedicated screen such as an execution history overview, and after confirmation, the screen is returned to the original screen, and a list for playback of the program (a list of past programs of the time shifter) is displayed and the program is viewed by a playback operation, and therefore, operability is not good. Therefore, in practice, it is known that the scheduled recording of the program fails only when the program is attempted to be played back by selecting the corresponding program from the past program list of the time shifter at the time of playing back the program and then performing the playback operation.
That is, when the user performs playback without knowing that the program content is incomplete (false), the program is not completely played back, and therefore, time may be wasted in viewing.
For example, in the case where the recording start time reservation is set to 21 points in the recording setting of the time zone in the time shift function, the time zone is changed from 20: the program starting at 50 does not start, and if this is a program such as a tv series that starts a run-in composition, the "start" part is not seen, and the background of the tv series is not known, the result is unsatisfactory. Further, when the user sets the recording end time to 22 points when setting recording for a certain time period, at 22: the program ending at 10 has no ending and likewise no "closed" part is seen, and the important ending is not known, with unsatisfactory results.
The present invention is directed to provide an electronic device and a program list generating method, in which a user can intuitively determine a recording status of a recorded program by viewing a list for playback of the recorded program.
Disclosure of Invention
An electronic device according to an embodiment includes a recording unit, a program information storage unit, a program determination unit, and a program table generation unit. The recording unit records a program previously designated to be recorded in a certain time period. The attribute information of each recorded program is stored in a program information storage section. The program judging section judges whether or not the recorded program satisfies a condition that the content is incomplete. The program table generating unit generates a recorded program playback list having one or more program fields that display program information including program names of recorded programs that can be played back, based on attribute information of the programs, and marks that the program contents are incomplete are marked on program fields of programs satisfying conditions in the one or more program fields in the playback list.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating one embodiment of an electronic device.
The electronic device according to the embodiment is connected to the storage device 67, the display 26, and the speaker 36, and is, for example, a recording/playback device 1 (see fig. 1) capable of recording (recording) and playing back an arbitrary number of programs played by a broadcast operator in an arbitrary time slot. The recording and playback apparatus 1 may be, for example, a recorder (referred to as a "BD recorder") equipped with a drive device for recording and playback of a recording medium (such as a blu-ray disc) or a television apparatus having a function of a built-in recorder. Further, the television device may be a portable terminal device having a Personal Computer (PC) or a display portion capable of receiving a program.
In addition, the program may be content distributed by a distribution operator through a network or the like. The program may be a content prepared by an information supply source and acquired based on a predetermined condition when accessed by a user. Further, programs are sometimes also referred to as streams or information. The program is composed of video and audio or music attached to the video. The video includes at least one of a moving image and a still image or text (information represented by characters, symbols, or the like represented by the encoded code string).
As shown in fig. 1, the recording and playback apparatus 1 includes an input unit (tuner unit) 11, a signal processing unit (TS separator) 12, a video processing block 21, an audio processing block 31, a main control block 51, and the like.
The main control block 51 includes a CPU (main processing circuit) 52, a ROM (read only memory) 53, a RAM (random access memory (work memory)) 54, an NVM (nonvolatile (rewritable) memory) 55, a recording/playback processing section 56, a program information acquisition section 57, a program table generation section 58, a reservation control section 59, and the like. The main control block 51 is connected to an operation unit 61, a reception unit 62, a communication interface 63, a network control unit 64, USB interfaces 65 and 66, an HDMI interface 68, a storage device 67, and the like, which will be described later, and controls the operations thereof. Note that the interface is omitted and indicated as "I/F" in fig. 1. HDMI is a registered trademark.
The input unit 11 is connected to an antenna ANT, and receives a broadcast signal, i.e., a program, of a spatial wave, for example, a terrestrial wave from a transmitting station, or a satellite wave transmitted by a broadcasting satellite bs (broadcasting satellite) or a communication satellite cs (communication satellite). The input unit 11 also receives external input content (program) via, for example, an STB (Set Top Box). The input unit 11 can also acquire images provided by a camera, for example.
The input unit 11 includes, for example, 7 tuners capable of selecting programs of 7 channels. Each tuner includes a 3-wave tuner capable of selecting one of terrestrial/BS/CS digital broadcast programs, and can perform allocation setting to automatic scheduled recording (loop recording) according to a time-shift function, individually scheduled recording (normal recording) according to a desired program, or the like.
In this example, a setting example will be described in which 6 channels out of 7 channels are allocated to loop recording, and the remaining 1 channel is allocated to normal recording. In addition, the input unit 11 can receive (select) programs of channels equal to or larger than the current number by adding a tuner.
The signal processing unit (TS separation unit) 12 separates a program, which is broadcast information of an arbitrary channel received and selected by the input unit 11, into a Video signal (Video), an Audio signal (Audio), and control information, which are TS (Transport Stream). The control Information includes Program arrangement Information, which is PSI (Program Specific Information) or SI (Service Information), in which Information such as a TS (stream) distribution rule, a TS content (description of a Program), a broadcast schedule, and a broadcast Program is described.
The Video signal (Video) is decoded by the Video decoder 22 of the Video processing block 21 and output as a digital Video signal (Video output). Further, a display section (display) 26 is connected to the image processing block 21. In addition, the display 26 may be separate from the recording and playback apparatus 1.
The Video processing block 21 includes a Video (Video) decoder 22, a Video (Video) processing unit 23, an OSD (On Screen Display) processing unit 24, a Display control unit 25, and the like.
The Video processing unit 23 converts the digital Video signal (Video) decoded by the Video decoder 22 into a predetermined resolution and output mode that can be displayed (played back) by the display 26.
The OSD processing unit 24 outputs a program table display signal based on program table data generated by a program table generating unit 58, which will be described later, to the display control unit 25 so that the Video signal (Video) output to the display 26 from the display control unit 25 can be superimposed and displayed.
The video signal on which the program table display signal is superimposed may be a black screen display signal for GUI (Graphical User Interface) display, for example. Further, the program table display signal may be generated based on the Video signal (Video) in such a manner that a part of the display screen displayed on the display 26 is transparent.
The display control unit 25 converts the video signal converted by the video processing unit 23 into a display drive signal that can be displayed (video playback) on the display 26 as appropriate. The Display control unit 25 also superimposes an OSD (On Screen Display) signal from the OSD processing unit 24 On the Display drive signal from the video processing unit 23. The output of the display control unit 25 can be output to an output port 27 connectable to an external monitoring device, a projector device (projector device), or the like connected to the outside.
The Audio processing block 31 includes an Audio (Audio) decoder 32, an Audio (Audio) processing section 33, a delay section 34, a D-a (Digital to Analog) converter 35, and the like. Further, a speaker 36 is connected to the sound processing block 31. In addition, the speaker 36 may be integrated with the recording and playback apparatus 1 or may be separate.
The Audio processing unit 33 converts the Audio signal (Audio) decoded by the Audio decoder 32 into a predetermined format that can be played back appropriately by the speaker 36. The sound signal is further converted into an analog sound output signal in a D-a converter 35. Thus, when the speaker 36 is connected to the D-a converter 35, the speaker 36 outputs audible tones (analog sound (Audio) output).
In addition, the output of the D-a converter 35 may be branched to a connectable output terminal 37 such as an AV (Audio Visual) amplifier. The audio signal input to the D-a converter 35 is provided with a predetermined delay (time) by the delay unit 34 according to the type of the content. For example, in the case where the content is a game, the size (length) of the delay (time) specified by the delay unit 34 is smaller (shorter) than the size (length) of the delay (time) applied in the case of playing back a program.
The operation unit 61 inputs a control command corresponding to a user's direct operation, such as viewing a program, displaying an EPG program table (electronic program table) of a scheduled recording program, selecting a channel (television station) of a television broadcast (program) from the EPG program table (electronic program table), starting recording the program (REC), displaying a list for playback (past program table of a time shifter) for playing back a recorded program, selecting a program to be played back (up, down, left, and right direction commands) from the list for playback, and starting Playback (PLAY), to the main control block 51.
The receiving unit 62 inputs commands (operation inputs) corresponding to commands (operation inputs) from a remote controller 71 (hereinafter referred to as a "remote controller 71"), such as selection (channel selection) of a channel (television station), start of Recording (REC), playback of a recorded Program (PLAY), PAUSE (PAUSE), special playback, menu display, and the like, to the main control block 51.
The remote controller 71 includes a "blue" key 71B, a "red" key 71R, a "green" key 71G, and a "yellow" key 71Y corresponding to a color button display to be described later for inputting a control command.
The communication interface 63 enables Wireless communication with a short-range Wireless communication apparatus, for example, in compliance with a WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) standard or the like. As the Near Field Communication standard, for example, Bluetooth (registered trademark) standard, NFC (Near Field Communication), or the like can be used.
The communication interface 63 directly communicates with, for example, a tablet terminal (a smartphone or a portable PC (personal computer)). The communication interface 63 may be any of a wired system and a wireless system, and for example, a communication unit (reader/writer) 81 capable of performing non-contact communication with a card medium of a wireless system or the like is connected thereto. The communication unit 81 may be an independent interface that can perform wireless/wired signal transmission with a wireless keyboard, a mouse, or the like, for example.
The Network control unit 64 controls transmission of input information to access the external Network NTW, and acquisition (reception) of information and the like from various Service servers on the external Network NTW, such as a TimeOn server or an SNS (Social Network Service) server.
The USB interfaces 65 and 66 can use storage devices (USB connected hard disk drives: USB hdds) 6 and 7 corresponding to the USB standard and external devices such as a keyboard. These storage devices 6 and 7 can be used for various purposes according to settings.
For example, in the storage device 6 connected to the USB interface 65, programs of a specific channel (broadcast carrier or distribution carrier) and a predetermined time zone specified by the user can be recorded in accordance with a time shift function for all recordings (all program recording function: also referred to as "all recording function" or "loop recording function") for a certain period.
In addition, in the storage device 7 connected to the USB interface 66, programs individually specified by the user from an electronic program guide (EPG program guide) can be recorded by reservation or manually. In this example, 2 external storage devices are connected as an example, but a combination of an internal storage device and an external storage device may be used, or 3 or more external storage devices may be connected.
The HDMI (High-definition Digital Media Interface, High-definition multimedia Interface (registered trademark)) Interface 68 enables wired communication between devices of the HDMI standard or the MHL (Mobile High-definition Link) standard.
A recorder that records a program independently of the recording and playback apparatus 1, or another recorder or television apparatus that is connected to a home server in a home network using the home server is connected to the HDMI interface 68.
This makes it possible to view the programs (video data including audio) received by the recording and playback apparatus 1 and recorded in the storage apparatuses 6 and 7 in another television apparatus connected to the home server. Further, the recording and playback apparatus 1 is capable of playing back programs recorded by another recorder connected to the recorder or the home server.
The storage device 67 holds (stores) scheduled recording information for scheduled recording in which a user specifies a channel (or a program name) and a date and time and performs recording in units of programs, and attribute information related to recording contents of programs actually recorded in the storage devices 6 and 7. The scheduled recording information includes a program ID, a title, a channel, a recording format, a recording time period (recording start time, recording end time), and the like.
These pieces of information are information extracted from the EPG program table data acquired by the program information acquisition section 57. Note that the reservation control unit 59, which will be described later, is responsible for registration/deletion of the reserved recording information (the reservation control unit 59 registers/deletes the reserved recording information).
The storage unit 67 stores a condition that the program content is not authentic (incomplete). As an example of the condition, for example, a case where an actual time zone (recording start time, recording end time) for actually recording a program does not coincide with a time zone (recording start time, recording end time) for a program on an electronic program table in which a program is scheduled to be recorded (a case where a time deviation occurs at the recording start time or the recording end time) is given.
In addition, as the conditions, for example, a case where a part of a recorded program includes an unrecorded part, and a case where a user operation that affects recording is present during recording of the program are cited. The user operation that affects recording is, for example, switching the setting of the time shift recording from "use" to "non-use" during the course of the program, or vice versa, or changing the recording mode during the recording.
In addition, there is also a hardware disadvantage. For example, there is also any of a case where a B-CAS card (japanese digital television condition receiving card) is not inserted, a case where an antenna is not connected, a case where reception is poor, a case where a program is prohibited from being recorded, and a case where a part of a pay-for-play unsigned contract program is recorded in a state where the pay-for-play unsigned contract program can be played.
The storage device 67 holds externally available rewritable information such as contract information of the pay channel, update information referred to by the CPU52 (main control block 51), and update programs and copy control information corresponding to the update information. The storage device 67 is, for example, in the form of a card or in any form that is portable, and can be attached to/detached from a card slot provided in the recording and playback apparatus 1.
Specifically, in the apparatus, a card slot is provided in which a storage medium, which is a B-CAS card or the like, for viewing a terrestrial digital broadcast or pay broadcast program is installed, and the storage medium is installed in the card slot so as to be viewable. The loading and unloading state of the storage medium is detected by the main control block 51.
Further, the storage device 67 stores a condition that the program content is not satisfied. That is, the storage device 67 functions as a condition storage unit that stores a condition that the program content is not satisfied.
Here, the condition that the program content is not established is, for example, a case where the program is set to be recorded and the time zone in which the program is scheduled to be recorded (recording start time and recording end time) does not coincide with the time zone of the program on the electronic program guide (EPG program table) (program play start time and program play end time).
In addition, the conditions for using the predetermined detection function of the recording and playback apparatus 1 may be, for example, a case where a part of a recorded program includes an unrecorded part, a case where a user operation that affects recording is performed during recording of the program, or the like. The user operation that affects recording may be any of a case where the user operates the remote controller 71 or the like during the program to switch the setting of the time shift recording from < use >/< non-use >, and a case where the recording mode (operation mode of recording) is changed during recording, for example.
The reception contract with respect to the functional limitation or the incomplete of the hardware (for example, some pay channel users are not subscribed) may be a condition that the program content is not established, and the condition may be any of a case where a television conditional access card is not inserted, such as a japanese digital television conditional access B-CAS card, an antenna is not connected, reception is poor, a part of an unsigned program for pay broadcasting is recorded in a state where the record of the program is prohibited and the part of the unsigned program for pay broadcasting is playable.
The main control block 51 executes processing corresponding to an input signal or a control signal in a work area provided by the RAM54, in accordance with control of the CPU52, based on a control program held by the ROM 53.
The CPU52 (main control block 51) controls the recording/playback processing section 56, the program information acquisition section 57, the program table generation section 58, and the reservation control section 59 based on the operation information (control input) from the operation section 61 and the operation information (control input) from the remote controller 71 received by the reception section 62. The CPU52 also writes various setting information, management information on another recorder or television apparatus connected to the home server in the home network, and the like in the NVM 55.
The CPU52 controls the recording/playback processing unit 56 based on, for example, an operation instruction (control input) from the user or scheduled recording information for scheduled recording, and records (records) the video signal and the audio signal output from the video decoder 22 and the audio decoder 32 in the storage devices 6 and 7 on the previously designated sides.
The CPU52 controls the program information acquisition section 57 to acquire various information (attribute information) related to a program in accordance with a program or application held by the NVM55 or ROM53 or firmware of the CPU 52.
The Program Information acquisition section 57 acquires attribute Information of a Program, such as viewing restriction age Information or EPG Program table (electronic Program table) Information, or a rebroadcast Program, from, for example, PSI (Program Specific Information) or SI (Service Information) in control Information attached to the TS separated by the signal processing section (TS separating section) 12. The EPG program table (electronic program table) information includes the play start time, play end time, program title, program content, artist name, and the like of a program.
Further, the program information acquisition section 57 acquires program information (play schedule) for, for example, 8 days for programs of all channels (television stations) receivable by the input section 11, and stores it in, for example, the RAM54, the NVM55, or the storage device 67.
When recording the video signal, the audio signal, and the like in the storage devices 6 and 7, the recording/playback processing unit 56 encrypts the video signal, the audio signal, and the like and converts the signals into a predetermined recording format. In response to an instruction input from the remote controller 71 or the like based on a user operation, the recording/playback processing unit 56 reads out a desired video signal, audio signal, and the like from the storage devices 6 and 7, decodes the signals, and outputs the decoded signals to the video decoder 22 and the audio decoder 32.
The recording/playback processing unit 56 refers to the scheduled recording information, starts recording in any of the storage devices 6 and 7 set in advance at the recording start time, and ends recording at the end time. The recording/playback processing section 56 stores attribute information (recording management information of a recorded program) related to a target program in the storage device 67 at the time of recording (recording). That is, the recording/playback processing section 56 functions as a recording section for recording a program that is designated to be recorded in advance for a certain period of time and/or a program that is set to be recorded by the time shift function in the storage devices 6 and 7 and the storage device 67. The storage device 67 functions as an information storage unit for storing attribute information of each recorded (recorded) program.
The attribute information is substantially the same as reserved recording information such as a program ID, title, channel, recording format, and time zone (start time, end time), and the broadcast start time and broadcast end time of the program in the EPG program table (electronic program table) information acquired by the program information acquiring unit 57, and the actual recording start time and recording end time of the program, which is a part of the attribute information, are recorded in the recording management table 67a (see fig. 4) for each program ID. In addition, the contents of the recording management table 67a are explained later with reference to fig. 4.
By the user performing the display operation of the EPG program table (electronic program table) at the time of viewing the program or at the time of scheduled recording, the program table generating section 58 generates program table data (EPG program table data) for displaying the program table displayed by the display 26 via the OSD processing section 24 based on the EPG program table (electronic program table) information acquired by the program information acquiring section 57 under the control of the CPU 52. The program table data (EPG program table data) is converted into a program table display signal by the OSD processing section 24 and output to the display control section 25.
Further, by the user performing a display operation of displaying the time-shifter past program table 301 at the time of program playback or the like, the program table generating section 58 generates program table data (time-shifter past program table data) for displaying the recorded program table displayed by the display 26 via the OSD processing section 24 based on the attribute information of the recorded program acquired by the program information acquiring section 57 and the information of the recording management table 67 a.
When generating the program table data, the program table generating unit 58 marks "1" in the "established state" corresponding to the recorded program satisfying the condition in the program fields included in the data, and marks the program fields of the programs whose established state in the recording management table 67a is "1" to indicate that the program contents are not established.
The time shift past program table data is a list for playing back recorded programs based on attribute information of recorded programs (information of programs when programs are recorded) and information (establishment status) of the recording management table 67a, the list for playing back recorded programs having one or more program columns 302 (see fig. 3) and the like, the program columns 302 displaying program information (part of information of EPG program table (electronic program table) information such as program contents and performers) including titles (program names) of recorded programs that can be played back, and the time shift past program table 301 (see fig. 3) is an example of a display form in which the list is made into a table form by vertical and horizontal program columns.
The OSD processing unit 24 converts the time-shifter past program table data into a program table display signal, outputs the program table display signal to the display 26 via the display control unit 25, and displays the program table as the time-shifter past program table 301 on the screen of the display 26.
In the past program table 301 of the time shifter displayed on the screen of the display 26, a mark 303 indicating that the program content is not established is marked on a program column 302 of a program satisfying the condition among the plurality of program columns.
The program determining unit 60 reads out the conditions stored in the storage unit 67, determines whether or not the recorded program satisfies the read-out conditions, and records the determination result as a state in a column of the established state of the corresponding program ID in the recording management table 67 a. The state is represented by "1" when the condition is satisfied, and by "0" when the condition is not satisfied. The conditions may be set in advance in the program determining unit 60 without being stored in the storage device 67. In this case, the program determination unit 60 determines whether or not the recorded program satisfies a condition that the content is not (incomplete).
Under the control of the CPU52, the reservation control unit 59 accepts a reservation recording for the reservation recording of a program based on a user instruction (operation input) that the EPG program table data generated by the program table generating unit 58 is output to the EPG program table (program table) of the display 26 via the OSD processing unit 24, generates reservation recording information, and stores the information in the storage device 67. In addition, the scheduled recording information may be stored in the RAM54 or the NVM 55.
The reservation control unit 59 performs recording according to the time shift function (hereinafter referred to as "loop recording") based on a Channel (CH) and a time zone set in advance by the time shift function. The scheduled recording information recorded according to the time shifter function is a Channel (CH) and a time slot set as a recording object.
Further, each, or at least one, or any number of the above-described recording/playback processing section 56, program information acquisition section 57, program table generation section 58, and reservation control section 59 may be firmware of the CPU 52.
On the screen displayed on the display 26, the CPU52 accepts operation inputs from the remote controller 71 corresponding to the respective color button displays ("blue" button display 26B, "red" button display 26R, "green" button display 26G, and "yellow" button display 26Y) that have accepted operation inputs for a specific function. That is, the CPU52 determines that an operation of any one of the "blue" key 71B, the "red" key 71R, the "green" key 71G, and the "yellow" key 71Y of the remote controller 71 is a command corresponding to a button of a specific color displayed on the screen, and receives a command corresponding to an operation input of the key.
Here, two program tables (the EPG program table 201 for broadcast viewing and scheduled recording and the timeshifter past program table 301 for viewing of a recorded program) generated by the program table generating unit 58 will be described.
Fig. 2 shows an example of display of an EPG program table (program table of programs to be broadcast now and in the future: future program table) corresponding to the program table data (EPG program table data) generated by the program table generating unit 58.
As shown in fig. 2, the EPG program table 201 includes at least channel display fields 201A to 201F (row direction or horizontal axis) that display programs broadcast by a prescribed number of channels (television stations), a display field 210 (column direction or vertical axis) for each time slot, a date switching tab 211, a display field 212 that selects details of a program, page switching buttons ("blue" button 26B, "red" button 26R, "green" button 26G, and "yellow" button 26Y), and a current date and time display field 213 on the upper right of the screen. The display fields specified by the channel and time period are program fields, also called program units.
The EPG program table 201 has program fields of programs that can be specified by the vertical axis and the horizontal axis, and displays the next menu by selecting and operating a desired program field with the remote controller 71, so that viewing or scheduled recording of a corresponding program can be performed by an operation of viewing or scheduled recording from the menu.
Fig. 3 shows an example of display of a timeshifter past program table (program table of recorded program: timeshifter past program table) corresponding to the program table data (timeshifter past program table data) generated by the program table generation section 58.
As shown in fig. 3, the time shifter past program table 301 includes at least channel display fields 301A to 301F (row direction or horizontal axis) displaying programs played by a prescribed number of channels (television stations), a display field 310 (column direction or vertical axis) for each time slot, a date switching tab 311, a display field 312 selecting details of the program, page switching buttons ("blue" button 36B, "red" button 36R, "green" button 36G, and "yellow" button 36Y), and a current date and time display field 313 on the upper right of the screen.
The time shifter past program table 301 displays programs for playback that have been recorded in unit form in the vertical axis (channel) and horizontal axis (time), and has one or more program columns. That is, the time shifter past program table 301 displays program columns of programs that have been recorded in the past in substantially the same form as the EPG program table 201 shown in fig. 2.
In the time shifter past program table 301, a desired program field is selected from the plurality of program fields by the remote controller 71, and the recorded program can be played back and viewed.
The program column, for example, program column 302, of the programs with the content not satisfied in the program columns of the past program table 301 of the time shifter is marked with a mark 303 indicating that the program content is not satisfied in the lower right corner, and the user immediately knows that the recorded program is the program with the content not satisfied when seeing the mark 303.
Next, referring to fig. 4, the recording management table 67a referred to by the program table generating unit 58 when generating the time-shift-unit past program table 301 will be described.
As shown in fig. 4, the recording management table 67a is a table in which a program title, a recording date, a time zone (start time, end time) of the EPG, a time zone (start time, end time) of the loop recording (scheduled recording), and an established state are stored for each program ID.
In the column of the established state, the program determining unit 60 determines that the program is not established/established, and sets the program to "1" or "0". The program is set to "1" when the program is not established (incomplete), and is set to "0" when the program content is established (complete).
Hereinafter, the operation of the recording and playback apparatus 1 will be described with reference to fig. 5 to 7.
In the case of this recording and playback apparatus 1, the recording and playback processing unit 56 reads the scheduled recording information of the storage device 67 (step S101 in fig. 5); if the time does not reach the recording start time (no in step S102), returning to S101; if the time reaches the recording start time (yes in step S102), recording is started (step S103); if the time does not reach the recording end time (no in step S104), returning to step S103; if the recording end time is reached (yes in step S104), the recording is ended (step S105). At this time, the program scheduled to be recorded in advance is recorded in the storage device 6 or 7 by the record playback processing section 56, and the attribute information of each program is stored in the storage device 67.
When the recording is completed, the program determination unit 60 reads the attribute information of the program in the storage unit 67 and the condition that the program is not satisfied from the storage unit 67, and determines whether or not the recorded program satisfies the condition that the program is not satisfied (step S106). In addition, the decision action may be generally performed during recording.
If the determination result is that the condition that the program is not satisfied (no in step S106), the program determination unit 60 records the satisfied state of the program ID of the corresponding program in the recording management table 67a as "0" (step S107).
In addition, if the determination result indicates that the condition that the program is not satisfied is satisfied (yes in step S106), the program determination unit 60 records the satisfied state of the program ID of the corresponding program in the recording management table 67a as "1" (step S108).
Then, when the user views the recorded program, the user operates the remote controller 71 to instruct the time shifter past program table 301 of fig. 3 to be displayed (step S110 of fig. 6).
In the recording and reproducing apparatus 1, when receiving an instruction from the remote controller 71 (yes in step S111), the program table generating unit 58 refers to the recording management table 67a when generating a program field of a recorded program which can be reproduced, and generates time-shift past program table data in which a mark 303 indicating that the program content is not established is marked on a program field 302 of a program whose establishment state is "1" which satisfies an unrealistic condition in the program field, and outputs the time-shift past program table data to the display 26 via the OSD processing unit 24 and the display control unit 25 (step S113) (step S112).
As shown in fig. 7, in the time shifter past program table 301 (see fig. 3) displayed on the screen of the display 26, a mark 303 is displayed in the program column 302 of a program satisfying an unsatisfied condition, and the user can determine that the program is a program whose content is not satisfied at a glance by seeing the mark 303.
As described above, according to the recording and playback apparatus 1, the condition that the program content is not established is stored in advance, if there is an instruction operation to play back a recorded program, the program table generating section 58 generates and displays a time-shift past program table 301 based on the attribute information of the program and the established state of the recording management table 67a, wherein in the time shift machine past program table 301, a mark 303 for indicating that the program is not established is marked on a program column 302 of a program satisfying the condition (a program with non-established content) in the program columns of the recorded programs, the user can grasp the recording of the program without watching the program by only seeing the program column 302 of the past program table 301 of the time shifter, for example, the beginning or end of a program is missing, or a program is missing due to poor signal, or a part or all of a program cannot be recorded (a program with no content).
That is, the user can visually judge the recording status of the recorded program only by viewing the past program table 301 of the time shift machine of the recorded program, and the user can avoid the situation of wasting time to watch the program.
In the above embodiment, when a part of a program cannot be recorded, a triangular mark 303 is displayed in the program column 302, but in addition, for example, when an arbitrary 1 program is interrupted entirely by an external factor, as shown in fig. 8, the corresponding program column 304 may be marked with "(|) and time shift machine recording cannot be performed. "and the like, and text information 305. Thus, in the time shifter past program table 301, the program field of the program that cannot be recorded at all is not blank (left blank), and the program that cannot be recorded at all can be identified as another unrealistic program, so that the user can know that recording is not possible in the recording time zone specified by the user.
In the above-described embodiment, the triangular mark 303 is shown as being placed in the lower right corner of the program column 302, but in addition to this, the display form of the mark 303 may be changed (for example, the position of the mark 303 may be changed, characters such as a program name and program information may be grayed out, or the color of the mark 303 may be changed) depending on the reason (user operation or recording setting) that the program content is not established.
For example, when the reason why the program is not established is that the time set for recording is not coincident, the mark 303 may be placed at the right corner of the program field 302 when the recording end time is not coincident and the program is not ending, and the mark 303 may be placed at the left corner of the program field 302 when the recording start time is not coincident and the program is not starting. Note that marks 303 may be placed at the left and right corners of the program column 302 of a program that is determined to be not found because there is no beginning or no end.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described, the embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. The new embodiment can be implemented in other various forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the invention described in the present disclosure and equivalent scope thereof.
The components of the recording and playback apparatus 1 described in the above embodiments may be realized by a program installed in a memory such as a hard disk device of a computer, or the program may be stored in advance in a computer-readable electronic medium: in electronic media, a computer is caused to read a program from an electronic medium, thereby causing the computer to realize the functions of the present invention.
As the electronic medium, for example, a recording medium such as a CD-ROM, or a flash memory, a removable medium: removable media, and the like. Further, the communication may be realized by storing the components in separate computers connected via a network and distributing the components to each other, so that the computers that function the components can communicate with each other.
